Welcome back to the Bayou City Soccer Podcast! This week, the guys are joined by Juan Pereira to break down the Houston Dynamo's tough 1–0 loss to Seattle. For long stretches, Houston looked like the better side—doing well to limit the Sounders' attack while creating several promising chances of their own. Unfortunately, none of those opportunities found the back of the net. Seattle, on the other hand, capitalized on one key moment and made it count, securing the win on a rainy night. While the players put in a strong overall performance, there's a sense that Ben Olsen could have done more tactically to influence the outcome before Seattle's decisive moment—though, of course, hindsight is always 20/20.Looking ahead, Houston prepares to take on the Rapids, while Houston Dynamo 2 returns to action this weekend, kicking off a challenging 10-game road trip against Austin FC II.-All that and much more in this episode!-We invite you to follow us at Bayou City Soccer!-BayouCitySoccer.net-@BayouCitySoccer on Facebook, IG, and Twitter-Hit us up using our hashtag #AskBCS-Hosts:@rudysegura3 on Twitter@crisputallaz on Twitter-Again, BayouCitySoccer.net for everything!

Bareback rider and rodeo hand Mike Duplissey returns with stories that crackle—Marilyn's quiet cowhand genius pushing an 1,800-lb swamp bull to the trailer, learning the racehorse game (and surviving the oil-bust tax-shelter collapse), coming back with real estate at 60, and staying “in the game” with stakes horses and quarter horse weanlings. Mike remembers Bruce Lehrke's generosity, Lenora Rowe's magic, and the roar of the Spectrum and Silverdome. What do you do when you're doing exactly what Jesus told you to do and the storm still comes? In this powerful message from Mark 4, John Gunter reminds us that faith doesn't prevent the storm, it anchors us in it. Jesus called the disciples to cross the sea, and the storm came anyway. But when fear took over, His presence proved greater than their panic.Key Takeaways:The presence of trouble does not mean the absence of GodAnxiety is human, but peace is available through prayer and trustJesus calms both the storm around us and the fear within us

It all began when a tragic mining accident claimed the life of their grandfather. A week later, his wife heard the sound of his wagon rolling by the house at dawn, as he had done every day in life. But the wagon was nowhere to be seen. Years later, another family member was guided home through the dense fog by an unseen presence. Is the spirit of their grandfather still watching over the family, or do the mountains keep hold of more than just memories?  If you have a real ghost story or supernatural event to report, please write into our show or call 1-855-853-4802!
