Welcome to the #ShareYourHotness Podcast episode 158! Richard Davidson (Alkalarian) 1st * Keynote Speaker, Author, Heart Attack Prevention Advisor, Retired U.S. Navy Diver, CLO (Chief Longevity Officer), I Walk My Talk Richard Davidson was born in 1941 and raised in Salt Lake City, UT. His life journey has been nothing short of extraordinary, marked by a remarkable career in the U.S. Navy and a passion for promoting his own health and wellness through the concept of “Alkalinity”. In 1959, Richard enlisted in the U.S. Navy and demonstrated exceptional dedication and skill, achieving the prestigious rank of Master Chief Petty Officer (MCPO) and Chief Warrant Officer within 10 years. He acquired diving expertise in Para-SCUBA, Mixed Gas, and Hard Hat Diving, as well as qualifying as a Master Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Technician. After a distinguished service of 20 years, he retired from the Navy in 1982 as a Chief Warrant Officer (CWO4). Richard's entrepreneurial spirit led him to own a Sir Speedy Printing Center and as a Book Publisher from 1991 to 1996. During this period, he collaborated with over 700 authors, contributing significantly to the literary landscape. In 1999, Richard became an Associate at the Salt Lake City "Water and Wellness Center," where his journey towards advocating alkaline water and wellness began. Inspired by influential works such as "Alkalize or Die" (1992) by Dr. Theodore A. Baroody and "The pH Miracle" (2002) by Dr. Robert O. Young. Basically, Richard started the "Alkalinity Movement" in 2002. His dedication to promoting alkaline mineral water led to its introduction at the Water and Wellness Center in 2004. In 2007, Richard embarked on a 4-year sabbatical in Missouri, where he immersed himself in learning Dr. Mayr's 100-year-old natural wellness program. His commitment to health took a personal turn in 2009 when he experienced a "Massive Heart Attack." Recognizing the symptoms, he acted swiftly, and due to his active Alkalarian lifestyle, he underwent a successful recovery without any side effects. Richard's passion for educating others about the “alkaline” concept saw him conducting live classes from 2011 to 2015, and virtual classes from 2018 to present, spreading up-to-date awareness about the potential benefits of maintaining a balanced body pH level. Continuing his pursuit of knowledge, Richard explored works like “The Acid Alkaline Food Guide” by Dr Susan E. Brown (2004), "The Alkaline Cure" by Dr. Stephen Domenig (2014) and "Get Off Your Acid" by Dr. Daryl Gioffre (2018), further solidifying his expertise in the field. Richard's passion for wellness and advocacy for the Alkalarian lifestyle led him to establish the "Alkaline Club of America," aiming to certify one million "Alkalarian" individuals. He is currently dedicated to the "Heart Attack Prevention" business, resolute in his mission to save lives and prevent heart-related health issues. With his first book set to be released in 2025, Richard's influence is poised to grow even further. His journey will culminate in a possible TEDx talk and a promising professional speaking career. Richard is associated with influential figures like Jack Canfield, author of "Chicken Soup for the Soul," and actively participates in the National Speakers Association (NSA) Mountain West Chapter, alongside esteemed individuals and worldwide speakers, like Dan Clark and Kathy Loveless. For those seeking to embrace a healthier lifestyle through alkalinity, Richard Davidson is a trustworthy guide. Most of us are also probably aware of how our digestion is sadly lacking in this day and age, and many people with acid issues end up with gastric and digestive health issues. But Dr. Susan gives us some key solutions for this dilemma. Dr. Susan also discusses how our water may not be so balancing after all. Taking the European model that I'm so familiar with, she discusses how, in the United States, even that which holds itself out to be “mineral water” really does contain exactly what we need. Dr. Susan gives us some solutions for this. Health Mysteries Solved

