Happy Thursday Besties! Today, Morgan brings you the history of one of the very few major mountains that has not been summited because of its incredible spiritual significants and everything else that makes it so mysterious... Mount Kailash. Before Taylar wraps up this episode with the heartbreaking case of Mandy Stavik, an 18 year old girl who was abducted and murdered while on her daily jog, visiting home for the first time from College in Acme, WA, 1989. It would take 30 years, but her family, friends, and community would continue to fight for her justice, with the very special help of three amazing women. It's a tear jerker for sure, but really reminds you the importance of community- especially today.  If you can define love, then it is not love at all.My childhood was hell—no love at all. After my second near-death experience, I unconsciously sought to find love.I began with self-help groups, then explored bioenergetics, encounter groups, Primel, Tantra I and II, meditation, and Bhakti Yoga. I even spent 12 years in meditation retreats.Shouldn't I be an expert on love by now?Yet, to this day, I cannot define love. But I want to help you find love!If you release all your suppressed negative emotions through bioenergetics, encounter groups, or similar practices, love will naturally arise within you. This happens because your heart opens. In this state, it becomes easy to fall in love with someone. The reality is, you need a projection for your love.In the Quran, it is said that because we are weak, God gives us someone to love so that our hearts may open. However, it is not necessary to share your love with another person. An example:After three years of meditation retreats, I attended a concert by Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. I experienced such intense heart pain that I thought I would die—I had never felt anything like it before.Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan opened my heart chakra. In that moment, I could only experience love. Everything and everyone became indescribably beautiful. That was real love, though I didn't feel it in the usual way—I was able to embrace everyone with love.We call this a Samadhi experience. No worldly love was ever enough for me.Love is God, but God is more than love.Another example:I was once a staunch atheist. I was never baptized into any religion, and I never will be.My first experience of God came during a deep Tantric love relationship. It was a total surrender to love by both of us.It was both a nightmare and a paradise. The love burned away our egos, and that was excruciatingly painful. The relationship ended after 11 weeks.I was chosen by God.But I thought, “Who cares? I'll never change my attitude because I'm an atheist.”Yet, no one has free will, and God wanted me, even though I didn't want God.I was defeated by God.I was humiliated by God.Can you not see the connection between love and God?I once had a desire to perform a kora (circumambulation) around Mount Kailash, the holiest place for Tibetans and Hindus. When I began the trek toward Kailash, I was overwhelmed with love for the Lord, crying for the Lord.Everyone in our group had a profound spiritual experience while trying to touch Kailash. What can you do?Attend an African Christian worship service led by a healer.Miracles will happen.Sing and dance with all your heart for the Lord—Jesus.Jesus will come because He must. This happened to me, and I am not a Christian. When Jesus comes to you, you experience so much more than love.My Video:  Is worldly love true love? https://youtu.be/jkGdY77FE3gMy Audio: https://divinesuccess.net/wp-content/uploads/2021/Podcast4/Is-worldly-love-true-love.mp3

BIO: Akil Taher is a practicing physician living in Atlanta, GA. At 76 years young, he is a septuagenarian athlete, an eternal optimist, explorer, and adventurer, who in 2010, at the age of sixty-one, dramatically altered the conventional script adopted by most bypass surgery patients by undertaking a mountaineering trek to Mount Kailash in Tibet. Defying expectations with this accomplishment only a year after open-heart surgery, Dr. Akil then stretched to run his first full marathon in October 2011, the Chicago Marathon; and in September 2012, he climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest free-standing mountain in the world. Dr. Taher expanded the canvas of his age-defying adventures by pursuing physically challenging activities on land, sea, and air, including a century bike ride (a 100-mile cycling event), triathlon, white water rafting, hang gliding, and skydiving and bungee jumping. Over the last decade, he has overcome acute and chronic medical ailments by transforming his mind, body, and spirit through the adoption of a plant-based diet, regular exercise, the practice of yoga and meditation, and developing a positive and purpose-driven mindset. Dr. Akil authored his first book in 2021, Open Heart, as a chronicle of this transformational journey and his exploits since his heart surgery. Today, he shares his story, wisdom, and medical knowledge far and wide, to spread the message and educate thousands about living a heart-healthy lifestyle and using food as medicine.   OPEN HEART: The Transformational Journey of a Doctor Who, After Bypass Surgery at 61, Ran Marathons and Climbed Mountains is available in Softcover, Kindle, and Audible at: https://amzn.to/3sy299g  All proceeds from book sales go to charity.

