The shocking truth about royal ‘bedding ceremonies'. Listen to find out! Royal historians Robert Hardman and Professor Kate Williams look at how royals throughout history have had their intimate bedroom moments witnessed. And that's not all! Young royals would have their bedchambers exorcised of demons, and courtiers would then cheer on the couples as they performed their royal ‘duties'. No wonder some royals suffered from performance anxiety! But which ones? Also, discover Robert Hardman's own wedding night secret - a fiasco with parallels to the extraordinary nuptials of Atilla the Hun! All will be revealed in the new season of the Daily Mail's podcast, Queens, Kings and Dastardly Things. Ephesians: Part 12, The Royal WeddingThe Book of Ephesians, written by the Apostle Paul around 60 AD to the church in Ephesus, unveils God's ultimate plan to unite everything in heaven and on earth under Christ. This letter reminds us of the spiritual blessings we have in Christ and calls us to live as one reconciled people, marked by love, peace, and strength to face spiritual battles with the armor of God. In the months leading to Easter, we'll dive into Ephesians, letting its vision of grace transform our hearts, fuel our faith, and free our souls.Teaching Text: Ephesians 5:22-33Preached by Paul Khochay

In this episode, I dive into Psalm 45 as it talks about ‘The Anointed King and His Bride'It speaks a Royal Wedding which as believers we know it ultimately points to KING JESUS.‘My heart is overflowing with a good theme; I recite my composition concerning the King; My tongue is the pen of a ready writer'.…
Before looking for Christ in Psalm 45, we explore what this wedding song meant in the life of the Israelites.

This week, A'ndre welcomes a unique guest: The Most Rev. Michael Curry, Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church. Some of our audience may recall Bishop Curry's captivating sermon during the 2018 Royal Wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. He has been an outspoken advocate on various social and political issues, discussing the Episcopal Church's role in policy advocacy amid rising toxicity in discussions about religion and politics.Bishop Curry addresses the church's unique stance on LGBTQ+ rights and reflects on the divisions within the global Anglican communion, particularly regarding Uganda's severe penalties for LGBTQ+ individuals. He also shares his perspective on the ongoing conflict in Gaza and how he approaches conversations about it, given the region's significance to the three major Abrahamic religions.A'ndre and the Bishop conclude the episode with a discussion on Christian Nationalism, where Bishop Curry offers strong critiques of the concept.

There's no way your Thursday wouldn't be complete without a fresh episode of the Real Life podcast to wrap up your week, would it? Of course not. Thankfully, the skeleton crew boys were around to give you a dose of randomness. The first thing you'll notice about the Thursday episode of Real Life is that most of the hosts didn't show up for the recording, which left Baggedmilk and Wanye to their own devices. As a result, the start of the podcast was a mix of random topics and discussions that would never have happened had Tyler been around to keep the show on the rails. Turning the conversation to the Oilers, the guys spent a little bit of time talking about Stan Bowman being hired as the team's new general manager and how the reaction to the news was as united as it was. Needless to say, the decision to bring in Bowman, given the baggage he brings with him, was certainly a bold decision by the organization. From there, Wanye wanted to talk about the royal wedding this weekend and how he cannot contain his excitement for Connor McDavid and Lauren Kyle to finally get hitched. From the outfits to the guest list to wondering if McDavid will have any fun, it's clear that Wanye has spent a lot of time thinking about this wedding. Finally, the guys wrapped up the podcast with another collection of topics that made little to no sense, but that's what happens without any adult supervision. Needless to say, if you've been a fan of Real Life for a long time, Thursday's podcast felt very much like a throwback episode to when the boys used to record at the old 1260 studios on the west end.

It is one of the great love affairs of history. Upon meeting again shortly after her 18th birthday, Victoria and Albert became smitten with each other and within 5 days Victoria asked him to marry her. Whilst initially an unpopular match, the spectacle of the Royal Wedding dispelled some of the public's misgivings about Albert. However, all was not well in the first decade of Victoria's reign. The turbulence of 1840s Europe is ripping through Victoria's nation. Listen as William and Anita discuss the first years of Victoria's reign as she deals with assassination attempts and the Irish famine.
