As a lifelong liberal and celebrated vegan chef, Mollie believed she was doing her part for the environment. But her journey from a Los Angeles restaurateur to a farmer on Sovereignty Ranch taught her that nature has its own truths. Mollie's new book, "Debunked by Nature," shares her story of confronting uncomfortable realities on the farm—realities that challenged her long-held beliefs about food, soil, and society. Her work in regenerative farming isn't just about cultivating healthy land; it's about building a resilient future. Through community stewardship, she demonstrates that true change comes from the ground up, not from the top down. This conversation will explore how Mollie's experiences have redefined her relationship with political activism, leading her to question partisanship and advocate for a "radical centrist" approach. We'll delve into how reconnecting with the earth can lead to a new understanding of our place in the world and a fresh perspective on what it means to create a more sovereign, resilient future for all. Regeneration is a topic that divides people despite having good intentions at its core. But conservative regenerative farmer Mollie Engelhart does not rally on just one side of the aisle – she openly challenges dominant narratives and asks the difficult questions. She joins Corinna Bellizzi to look back on how she let go of her vegan diet to become an advocate for soil health, land stewardship, and political transformation. Delving into her personal experiences as a vegan restaurateur-turned-owner of the Sovereignty Ranch, Mollie emphasizes why saving the environment requires a strong coalition of left and right wings, stressing why such an issue must never be politicized. She also shares insights about what it takes to address the border issue, the challenges faced by undocumented communities, and how the regenerative movement must rethink how regulations are implemented.About Guest:Mollie Engelhart is the executive chef and founder of Sage Regenerative Kitchen in Los Angeles alongside her husband Elias as well as a leader in the Regenerative Agriculture movement with 200 acres at Sovereignty Ranch in the Texas Hill Country. Her mission is to produce healthy food from healthy soil for her communities. Mollie is the mother of five, a film producer, poet, and thought leader examining the connections of humanity, family, soil, food, and culture, constantly questioning “Where do we go from here?” She is passionate about health freedom, natural birth, breastfeeding, regenerative agriculture, community, and humanity's place in partnership with nature and God. As a self-proclaimed lifelong liberal, Mollie became confronted with the bureaucracy that destroyed her once thriving restaurants in Los Angeles during the pandemic. Mollie came to the conclusion that the democratic party did not center around family, God or freedom and now sees herself as a “radical centrist”. Since her revelations, Mollie has done many speaking events, giving testimony to how she became pro-life, the challenges of doing business in California, regenerative agriculture and the connection between soil and health. She regularly gets standing ovations and brings people to tears with her inspiring conversations. Lots of people transition from the vegan diet to one that includes meat and animal products...but few do so on a public stage. Former vegan chef Mollie Engelhart had a dietary change of heart that became very public when she changed the menu and name of her restaurant in California. That's when the virtual and in-person backlash and vitriol began. While Mollie's restaurant has now closed, she is a regenerative rancher who is sticking to her dietary convictions. Today Mollie shares her remarkable story, all that she went through, and why she has chosen to stand strong in the face of opposition. She also explains why she believes regeneratively raised meat, food traditions and food sovereignty are so important. And why she goes the extra mile to get raw milk to her community in Texas. Mollie Engelhart has one of the most eclectic backgrounds you may ever meet. She grew up on a farm in upstate New York before heading to California to study film at the prestigious, Disney-founded California Institute of the Arts. From there, she worked in A&R at Sony and became a recording artist herself, before taking on a new challenge by founding the vegan restaurants KindKreme and Sage. But when she started growing her own food on her own farmland to stock her restaurants' kitchens, she discovered an ever-mounting web of red tape and an avalanche of ridiculous overregulation that seemed contrary to every Californian's granola-fueled dreams of environmental friendliness and clean living. So, like many California residents, she picked up stakes and relocated to the Republic of Texas, building a farm, restaurant, brewery at Sovereignty Ranch, a 200-acre patch of unspoiled Hill Country near San Antonio. In this episode, she joins Victoria to share some incredible stories about her challenges in California, her philosophy of regenerative agriculture, and the looming health & environmental crises we may be facing if we fail to re-think how we feed ourselves. “More than 50 percent of Americans are metabolically unhealthy,” says Mollie Engelhart, a regenerative farmer and entrepreneur.Engelhart made the difficult decision to uproot her life in California due to heavy regulations and fallout from COVID-19 restrictions. She has since restarted from scratch in Texas.