Swiatek imponerade enormt! Och Struff borde ha vunnit hela skiten! Nu byter vi till gräs. Och mycket mer. God lyssning. Hosted on Acast. Cancellotti, Cané, Pescosolido, Nargiso, Camporese e Claudio Pistolesi.

CARLOS ALCARAZ ON PLAYING ON GRASS - 'You know for me it's great because I just have to focus on the movement and not on my style. If I move well I think it's going to be great. I used to watch Federer on grass, I watched videos because you want to be like Federer, but it's impossible, but he is my role model on grass. The elegance that he hits the shots that he plays, he moved really well and made the tennis on grass easy'.HOLGER RUNE ON DREAMING ABOUT PLAYING AT WIMBLEDON - ‘I have always dreamt about winning this tournament and I think one day it will suit me well. I like to play aggressive and come forward to the net, which in theory should work well on the grass, but I want to be happy and not too stressed when I play and it's very important to stay positive'.MATE PAVIC ON FOLLOWING IN GORAN IVANISEVIC'S FOOTSTEPS - ‘We all grew up in Croatia on Goran's Wimbledon in 2001 and that kind of sticks to you that Wimbledon is there, that's Wimbledon and everything else is down, you want to win it since you were a kid, you're dreaming of it since a kid and it's a special feeling'.TIM HENMAN ON THE CHANGE HE WOULD MAKE TO THE GRASS SEASON - ‘If I could change one thing in the sport it would be the variation of surfaces. I think we've got too uniform, so I would make grass a little quicker. It was becoming a bit or a serving competition when I was playing and was that appealing, but the level of tennis these days is phenomenal, but it's too one dimensional'.STEFANOS TSITSIPAS ON THE THREAT NICK KYRGIOS POSES - ‘You know Nick Kyrgios is a threat because on a good day he can play great tennis, he doesn't play all year and then just shows up on one tournament on grass, serves big and plays like he has nothing to lose, so he is a very tricky opponent to play against'.STEFAN EDBERG ON HIS EARLY MEMORIES OF WIMBLEDON - ‘I can still remember the time when I first got to Wimbledon in 1983, when you walk on top of that hill, you actually see Wimbledon, just the site, seeing Wimbledon in front of you was the thing that you dreamt about going to one day'.- Show presented by Chris Bowers- Podcast guest Jill Craybas- Interviews by Richard Connelly, Seb Lauzier, Chris Bowers and Jill Craybas- Edberg & Wilander feature by ATP Uncovered