The Case:  Elody is not feeling well. She has aches and pains as well as digestive issues. She also has dull hair and skin.  She read about the benefits of an alkaline diet and started taking baking soda and drinking alkalized water but it made her feel worse.    The Investigation There are many studies that support having a more alkaline diet and encourage people to support this diet with sodium bicarbonate. On the surface, it might seem like a good idea. I suspected Elody was on the right track trying to adjust her pH levels but I also knew the mystery ran a bit deeper than that.  To fully understand the intricacies of finding the perfect internal pH balance, I’m excited to welcome one of the most respected experts on the topic.  Dr. Russell Jaffe has been searching for answers in health care (not sick-care) for the past 30 years. In his global search for insights, he’s developed a deep understanding of the importance of measuring and correcting the body’s pH levels.    The Role of pH in Health The body’s pH levels are reflected in the venous and arterial blood, and in the cells themselves. The range of pH is broad (0-12) but the healthy human range is just on the alkaline side of neutral. A chance in pH by as little as 1/100 of a pH unit can have a profound effect on human health. So, even tiny changes in pH can result in significant shifts in how well we feel. Staying inside the healthy pH range is getting harder and harder in our modern culture.  Does Taking Baking Soda Help Your pH Levels (by Increasing Alkaline Levels)? Dr. Jaffe says the science makes sense but in practice, this is a silly approach. Taking bicarbonate, sodium bicarbonate, or potassium bicarbonate will disrupt the natural (and necessary) acidity of the stomach. This can lead to serious digestive issues.    The Healthy Way to Alkalize the Body  Dr. Jaffe explains that the only way to biologically alkalize the body is to: Take in minerals, particularly magnesium and  potassium in ways that  the body can absorb and retain Reduce the metabolic acid production by reducing toxin exposure, reducing stress (and distress) levels, and improving your nutritional competence.    Symptoms of Low pH Levels There are a variety of symptoms that could indicate a low pH (below 6.5) including feeling stressed out, hopeless, or helpless. Fatigue, dehydration, and poor digestion can also be symptoms. Even a desire to drink alcohol can be an indication of a low body pH.    Symptoms of High pH Levels Being over-alkaline has negative health effects too. Being in this state for an extended time is called catabolic illness. In this state, the body starts to use amino acids for energy which means the body starters to break down lean muscle to use as fuel. This produces extra ammonia which ends up in the urine. This stress-related disorder is reversible if you are proactive in restoring the neural hormonal immune defence and repair, and digestive competencies that have been eroded.    Testing Your pH Levels It can be difficult to tell if you’re pH is out of balance (too acidic or too alkaline) without testing. Testing does not require a lab. Dr. Jaffe suggests doing a daily pH level test first thing in the morning and keeping a log to track your balance. The test is a urine test that can be done at home. Dr. Jaffe recommends testing your first urination of the day by peeing on a pH paper strip or dipping the strip in a clean cup of urine.  The strip will change color. If you have an excess of metabolic acids, your pH will be below 6.5 and the strip will turn a sandy-red. If you are in optimal range (6.5-7.5) the strip will turn green. If you are above 7.5 consistently, you may have catabolic illness which should be addressed.  Dr. Jaffe recommends using the 5.5-8 range strips because that’s the biological pH paper.    Restoring the pH Balance The best way to reset the body’s pH levels is through diet. Here is a chart that identifies foods that can help shift the balance. While alkaline water may seem like an easy and healthy way to increase alkalinity, Dr. Jaffe says that food is a better choice. Select foods that you can digest, assimilate, and eliminate without immune burden. And, support your diet with magnesium.    The Role of Magnesium in Balancing Cellular Acidity and Alkalinity Magnesium is a mineral that amplifies hormonal signals. It is required by the body to balance out calcium, maintain healthy alkaline levels, and keep the mitochondria battery charged up (which is necessary for cells to process optimally). Almost all Americans have a relative excess of calcium and an absolute deficiency of magnesium.     How Much Magnesium Should You Take? There are a variety of different supplements on the market that all say ‘magnesium’. Some have so little bioavailable magnesium that they are not worth taking. Dr. Jaffe recommends taking a good quality magnesium (225 milligrams) along with a teaspoon (1300 milligrams) of choline citrate 2 - 5 times per day. He doesn’t recommend doubling the dosage and taking it fewer times a day as you will hit your maximum threshold.    