First of all lets get one thing right - there are no bad albums by Mastodon. they are one of the few who can hold this title. However not all albums they have made are equal so this is my list of all Mastodon albums ranked from worst to best along with my thoughts on Brent Hinds departure

It's always a treat to talk about “hometown” metal, especially when it's one of the heaviest, most modern, progressive metal bands in the entire genre.
