In May, Nextech3D.ai received an order for over 1,000 3D AI models and more than 4,000 3D AI digital photos, with deliveries scheduled to start in June. The order, valued in the mid-six figures, underscores the company's role as a pioneer in AI technologies and its capability in creating high-resolution 3D models and renderings for e-commerce enterprises globally. Nextech3D.ai is currently engaged in direct collaborations with Amazon and other major e-commerce retailers, such as Kohl's. The company has also introduced "one-click integration" with major e-commerce platforms like Shopify, BigCommerce, and WooCommerce, which have incorporated 3D/AR features and are setting new standards for Web 3.0 in e-commerce. Looking forward, Nextech3D.ai is optimistic about its profitability prospects for 2024, anticipating scaling revenue with an 80% profit margin as operating expenses decrease, thanks to its investment in patented AI technologies. The father of a young fourteen-year-old girl in Spain was recently quoted in a news report as saying this: “Today a smartphone can be considered as a weapon. . . a weapon with a real potential of destruction, and I don't want it to happen again.” What was this father talking about? He was the father of one of the over thirty twelve to fourteen year old girls in a town in spain who were victimized by a group of male minors who used an artificial intelligence app to remove clothing from the girls in photos. The app, called Nudify, is one of a growing number of phone apps that uses AI to change a photo into a nude one. These fake nudes are then distributed through social media, leading to what's rightly being called the direct exploitation and abuse of women and girls. In some cases, the photos are used for extortion purposes to get money from the victims at the threat of posting or sharing the photo online. Parents, teach your kids that exploitation of this or any type, is sinful and wrong.

Do you have a couple of old computers around your house that you have absolutely no idea what to do with? You don't want to just throw them away because you know there are some old pictures and home videos on there that you don't want to lose.     But sadly you haven't even looked at those pictures or videos in years. If you're not very techy you're probably overwhelmed at the thought of transferring them to your new computer so you just keep putting it off and those laptops and computers keep following you from home to home.     That's exactly what I did with two laptops I had been hanging on to for years. One of those laptops I purchased when I was in college twenty years ago.     I've had several clients lately who I helped declutter and recycle their computers and it motivated me to finally take care of my own. And it was actually a lot easier than I thought it would be so I'm sharing with you exactly what I did to declutter my old computers and how I personally organize my old photos and home videos.     Blessings to you!     Need one-on-one support and accountability? While cloud services such as iPhotos and Google Photos are convenient, they aren't always affordable and they put your pictures under the control of large companies with their own agendas. LibrePhotos is an open source and self-hosted alternative to these services that puts you in control of your digital memories. In this episode the maintainer of LibrePhotos, Niaz Faridani-Rad, explains how he got involved with the project, the capabilities that it offers for managing your image library, and how to get your own instance set up to take back control of your pictures.

If you're looking for the motivation, apps, and process to get your digital photos sorted once and for all, this ep where we interview Carly Michael is for you. About Carly Michael Carly Michael has spent her whole life surrounded by photos having grown up in her family's camera store - Michaels Camera Video and Digital in Melbourne's CBD. When covid hit, the family decided to close the store so she took the opportunity to become a professional photo organiser - something she had developed a passion for during her time managing the family's photo lab. She now spends her days organising both physical and digital photos, helping people get back in control of their photo mess! Digital photos made the top five life admin pain points in our 2021 community survey and while Dinah has had her photos sorted for some time until we recorded this ep Mia felt like there would never be enough time or motivation in the world for her to get her photos into a format that other people can actually access and enjoy. After the interview Mia downloaded the apps suggested, they did their magic, and her photos are finally organised. Carly starts the interview by talking about her background and how she became interested in the digital dark age. The digital dark age is a concern that, as technology advances, we will lose access to photos and other data as our current media (including hard drives and USBs) are not designed to last. Mia and Carly discuss how setting yourself a deadline and having a photo project as a goal will give you the motivation Carly discussed the key characteristics of an organised photosystem being: organised - chronologically is the easiest centralised  accessible - ideally on your phone backed up  (consider the 3-2-1 system -  3 copies of your photos,  stored in 2 locations with 1 of those being off site) Carly discusses the risks around cloud storage (eg Google's recent change to its terms and conditions that states If you're inactive for two years Google may delete the content. She also discusses the importance of distinguishing between a back-up and a sync. The key steps to get your photos organised are: Gather - Make a list of all your photos (including on devices and in the cloud)and gather them into one physical location Centralise - Put all your digital photos into a central hub - ideally using a hard drive. If you have issues extracting photos consider using Dropbox. It is also useful as a backup Back Up - Carly recommends using BackBlaze Deduplicate - Get rid of duplicates - Carly recommends using Photosweeper for a Mac and Duplicate Cleaner Pro for a PC Organise your photos (folderise them) - Carly recommends using Big Mean Folder Machine for Macs and Photomove for PC. If you run into issues with dates you can use Adobe Bridge to assist with finding the original dates Maintain - consider using dropbox to make a backup of your photos from your phone (not a sync) until you reorganise them. Then create a habit (perhaps by pairing with another regular task) to make sure you oragnise your folders on a regular basis. Also consider changing your behaviour to curate your collection as you go. Adopt the same mindset as you had when you took photos with film. Carly also discusses scanning hardcopy photos - noting that if you are going to scan photos you want to scan once and to the quality you want. You can scan photos using your phone with apps such as photomyne, however, the quality will be limited. She notes that if you are going to scan you want to organise as you scan. Carly also recommends changing your photo setting on your iPhone from HEIC to JPG and not using the Live feature. RESOURCES PhotoGenie - Digital Reset Service Back Blaze - Backup service  Photosweeper - to deduplicate photos on a Mac Duplicate Cleaner Pro - to deduplicate photos on a PC Big Mean Photo Machine - to organise photos on a Mac Photomove - to organise photos on a PC Adobe Bridge Dropbox Camera upload Photomyne - app to scan photos from your phone SHARE Please head to the Life Admin Life Hacks Facebook,  Insta or Linked In pages to connect with listeners and share your thoughts, questions or suggestions.

