Daniel Johnston is a Major in the United States Air Force, serving as a maintenance officer with experience commanding teams in both combat and training environments. He currently serves as the Director of Operations for the C-5 Maintenance Squadron at Dover Air Force Base. His previous assignments include serving as an Air Force ROTC instructor at Brigham Young University and as the Logistics Fielding Chief for the T-7A Red Hawk program. San Francisco receiver Pearsall is out with quarterback Purdy questionable to serve as a backup. On defense their tackles and two linebackers are questionable. LA has a massive injury advantage based on the Chao ratings. The San Francisco defense has the lowest rating at 61. Recent Box Score Key Stats Rams at 49ers 4:25PM ET—LA improved to 6-2 following their 34-10 home victory against New Orleans. The Rams gained 438 yards with good work in the run and pass. On defense they held the Saints to 57 rushing yards with 167 yards passing for 6.7 yards per pass attempt. Matthew Stafford completed 24 of 32 for 281 yards with four touchdowns. San Francisco is 6-3 after their 34-24 road win at NY Giants. The 49ers had movement in the passing game and rushed for 159 yards for 4.1 yards per pass attempt. On defense they limited the Giants through the air and allowed 117 yards rushing for 5.6 yards a carry. Mac Jones hit 19 of 24 for 235 yards with two touchdowns. Jones will get the start.

On today's episode, we will dive into the Kirtland Cult Killings that took place in Kirtland, Ohio. This small town, situated in Lake County and only a 25-minute drive east of Cleveland, became a national headline in January 1990. After moving to Kirtland, Lundgren established himself as a lay minister for the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Dale Luffman, the president of the northeast Ohio chapter of the Reorganized Church, confirmed that Lundgren served at the church temple in Kirtland from 1985 to 1987. During this period, he took charge of guiding tours of the church's 153-year-old temple for the public after relocating from Kansas City, Missouri. The victims were the Dennis Avery family: Dennis, Cheryl, and their three daughters—Trina (15), Rebecca (13), and Karen (7). They had moved from Missouri to join Lundgren's group around 1987. On April 17, 1989, Lundgren invited the Averys to his farm in Kirtland for a “last supper”-type gathering. One by one, they were taken to a barn behind the house, where they were bound, gagged with duct tape, and shot to death. Reports indicate that a chainsaw was used to muffle the sound of the gunshots.
