Feel free to reach out to me at: tarawest@westwellnessatx.com Follow me on instagram @westwellnessatxThis episode offers a comprehensive exploration of stress, framing it as a silent epidemic affecting countless individuals. Tara draws from both personal experience and scientific research to illuminate the profound effects of chronic stress on physical and mental health. The discussion begins with a candid reflection of Tara's life, revealing how stress has been a constant companion, often mistaken for normalcy in a fast-paced world. This normalization of stress is dissected, as she discusses how it can lead to a dangerous complacency, where individuals fail to recognize the serious health implications of their chronic stressors.Throughout the episode, key themes emerge, particularly the physiological consequences of stress. Tara delves into how sustained stress triggers a cascade of hormonal responses that can lead to significant health issues, including cardiovascular diseases, hormonal imbalances, and cognitive decline. The nuanced discussion highlights the often subtle symptoms of stress—like fatigue and digestive discomfort—that may be dismissed as trivial, yet are indicators of deeper physiological turmoil. The speaker emphasizes that acknowledging these symptoms is crucial for proactive health management, urging listeners to pay attention to their bodies and the signals they send.As the episode progresses, practical strategies for managing stress take center stage. Tara shares a variety of approaches, from mindfulness practices to dietary changes, highlighting the importance of a balanced lifestyle in mitigating stress effects. Recommendations also include the use of grounding techniques and infrared saunas, both of which have shown promise in scientific studies for reducing cortisol levels and promoting relaxation. By the end of the episode, listeners are equipped with not only an understanding of stress's impact but also a toolkit of strategies to improve their well-being, emphasizing that managing stress is not just a mental exercise but a comprehensive approach to health.Takeaways: Chronic stress is often normalized in our busy lives, making it crucial to recognize its negative impacts on health. Stress can manifest in subtle ways, such as low energy and mood changes, rather than obvious symptoms like anxiety. Managing stress is essential not only for mental health but also for physical resilience, including immune function. Lifestyle changes, such as nutrition, mindfulness, and social connections, can significantly alleviate stress effects. Grounding and infrared sauna therapy can effectively help lower cortisol levels and improve overall well-being. Addressing nutrient deficiencies, particularly B vitamins and magnesium, is vital for stress management.

It placed him on a journey of personal health improvement, becoming a qualified nutritionist and pursuing his passion for helping people improve their diet and health - specifically reversing Type 2 Diabetes. The future might be doomed but the 22nd century is going to be fine in "Cold Front". After that, what SHOULD be the A plot is instead relegated to the backup story about a cake in "Silent Enemy". Also that crackly mic effect is intentional vintage, not technical errors. Yeah... Also this week: no setup, no death, but we've got Uhura. Relationships are breathtaking, and as a result, many get fixated on them while single and fail to prepare themselves. But of course, we all know that excellent relationships are built. It is no news that certain things pose threats to your relationships. Too often, we focus on things like infidelity and other significant threats and neglect other silent killers like over-familiarity. Sadly, that has robbed many of the full potential of their relationship. So, in today's episode, I briefly highlighted a few things about this silent enemy called over-familiarity.

Hello hello and welcome back to home sweet home making, as always my name is Uilani Kumuhone and today's episode we are going to be talking about some pretty big things, but before we get into all of that I just want to remind you that here on the podcast if your not familiar we talk about all things as a homemaker, and no haven't talked about anything physical in the role of a homemaker yet, but we have been focusing on the spiritual, emotional and mental side of being a home maker because if your listening im sure you know and understand the hard mental and emotional work it takes to be a homemaker its so much more then cooking, cleaning and all the other fabulous things that we do every single day; so this epidote is no different we are still on our emotional, mental and spiritual journey here on the podcast and God has not since lead me into another route so I am going to continue to follow Gods lead and whatever he brings to me to talk about here on the episode I know is important for everyone including me so here we are. But I really do hope and pray that any if not all of the episodes do bring you to value and encouragement to your role as a homemaker because I know that I need these times to let loose and have really good conversations with other women who understand and know what I do and can just continue on in conversation with me because I do feel really good to just have good conversations and that's my goal here good, meaningful christ filled conversations with women (or men) like you! So thanks so much for being here! So before we jump into this awesome episode we need to first do our re-cap of the previous episode to kind of just give you guys an idea of what that was incased you missed it, or if you tuned in just remind you of our convo and maybe spark more encouragement. Re-cap of the last Ep-Tittle: E:006- The Silent Enemy in Our Lives. -Key points: Telling ourselves these beliefs that basically limit our physical ability in our everyday lives because it literally causes us to stay in the “box” that we put ourselves in. -fear (biggest trigger to a limiting belief)-1 Timothy 1:6-7:  This is why I remind you to fan into the flames the spiritual gifts God gave you when I laid my hands on you.  For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity but of power, love, and self-discipline Scriptures from today's episode: Esther 4:14Esther 5: 2-4Esther 8:3-7Isaish41:10: Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. James 1:5:  If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.  TipsPrayFilter all of your opportunities through the eyes of ChristIf you know God is calling you to ask him for the strength and wisdom to do it Isaish41:10: Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. James 1:5:  If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.  Next Episode will be on April 12,2022I pray for a wonderful week for all of us.  Hang in there because you're doing an amazing job sis again thank you so much for being here and remember to keep showing up for your purposed role as a homemaker and watch God show off in your life.  Till next time, bye…