Mystery Solved The first thing I did for Elody was to stop the baking soda and alkaline water. We also shifted her diet to be more alkaline by lowering the heavy meats and starches and added in more green veggies (avoiding spinach). And, we made sure to keep her diet clean and move away from processed foods.     A hair analysis revealed that her magnesium was low and the morning urine testing showed that he pH was too acidic. After 4 weeks, she started to feel better so we added 450 mg of magnesium buffered chelate per day in divided doses and she took that with choline citrate like Dr. Jaffe spoke about.  It took another 4 weeks for her to see a difference in her urine strips but then they finally shifted from a more yellowish to a greenish color which is where we want to be. At that point, she really started to notice a difference. Her energy was better, her stomach stopped hurting and her skin had a new found glow.   Next Steps  We still needed to support her gut because while her stomach aches were better, she still had gas, bloating, and irregular bowel movements. We did a stool test and saw some bacterial overgrowth and also low stomach acid. We supported her gut biome with GI MicrobX and Micro-Gone along with Tricycline to kill off the bugs and used Betaine HCL to help balance her stomach acid.    Happy Ending After the stomach cleanse and support, her digestion improved even more. She no longer felt gassy and bloated and her bowel movements were much more regular. She and I were both thrilled.   Eliminating Health Mysteries For Elody we were able to find that missing piece of the health puzzle and help her regain her health. Importance of Balanced pH in the Body   What is pH balance? Your body’s pH balance, also referred to as its acid-base balance, is the level of acids and bases in your blood at which your body functions best.   The human body is built to naturally maintain a healthy balance of acidity and alkalinity. The lungs and kidneys play a key role in this process. A normal blood pH level is 7.40 on a scale of 0 to 14, where 0 is the most acidic and 14 is the most basic. This value can vary slightly in either direction.   If the lungs or kidneys are malfunctioning, your blood’s pH level can become imbalanced. Disruption in your acid-base balance can lead to medical conditions known as acidosis and alkalosis. Both conditions require treatment from a medical professional, not simply dietary changes.   Different fluids are found inside the human body. The cells inside the body are often affected by the ph level.   If you experience stress, tiredness, excess weight, fatigue, aches, pains, poor digestion, and other serious disorders, the ph level inside your body may be too acidic.   The three things that might contribute more to the body to become overly acidic are ingesting acids, creation of acids, and improper acid elimination.   Role of pH in Everyday Life   Digestive system Hydrochloric Acid – produced in stomach and helps digestion of food without causing any harm to the stomach. If it gets too high there is pain and irritation in the stomach. Acids Cause Tooth Decay Sugar is degraded by bacteria in the mouth and acid is formed. When the pH is lower than 5.5 tooth enamel is corroded. Our saliva is slightly alkaline, so it helps neutralize some acid. Acid is Produced in Fatigued Muscles As a result of physical exercise, stiffness and pain in the muscles starts due to the formation of lactic acid. This reduces the oxygen supply in your muscle.   Foods to Help Balance Your pH Ingesting foods which are considered acidifying foods as dairy, processed sugar, meat, alcohol, coffee, etc. overloads the ability of your body to neutralize all the acids.   If you want to obtain a well-balanced ph, you must have a proper diet and nutrition. It is wise to follow a detox plan which can greatly help the detox process. A diet consisting of foods high in alkaline, proper supplementation, and hydrating the body properly can aid the body in detox.   Alkaline Veggies to Add to Your Diet If you have a condition that requires you to watch the alkaline and acid levels of your food, then you will be curious about which alkaline veggies you can add to your diet. Here are some of the best options for you.   Cauliflower You first vegetable option is probably one you already eat on a regular basis, which is good news! This makes it a lot easier to add to your current diet, and still be on the alkaline diet your doctor recommends.   