However, some relationships can be harder to build than others, particularly those with the younger generation. Earlier this month, Amada Martin announced that Labour's new sentencing Bill 2025 would change how the courts view tool theft. This means that when sentencing thieves, courts will take into account the full impact of tool theft, including lost livelihoods, business disruption and mental health impacts.