Hello hello and welcome back to the show, If you are new to the podcast welcome, here Is where we hang out and talk stories about all kinds of stuff, lately we've been focusing on the deeper stuff that lives within our hearts or hearts as homemakers, we haven't done much like physical homemaking stuff, but I'm still settling into my new home and am definitely not ready to start talking about all of it.  But I love to talk about things that I feel will bring encouragement and clarity to our lives as homemakers, the world has grown so much and I like to keep up with the times but also I like some things of the past that I think just make sense even today.  But I hope that you enjoy the show and if you do at the end I'll tell you exactly what you need to do and how to do it.. but for now let's jump into our re-cap I just wanted to let you all know just how much I appreciate each of you and welcome to everyone who is new.Re-cap of the last Ep-Title: Words for Life-What it was about: it was basically about three very important words that I have grown to know and understand and even appreciate in my life.  One was a word for the year, the next was a word for my life and last was a word that God has spoken over me since I was a little girl.-Key points: the three words are THRIVE: the word for my year, JOY: my life word, and last PEACEMAKER: the name God has called me throughout my life.  Three tips: 1. pray2. Look back through your life and find that consistent positive thing that is you3. start looking at yourself through the lens of beauty. start finding those things for yourself that you know God has given to you, Blessed you with. As always these are not solid, must do steps to get these, these are basically what I do and what helped me to find these words that I shared above. The words that I live by and the ones that will carry me through the Course of my life.Limiting beliefs (and I found this on google on a site called Asana.) is “A state of mind or belief about yourself that restricts you in some way.”Here are some of the limiting beliefs that I could resonate with during that training. “I can't do it”“If my husband doesn't support me I can't be successful”“I can't be in business and in family, I have to pick one”1 Timothy 1:6-7:  This is why I remind you to fan into flames the spiritual gift God gave you when I laid my hands on you.  For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline (other translations  “A sound mind”)  Tips1.Pray: Ask God to help you figure out what are those limiting beliefs that you hold on to in your mind2. write them down so you can see them. And then go back into prayer and give them to God3. change the wording around and instead of saying the negative change it into a positive statement to start saying it to yourself each day4. create a daily mantra or affirmation statement to say to yourself each day it doesn't have to be fancy or perfect it just has to be where you can understand what it is.I had a great time today on the show, thank you for stopping by and spending time with me.  I know we are all busy homemakers so I really appreciate the time you spend listening to each episode. Our next episode is on March 29, 2022 If you or someone you know wants to chat with me about life insurance, annuities or extra income please feel free to email me @uikumu.php@gmail.com that is my brand new work email that I created I would love to help bring knowledge to you and your family, security in the future and an opportunity that can change your life like it is changing mine.    Till next time, bye…

Most of us do not go around talking about fears we battle, but fear is a silent enemy that whispers in our ears way too often. Fear is doubt and unbelief and doubt and unbelief is not trusting God. We were created to trust and walk with God. God created us to be courageous because we are made in his image. This podcast will discuss various fears that rob us. Insecurities, rejection, fear of failure are just some of the things God has come to set us free from and we need to treat them like someone that is trespassing.

What happens in the homestays in the home. We were taught not to speak about things that may embarrass our families. When we do that, we are perpetuating the cycle and allowing it to continue. Women who were survivors of domestic violence and abuse were drawn to her because of her book. After so many came to her, she decided to make a documentary about domestic violence. How do you move from "I can't do anything" to "I must do something"? 1) Take the energy that makes you want to help and transfer it into something that will make a difference for someone. She shared her idea and people started to put her in contact with others who could help her with the project. Then, she asked for funding for the project even at a time that she thought people had no money to help. 2) If you have an idea, go ahead and start working on it because you do not know who is waiting to help you build your dream. Hailing from the Blue Mountains, Red Bee are a dedicated hard rock outfit that have already tasted success with previous albums Ictus and Silent Enemy. They return in 2020 with a new ethos and renewed vigour, starting with the first of three planned singles, "Killing Time".Guitarist/Vocalist Daniel Silk sat down with HEAVY to talk about the ripper new song plus other happenings from the Red Bee camp."It's a little bit more of a hard rock song compared to what we've released in the past," he measured of 'Killing Time'. "We're really proud of it. It came quite naturally the writing of that song which is good. It was one of those songs that was written quite quickly and was there in our heads - we just had to find it (laughs). The whole intro and stuff was written in one go. A lot of those songs sometimes that come real easy like that make me feel like I'm cheating (laughs). We're happy with it and it was just a case of getting it into the band room and making it better. The boys put their spin on it as well."In the full interview, Dan talks us through the subject matter of the song and the inspiration behind it, the easter eggs within the film clip, filming in the blue mountains, future new releases, the idea of releasing singles rather than albums in the modern climate and more.

