We're discussing the feedback from Sooz Review of Jaws, and why people are real worked up about it. We learn about a woman who changed her gender on LinkedIn only to get a 400% increase in page views, so obviously we're mad about it. Sarah explains why drones are being used in warfare and it feels more dangerous than you'd think. Susie describes a study that had a man dressed as Batman entering a subway car, and the surprising effect it had on passengers, but the real surprise was the conclusions it gave scholars. We learn about a man who is wearing ridiculous pants to win a jeans contest for absolutely no reason, and Sarah cannot quit laughing at him. Plus, we hear about a trial where a mistress was fined almost $2M for breaking up a marriage, while the man was not held accountable in any way.Brain Candy Podcast Website - https://thebraincandypodcast.com/Brain Candy Podcast Book Recommendations - https://thebraincandypodcast.com/books/Brain Candy Podcast Merchandise - https://thebraincandypodcast.com/candy-store/Brain Candy Podcast Candy Club - https://thebraincandypodcast.com/product/candy-club/Brain Candy Podcast Sponsor Codes - https://thebraincandypodcast.com/support-us/Brain Candy Podcast Social Media & Platforms:Brain Candy Podcast LIVE Interactive Trivia Nights - https://www.youtube.com/@BrainCandyPodcast/streamsBrain Candy Podcast Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/braincandypodcastHost Susie Meister Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/susiemeisterHost Sarah Rice Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/imsarahriceBrain Candy Podcast on X: https://www.x.com/braincandypodBrain Candy Podcast Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/braincandy (JOIN FREE - TONS OF REALITY TV CONTENT)Brain Candy Podcast Sponsors, partnerships, & Products that we love:Get $35 off Aura's best-selling Carver Mat frames - named #1 by Wirecutter - by going to https://auraframes.com and using promo code BRAINCANDY at checkout. For 20% off your order, head to https://reliefband.com and use code BRAINCANDYSee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

From flashlight stances to 10-second doorway scans, the leaders of the Mommy Militia learn how to navigate a world full of lurking threats, fire, danger, and of course… clowns. Shout out to Jason Fabus for the amazing sax intro (IG: @jasonfabus). Tom and Christina show off an impressive array of emergency gear (machetes, trauma shears, MRE pizza with 5,000 calories, brass knuckles, and a foldable murder-credit-card), before the two dive into more safety guy Larry Betz safety lessons, some prime examples of black romance, horny James Joyce letters, trench foot, some horrible or hilarious clips, some TikTok's, and then addressing the loss of a truly stacked inspiration. Today's episode is for the Jersey girls who grew up sharing closets, swapping outfits, and believing that if you had your best friend beside you, you could figure anything out. We're sitting down with Jilly and Madison — lifelong best friends, born-and-raised Jersey girls, and the female founders behind Rated Everybody. Their story started the way so many great ones do: Hannah Montana marathons, dress-up sessions that doubled as fashion shows, and shopping trips where half the fun was deciding who got to borrow what first.Every era had the designated piece — the one item that traveled between them through first dates, breakups, big interviews, shore weekends, and everything in between. But despite sharing almost everything, there was one thing they could never split: jeans.Different bodies. Different fits. Different seasons of womanhood. And no denim brand that actually understood how real women live.So they built one — together.Rated Everybody is denim made with full elastic that moves with you, grows with you, and meets you where you are. Jeans that don't judge. Don't pinch. Don't demand consistency from a life that's anything but. Denim that supports the moment you're living in while letting you stay the main character of your own story. This conversation is about female friendship, building a brand from the ground up, and what it really looks like to be two women from Jersey turning shared frustration into a business rooted in confidence, comfort, and community.Because when women build for women — especially Jersey girls — it hits different.