This interesting vegetable is highly anti-inflammatory and provides a good amount of choline which is an important B vitamin for brain health. It is also an excellent source of antioxidants and phytonutrients which give the body a better chance at fighting free radicals. Cauliflower also helps cardiovascular health because of the agent sulforaphane which promotes proper cell formation of the veins and arteries. Another excellent thing about cauliflower is that it is often used in low-carb diets, so if this is something you need to watch out for, this is a great low-starch vegetable.   Radishes Your next option is to add more radishes to your current diet, as they are also very alkaline vegetables. Radishes are known to have a cooling effect on the body, and was used by ancient Chinese doctors to help people deal with heat during hot weather.   They’re also diuretic and help the body to flush toxins by passing them into urine and out of the body. They are high in vitamin C and other trace minerals.   Lettuce Along with its alkalinity, lettuce provides a lot of the important trace minerals. These include phosphorous, calcium, iron, potassium, sodium, zinc, magnesium, and the vitamins vitamin B6, vitamin K, riboflavin, niacin, folate, Vitamin C, and Vitamin A.   Studies have also found that lettuce contains chemicals that help to improve mood and can help to regulate anxiety. It is so easy to eat more lettuce, making this at the top of the list. You can add lettuce to sandwiches or burgers, make wraps with lettuce, have salads, and even add it to your pasta or casseroles.   Carrot A high fiber vegetable, carrot is well known for its starchy fibrous body. It is high in pantothenic acid, folate, potassium, iron, copper, and manganese, and has excellent antioxidant properties.   They have long been associated with the improvement of eyesight, and studies have shown that carrots can prevent some forms of muscular degeneration that are common as humans age.   Green Beans More than just a staple food for some cultures, green beans are another highly antioxidant and anti-inflammatory food with great health benefits.   Green beans have been found to be effective at reducing risks associated with heart disease. This is believed to be due to the high number of flavonoids. Green beans are also a major source of antioxidants. Since many people get green beans in the can, it is best you choose fresh or frozen varieties. If you do need them canned, get the no salt added variety, and give them a good rinse just to be sure you don’t have extra sodium.   Celery Celery is a heavily fibrous plant that has its roots deep in history as an anti-high blood pressure medicine. It is highly anti-inflammatory and powerful antioxidant properties.   Celery also contains quite a few trace minerals and vitamins. Another amazing effect of celery is its ability to stimulate liver functions. It does this by helping the liver to produce liver cleansing enzymes. It can help you to both lower your cholesterol, and to fight microbial infections in the body. Celery juice has also become very popular lately. You can get a juicer and use stalks of celery to make juice with celery alone. It has such a high water content, that it won’t take quite as much as other vegetables would for a similar juice.     Here are some of the top alkaline fruits to consider adding to your diet.   Coconut This hard-shelled fruit is packed with a ton of benefits. Coconut has a history of improving skin by aiding elasticity and fighting oxidative stress. It is also great for your immune system, because it has a large amount of antiparasitic and antimicrobial properties. Coconut can also help to improve digestion of food, and make it easier for the body to absorb valuable nutrients One of the best attributes of coconut is that it can even help regulate insulin, which can help to prevent diabetes.     Papaya Papaya Is a tropical fruit. This fruit is widely known for its ability to aid in calming the stomach and reducing the production of stomach acids. This can help to massively improve digestion. It’s full of vitamins B, and C and is heavily antioxidant, which fights free radicals that cause cancer.   Bananas This yellow tree fruit is packed with great carbs and vitamins. Even though it contains a healthy dose of nutrition, it still has less than 120 calories. Eating a banana won’t spike your blood sugar, and they are absorbed quickly. They are very high in fiber, can help you to have proper elimination, and are very filling. This absorption and high fiber will make you to feel more satisfied and fuller. Bananas also have a positive effect on moods and can help you to relax and be able to sleep better.   