“All of our food comes from these industrial systems that has been sterilized, and we're not replenishing our microbiology when we're eating the foods of the current systems,” she says.“This is not a future crisis that we need to talk about ... this is happening right now.”In this episode, we'll take an in-depth tour of the Sovereignty Ranch and learn why Engelhart believes regenerative agriculture is the best way forward for humans, animals, and the planet.“We can't just depend on rice from China, and wheat from Ukraine, and lentils from Africa,” she says. Having these hubs that are growing food for the community—that is real resilience, and that is real security. And that is what I want to bring back.”Views expressed in this video are opinions of the host and the guest, and do not necessarily reflect the views of The Epoch Times

In this episode of the Medicine Girl Podcast, Robin Stebbins interviews Mollie Engelhart, a regenerative farmer and vegan survivor. Mollie is a chef, restaurateur, and farmer with a strong commitment to regenerative agriculture and sustainable food practices. She operates Sage Regenerative Kitchen and Brewery in the Los Angeles area and Sovereignty Ranch in Texas. She actively promotes the restaurant industry to switch to using ingredients from regenerative farms. Mollie believes in supporting local farmers and making conscious choices about food consumption, including responsibly sourced meat products. Mollie's previous menu options were all plant-based and the inclusion of meat options created a fire storm of backlash. Despite some initial resistance from customers, she emphasized the positive impact she hopes to have on both consumers and the farming industry through her commitment to sustainable practices. In this episode, Mollie and Robin discuss the importance of following the blueprint of Mother Nature, to always put God first and why we are not separate from nature but we are in fact nature itself. We simply need to remember ourselves in our original perfect form, perfectly imperfect always seeking health wellness and harmony. Nature can be brutal, something lives something dies, but not to stay lost in the minutia. In that light, everything has a purpose, everything is necessary. Yes, even the dreaded mosquito. Can you stretch yourself to see mosquitos as medicine? Mollie Engelhart is a trailblazer in regenerative farming and health freedom advocacy. As a mother of five, she shares her journey from running Sage Vegan Bistro to transforming it into Sage: A Regenerative Kitchen, incorporating regenerative meat and dairy while eliminating seed oils. Her dedication to natural living and providing healthy food through her regenerative farm is truly inspiring. Mollie also reveals the challenges she faced when the value of her business, once worth $25 million, took massive hits due to California lockdowns and her shift from a vegan-only restaurant. Our conversation explores the pitfalls of veganism as an ideology, the reality of death in all food processes, and the critical role of men in society. Mollie's personal stories emphasize that what we think we want is not always what's best for us. You may have heard, Mollie Engelhart's name is in the news. A second generation restaurateur, chef Mollie Engelhart leads two locations of her Sage Regenerative Kitchen in SOCAL and has opened a sprawling homesteader/hosting/hospitality business here in Texas, Sovereignty Ranch. But the internet pitchforks are out over her shift to regenerative farming.A vegetarian herself, and longtime vegan, Mollie took it upon herself to learn the intricacies of farming – a practice made familiar by her father and a life spent in the food industry. In doing so, she realized the pitfalls of veganism and the potential benefits of regenerative farming. Our conversation covers this shift in ideology – and in menu offerings – which has ignited fury among the staunch vegan community, how and why she was called to make such a change, working through protests at her restaurants, and what it could mean for her business in the future. We also talk about her experience running brick-and-mortar restaurants in the epicenter of squashed rights, the red-pill moment which led to clashes with her own staff, and our shared pull to Texas, to freedom, and the differences in bureaucracy we've seen since relocating here.Mollie is passionate and informed, a killer combo for anyone looking to shake up well-established norms and expectations. Her methods are the future, and her voice is one we'll be hearing a lot more of in the coming months and years.DISCLAIMER: This podcast is presented for educational and exploratory purposes only. “I'm a vegan restaurant owner, an organic farmer—a true environmentalist that cares about the soil, the water, and the air. I employ 350 people. I feel like I should be exactly what California wants … But I literally can't make payroll,” says Mollie Engelhart.A chef, entrepreneur, and regenerative farmer, Ms. Engelhart built an incredible farm-to-table business in California that had eleven years of year-over-year growth before the pandemic. But California's policies ultimately strangled her business, she says. Now, she's giving it all up to start from scratch in Texas.
