Her main goal for starting the practice was to give her patients the type of care that she felt was lacking in the Physical Therapy world, one that focused on providing one-on-one, manual-based therapy and functional exercises. Dahlia graduated from McGill University in Montreal, Canada in 1993 with a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy. She has since worked with college football, hockey, and soccer teams as well as semi-pro football teams. Since graduating she has focused on perfecting her skills in Orthopedics and Sports Medicine and has taken several courses in Manual Therapy as well as completing her Manual Therapy Certification through St. Augustine University. She has also finished her level 1 dry needling certification. In 2012 she became a Fellow of Applied Functional Science, a title only held by less than 300 therapists in the world, making her a Movement Specialist and expert on biomechanics, allowing her to find the root of the problem, not just treat the symptoms. As a dedicated clinician she is determined to see every patient get results, feel good about their care, and return back to their normal lives as quickly as possible. As a practice owner her mission is to surround herself with an elite staff of caring and highly trained therapists. Her goal is to build a practice that is highly regarded in the Orthopedic community as well as the community in which the clinics' serve. Our hope is to also continue philanthropy and give back to the community that has rewarded us with their trust. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/lakeforestpodcast/message Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/lakeforestpodcast/support

Follow Astrology by Celeste on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, and Yelp. ***** Astrology highlights for the week of December 25, 2022: 01:14 – This week's theme is: Surprise! The three big things this week are: First, Jupiter at 0 Aries is semisquare Uranus at 15 Taurus all week. Both are on world points; big news is coming this week! Will your big splash turn into a belly flop? Will delightful, serendipitous occurrences happen? It's a time to slow down and not rush things. 03:54 – Second, the third and final hit of the US Pluto Return occurs on the 28th! Pluto is known as the Lord of the Underworld. The planet of transformation takes 248 years to circle the Sun, so people never have Pluto Returns (but countries do). Pluto spends 11 to 30 years in a zodiac sign and has been in Capricorn since 2008. Pluto's ideas and words include primal, intensity, power, obsession, rebirth, transformations that are non-negotiable, and wealth from the Earth. On the positive side, Pluto can bring healing and regeneration. But it can also be cruel, brutal, sadistic, destructive, volcanic, and extreme. Pluto is known to unearth buried things; it eliminates and humbles. It is associated with shadows, things we would rather disown, taboo stuff, and sexuality. (Check out the Plutonic movies Seven with Morgan Freeman and Brad Pitt and 9 ½ Weeks with Kim Basinger and Mickey Rourke if you'd like!) When people have a Pluto transit, life is never the same again… but once you get through one, Pluto can bring a present of some kind! Natal Pluto is in the US chart's 2nd house of assets, finances, and values. Interestingly, Mercury (commerce, transportation), Venus (negotiations & agreements), and Pluto are parallel! Will we see a railway strike or a government shutdown? Remember that the Renaissance comes after the transformation. 13:16 – Third, Mercury is at 24 Capricorn and turns retrograde (Rx) on Thursday (December 29 - January 18)! It's a great time to review what plans you want to move forward in 2023! Review, revisit, slow down, and be especially careful since Mars is Rx in Gemini, which may bring difficult travel. PSA: Don't sign big contracts or deals unless you read the fine print carefully. 16:53 – On Sunday, the theme is KINDNESS. Speak with loving words to avoid conflict and hard feelings. 18:30 – On Monday, the word of the day is ELEVATE. Practice being the observer. The Crescent Moon phase at 19 Aquarius begins at 6:54 am PT. The Moon enters Pisces at 11:33 pm PT. 21:15 – Tuesday's focus is RELEASE. Listen to beautiful music to soothe your soul. 21:56 – On Wednesday, the word is HARMONIZE. Value the people who have been there for you for the long haul. 22:46 – On Thursday, the theme is COMPROMISE. If a conflict arises, seek win-win solutions—Mercury stations Rx at 1:31 am. The Moon enters Aries at 2:35 am PT. The First Quarter Moon is at 8 Aries at 5:20 pm PT. 25:52 – On Friday, the emphasis is REVEAL. You may receive new information that you need to accept. Please don't ignore it. 25:58 – On Saturday, the word is DELECTABLE. Treat the physical senses today! The Moon enters Taurus at 9:08 am PT. 26:51 – Thanks for listening to Celestial Insights! Can you believe that Halloween is just around the corner? I know some of you super-prepared parents out there are already getting costumes put together for your kiddos, and you may be wondering about cultural appropriation as you're looking through the shelves and online at all the costume options. I get asked all the time about how to avoid cultural appropriation with Halloween costumes, and it's actually a topic I've covered in the past. In Season 3, Episode 2 of the First Name Basis Podcast — “Your Top 5 Cultural Appropriation Questions Answered” — I answered two questions about how to avoid cultural appropriation at Halloween. Because this topic is sort of hidden in that episode, I decided to take pieces of that episode, add a bit more info, and make one episode — a one-stop shop for you to get all of your costume questions answered. In this episode, you will learn about: Indigenous appropriation on Halloween and how these costumes put Indigenous women in danger. How you can avoid appropriation in Halloween costumes. When it is appropriate to