Continued from Part 1… We take so many photos in our day-to-day lives that it's easy to forget how valuable each picture used to be. A century ago, getting a single portrait was an event. Even as recently as the 1990s, photos came at a premium, with film rolls limiting you to a couple dozen pictures that took time and money to have developed. Now, I can take 24 pictures and upload them to the web before I've even had breakfast. Recently I was reminded that photos still hold a lot of value. With our first baby due in less than two months, my wife and I decided it was the right time to have maternity photos taken at a professional studio. No selfie sticks required! As one might expect, this was not a cheap endeavor. I think my jaw dropped when the final bill was presented to us. But once I got over the price tag — and saw the quality of the images compared to the ones taken on our smartphones — I was incredibly happy we spent the money. Of course, the first thing we did when we got home was upload the images onto the cloud to make sure they can't be misplaced or damaged. If only I could do the same for my snowboard! Lately I've been thinking a lot about the value I place on certain items. For example, if my house were to go up in flames, which items would I try to save? Let's pretend that each item weighs the same and is easy to carry, but that I can pick only one thing to bring with me. Would it be something that brings me joy, like the snowboard I bought just last year or the television that I've relied on to keep me entertained during the pandemic? Or would it be something more practical, like the new and ever-so-slightly-fancy fridge my wife and I bought a couple months ago? Perhaps it would be something that is practical but also boring, like a washing machine. There are also numerous sentimental items that might be on my shortlist. But — thanks to digital storage — I don't think our photographs would make the cut. Don't get me wrong, there are some photos of family, friends and travel experiences that I cherish, but thankfully all of them are backed up digitally. That's undoubtedly a good thing. I suspect if I was pondering this question 30 years ago, prized photo albums would be at or near the top of my list of items to save. Still, despite the benefits of digital storage, I have to wonder if it has caused me to devalue something that I might have once held dear. How can we easily sort and organise our digital photos so we can later easily find them? Join Fiona Staff and Chantal Imbach as they answer this and other important questions.Once we have gathered all photos it is time to sort and organise them. Before starting to move any photos though, we’ll run a backup and create a copy of the ‘mess’. In this episode, you receive a little gift: we have created an empty folder structure which you can download and use however you want to. But before you start moving photos into your new structure, you’ll de-duplicate (check out our links for software that help you do the job). This step is followed by a good declutter and by highlighting your favourite photos! Only then will you start moving your photos into the structure you chose. Our gift to you: various empty folder structures to download.https://mailchi.mp/d2e046e06404/folderstructureDe-duplication software (no affiliation):PhotoSweeper (from Apple Store): https://itunes.apple.com/au/app/photosweeper/id463362050?mt=12PowerPhotos (for Mac): https://www.fatcatsoftware.com/powerphotos/Gemini II: https://macpaw.com/geminiCleanMyMac: https://macpaw.com/store/cleanmymacCleanMyPC: https://macpaw.com/store/cleanmypcDuplicate Cleaner Pro: https://www.digitalvolcano.co.uk/dcpro.htmlWe would love to see you over at our Facebook page www.facebook.com/diyphotoorganising and our Instagram page www.instagram.com/diyphotoorganising.If you’d like to learn more about us, go to:www.diyphotoorganising.comFiona Staff’s website: www.photohelper.com.au orChantal Imbach’s website: www.simplyinorder.com.auIf you are not in Melbourne and need a personal photo organiser check out www.appo.org to find help closer to home.AuthorFiona Staff and Chantal Imbach

Não gostei do resultado final.Michelle: Eh, aqui quem revela as fotos somos nós mesmos. Culturas diferentes, ¿no? ¿Es fácil usar esas máquinas? ¿Es igual a un cajero automático?Michelle: Es súper fácil. Se puede revelar más de mil fotos y el costo no es alto.EnglishValdo: In Brazil there is always someone who will develop our pictures. And here, what's the best procedure?Michelle: Here there is no lack of these high tech machines where you can get colored prints.Valdo: Last time I developed (my pictures) the blue color came out too strong. I didn't like how they looked.Michelle: Here you can develop your own pictures. You just have to save them to a CD or take the memory card, select the prints you want on the screen and print them out on paper.Valdo: Not bad, right? Different cultures I guess. But is it easy to use these machines? Is it like an ATM machine?Michelle: It's really easy. You could print out a thousand pictures and it doesn't cost a lot.