Ever look at your closet and think, I have nothing to wear… even when it's fully stocked? You're not alone. We're diving into the world of “cool mom” style with Cassidy Crockett, creator of the viral Cool Monologue series and the ultimate observer of what stylish women are actually wearing on the streets of New York. Cassidy breaks down the real-life outfit formulas that make women look effortlessly pulled together — from the denim brands worth investing in to the high-low shopping tricks that make luxury style more accessible. We talk capsule wardrobes, winter fashion trends, and how to rebuild your personal style after a life shift, whether that's becoming a mom, changing careers, or stepping into a new chapter. If you've been craving a wardrobe reset, fresh outfit inspiration, or simply want to feel excited about getting dressed again, this episode is your ultimate cool-girl fashion playbook — no matter your age or life stage. Azizullah Aziz is a former Afghan interpreter who served alongside U.S. Special Operations forces for over a decade, including JSOC. In this powerful and unfiltered conversation, Aziz shares the reality of combat vetting versus U.S. immigration vetting, the failures of the Afghanistan evacuation, and what happens when wartime allies are brought to America without proper screening or support. From surviving the chaos at HKIA to spending nine months in limbo with his family, Aziz explains the mental, spiritual, and cultural challenges Afghan allies face and why purpose, faith, and assimilation matter. This episode exposes hard truths about national security, immigration policy, trauma, and the forgotten allies America promised to protect.Get the Book "Saving Aziz": https://a.co/d/jiSYlpaFollow Aziz: https://www.instagram.com/azizullahwazizRESILIENT:Live Resilient Store: https://shop.theresilientshow.comJoin Our Patreon: https://patreon.com/theresilientshowFollow Us On Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/resilientshowFollow Us On Twitter: https://twitter.com/resilientshowFollow Us On TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@resilientshowFollow Chad:https://www.instagram.com/chadrobo_officialhttps://www.x.com/chadroboChad's Jacket is from: https://thenormalbrand.comChad's Jeans are from: https://devil-dog.comSPONSORS:Smith & Wesson: https://www.smith-wesson.com/Vortex Optics:https://vortexoptics.comGatorz Eyewear: https://www.gatorz.com/Allied Wealth:https://alliedwealth.comBioPro+: https://www.bioproteintech.com/CHAD30BioXCellerator:https://www.bioxcellerator.comThe Holy Waters:https://theholywaters.comGet The Resilient Show x Uncharted Supply Co Bag: https://shop.theresilientshow.comTRS is a proud supporter of military & first responder communities in partnership with Mighty Oaks Foundation.
(This is the reposted - CORRECT episode and it's a good'un!) In this episode, Lisa kicks things off by shouting out some of the brilliant listeners who've left reviews recently (thank you!) and responds to two specific requests for an episode on “elevated casual.” Those messages sparked today's chat on how to look pulled‑together over the festive season and when you're WFH – because how you show up at home still affects how you feel and how you work. You'll hear loads of ideas for elevating casual looks, from jeans‑and‑a‑nice‑top (the forever hero outfit formula) to easy ways to smarten your everyday knits, denim and flats so you feel stylish but not “done.” Lisa also talks about what she's actually wearing this Christmas, with party outfit ideas that work whether you're heading to a house party (no heel dents in someone's wooden floors, please), a cosy drinks night or something a bit more glam. Jeans and a nice top still absolutely earns its place, but you'll also hear about the hottest trend for 2025/26: underwear as outerwear – think slip dresses, lingerie‑inspired pieces and “nightie but make it out‑out” styling, for those who dare. You can also shop the pod: use the link in the show notes to see Lisa's curated edit and shop her recommendations directly – from elevated casual staples to party‑ready pieces that actually work in real life. Finally, Lisa shares why now is the moment to grab your ticket for the Super Styling Event: The Winning Wardrobe Formula in January. If you've got lots of clothes but never feel like you have outfits, feel a bit lost with your style, or don't know where to shop and what to buy next, this one‑day event is designed to change that. You'll walk away with your 3 style words, a clear way to declutter, practical styling tips and outfit ideas mapped out for your real life – and there are only a few spaces left, making it a brilliant Christmas present to yourself. Unbedingt schauen!

In this week's AC Podcast, Steve Kim sits down with our newest AC Adjunct speakers, Jean-Sébastien Morin and Samuel Plante to explore faith, culture, and ministry in Quebec. They share their personal journeys, unpack the province's unique secular landscape, and reflect on how history — from the Quiet Revolution to today's political climate and Bill C-9 — shapes the challenges Christians face. Quebec needs ministry that speaks its own language and stories. If we want to reach Quebec, we must first understand it.

Hey Guys, In this episode, you'll spend just ten minutes setting up your closet so tomorrow's decluttering session is fast, clean, and doable. No decisions today — only preparation. Wardrobe Decluttering Series Overview This month we're decluttering your wardrobe in four simple categories so you never feel overwhelmed: 1️⃣ Tops Everything worn from your neck to your waist • Hanging vs. folded • Long-sleeve vs. short-sleeve • Goal: Build a foundation you actually love to wear 2️⃣ Bottoms Anything worn from your waist down • Jeans, pants, leggings, skirts, shorts • Clear out anything that no longer fits your life or body 3️⃣ One-Piece Outfits All the items that stand alone • Dresses, jumpsuits, rompers • Keep only the pieces that make you feel confident 4️⃣ Everything Else The final layer of your wardrobe • Jackets, coats, shoes, undergarments, belts, tights, scarves, hats, accessories • Align these items with who you are today — not past or fantasy versions of you How This Series Works • One small category at a time • Clear, doable steps in every episode • Focused attention so you can actually finish each section Why We Do It This Way Because your wardrobe holds old identities — versions of you from the past or imaginary futures. Sorting by category gives your brain clarity so decision-making becomes logical instead of emotional. When you can see what you really own, you can finally choose what supports the life you have now.

