Also in this episode: Cyttorak is a drama queen Emplate is a gay S&M bondage vampire Anthony was obsessed with the X-Men villain pronounced A Poke Uh Lips Lodro thinks Angel is still dating Husk Dating Deathbird is gay Everyone's relationship is everyone's business Xavier cuts the Juggernaut out of all family photos Juggernaut knows his color blocking ...and Anthony gets his X-Men tarot reading! What does any of this mean for his future? Tune in to find out! Anthony Oliveira is a multiple National Magazine and GLAAD award-winning writer, pop culture critic, and PhD based in Toronto. An absolute stinker that never seemed to know what it was, or even what it wanted to be, which is unfortunate because there were several interesting directions that could've been taken. We also discuss another Simpsons "heel" theory, Dando wetting the bed, the best way to eat a peach and more.If you enjoy this review, please consider supporting us on Patreon for as little as $1 per month at patreon.com/fourfingerdiscountListen on Spotify - spoti.fi/4fDcSY0Listen on Apple Podcasts - apple.co/4dgpW3ZCHECK OUT OUR OTHER PODCASTS:Toon'd In! with Jim Cummings - spreaker.com/show/toond-in-with-jim-cummingsGoin' Down To South Park - spreaker.com/show/goin-down-to-south-parkThe Movie Guide with Leonard Maltin - themovieguidepodcast.comThe One About Friends - spreaker.com/show/the-one-about-friends-podcastTalking Seinfeld - spreaker.com/show/talking-seinfeldSpeaKing Of The Hill - spreaker.com/show/speaking-of-the-hill-a-king-of-the-hill-The Office Talk - spreaker.com/show/the-office-talk-podcastBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/four-finger-discount-simpsons-podcast--5828977/support.

Things are going too smoothly with Aiden for Carrie's liking, so she decides to create drama where there is none. Unfortunately, a run in with Big at the opera (sure….) leads us to assume Carrie really has no business dating anyone until she maybe gets therapy. Miranda is now fully domesticated and her biggest issue is that her boyfriend can't seem to wipe his own @ss, and Samantha gets addicted to Viagra, even though we don't think that's really a “thing”. Meanwhile, Charlotte finally meets Trey, and we can't WAIT for the ride to begin! Enjoy!!! Andy Warhol's observation of stars Edie Sedgwick and Judy Garland reveals a surprising truth about why some people are drawn to those surrounded by constant drama. What seems like a flaw—perpetual chaos and drama—can actually be an attraction, offering others an escape from their own problems by becoming absorbed in someone else's compelling crisis. One Tree Hill star Bethany Joy Lenz knows a lot about cults – from personal and professional experience. While she stared in a show about cults, Bethany found herself in the Big House Family church covenant, a bible study group-turned-cult that isolated her from her family and peers. Joining a cult is much easier than you might think, and incredibly smart people join cults often. According to Bethany, cults like the one she joined prey on your desire for community, approval, and deep conversation. They use these desires as tools to isolate. But any narcissist will use the same tools, so it's important to recognize them at work, in family, and in relationships. Hear Bethany's journey to recovery in her faith and relationships, and learn how she redefined her life. 05:06 Craving Approval From Others 07:24 When Community Becomes A Cult 12:57 Isolation and Rebuilding Relationships 18:31 How Narcissists Gain Your Respect 22:13 Us vs. Them Mentality 26:35 Learning How To Apologize 29:33 Relearning Relationships 33:08 Brutal Honesty For more from Joy, follow her at @msbethanyjoylenz or her podcast, Drama Queens, at @dramaqueensoth. Bethany Joy Lenz was born in Florida and grew up in Texas, which is where she first got involved in the performing arts, carrying on a tradition she inherited from her grandparents. Her family eventually headed to New Jersey, where her Southerness drew the wrong kind of attention from some of the girls in her class, but she made it through the experience and eventually landed on the hit TV show One Tree Hill. Now Joy is living in Nashville, writing and performing music, editing a publication called Modern Vintage, and hosting a podcast with her One Tree Hill co-stars called Drama Queens. If that's not enough, she's starring in the new Hallmark Original Movie, A Biltmore Christmas, which is based on a trip back in time to the famous North Carolina estate, and she's working on a book about her years spent in a strange cult.