wear cultural artifacts. Race Talk Roadmap Our Race Talk Roadmap is the tool you need to begin conversations about race and racism with your children! We have a list of three tips for parents of older children and a list of three tips for parents of younger children. Visit firstnamebasis.org/racetalk to get the Race Talk Roadmap sent straight to your inbox. Ally Elementary Parents have been asking for a practical, interactive way to implement the anti-racist strategies that I lay out in the First Name Basis Podcast. So this October we are launching “Ally Elementary: Anti-Racist Education For Families." During this five-week program parents will work together with their children to create a culture of anti-racism in their home, and I will be there to guide them every step of the way. We will use hands-on activities to teach our children about everything from the untold story of how race was created to how they can disrupt racism in their everyday lives. I am so excited to watch the families in our community make a meaningful transformation and improve their communities through anti-racist action. Click here to the waitlist! Would you like to learn how to scale your law firm without burnout? If so, I have created A FREE MASTERCLASS FOR LAW FIRM OWNERS where you will learn... How to stop making the three biggest mistakes that keep you overworked and underpaid in your law firm. What to focus on instead so that you can truly move the needle forward to scale your law firm. How to unlock the formula to create more profit and freedom in your law firm! If this sounds like something you are interested in, click here to give it a watch! Now, onto this week's poddy! If you have too much on your plate, it could be a great idea to hire a virtual assistant. But where do you start? I have scaled my family law firm from 1 employee to 15, including 2 Virtual Assistants. A VA is a virtual assistant, where they work from their own space and not in your office. This means you can hire a VA from anywhere in the world, the advantage of this is that the cost can be considerably less depending on which country they are located in. To start working on your business and not only in it, but you also have to leverage your time. This is where hiring a VA can be a huge benefit. Getting the low-end tasks off your plate, such as raising invoices, chasing debt, or running your social media accounts, can free you up to do high-end tasks that move the needle in your business. 1.Where do you get your VA from? VA Agencies: There are agencies for VA's in Australia and New Zealand, which will do all of the hard yards for you including interviews, shortlisting, and communicating the overall job description. This will cost you more than if you get a VA directly, as an agency VA will be averaging around $11.00 - $12.00 per hour. When going through a VA agency, the accounting process is also systemised to be in a monthly tax invoice, in your currency, and including tax which makes the system a lot clearer when it comes to paying your VA than it would if you employ directly. Employ Directly: Another way to hire a VA is to do it individually by hiring a VA directly from a website where you can find different VA's. We have previously used onlinejobs.ph which is based in the Philippines and has a monthly subscription rate of $60.00 per month. This way you can employ reliable candidates for your jobs, or put jobs out there for assistance. This type of VA will then charge through systems like TransferWise or PayPal, which you will need to keep organised and updated. PSA: Don't forget, you don't need to hire a VA full time! You can hire part-time or even casually. You can also hire VA's for particular areas in your business, for example, bookkeeping, social media, graphics, or as your personal assistant. 2.What are the benefits of hiring a VA? You don't need a physical office. Your VA may be based working from home, or sometimes they can work from an office, you don't need to create an office space for them, either way. They are inexpensive. I have hired mainly from the Philippines, where the hourly rate is between $4.00- $11.00 per hour, depending on where you have hired them and their capabilities Side note: Another fab thing about hiring from the Philippines, is that they are only 2 hours behind Australian time, so they typically have very similar work hours to you. Delegation. Sometimes you can be the biggest bottleneck in your business. If you have someone to flick work off to, this prevents low-end jobs from being backed up in your possession. You have more time to give to high-end tasks, where your strengths lie. If you listened to a podcast a few episodes back, I discussed the importance of taking a personality test. I discussed why working in your zone of genius, and why putting your time into tasks that play to your strengths lie is vital in helping you scale your business. So, I am giving you the challenge now to write down what are the tasks that you could delegate right now to a VA or several VA's? Are there more than 5 repetitive tasks you complete each week that are preventing you from working on high-end tasks? Next week, we have my Personal Assistant, Brie coming on the podcast to give you the exact methods and tech she uses to successfully onboard, train, and effectively use Virtual Assistants, so keep an eye out for that next Tuesday! Would you like to learn how to scale your law firm without burnout? If so, I have created A FREE MASTERCLASS FOR LAW FIRM OWNERS where you will learn...How to stop making the three biggest mistakes that keep you overworked and underpaid in your law firm. What to focus on instead so that you can truly move the needle forward to scale your law firm. How to unlock the formula to create more profit and freedom in your law firm!If this sounds like something you are interested in, click here to give it a watch! This means you can hire a VA from anywhere in the world, the