Yaël Pericard has been to 133 countries Hey now, I am your host, Ric Gazarian. In this episode, I have the pleasure to speak with traveler Yael Pericard. I met Yael briefly at the ETF in Bangkok and follow him on FB, but here is another case of a traveler who I really did not know well. Of course that is no longer the case after our conversation. Yael leads an adventurous life from summiting 7000 meters in Pakistan, to giving back in the Phillipines, to risking it all to explore a remote airstrip in Lesotho (this one is a pretty crazy story). And, you will get to meet him at the Extraordinary Travel Festival in Bangkok as he is coming back for the next event in 2026. I would like to thank everyone for their support of Counting Countries, especially my Patrons. You know them, you love them! Please remember the next Extraordinary Travel Festival will be on October 22-25 in 2026. You can join the event and use code BANGKOK to save $110 for this incredibly packed event. We have announced a new speaker, Roberto Helou, who you might know from IG as ExploRob. I followed him last year as he biked from Cairo to Cape Town on an epic journey. I am excited to hear him speak next year. Consider joining our Instagram and Facebook groups and signing up for the ETF newsletter. Any questions, please let me know. I was in Bangkok while Yael was in Norway for this recording. Please listen in and enjoy. It’s Black Friday, and we’re celebrating with a jam-packed Best of the Conway Jr. Show! Tim kicks things off with a painfully funny tale about a girlfriend who once invited him to the Getty Museum — during the Dodgers World Series. Mark Thompson shares a voiceover session gone wrong, and we revisit the unforgettable “You’re cute, jeans” moment that left everyone in stitches. Plus, Tim relives an awkwardly sweet double date movie night in Seattle in a segment we call “When Harry Met Seattle.”.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Jeans copped the biggest spray today as we unpacked the bizarre truth that you’re apparently not meant to wash them, which sent everyone into a full existential crisis about smells, sweat and that weird denim rigidity that ruins your day.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Ricki kicked things off with her cooked sleep schedule before we dove into Pauline Hanson’s sandwich press wagyu for Barnaby Joyce, plus the whispers he might be sliding her way politically. Glossys ran wild with Bieber peeing in the Palm Springs bushes, Kasey Musgraves’ accidental trip to a Sydney gay sauna, Hilary Duff dodging Leo questions and J Lo raking in three million to sing at a billionaire wedding in India. We absolutely lost it over the grandma who proudly froze what she thought were Christmas tree ice cubes that turned out to be, well, festive backdoor surprises. Jeans caused chaos again because apparently no one knows how to size them properly. Then we wrapped the whole thing up with a cracking round of Joel Jivin, artist doco edition, which went completely off the rails in the best way.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Beyond just a wardrobe staple, jeans are often key parts of signature looks and core memories. Levi Strauss, the San Francisco company that brought jeans to the masses, has reopened its history museum, The Vault, with an exhibit called “Amped” that celebrates iconic denim looks worn by musicians including Kurt Cobain, Beyoncé, Britney Spears and Freddie Mercury. We'll talk about the exhibit and hear stories of your favorite pair of jeans. Tell us about the jeans that made you feel brave, the ones covered in patches that you refused to retire or maybe the pair that you were wearing when you met your first love. Guests: Gregory Climer, chair, fashion design program at California College of the Arts Audrey Kalman, created a denim archive for her master's degree from the University of Oregon Tracey Panek, Levi Strauss and Co. historian Learn more about your ad choices. Kelly is all business today in her business casual best and making mandated dress codes for Lizz. Will Lizz comply with orders? Deer hunting season has started and ended for the Stumpe household. Tyler got his buck on the first day out, which was exciting for Kelly to have her husband back home with the family to help out around the house. But then that excitement ended and Tyler was put to bed. Meanwhile, Lizz spent the weekend in Indianapolis for the Marine Corp Ball. Matty is now in love with the city and is adopting the Colts as the team they will root for this season. But not everything was sunshine and roses as a bad Uber ride ended the evening early for Lizz. There is advice coming from everywhere this week. First, a sweet moment with George leads to a great lesson on helping your kids follow their dreams no matter what they are. The Detail Shop has some green linen pants that are going to change your fall wardrobe. Finally, in advice questions Kelly has your playbook for the perfect party with friends both old and new. If you're planning a "Favorite Things" party this is a MUST listen! In Industry News, Audi is trying to make a Land Rover rival. Will it work? Amazon is teaming with Ford to sell used cars.
