They turned a shed on their family farm into a distribution site for local food pantries. Soon they realized the need was more significant, and there was room for growth. Last week, historic Hurricane Ian slammed into our SWFL home and may have been Florida's costliest and most deadly storm ever. We have all been without power and water for over a week here. Parts of Fort Myers Beach we're completely wiped away by the storms relentless surge. Gentry told his stories of riding the storm out here at our studio bunker and the struggle to find basic necessities after. He also came with a great list of hurricane hacks. Memphis told us the story of watching the storm from the east cost of Florida in Delray beach. Tomkat told his story of riding the storm out in Cape Coral Florida and the harrowing tale of his mom riding the storm out on Fort Myers Beach.