Mount Kailash remains one of the greatest climbing mysteries, with all attempts by experienced mountaineers ending in failure. The mountain's ever-changing position disorients climbers, and mysterious blockages often appear on the paths. According to Tibetan folklore, an 11th-century Buddhist monk named Milarepa is the only person to have ever reached the summit. After his successful climb, Milarepa warned others not to attempt the ascent. Since then, no one else has been able to conquer Mount Kailash.  I desired for years, to do a Kailash Chora…. Was it an Ego trip, or Challenge or spiritual desire? The Kailash Chora is the most famous Pilgrimage for the Hindus and Tibetans. For the Hindus represents Mount Kailash, Mount Meru the place where the God Shiva lives. It is not allowed to climb Mount Kailash, so the pilgrims go around Kailash, which is called Kailash Chora. The stunning altitude is on this pilgrimage trek mainly between 5200m and 5700m and is about 50 km long…  Finally, I booked the Kailash Chora, and we drove with the bus from Kathmandu to Dunche, the starting point of the Kailash Chora trek. I repeated always in my mind the famous Shiva mantra and got blissful, sometimes I cried for Shiva,... Awesome experiences...Just before we arrived there was a terrible accident just in front of us… A car passed by our bus and crashed with the speed of 80km/h in another car…. Both cars were destroyed and one car flipped upside down… I just saw a hand hanging out of the car that flipped upside down … Nobody wanted to help. I shouted stop I have to help, and the guide tried to stop me… The driver of this flipped car was mooring, the roof was nearly flat to the level of the crashed front of the car…Is he still alive? How to get him out of the car….We tried many ways… nothing worked out, and we were desperate, finally, I got the idea to remove the plastic from inside the door… Then we got him out and nursed him… His shoulder and some ribs were broken, severe head injuries…. Still, he could breathe… Luckily he had survived and there was no other person inside the car...Then we continued our drive to Dunche…I took my pilgrimage seriously and meditated in the morning and night repeating the name Shiva mantra with every step that I took…  The first day we trekked from the altitude of 4600m to 5200m and 20Km length and the last 5 Km was so exhausting… I had to reduce my speed, my 16kg backpack made it even worse. I enjoyed the beautiful mountain area and even more my rest! On this day, was the Tibetan Saga festival and 1000 Tibetan pilgrims were doing the trek… And that was so motivating….On the second day we stayed at the monastery to trek close to the Kailash and touch the Kailash instead of continuing with Chora….Unexpected this day became the Highlight for most Tourists and pilgrims…Just when I started I was so overwhelmed by love, that I cried … IncredibleAnd all people who touched the Kailash had a high spiritual experience, regardless if they had faith or not….A friend of mine took a stone from Kailash and brought that to our Guest house for the people who could not touch Kailash…. One Indian woman cried when he gave her the stone and so me…She decided that we couldn't bring the stone home and should give the stone back.Half of our group, could not continue the Chora because they suffered from symptoms of altitude sickness and went back and one woman rode a horse to the 5700m high pass…. This 5700m high pass got steeper and steeper, and I switched to snail gear… stopped every 5 minutes… the backpack drew me back… Still, it was not as hard as the Thorens la pass, because I trained every morning on the treadmill… Our group and guide supported me a lot, and thought I could do that… So I did… I lost 5 kg body weight because I could not get my raw food, and could not eat much-dried fruits and ground nuts…. The digestion didn't work properly at high altitudes, hard to sleep… Congestion of the nose...I had the fortune to complete the Chora. The Tibetans needed only one day to complete the Chora and we required 4 days, including touching the Kailash.I think everybody should be well-trained before starting the Chora… It will be an unforgettable experience, - a life time experience. For sure we don't get holier, but a glimpse of the Lord will be worth it.And You strengthen your perseverance and stamina … Regardless how difficult it is, you learn to do it in baby steps when there is no other choice.