Having graduated from a Russian conservatory and begun touring Europe at the age of 12, Kurzhene found his voice in New York City’s vaudeville circuit, where he would express the supernatural and demonic through his violin. He went on to score the all-Ojibwe cast film, The Silent Enemy, as well as recording his own arrangements of multi-cultural religious musics for CBS. While little is known of the last 50 years of Kurzhen’s life, this episode offers the most exhaustive information available on this completely forgotten American artist. Salutations and solidarity, everybody! Apart from the philosophy, phasers and awesome geeky tech, one of the best things about Star Trek is its characters. From Kirk and Spock to Worf, Picard and Khan, the Trekverse is filled with some of the best characters in any quadrant, and they can often be the difference between a filler and a fantastic episode. This week in Episode 12, Silent Enemy, the focus is on one of the quieter Enterprise characters, Malcolm Reed. It would be fair to say of all the crew members that we have met so far, Reed is one we know the least about, and we’re not the only ones. Because when Hoshi is assigned to prepare a tasty treat for Reed’s upcoming birthday, she can’t find anyone, including Reed’s own family that knows what he likes. Report to the bridge of the U.S.S. Essential Enterprise Season One.    In every season of every Star Trek show, there are some episodes that stand out more than others — but which ones are essential to their respective shows as a whole? We begin a new four-part series where we look at each episode of each season and determine if they are essential to the overall narrative of the show. In this episode of Warp Five, host Brandon-Shea Mutala is joined by Richard Marquez of Earl Grey and Brandi Jackola of Live From the Edge to analyze the first season of Enterprise and select the absolutely essential episodes that they feel you must watch. Confused? You may have noticed this is not the next production or release episode. We finally hit that point where the idea behind this podcast takes shape, though in an odd way. This episode, despite being released as 01x12, is next in chronological order. Following Fortunate Son (01x10) and preceding Cold Front (01x11). An oversight by the writers? Who knows, it's canon now. After getting pushed into the mud a few too many times by an unidentified ship, Archer realizes incredibly ineffective weapon systems just aren't going to cut it and orders the Enterprise to return to Jupiter Station for some much needed upgrades. Meanwhile Hoshi bakes a cake. Everyone but Joe hates Reed during this recording. I don't know why they're so mean. Silent Enemy. Most aliens in Star Trek are presented in terms that the human mind can understand. The Klingons, the Romulans, even the Borg. We can make sense of their actions and motives. But in reality, new life that we meet out in space will have a lot less in common with us. Enterprise attempted to address this truth midway through its first season in “Silent Enemy,” which pitted our crew against beings that only CGI could create—and who never spoke a word. In this episode of The Ready Room, we're joined by Zachary Fruhling, Brandon-Shea Mutala, and Dennis Castello to discuss this episode that includes not an alien mystery, but also a culinary one. Join us as we talk about the true nature of Malcolm Reed, Captain Archer's decision to tuck tail and run, the real reason the Enterprise needed phase cannons to be installed, and, of course, the infamous B-story: the search for Malcolm's favorite food. In our news segment, we discuss a new collection of the classic James Blish TOS novelizations, the results of the Strange New Worlds short story contest, and Simon Pegg's thoughts on the foundation of Star Trek. Enterprise Season One: Making New Friends. How do you know when you may be in over your head? In Season One, it didn't take long for the NX-01 crew to find themselves exposed to situations and troubles they had never considered. Simple acts like visiting a monastery, exploring a pre-warp society, or simply saying "Hello!" quickly showed the crew that they may not be as prepared for the unknown as they thought. In this episode of Warp Five, hosts Floyd Dorsey and Jeffrey Harlan are joined by Norman C. Lao as they cover the themes found in the second quarter of Enterprise's freshman season. Listen in as they talk about what happens when you step in the middle of a centuries-old political argument, finally find an inhabited M-class planet, try to bring some order to the frontier, and find out the guy who brings you your eggs actually knows a whole lot more about you than you thought. There's a silent enemy at work in the civil war in Syria and it's threatening the lives of young children. The war has placed the country's health system under intense pressure and in certain areas vaccination programmes against a range of preventable diseases have not taken place. In October 2013 the Syrian Ministry of Health verified the first polio case in 15 years. Now there are 25 laboratory confirmed cases in the country with another 13 confirmations pending. With the huge movement of populations across regional borders there are fears that polio, along with other infectious diseases, is spreading. In March UNICEF announced a massive polio vaccination campaign for the whole region. For Crossing Continents Tim Whewell travels to the Turkish border and to Lebanon to talk to the doctors and health care workers struggling to cope with a growing crisis.