Avocado Avocado is among the most popular for use as a condiment, topping, or filling. One thing few people know is that they are higher in potassium than the average banana.   They are also high in fiber and can help to lower your cholesterol. They contain massive amounts of vitamins and minerals that help to nourish the body as well. Plus, who doesn’t love avocado? This is an amazing healthy fat that is approved in the majority of diets and can fill you up in between meals. It works great in smoothies, to have as a snack, top salads, or add to sandwiches. There are endless ways to use more avocados if you are looking to have more alkaline fruits in your daily diet.     Grapefruit This larger citrus fruit can help with cholesterol levels, and greatly impacts lipid levels.   Grapefruit is associated with weight loss because of its effect on fats in the body and is full of vitamins like Vitamin C. It can also help to erode build ups of calcium like the calcium found in painful kidney stones. It is also popular to use as a late-night snack instead of eating carb filled junk foods.   Lemon Lemon juice is a great way to stimulate action in the liver because it contains uric acid, which breaks down a number of toxins in the body.   Lemon is also effective at dissolving kidney stones and can help to improve digestion. If you were to consume at least a glass of lemon juice a day, the acids can stimulate your intestines to create a bowel movement, and the juice can help to dissolve various substances that form plaque on the intestinal walls. The great thing about lemon is how versatile it is, and how easy it is to have more of it. For example, if you are looking to develop a new daily routine for your health, you can start each day with a full glass of lemon water. Just slice up lemon and add it to a glass, or you can even prepare a pitcher of lemon water the night before, then just pour it in the cup the next morning.   Cherries Cherries are an amazing natural source of melatonin which is a hormone produced by your pineal gland.   Science has discovered that eating cherries or drinking cherry juice can greatly help you to stay asleep for longer periods. Melatonin is also an antioxidant that can help to combat free radicals. Cherries are also full of powerful naturally occurring anti-inflammatory chemicals. If you are a fan of smoothies, cherries make a wonderful addition to your favorite recipes. Cherries have just the right amount of sweetness, so you can add just a few of them to your smoothie and it will be sweeter, even if the smoothie is a green smoothie with lots of greens.     RESOURCES Acid Bases & Salts http://www.knowledgeuniverseonline.com/ntse/Chemistry/role-pH-everyday-life.php   pH Imbalance: How Your Body Maintains Acid-Base Balance https://www.healthline.com/health/ph-imbalance   The pH Scale https://courses.lumenlearning.com/wmopen-nmbiology1/chapter/the-ph-scale/   Daily Detoxx https://shop.organixx.com/products/organic-daily-detox?gl=5ebaaf588ebf585f704f8dca   OrganiGreens https://organixx.com/organic-organigreens/?gl=5d88e1ef02e26ba82c380838   Subscribe to Empowering You Organically

Call 1-540-299-1557 with your questions about Keto, Intermittent Fasting, or the use of Dr. Berg products. Consultants are available Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 10 PM EST. Saturday & Sunday from 9 AM to 6 PM EST. USA Only. Take Dr. Berg's Free Keto Mini-Course! Today we're going to talk about how to help decrease uric acid in the body. We're also going to talk about some of the conflicting information that revolves around that topic. Uric acid is formed when it's trying to breakdown purine, which is another compound found in foods. It's mainly found in organ meats and meats but, it's in certain vegetables as well. Uric acid can act as an antioxidant in the body, and that's one of the reasons it may elevate when you're doing fasting—as a way to enhance your immune system. When the pH of your urine becomes too acidic, this uric acid can leak out into the joints and cause gout. It can also leak into the kidneys causing uric acid kidney stones. Ways to control uric acid levels: 1. Alkalize the body You can try: • Consuming potassium citrate • Consuming more alkaline vegetables • Taking baking soda • Taking other alkalizing minerals like magnesium and calcium 2. Apple cider vinegar 3. Vitamin C (from lemons or lemon juice) 4. Reduce glucose and fructose Uric acid food to avoid: • Organ meats • Sardines • Asparagus • Spinach • Green peas • Cauliflower Dr. Eric Berg DC Bio: Dr. Berg, 51 years of age is a chiropractor who specializes in weight loss through nutritional & natural methods. Saturday & Sunday 9 am to 5 pm EST. USA Only. Live Right Now - Episode 007 – Acidity and Inflamation After presenting my Eat Right Now program to a vibrant senior living community, I walked outside and observed two sweet ladies walking together, each carrying large bottles of Bragg’s Apple Cider. “May I help?” They politely declined, stating if not for the amber liquid, they’d be wracked with arthritis, unable to tend their garden. Both were 90 and claimed drinking this particular brand of ‘living’ vinegar was miraculous. Hippocrates, the father of medicine, considered raw vinegar a powerful elixir and used the “mother” to fight common germs. For thousands of years, apple cider vinegar (ACV) has been commonly recognized as the most effective natural remedy for arthritis that can cause chronic inflammation, pain, and stiffness in the fingers, hands, knees, elbows, hips, jaw, and all joints in the temple. It cannot be cured, but you can get sweet relief. 21 Century America is malnourished and acidic: ripe for a host of diseases. Mineral deficiencies exacerbate joint pain. ACV contains the calcium, magnesium, potassium, and phosphorus your temple needs to dull that pain. Plus, magnesium helps bones absorb calcium, which is essential to bone strength. Acidity is also linked to cancer. The book, “Alkalize or die,” supports ACV to have an alkalizing effect on your blood and urine. Even though ACV is acidic, its structure changes to alkaline through the digestive processes. disease thrives in an acidic environment, therefore eating a diet high in alkaline foods is important. Acidic foods like ACV, lemon juice, baking soda, and raw honey are surprisingly alkaline forming. Refined sugar, processed carbs, dairy, and meat create an acidic environment in our temples. Still considered whacko hokum by many conventional doctors, Naturopaths regard your blood’s pH level an important measure of health. Research confirms the use of urine pH as an indicator of the dietary acid-alkaline load. If your level is too acidic, and your arthritis is screaming, diet modifications are in order.  pH strips can be purchased at the pharmacy. You are an amazing miracle. Express gratitude by activating your inner healer.  Alkalizing Apple Cider Vinegar beverage: Mix 2 tbsp. Braggs ‘living’ apple cider vinegar into 8 ounces warm, not hot water. Add juice of ½ fresh lemon (NOT bottled juice) ½ tsp. baking powder Drink 2 X daily, preferably on an empty stomach before meals. To tweak flavor, add raw (most supermarket “honey” is not honey, but an ultra-filtered deceiver, frequently containing high fructose corn syrup)   Nearly 53 million adults have doctor-diagnosed arthritis; that number is expected to grow to 67 million by 2030. Almost 300,000 babies, kids and teens have arthritis or a rheumatic condition. Arthritis is the nation’s No. 1 cause of disability. 57% of adults with heart disease have arthritis. 52% of adults with diabetes have arthritis. 44% of adults with high blood pressure have arthritis. 36% of adults who are obese have arthritis. 1/3 of adults with arthritis age 45 and older have either anxiety or depression. My dearest achy-breaky, pain-pill-popping pals, you deserve delicious relief.  Inflamed Americans limp and hobble under the erroneous belief that arthritis is a natural part of aging.   Again, we’ve been hornswoggled. Millions agonize unnecessarily due to some really, really bogus, not-so-erudite medical advice, and the slime of low grade foods oozing from the Western diet. The word arthritis comes from the Greek arthron meaning "joint" and the Latin itis meaning "inflammation".  It can result from youthful sports injuries, aggressive autoimmune response, and infuriating innocent cartilage; the glistening white surface of bone joints. When this gliding surface is no longer intact, agonizing discomfort, swelling and stiffness result. Arthritis affects 46 million and is not inevitably a natural part of aging; rather, it’s years of physical self-abuse or a nutritional deficiency resulting from feed-bagging the gory-awful Standard American Diet of dead food. The reality is the pain of arthritis can be prevented, subdued, and aided thru whole foods nutritional and vitamin supplementation. Anything triggering an immune response also triggers inflammation.  