This will open you up to new opportunities but it will also give your brain the workout it needs to stay strong. Don't worry about how silly or bad the idea is, just think of ten new ideas. If you never take time to challenge your thoughts, what is going to happen to you in the future when you need to think?  This is a great exercise by James Altucher and just write your ideas in a journal, on your note app, or on a white board, just make sure you do it.  Journal Prompts How can you incorporate writing down ten new ideas a day into your schedule? #10: Ten Ideas For Self Improvement

Girl God's Got You!

Play Episode Listen Later Apr 1, 2020 42:46

I've heard this phrase many times, "If you want to attract quality people, you first have to be a quality person." In other words, you need to be the type of person you want to attract. So many times, we complain about not having quality people in our lives, but we have to be honest with ourselves and ask this question: Is the way we are living our lives attracting the right people? You can relate this to a romantic relationship or a friendship, but the point is that if you want good people in your life, you need to be the kind of person that quality people want to spend time with. However, we must realize that we shouldn't change our life for another person. Rather, we should change our life and work on self-improvement in order follow the example that Jesus has shown us. The main point is that you shouldn't change for anyone. Instead, you should change because God wants you to live your life for Him. It's when you first focus on following Jesus' example that you will attract quality people. Pursuing Jesus will reap the benefits of developing a strong community around you. In this episode, I share my top ten goals of self-improvement that I'm working on currently. I hope this offers some inspiration and encouragement to you if you want to try something new in your daily routine, or if you want to grow deeper in your relationship with God. Regardless, I also want to encourage you that Jesus loves you SO MUCH no matter who you are or what you do. However, self-improvement and following Jesus' example is so important because it helps you better spread Jesus' light to a dark world. Learning to live more like Jesus will help bring others closer to His presence every single day because they will see Jesus shine through your daily life. God bless you all. Thank you so much for listening to this episode! :) I have added some inspirational graphics to my Instagram page, so if you want to check them out, here's the link to my page! :) https://www.instagram.com/girl.godsgotyou/ Also, if you want to email me any comments or episode ideas, feel free to contact me at girlgodsgotyou@gmail.com

Ryan and Taylor face each other alone for the first time in a long while and struggle to regain their once sure footing as a duo. Along the way, you get a reed snorkel and quick sand mattress as an alternative to suicide, ShoulderBuddies™ the Diner, a pair of googly eyes that might just change everything, yet another public, federally enforced engagement of the death drive, and of course SLIMES. Today's episode features guest ideas from Morgan Evans and Joe Stanton! Thanks guys!