Welcome to Season 10, Episode 2, of the ParentingAces Podcast! This week, we're talking Tennis Tech with one of the masterminds behind the latest wearable tennis technology, Cameron Lickle. To watch the video version of this episode, go to https://youtu.be/xMg8ym_GPqk. Cam Lickle grew up playing tennis, went on to play for the US Naval Academy then fulfilled his military commitment as an integral member of Operation IRAQI and Operation ENDURING FREEDOM. He went on to the professional tennis circuit before finding his passion for creating unique products and services in the tennis space. In 2009, Cam went into business with former World #1 Mats Wilander with their Wilander on Wheels instructional tour. From there, Cam continued working with Mats as well as Alain and Marc Cohen to develop NeuroTennis. Two key differences make this wearable technology so different from other smart tennis devices on the market.  “One major difference is that NeuroTennis coaches you while you play,” said NeuroTennis CEO, Alain Cohen. “Other tennis trackers just report statistics on speed, spin, and stroke counts, without much actionable information. NeuroTennis, on the other hand, provides coaching instructions that are synchronized with the rhythm of your hitting, as you play. Cohen stated the second revolutionary aspect of the technology is that it wirelessly connects the wristbands of two players across the court, in order to pinpoint the timing of audible coaching instructions, precisely when your opponent hits the ball. Former world No. 1 Mats Wilander was an integral part of designing NeuroTennis. “To reach the next level, I believe in modifying your game and not just measuring it,” Wilander said. “I believe that to reach your full potential, you need to train your brain just as hard as your skills and fitness.” Features and benefits of NeuroTennis include: • Two player or solo mode - NeuroTennis is most typically used in a two-player mode, meaning that the sensors in each device communicate with each other, across the court. • NeuroTennnis App - The feature-rich app allows you to select lessons and drills from an extensive library designed by world-class coaches, including Mats Wilander. Taking it to the next level, you or your coach can easily customize content to specifically address your goals. Available for iPhone and Android. • Game Modifying Technology™ - While other wearable tennis products just measure physical results, like speed and spin, NeuroTennis is about ingraining better habits and accessing your tennis skills consistently so you can raise your game while you practice. Training at higher levels leads to playing at higher levels. NeuroTennis is available now at NeuroTennis.com and sells as a pair for $329. Listen above as Karl Budge joins D'Arcy and Goran to discuss the signing of Denis Shapovalov for the ASB Men's Classic next year.ASB Classic organisers have confirmed they've secured one of the hottest signatures on the ATP tour, teen tennis prodigy Denis Shapovalov. The 19-year old Canadian sensation is continuing to make an impression on the ATP tour, his explosive style of play propelling him up the rankings, seeing him reach a high of world number 23 in June, becoming the youngest player to be ranked in the Top 25 since Richard Gasquet in 2005.It's this form that saw him named the 2017 ATP Star of Tomorrow, being the youngest player to finish in the Top 100 after a season which saw him beating world number 1 Rafael Nadal and Juan Martin del Potro to reach the semi-final of the Montreal Masters.During his maiden year on the ATP tour, Shapovalov became the youngest quarter-finalist and semi-finalist ever an ATP Masters 1000 event, eclipsing the likes of Nadal, Federer and Djokovic.Known as one of the most energetic and exciting players on the Tour, Shapovalov is excited to be returning to Auckland after enjoying his first visit to the ASB Classic earlier this year."It's is a great tournament and I'm looking forward to being back. The fans were incredible last year and it's so much fun - I can't wait to get back on to centre court.""Auckland is awesome. I jumped off the Sky Tower when I was there last time. I'm not sure what I'll do on this visit but I'm sure I'll find something fun."ASB Classic Tournament Director Karl Budge is thrilled to have Shapovalov return to the ASB Classic for a second year in a row."We got a taste of what Shapovalov can deliver this year and we can't wait to see more. There is no question he is a star of the future, and he's delivering some big matches right now. He's so athletic and dynamic, just so exciting to watch on court.""The ASB Classic has a reputation for showcasing the next generation of talent – Nadal, Federer, Wozniacki and Murray have all played here early in their careers. We gave Naomi Osaka a wild card in 2017, and Jelena Ostapenko made her name in Auckland before winning Roland Garros. We're certain that Shapovalov is going to be another name to add to this list" continued Budge. And some big names in tennis agree with tennis legend Pete Sampras believing Shapovalov will become a top two player, whilst seven-time Grand Slam Champion Mats Wilander compared him to two of the games greats."He is a serious talent. To be 100 per cent honest, you cannot compare Shapovalov to any other youngster. He is a completely different level. It's like watching a combination of [Rafael] Nadal and [Roger] Federer at 18 years old. He has the fire of Nadal and the speed around the court of Nadal and he has the grace of Federer. It's unbelievable" said Wilander.

It was midway through recording of the latest Tennis Podcast that presenters Catherine Whitaker and David Law received a message from the Telegraph’s tennis correspondent Simon Briggs which detailed his story about Andre Agassi being a potential coach for Novak Djokovic.Djokovic had cleared out virtually all of his support team in one go last week, and the podcast’s attentions immediately turned to who might replace him. Could it be Pete Sampras, the 14-time Grand Slam champion that Djokovic idolised as a boy? Maybe Mats Wilander? Or perhaps a non-playing established coach? Or maybe he would just play without a coach for a while. Then, the Agassi story landed at Tennis Podcast HQ, and the debate intensified still further. The results of the past week are discussed, there’s a preview of Madrid, the appalling social media abuse of Gael Monfils is detailed, and the team give their impressions of Tie Break Tens, the new short format of the game that... In a display of serve-volleying and chip-charging that had John McEnroe and Pat Cash drooling, Misha Zverev dumped Andy Murray out of the Australian Open in the last 16. Catherine Whitaker and David Law recorded the Day 7 Tennis Podcast in front of the Australian Open big screen during the final set of Roger Federer vs. Kei Nishikori, but it was the loss of Murray that was the headline news. How did Zverev do it? They discuss it, we hear from Mats Wilander, and the man himself. What, if anything, was wrong with Andy Murray? Federer finally found a way past Nishikori, and must be fancying his chances after the demise of Murray and Djokovic. First though, he needs to stop Zverev in the quarterfinals. Dan Evans’ Australian odyssey came to an end, and on the women’s side, Venus Williams kept on rolling, as did David’s pick for the title - Garbine Muguruza. And, in a moment that earned David's respect, Catherine tried a Brummie accent ... There will be daily editions of The Tennis Podcast throughout the... The roof was given a thorough work-out after the mother of all rain storms on Thursday, and Andy Murray passed his own stern examination in match that was closer than the straight-sets score suggested.  The Tennis Podcast convened to discuss his progress, marvel at a fantastic win for Dan Evans and narrow defeat for Naomi Broadway, and to work out whether the additional ambient noise with the roof on Arthur Ashe Stadium is likely to become an issue. We also hear an interview that Tennis Podcast presenter David Law did with Mats Wilander for BBC Radio 5 Live. In it, Wilander recalls when he won three Grand Slams in a year in 1988, and how and why he was unable to repeat the feat the following year.  The Tennis Podcast is produced in association with Telegraph Sport.