Alien foods your immune system recognizes as not belonging in your temple can ignite allergic reactions resulting in joint irritation. Oh, your doctor never told you? The Nightshades family triggers arthritic pain: eggplant, tomatoes, peppers and white potatoes contain solanine which interferes with enzymes in the muscles causing agony in neighboring joints. Now, add red meats, egg yolks, dairy, wheat gluten, corn, corn syrup, sugar, flour, processed foods, and alcoholic beverages to the list. Especially for individuals with Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) the gluten in wheat, oats, barley, and rye are troublemakers.  Doctors report a higher than average number of folks with autoimmune disorders who are allergic to gluten. A new study also discovered folks with rheumatoid arthritis have a 50 percent increased risk of diabetes compared to people without arthritis. Get tested for gluten allergies known as Celiac disease. If you dig milk, butter, cheese, yogurt, or casein and whey in other food fare such as bread or milk chocolate, then you can potentially trigger the symptoms of your food allergy, in this case arthritis. Allergy symptoms may show up hours or even days later, well after a food is absorbed into your delicate ecosystem. Bacteria, viruses, and parasites also trigger an immune response so take a probiotic supplement. Since we’re primates created for a mostly plant-based diet, many people have limited capacity to digest animal proteins efficiently as they age, so when they eat excessive animal protein the Temple’s ability to cleave all the amino acid bonds is limited. Hence the proteins may not totally break down into amino acid building blocks which lead to the creation of antibodies against themselves; a.k.a. auto immune disease Over 100 types of arthritis are auto immune related diseases the body's immune system becomes lead astray, attacking what it was designed to protect.  For those with autoimmune disease everything you place into their temple is either making them healthier or sicker.  There’s simply too much research disproving the disease is caused by aging.  So, get over yourself and ditch the, “If it dies, it fry’s,” mentality and foods from the 50’s. Scientific reports reviewed thirty-one studies concluded that fasting, followed by a vegetarian diet, is useful in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis. Non-prescription anti-inflammatories include vitamin C, turmeric, ginger, cayenne, glucosamine. Be mindful it’s never too late to self-manage and douse the conflagration of inflammation with informed dietary modifications and the no-nonsense use of nutritional supplements. Recognizing the relationship between diet and your symptoms can bring blissful relief. Go against societies flow.  Take the road less traveled by choosing the dinner fork in road to joyous relief and you’ll enrich your quality of life, shrink medical costs, and liberate your beautiful temple. You can do it. Life ‘s too short to not to feel good with every breath. Healing Turmeric, Ginger, Apple Cider Tea There’s been lots of news lately about the amazing healing and detoxing properties of the spice, Turmeric. It a free-radical-fighting antioxidant hailed as defense against both cancer and Alzheimer’s. Ginger is its best friend.  In India where turmeric and ginger is part of the daily diet, Alzheimer’s rates are 4 times less than that of the US. Turmeric, Ginger and Bragg’s Apple Cider vinegar Vacuums up free radical debris that can cause a variety of disease. It controls damaging inflammation implicated in Alzheimer’s, arthritis, cancer, heart disease, colitis, IBS, Crohn’s, post-giardia or post salmonella conditions. Improves digestion. Regulates blood sugar. Keeps the body pH alkaline, hence slowing down cancer growth. Cleans the pineal gland. (Calcified from fluoride) Cleanses the liver overflowing with pharmaceutical toxins.  Reduce the itching and inflammation of hemorrhoids. Americans do not use it for the reason it was given to us by creation. In the US we use turmeric to color mustard, cheddar cheese, clothing, butter pickles, and butter. Turmeric / Apple Cider Tea for Two Powerful Anti-inflammatory 2 cups tepid water 1 tablespoon organic ginger powder 1 tsp. powdered turmeric-From health food store-not grocery 1/8th tsp. cayenne ¼ cup Bragg’s Cider Vinegar 1 tbs. raw local honey or local maple syrup (Stevia is okay too) 2 Large coffee mugs Bring enough water for two tea mugs to a boil. Shut off heat. Add turmeric, ginger and cayenne.  Let set for 10 minutes. Grab your 2 mugs and add 3 tablespoons of Bragg’s Apple Cider Vinegar with Mother to each cup. Keep the Braggs at room temperature. It’s alive. Strain tea into each mug; add raw honey (alkalizing), stir to combine. Gravity takes the turmeric to the cup bottom quickly.   Drink warm and stir frequently between sips because the turmeric gravitates to the bottom-- so keep stirring it up.   Live Right Now theme music is “future soundtrack II” by Adam Henry Garcia from the Free Music Archive licensed under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0