Frontiers: The Journey of Two Surgeons Through Stroke by Dr. Siva Murugappan MD, FRCS(C) and Dr. Prema Samy MD, FRCS(C)We can't always predict when the unexpected will happen. Dr. Siva Murugappan understands this more than most. As a general surgeon, he's an expert on prevention and protocols. A stroke definitely wasn't on the agenda; he'd just climbed Mount Kailash in Tibet, 21,778 feet above sea level. But four months later, a stroke is exactly what happened-right in the middle of a medical procedure on a patient. Dr. Murugappan quickly discovered the guidelines and their limitations won't work for him, that he must forge his own path.Frontiers: A Surgeon's Journey through Stroke is a stroke survivor's memoir through recovery and its expected and unexpected challenges. Told from the perspectives of Dr. Murugappan and his wife Dr. Prema Samy, Frontiers illustrates the ways stroke affects survivors and their loved ones alike.More than anything, this is a story of perseverance. Dr. Murugappan refuses to accept the narrative imposed him, that he'll never practice medicine as he did pre-stroke. Like climbing Mount Kailash, stroke recovery becomes his new frontier. Regaining his medical licence drives his rehabilitation. This new purpose becomes essential when Dr. Murugappan and Dr. Samy realize there is no precedent in Canada for a doctor reclaiming their licence post-stroke. Now, this frontier must be surmounted not only for himself but for anyone in a similar situation, regardless of profession. And while he undertakes these challenges, his wife and caretaker must overcome her own. How much can anyone endure? How much can their marriage take? Dr. Murugappan and Dr. Samy soon find out.Dr. Siva Murugappan is a general surgeon and husband to Dr. Prema Samy, an ear, nose, and throat surgeon. Dr. Murugappan is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada, College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, the Canadian Medical Protective Association, and the Ontario Medical Association. Frontiers: The Journey of Two Surgeons Through Stroke is their first book. With so few stroke memoirs available, they were inspired to share their story in the hopes of helping others. Their perspectives as practicing doctors, with Dr. Murugappan's unwavering desire to return to work, will inspire stroke survivors to transcend their own frontiers. When he's not in the hospital, Dr. Murugappan enjoys reading and golfing. They live in Chatham, Ontario, with their golden retriever.https://www.amazon.com/Frontiers-Journey-Surgeons-Through-Stroke/dp/1039176437https://www.frontierstroke.com/http://www.LitPrime.com

YouTube Version https://youtu.be/DlaVlJXJERsIt was in John's last wishes that Leigh Brennan and Patti Silva document the most important pieces of wisdom he gained from walking the Camino paths for over a quarter of a century. This project grew into this docuseries of several short but poignant video messages for Pilgrims of the Camino de Santiago. This is the first chapter of the multipart series. John stated the driving thought behind the title of this chapter by saying,  “The Camino as a Path of Awakening: This is, perhaps, the easiest to grasp because it pre-supposes we are asleep. Every mystical tradition has Awakening as a core theme of spiritual development and no more so than in Christianity. The Bible tells us that, ‘A great sleep came across Adam', and nowhere in the bible is there any reference to Adam waking up! We, collectively, are Adam and we remain asleep but now urgently need to awaken to a new consciousness. The Camino can offer us a path into transformation”.About John Brierley:John Brierley spent his early life in Dublin where he qualified as a Chartered Surveyor and set up practice as Brierley & Co in 1971 later merging with Jackson-Stops. An existential crisis took him and his family to Findhorn in Scotland in 1987 as part of a mid-career break. This was to prove a pivotal time in his life with a reordering of priorities towards a spiritual perspective. In 1996 he convened the international conference ‘Business for Life' where the core issue was identified as the crisis of the human spirit and the search for meaning in life. The idea of Business sabbaticals as an antidote to burn out and pilgrimage as a way to reappraise life's purpose became his abiding passion. In 2000 he walked up through Western Nepal into Tibet to complete the renowned Mount Kailash pilgrimage sacred to Buddhism, Hinduism and esotoric Christianity.t of a celestial alarm clock.WAKE UP CALL10 years of quiet desperation led to a turning point, that opportunity that comes to each of us at some pivotal stage in our life and offers us a time to re-assess our direction. The classic existential mid-life crisis that can lead to breakdown and breakthrough. For me it started in January 1986 with an alarmingly persistent wake-up call. Looking back I laugh at the idea of my spiritual guides working overtime to wake me up. The dream needed very little interpretation but I was so blind that I still could not read its message. I had this dream, off and on, for a whole year before its significance began to dawn on me. I really thought I was going mad during that period and of course, in conventional terms, I was. The turning upside down of consensus reality is frequently misunderstood as some psychotic episode whereas, within the bigger picture, it is simply spiritual emergence and the opening to knowledge of higher worlds. I slowly became aware of a spiritual reality behind the sense-perceptible world.SABBATICALAt the end of that year I realised that something profound was trying to happen and it gave me enough courage to claim a mid-career break. I was 39 and Ireland was in recession so my business partners needed little persuading, my wife and children needed none. She had spent her earlier years in an Ashram and couldn't wait to break away from the mindless social and business circles. The children had suffered a few years of the state curriculum and where likewise ready to experience something more liberating. So a gap suddenly appeared with this amazing potential for change and growth - I was off the treadmill for a year!THE JOURNEY OF AWAKENINGWe headed away in a camper van to ‘travel the world' and during that year, 1987, I stumbled onto the Camino de Santiago for the first time and felt its welcoming embrace. The Findhorn Foundation in Scotland was the next stop along the Way and it was there I realised that i

