Il New York Times, ad esempio, ha già fatto qualche rivelazione che però, sostanzialmente, non aggiunge nulla a quanto già sapessimo, anzi, per essere più precisi, a quanto non sapessimo...Infatti, la relazione dei servizi segreti americani sembra si limiti ad affermare che non esiste alcuna prova che i numerosi fenomeni aerei che sono, comunque, stati certificati da qualificate testimonianze del personale militare, siano riconducibili a "astronavi aliene". Ma al tempo stesso, “non è nemmeno possibile escluderlo". L'unica cosa realmente appurata dall'inchiesta è che non si tratta di tecnologia americana. Ed è questo, probabilmente, l'aspetto che maggiormente preoccupa il Pentagono, riguardo all'ormai settantennale mistero: se, infatti, le stupefacenti prestazioni di questi Uap, allo stato attuale, non sono assolutamente alla portata della ricerca e dell'industria aerospaziali statunitensi, chi può escludere assolutamente che non si tratti, invece, di velivoli realizzati da potenze rivali come Russia o Cina?
