Claudia Sheinbaum anuncia proyectos ambiciosos para Tepic En un encuentro con medios de comunicación en la ciudad de Tepic, la candidata a la presidencia de la República por la coalición 'Juntos Sigamos Haciendo Historia', Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, reveló una serie de proyectos que tiene contemplados para el desarrollo de la capital nayarita. Fuera cual fuese su intención, sus planes vitales cambiaron en 1810, cuando la insurgencia estalló en Nueva España, y el situadodejó de llegar a California. ¿Cómo se adaptó a este cambio estructural De la Guerra y Noriega, entre 1811 y 1821, en sus negociaciones con comerciantes internacionales de Manila a San Blas y Lima para abastecer California? En el contexto de desmoronamiento del Imperio Español, seguimos la microhistoria de la red mercantil de Noriega, que se adaptó al contexto macroeconómico generado por la transformación política en la cuenca del Pacífico y por la independencia mexicana de España. La De la Guerra Collection en la Biblioteca-Archivo de la Misión Santa Bárbara revela que el centro emergente de México para el comercio del Pacífico fue Guadalajara, con San Blas como su puerto principal. Con la independencia de México en 1821, De la Guerra había establecido Santa Bárbara, en California, como el centro de negocios de su familia, en lugar de la Ciudad de México. Incluso cuando los comerciantes de Manila se relocalizaron a Tepic, mantuvo sus lazos con ellos. También comerció con los británicos en el Callao de Perú, gracias a lo cual pudo enviar a su hijo a educarse en Liverpool con la familia Brotherston. La senadora del PAN Xóchitl Gálvez respondió al presidente López Obrador sobre los contratos de la empresa de la aspirante a la presidencia por más de mil 500 millones de pesos. Gálvez dice que AMLO miente al decir que tiene contratos por esa cantidad y aclara que ha ganado licitaciones a lo largo de cuatro sexenios por 46 millones de pesos. Xóchitl reta al presidente a demostrar lo dicho en la mañanera y que, si lo hace, ella misma renuncia a la candidatura. La madrugada del 14 de julio una serie de detonaciones paralizaron la zona limítrofe de Reynosa y Río Bravo en Tamaulipas. Fraccionamientos aledaños aseguraron haber escuchado las detonaciones. Por la hora, trabajadores de una maquiladora iban rumbo a su trabajo, por lo que, al escuchar las detonaciones, tuvieron que cubrirse para evitar ser impactados por el fuego cruzado. La vocería de seguridad pública invita a evitar la zona, pues es una situación de riesgo para la población. Tras el asesinato del reportero Luis Martín Sánchez de La Jornada en Tepic, Nayarit, su hija dice que las autoridades no les han dado una respuesta clara sobre el porqué asesinaron a su padre. Comentó que después del asesinato del reportero, únicamente hicieron el procedimiento de sepultura y después se fueron de capital nayarita. Teresa Sánchez asegura que la labor de su padre como periodista no era fuera de lo común, por lo que no se imagina el motivo de su secuestro y posterior asesinato. Teresa asegura que van a hacer lo que esté en sus manos para que se haga justicia. Ricardo Aguilar, abogado de la jueza Angélica Sánchez, habla de su liberación tras permanecer recluida en las instalaciones del penal de Pacho Viejo. El jurista explica que es una extensión dentro del juicio de amparo y explica cuáles medidas se tomaron al separarla del cargo. He currently hosts “Buena Vibra” (Good Vibes) a Radio show on K-Love 107.5FM in Los Angeles and also serves as Senior correspondent for “Despierta America” Univision's National Syndicated TV morning show. He is Two time Daytime Emmy Award winner and Three time GLAAD Award recipient. Based in Los Angeles, has hosted many Univision Network special shows including the Rose Parade, El Grito celebrating Mexico's Independence Day, and Teleton.  