This week's episode is a replay of Episode 117: How Kristina Barile Went From MIT Rocket Scientist to Living Off The Land In Panama. On this week's episode, I interview the incredible Kristina Barile on her journey from a Harvard and MIT-grad rocket scientist to living in a mud home in Panama, teaching holistic, nutritional Ayurveda and freelance writing. In last week's episode, we talked all about how unnatural our lives have become and the effects it is having on our lives. Kristina and her husband recognized this deep restlessness in corporate America and decided to embark on a journey to find a better way. Her journey opened her up to a wide array of experiences: traveling 30 hours up to Mount Kailash in the Himalayan Mountains, to living in India for 5 months to focus on meditation and self-awareness, to finally building a sustainable mud home in Panama. Kristina's story is still evolving but her unwavering desire to ground herself and live an authentic life will keep her moving forward.

In October 2011, he ran his first full marathon (26.2 miles or 49.19 kilometers), the Chicago Marathon, and in September 2012, he climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest free-standing mountain in the world. Over the last decade Dr. Taher has overcome acute and chronic medical ailments to indulge in century cycling, triathloning, skydiving, hang gliding, scuba diving, and white water rafting. This was possible because he changed his lifestyle to incorporate healthy eating habits, an exercise regimen, and regular practice of yoga and meditation. Dr. Taher pushed himself into areas that tested his vulnerabilities and capabilities; namely, triathlons and a mud race. Dr. Akil Taher is a practicing medical doctor, an author, eternal optimist, explorer, adventurer, a strong advocate for a whole food, plant-based vegan lifestyle. He is a Septuagenarian who has educated thousands to understand a way out of the pain of chronic illness and disease. He believes that what you eat is the most important pillar of the 6 Pillars of Lifestyle Medicine, which along with his incredible story, he often also shares. As an author and speaker, Dr. Taher stays focused on spreading the message of the benefits of living a heart-healthy lifestyle. As an athlete and veganism proponent, he has benefited tremendously by adopting a plant-based diet and fostering a deeper connection with nature. And as a resurgent physician, he leverages medical science and lifestyle medicine to treat the underlying cause of the disease and not just the consequence of the disease. Dr. Taher often says and writes in his book, “OPEN HEART” that, “Up to the age of sixty-one, I was my biggest impediment to progress, and then I became my biggest change agent. And now at age seventy-four, I am living a life of purpose, peace, and contentment, doing everything I love. I have reincarnated into a new life to stay true to the meaning of my first name, Akil−the "wise.” Dr. Akil Taher's book “OPEN HEART: The Transformational Journey of a Doctor Who, After Bypass Surgery at 61, Ran Marathons and Climbed Mountains” is available on Amazon and Kindle and all proceeds from book sales go to charity (PETA, St. Jude Children's Hospital, and the American Heart Association). ‘The Axis Mundi, the centre of the universe, the navel of the world, the world pillar, Kang Tisé or Kang Rinpoche (the ‘Precious Jewel of Snow' in Tibetan), Meru (or Sumeru), Swastika Mountain, Mt. Astapada, Mt. Kangrinboge (the Chinese name) – all these names, real or legendary, belong to one of the holiest and most mysterious mountains in the world – Mount Kailas. Both geography and mythology play roles in the sacred significance of Mount Kailas. This holy mountain rises to an altitude of 6714 meters. It cannot compete with peaks in the nearby Himalayan range, which includes Mount Everest, and its grandeur lies not in height but in its distinct shape – four sheer faces marking the cardinal points of the compass – and its solitary location, free of neighboring mountains that might dwarf or obscure it. Mt. Kailas is regarded as the earthly manifestation of the Hindus' mythic Mount Meru, or Sumeru, the spiritual center of the universe, the axis mundi in Buddhist and Jain as well as Hindu cosmology. Source. Cities and Memory - remixing the sounds of the world