AND if you stick around to the end of this video I want to GIVE you an exclusive bonus I made JUST for you in this video. One thing I struggled with: eating more vegetables So I tried juicing. Almost went broke. I’ll be first to admit… I’m LAZY. Don’t want to wash fruit and vegetable for 20 min. I stopped juicing…. TOO much equipment! I felt guilty ALL day. Could not fit in as many vegetables as I needed. Stopped feeling guilty by drinking Organifi. Became my all on one nutritional insurance policy. Backup for rest of day. I want you to picture having unlimited energy. That feeling you get when you eat a healthy meal? The energy and mental focus. What if you could consistently get that without the meal prep, hard work, and time it takes? Until I discovered this product. Organifi! I want to give you an honest review of Organifi after using it for over a year and really experiencing the benefits first hand. Health — call this thing my insurance policy — make SURE I get all vitamins and minerals You are NOT what you eat! Biggest myth out there. You are what you digest and absorb! Need to absorb smaller particles into body - complex complete packages of foods/fruits/vegetables into smallest particles with enzymes/co factors to metabolize. Can’t always do that chewing. Too big / food don’t contain other enzymes / etc. Why JUICING is so beneficial! 2. ENERGY — Sustainable energy. No crash at 2PM - no glass of wine after work. No 5th cup coffee. 3. Fat Loss — Helps eliminate bloating / puffy belly. Slimmer waist. Alkalize body and boost metabolism making it easier to burn fat or maintain body. 4. DETOX -- special Superfood Blend — here’s just one example of an ingredient you get when you buy this product:Ashwaganhda - reduce stress. Weight gain always an imbalance of stress. Fight for you. Kinda like your support buddy who goes in there and blocks fat cells and stress hormones making you fat. Ashwagandha is an adaptogen. That means it’s one of a unique group of herbs that actually help strengthen your body’s adrenal system. CONS 1. Refrigeration — first world problem. On tour was hard to use. Not sure if you NEED to refrigerate, but I do anyway. 2. Sales — constantly trying to get you to buy MORE. Little annoying. Lots of emails…. 3. Price It’s around $2 per day to use this. However “small investment in your health” priorities. Buy dinner out one night or month of this every day. OR compare to bring all the vegetables in this. OR Whole Foods Juice for like, $8!! You can pay the farmer more now or the doctor more later. SPECIAL BONUS: 1. Buy Organifi through this affiliate link: ►https://tinyurl.com/y8al2y3q (affiliate) 2. Today, as I came into the living room I caught a bit of news on the TV: the show host was grilling Dr. Andrew Wakefield about his claim that vaccinations "may" cause autism. They had another authoritative sounding fellow practically shouting with indignation "how can Wakefield continue to claim the link in face of all the evidence that there is none?" And yet, 1 in 150 children fits the autistic label, up 100 fold from only 20-some years ago. Have you noticed the rising tide of autism in our society? Recently I was reminded of it quite directly, as one of my nieces announced that her child was "officially autistic". Which allegedly is a good thing, because there are government funded programs for helping these children (at least here in Canada ...) and please do not get me started on the issues around health insurance. Or do: write me your questions, and I will address them in our next newsletter. Anyway, the point I am trying to make is this: for some reason more and more people are developing this syndrome (syndrome is medical speak for "we have no clue") that is described as spectrum disorder (medical speak for "we can't pin it down"). Spectrum disorder is the opposite of a clear definition - pregnancy is non-spectrum. You cannot be a little bit pregnant, but you can be a little bit autistic. This powerful title carries an important message that can benefit everyone. It may revolutionize health care of the future with one simple principle: Alkalize Yourself!
