Peter Figge ist eigentlich BWLer – und dann auch noch einer, der früh davon überzeugt war, dass dieses Internet mit all seinen Möglichkeiten der Interaktion nicht wieder verschwinden würde. Das war damals, als er 2010 auf den Chefposten von Jung von Matt rückte, durchaus ein Bruch für eine Agentur, die für ihre Kreativität allerorten gefeiert wurde – und deren Gründer und Chef Blogs mal als „Klowände des Internets“ abgetan hatte. Wir sprechen darüber, welchen Wert Kreativität in der Werbung eigentlich noch hat – und wie Figge einen Laden voller Kreativer führt, wo ein Kollege es auch schon mal zur Bedingung macht, im Büro Holz zu hacken. Wir diskutieren, wie sehr Werbung heute eigentlich noch provozieren darf – und woher diese enorme Angst vorm Shitstorm bei den Unternehmen kommt. Doch die alten, klar verteilten Rollen zwischen Journalisten und Lesern lösen sich seither immer mehr auf. Die Deutungshoheit traditioneller Medien bröckelt. Soziale Netzwerke, die seit rund zehn Jahren auch große Player im Werbemarkt sind, stellen zudem die wirtschaftliche Grundlage der Verlage in Frage. Den Wandel der digitalen Öffentlichkeit intensiv verfolgt hat Jan-Hinrik Schmidt, Senior Researcher am Leibniz-Institut für Medienforschung / Hans-Bredow-Institut in Hamburg. Die Digitalisierung bedeutet weit mehr als nur eine technische Umstellung, denn die Grundlogik der neuen, datengetriebenen Plattformen geht einher mit einer eigenen Mechanik für Identitäts-, Beziehungs- und Informationsmanagement. Nachricht und Kommentar rücken in der Wahrnehmung enger zusammen. Algorithmen belohnen Kommunikation, die zugespitzt ist, und können an der Empörungsspirale drehen. Unterdessen hat es vernunftgeleitete Argumentation schon ein bisschen schwerer, sich Gehör zu verschaffen, weil sie naturgemäß nicht zur Erhöhung des Erregungslevels beitragen kann. Und dieser Trend kann Folgen für das Miteinander in einer Demokratie haben. Für den Soziologen Jan-Hinrik Schmidt steht fest: Die Regulierung der Plattformen wird eine medienpolitische Schlüsselfrage in den 2020er-Jahren sein – findet doch immer mehr Kommunikation in einer dezentralen Netzwerköffentlichkeit statt. Und so steht im Zentrum von Schmidts Forschung künftig die Frage: Können die sozialen Medien den gesellschaftlichen Zusammenhalt stärken oder bewirken sie das Gegenteil?

Dans cet épisode, Jeane reçoit Stéphanie Fellen, fondatrice de la première marque de mode éthique belge : Made & More. Cette liégeoise milite pour une mode responsable, engagée, favorisant l'économie circulaire. Il y a 4 ans, alors qu'elle travaillait comme femme d'affaires dans une grande entreprise de chimie, Stéphanie a décidé de se lancer et d'entreprendre. Au départ, elle avait pour ambition de créer une plateforme e-commerce proposant différentes marques de vêtements engagées et responsables. Très vite, elle a eu l'envie de créer sa propre marque et de concevoir une ligne de vêtements à son image. Ses premières collections voient le jour et Made & More rencontre un grand succès. Deux ans après le lancement, Stéphanie est obligée de déposer le bilan alors qu'elle entamait une seconde levée de fonds.