advantage of this is that the cost can be considerably less depending on which country they are located in.To start working on your business and not only in it, but you also have to leverage your time. This is where hiring a VA can be a huge benefit. Getting the low-end tasks off your plate, such as raising invoices, chasing debt, or running your social media accounts, can free you up to do high-end tasks that move the needle in your business.1.Where do you get your VA from? VA Agencies: There are agencies for VA's in Australia and New Zealand, which will do all of the hard yards for you including interviews, shortlisting, and communicating the overall job description. This will cost you more than if you get a VA directly, as an agency VA will be averaging around $11.00 - $12.00 per hour. When going through a VA agency, the accounting process is also systemised to be in a monthly tax invoice, in your currency, and including tax which makes the system a lot clearer when it comes to paying your VA than it would if you employ directly.Employ Directly: Another way to hire a VA is to do it individually by hiring a VA directly from a website where you can find different VA's. We have previously used onlinejobs.ph which is based in the Philippines and has a monthly subscription rate of $60.00 per month. This way you can employ reliable candidates for your jobs, or put jobs out there for assistance. This type of VA will then charge through systems like TransferWise or PayPal, which you will need to keep organised and updated.PSA: Don't forget, you don't need to hire a VA full time! I have hired mainly from the Philippines, where the hourly rate is between $4.00- $11.00 per hour, depending on where you have hired them and their capabilitiesSide note: Another fab thing about hiring from the Philippines, is that they are only 2 hours behind Australian time, so they typically have very similar work hours to you.Delegation. Are there more than 5 repetitive tasks you complete each week that are preventing you from working on high-end tasks?Next week, we have my Personal Assistant, Brie coming on the podcast to give you the exact methods and tech she uses to successfully onboard, train, and effectively use Virtual Assistants, so keep an eye out for that next Tuesday!Until then, don't forget to like, subscribe and if you have any questions, DM me on my socials below!CONNECT WITH Caralee:Instagram: @caralee.fonteneleFacebook: @caraleefonteneleLinkedIn: @caraleefontenele

Welcome to the Worship Workshop Podcast where we help you grow a stronger team that leads engaging worship. In today's episode, we're looking at the common things that keeps our churches from singing. As worship leaders and team members, we can't make someone sing out and worship. We're just there trying to create an environment that encourages people to participate in this musical worship that we lead. But here's the problem: since we're able to encourage participation, it stands to reason that we can also discourage it. So here are the six mistakes that we make that might be keeping our church from singing. 1. You have "Stand Zombies" 2. Your songs are too high. 3. Your songs are too complicated. 4. You have too many new or unfamiliar songs. 5. Worship sets are too long. 6. The music volume is too loud or too soft. It's Time...for the 69th installment of #TBKoW. The #GoodBrothers, while watching Game 7 of the #WorldSeries, kick things off by basically talking about a whole lot of nothing. While catching up we discuss potential reasons why some adult Asian videos blur the genitalia, the #Patriots constantly having dime piece players, #MLB finance strategies, Raquel Ferreira (one of the Red Sox SVP's) being the highest ranking female in all of the sports, Julia Rose and the infamous Game 5 #flashing stunt, the results of our weekly #NFLPicks, Popeye's bringing back their Chicken Sandwich this Sunday, and the recent Bishop Briggs concert we attended. We get to brass tax by discussing the #NCAA unanimously voting to allow players to make money off of their name and likeliness by 2021 and the whether or not it is a front, a #GenderReveal party explosion in Iowa that went terribly wrong, a divorcing parents legal battle as to whether the mother has the right to begin transition therapy on their 7 year old boy, #Navient being sued for their less than stellar business practices, a Cincy #McDonalds employee who threw a blender at a patron's face, the saga that is #KatieHill, the egregious headline/obituary by the recent killed #ISIS leader by #WaPo, and our thoughts on the new #KayneWest album. We want to give a huge shout out and speedy recovery to the military dog that ran down the ISIS leader, leading to his eventual death. Finally, we send our thoughts to the family and friends of John Witherspoon. PSA: Don't #manscape while listening to “Last Christmas” by Wham. 00:00:00 - Ryan and Juliana sit down with Kevin Hoch (@krhoch) to talk about pterosaurs! They're not dinosaurs but they're still great. We begin with some pterosaur basics to make sure everyone is up to speed. 00:21:52 - Much like pterosaurs at presumably some point in the past, we are in Tulsa, OK. Kevin provides some beer, including a Bump in the Road from Dead Armadillo Craft Brewing for Ryan and Kevin, and a Sundown Wheat from Marshall Brewing Company for Juliana. PSA: Don't touch dead armadillos. 00:28:20 - Next we grill Kevin about his maters research where he took a close look at Rhamphorhynchus, including scans of a 3D skull from Germany. We also touch on the cryptid beast the "Ropen" thought by some to be pterosaurs that have survived to modern day (spoiler: they haven't). 00:49:01 - PaleoPOWs are a lot like the evolution of flight; they've both happened more than once. Just Ryan for this segment and he's got a question Liam T. about the limits of biology when it comes to identifying species, especially from the fossil record and our own hominid lineage.