""Kailash Dmyal-ba Ngari" is the echo of Tibet radio station, voice of yi-dvags from the deep underground network of Mount Kailash in Tibet. Ngari was the heart of the ancient kingdom of Guge, the once flourishing ancient kingdom virtually disappeared, leaving theorists to suspect they fled underground to Mount Kailash - one of the most mysterious places on earth: shaped like a pyramid, it has been stated that Mount Kailash is the axis of the world - axis mundi, and according to ancient beliefs, it is the place where we can find the mysterious city of the gods.  Although Kailash is not one of the highest of Himalayan range, no human being has ever been able to climb it. Rough weather, altitude sickness, diverging in the wrong direction, misleading trails are some of the hindrances that deterred even the toughest of climbers. Another fact of Mount Kailash is time travelling which suggests that the air in the mountain renders to the rapid aging process. This transtemporal travel claim is backed by a story of climbers from Siberia: after trespassing the forbidden line, the group of climbers experienced aging by a few decades and all died within a year." In this episode, you'll hear the story of a physician who lived according to a “Type A” schedule, until he suffered from angina and needed bypass surgery. It was at this point, when he was being wheeled into the operating room, that he decided to turn this setback into a comeback. This comeback came in the form of a dramatic transformation in mind, body, and spirit. Today's guest, Dr. Akil Taher, tells his story and provides his recommendations for transformational healing in his book Open Heart: The Transformational Journey of a Doctor Who, After Bypass Surgery at 61, Ran Marathons and Climbed Mountains. The interview yields a dozen “fun nuggets” about wellness, life, and transformation: #1: Heart disease is the number one killer, but can be prevented and reversed. #2: Living long is one thing, but living long and well is another. #3: Pursue the American dream, but do so in balance (health & wellness with the pursuit of material possessions). #4: You can turn a setback into a comeback. #5: Pain is a messenger (for Dr. Taher, pain even merged with pleasure). #6: Random acts of kindness are fun ( the caps story). #7: Respecting your elders is fun ( the marathon story). #8: Making mistakes is fun ( the wetsuit story). #9: Live outside your comfort zone. #10: Diet is more important than exercise. #11: Sleep is the best medicine. #12: Nature, spirituality, and emotional healing is a key part of transformation. From a bona-fide couch-potato to climbing Mount Kailash and Mount Kilimanjaro, skydiving, finishing several marathons, riding in a 100-mile bike ride and making a complete change of diet, Dr. Akil Taher is living proof that you’re never too old to turn your life around. At the age of 73, Dr. Taher is just getting started. Prior to changing from the S.A.D. (Standard American Diet) to a 100% whole food, plant based diet, void of all animal and dairy, Dr. Taher assumed his health was the result of genetics. At 56 he had serious health conditions which led to open heart surgery at 61. Dr. Taher transformed from a middle-aged practicing physician with a dangerously bad diet into a vital, energetic athlete, ever seeking new challenges and adventures. Prior to changing his eating, he dealt with a number of health issues including constipation, never-ending flu symptoms, headaches, a perforated colon and diverticulitis. He experienced multiple hospital stays, but it was his open heart surgery at the age of 61 that was what he calls his “inflection” point. This is when he went from ordinary to extraordinary and has not looked back. https://amzn.to/3twzMH9 www.akiltaher.com

Mount Kailash, located in western Tibet, is considered to be sacred by Hindus, Bons, Buddhists, and Jains. It towers at 6,638m, and for Buddhists, represents Mount Meru, is central to its cosmology, and a major pilgrimage site for worshippers. One of those traditions involves trekking around its base, clockwise for Buddhists and Hindus, along its 52km path, seeking good luck and fortune along the way. The trip passes through remote lands, over a 5,500m pass and typically takes about four-days. Today we’ll chat with legendary traveler and writer, Joe Cummings, about his circumambulation of Mount Kailash in 2015.

A sequel to the 1991 cult film Sadak, the latest release Sadak 2 starring Alia Bhatt, Sanjay Dutt, Aditya Roy Kapoor, Jisshu SenGupta, Makrand Deshpande, Gulshan Grover comes across as a half-hearted attempt that lacks the charm and nostalgia of the '90s. Directed by Mahesh Bhatt, who returned to direction after 20 years, the film has a lot of potholes be it story, screenplay or even direction. The story is about Alia's Aarya and Aditya's Vishal going to Mount Kailash with Ravi Kishore played by Dutt as their taxi driver. While Aarya is on a mission to bust the racket of fake godmen, she puts her own life in danger and before she realises who's on her side and who's not, she finds a saviour and a guardian angel in Ravi. Next 2 hours 13 mins is about how this road trip turns out to be a revelation for both Aarya and Vishal and how Ravi gets the closure he's seeking after he has lost the love of his life, Pooja. Sadak 2 is a wasted opportunity where even the best of lineup in terms of actors and director couldn't save a sinking ship. However, one thing is sure that the raging nepotism debate has nothing to do with the film being good or bad.