Sandoval has been part of the Univision family since 2004. On October 11, 2018 Luis came out as gay during a live broadcast of “Despierta America” with the intention of creating awareness of the issues that LGBTQ+ young Latinos face in America, becoming the first and only out Latino TV personality in Spanish media in the US. On TV, Sandoval is known for reporting on human-interest stories, parodies and humorous segments. He also has conducted numerous interviews with Hispanic and Hollywood celebrities, which can be seen in his witty entertainment pieces. Luis Sandoval is a dynamic personality with unparalleled talent, a laugh-out-loud sense of humor and a tremendous ability to transmit positive energy through any platform. His gift for connecting with people on a personal level is the reason audiences across the country have fallen in love with his charm. Mitch and the team are joined by Peter Iliyn, a servant leader who dives deep into his family history and the principles he learned from people like Holocaust survivor Vicktor Frankl, world leader Desmond Tutu, and, most importantly, Peter's own father. The show begins as Mitch introduces Peter Iliyn, a 45-year veteran of Youth With a Mission, the largest non-profit of its kind in the world. They dive into the great debate on whether college is a good choice for those with entrepreneurial spirits. Peter reminds us that passion should be the driving force behind purpose and that if you don't take the first step, there will never be a second. The conversation shifts to Peter's father, a man so interesting that Peter wrote a book about his life. Through nightly conversation with his dad, Peter learned leadership principles that can't be found in a textbook or classroom, including one where his dad endured a public, verbal lashing of his dad's abilities…and the surprising way his father responded to hearing so many painful criticisms about himself. Mitch asks Peter about his favorite leadership principle and Peter responds with the principle of empowerment from the top down. There's lots of conversation about security in who you are as a person and a leader and being able to turn criticism into a better version of yourself. Mitch brings up a quote from his own time with Youth With a Mission -- You don't know you're a servant until you're treated like one – which sparks a conversation about humility and servant leadership. Peter recalls the time he was surrounded by dozens of world leaders, but that Desmond Tutu was the only one who truly exemplified servant leadership. We could give you the background of the next segment, but we believe this quote can stand on its own: Dude, what is your problem? You farted. Moving on from that odiferous conversation, the pair settle on discussing Peter's favorite leadership principle – having a vision that's greater than your reach. Peter brings up Nazi Concentration Camp survivor Viktor Frankl and Viktor's discovery about the human spirit. The interview wraps up on three key topics – does Peter buy into the idea that an entrepreneur doesn't have to own a company or a product, a bottom-up leadership model, and what 2021 Peter would say to 25-year-old Peter if he could. After such a deep conversation, Peter and Mitch are hungry and Peter recommends a quick flight to Tepic, Nayarit, Mexico. He wants to go to Marlin de Tepic Restaurante de Marsicos and order the Pescado Zarandeado, a red snapper, smothered in chili and Mexican spices, basted continuously while being slowly smoked over mesquite. It's served with fresh greens and a Mexican lime and salt dressing. Table Talk: After introducing The Whole Enchilada team – Gil, Erin, and Isaac – the group launches into their own personal takeaways from the interview. Erin cites the story of Senator Ted Cruz of Texas and his major gaffe during Texas' legendary snowpocalypse in February. He made his mistake, he owned it, and he moved on. Mitch sees things a little differently but agrees that the humility to admit you're wrong is a key principle for all leaders. It all goes back to the story of Peter's dad being called out publicly – and the way he responded to it. Isaac picks up the conversation by going back to Holocaust survivor Viktor Frankl and his quote “Living without a goal is death about to arrive.” Isaac relates this to his own season of life, as he embarks on social media consultancy. The goal is big…but taking small, meaningful steps makes it easier to reach the top. Also…how do you eat an elephant? Gil, with lots of humility, states that he has picked out the most important leadership principle thus far; the secret sauce of corporate communications: storytelling. Gil incorporates Peter Guber, CEO of Mandalay Entertainment, and his philosophies of how to make your story your strategic plan. Finally, Mitch chimes in with his favorite principle: treat people with greatness. He goes back to the Desmond Tutu story and waxes philosophical about being in the presence of greatness but not knowing it until later. Growth as a leader means learning to recognize greatness in its rawest form.