Topsoil nutrition continues to decline, plastics in our foods are on the rise, and governments all around the world are taking too long to solve the impending crisis on the horizon. So what can we do? In this episode, regenerative farmer, mother, speaker, chef, restauranteur, producer, and writer Mollie Engelhart shares her moment of realization that food composting is key to turning this around. She believes that the hope for Earth's future falls to what we can each do individually because collective action and community can change the future. Mollie shares her expertise and passion for sustainable practices in farming and the importance of healthy eating and holistic family life. As a board member of Kiss the Ground, a nonprofit focused on regenerative agriculture, Mollie emphasizes the potential of regenerative practices in stabilizing Earth's ecosystems. Are you interested in the patches? Please email patches@thewayfwrd.com In this episode, Alec sits down with David Schmidt, the inventor of LifeWave technology and founder and CEO of LifeWave. David's experience in business and product development spans over 30 years and includes a formal education in Management Information Systems and Biology at Pace University in Pleasantville, NY. David then went on to pursue several entrepreneurial endeavors and, as a result, owned successful companies involved in manufacturing and product development. One of these companies, Advanced Applications Group, is a research and development center that specialized in energy-production technologies for both military and commercial applications. As a result of his innovations, David was presented with an honorary doctorate by Dr. Alexander Marinaccio of the International Hall of Fame of Inventors. In addition, as a result of work performed in the design of emergency oxygen systems for General Dynamics and the U.S. Navy, David was invited to participate in the Navy's next generation mini-sub program. The LifeWave Technology was born out of three years of intense research by David into the concept of being able to naturally increase energy and stamina through elevation of fat burning, utilizing wireless communication to the human body via phototherapy. Globally, David is the holder of 94 issued patents, with many more being written. More than seventy of those issued patents are in the field of regenerative science and technology. One of his inventions, the Double Helix Conductor, produces a novel blend of electromagnetic and non-electromagnetic fields to improve the speed of wound healing that rivals that of stem-cell injections. This led to David realizing that phototherapy can be a means by which a person's own stem cells can be activated into a more youthful state as opposed to requiring an injection of expensive and potentially dangerous stem cells. Hence, after ten years of study, the X39® patch was born. Are you interested in the patches? On this episode, Alec sits down with Rob Wergin, who has provided healing transformation to over 350,000 people in the last 20 years and has led large and small groups throughout the U.S. and Europe, including Agape International Spiritual Center, The Omega Institute, 1440 Multiversity, Mile High Church in Denver, and the 2019 Healing Kongress in Stuttgart. At a young age, Rob realized he was able to heal animals and communicate with spirits. Not yet understanding these gifts, he learned to ignore them. Following 30 years in corporate America, Rob received what he now calls the “Ultimate Cosmic 2 x 4.” “Diseases, discomforts, and dysfunctions of the body are actually gifts," says Rob, "gifts created by our soul and by the Divine. They are powerful gifts packaged in ways we cannot ignore…and because we cannot ignore them, we are given the opportunity to do something about them.” For more on Rob: https://robwergin.com/ For all of our links, visit: https://www.flowcode.com/page/thewayfwrd For more on The Way Forward, please visit https://thewayfwrd.com Do you run a freedom-oriented or holistic health-oriented business?
