"Hello. Welcome. We all know why you're here." Now if you've heard these words and immediately know who we are talking about, then we know which side of TikTok you're on. On this snack box episode of the Mad Marketing Mum's podcast we're going to check out the TikTok phenomenon that is ReesaTeesa. ReesaTeesa started a series on TikTok that she's called "Who the F*** Did I Marry?" It's catapulted her from a few thousand followers to over a million in a matter of days. You read that right. In a matter of days she's surpassed 1 million followers.Three weeks after her first post of the series she has over 3 million followers, and endorsements from Delta AIrlines, Hilton Hotels and has also received a new car from BMW. Her content is ticking all of the boxes on the TikTok trends report that we highlighted in episode 46. We don't believe ReesaTeesa has read the report (probably doesn't know it even exists), but her series just perfectly aligns with the trends that TikTok is predicting are going to really take off in 2024. So we thought that today for our Snackbox recording that we would walk through how she's understood the assignment when it comes to TikTok and what TikTok is looking for in 2024.Connect with us on Instagram and TikTok @madmarketingmums and tell us what you think about this episode.

PLEASE NOTE: We had a number of technical issues with this recording and it is a little jumbled in parts. Ella does share a lot of great tips so it's worth a listen.______LinkedIn - you either love it or hate it, it seems. Regardless of personal preference, there's no denying the potential this powerhouse platform has to offer small businesses.According to the annual Digital Trust Report by Business Insider Intelligence, LinkedIn was the most trusted social media platform for 5 years running, up until 2022 when Pinterest took the top spot (we all can figure out why. Where were we? At home, not networking). The report states that people feel LinkedIn is the place that shows the least amount of fake news and spammy content, it's the platform where we feel the safest to share, post and comment, and where we feel our personal data is most secure.LinkedIn is now 20 years old - which is no mean feat in terms of social media staying power and, while you might think LinkedIn is the Boomer Dad of social platforms, it's safe to say you could be missing out on creating genuine connections with potential clients if you're not considering it in your social media mix.So if you've been wondering if LinkedIn is the right platform for your service-based business, stick around. Joining us today to explore this platform's possibilities and pitfalls is personal branding coach, social media trainer, and LinkedIn expert, Ella Orr from @muchmoresocial. Have you ever worked with the wrong client? It can be painful for all involved when there's a clash in values, working style or personal boundaries. This problem is common among service providers (especially early on in their business) who may, despite the red flags, proceed to work with wrong-fit clients for financial reasons or due to a lack of confidence to push back when it doesn't feel right - resulting in feeling drained, wasted time, or reputational damage. This episode kicks off with an anonymous post Clem saw in a Facebook group from a freelancer who has found herself in a position where her personal values clash with those of her client. She now faces the dilemma of whether or not to continue working with said client. So how did it get to this point? And, more importantly, how can this be avoided? This episode covers some of the ways you can pre-qualify potential clients with your content and application process to avoid clashes in values, budget, and personality and set realistic expectations for your future working relationships.Read the full show notes and book an audit at https://www.madmarketingmums.com/episode21Connect with us on Instagram and TikTok @madmarketingmums and tell us what you think about this episode.