Hello, Thanks for Listening Lord Ganesha is called the god of knowledge and wisdom and there is a spectacular story that illustrates why it is so. Ganesha had a younger brother called as Karthikeya. Both would get along well but, just like all other siblings, they would have moments of arguments and fights. On one such day, Ganesha and Karthikeya both ended up finding a unique fruit in the forest and grabbed it together. They refused to share it with each other and started claiming the fruit for themselves. When they reached Mount Kailash and presented this predicament to Shiva and Parvati, Shiva made a proposition. He recognized the fruit and said that this fruit is known to grant immortality and extensive knowledge when eaten by the rightful bearer of it. To choose who gets it, Shiva proposed a challenge. He asked Ganesha and Karthikeya to circumvent their world 3 times. Whoever would do so first and return to Mount Kailash, would be the rightful owner of the fruit.Karthikeya immediately hopped onto his pet peacock and flew speedily to complete three revolutions across the Earth. Ganesha was a little stocky compared to Karthikeya and his pet was a rat who couldn't fly. Having listened to Shiva's proposal properly, Ganesha started walking around Shiva and Parvati and completed three circles around them. When asked by Shiva, Ganesha replied that Shiva had asked them to circumvent their world. And for Ganesha, his parents were more than the world. They were the entire universe. Shiva was touched and impressed by Ganesha's wisdom and saw him as the rightful owner of the fruit. Moral Not only does this story give a great example of how using your wisdom can help resolve a situation smartly, but it also teaches that your parents should be given the respect and love they deserve. There Are Other Rivers

Walking is both slow and difficult so it makes for powerful thinking time. Slow is good. With slowness and effort comes anticipation and clarity. Rewards have to be earned; ideas can be mulled over. I can appreciate the motivation of the pilgrims to Mount Kailash who prostrate themselves with each stride.

We are joined in this episode by Dave Asprey, New York Times bestselling author and CEO of Bulletproof, True Dark and 40 Years of Zen. Dave joins us to speak about his new book Super Human, which discusses ways to reach far higher ages than we thought possible. Our guest speaks about the many health issues he struggled with as a child and how he discovered that holistic wellbeing is affected by a mixture of epigenetics, trauma, and biology. He gets into how his trauma affected him, and how he discovered that his birth story played significantly into this. Dave also speaks about his journey to discovering all kinds of lesser-known and practiced approaches to health and age prevention. He discusses Stan Grof’s research, a meditation retreat in Mount Kailash, and how he found smart drugs and brain hacking long before their popularization. We also speak about alpha, beta, delta, and theta brain waves, covering when each is most active, how they affect our behavior, and what Dave is doing to optimize them using technology at 40 Years of Zen. This afternoon, AmaYa Ma Kumara from The Divine University joins me in talking about the upcoming, powerful Wesak celebration. Why is it so powerful?  The Divine University Wesak is a festival of the Enlightened Masters. This is different to the Buddha’s birthday celebrated by many Buddhists all over the world. It is one of 3 festivals that occur on the inner planes every year involving a great spiritual gathering through the ashrams. Spiritual initiates, Masters, beings from other realms come and gather in service with all of humanity and the whole planet at this time. The timing of our Wesak program is always before the Full Moon and culminates at the full moon. It can happen at no other time, because it is a true ceremony. In this ceremony, the most light from Source comes to the Mother Earth through the inner planes, brought through Buddha and the Buddhic dispensations. The Buddhic realms open up during this ceremony. The Buddhic Realms are realms that surround the Earth realm, and when they open up, they send an enormous amount of Light to the Earth. The Buddha nature travels in this master body into the Wesak Valley which is in the Himalayas, not very far from Mount Kailash in Tibet. Everyone that journeys there through the inner planes receives the Light for their service for the next year. During the ceremony we are all connected together energetically and travel there to receive this light. This very powerful Light, many thousand-fold more powerful than usual, is transmitted for hours and then lives inside our core, to be dispensed very slowly over the year as we need it. It is the only time that this Light comes into the core in this most powerful way. This is called the Empowerment of the Soul’s Light.
