Here are the three big things to know this hour— Number One— A top US hospital is the target of an ad campaign—calling it out for its extreme woke positions and policies— Number Two— Apple is racing to secure manufacturing of its iPhone and other products—and it looks like Vietnam may land the big contracts at least in the near future—as they are working a deal with President Trump— Number Three— The Trump Administration is not playing games when it comes to the safety of American citizens – as evidenced by the very effective meeting between President Trump and El Salvadorian President Nayib Bukele Monday.
Trump's "Home Grown" Attack on US Citizens. Trump told the El Salvadorian President he would need to build five more prisons where Trump could send American Citizens that he wants to deport. And, he said that he doesn't know what the laws are concerning his ability to deport US Citizens to an El Salvadorian prison. Robb's nomination for who had "The Dumbest Week in the Administration." Doug Pagitt and Robb Ryerse will discuss that sick reality and the rest of the week's news as Trump continues to harm the country through foolishness, ignorance, and arrogance.

There's no other way to do that.” “If you just focus on the end result, you'll be miserable for a very long time. It's about the process.” “You have to go through the most challenging and difficult time you've ever faced. You're gonna have to go through pain to get there because purpose is on the other side of pain.” “There is always something good in everything.” “Sometimes the most valuable lesson you can learn is what not to do—not necessarily what to do.” “We're all born with a particular set of gifts and talents—and your purpose is the combination of those gifts and your life experiences.” “In the traditional schooling system, we often forget our inborn genius. We try to adapt to other people's values and expectations, and in this process, we often forget the gift we were born with.” “Any idea has potential.” “Not having preconceived ideas—and keeping everything open—sometimes creates miracles.” “Information is overloaded, and the longer we live, the more it becomes too much. So what you do with that information is much more important than the information itself.” “Imperfect action is always better than a perfect plan.” USEFUL RESOURCES: https://mashamalka.com/ https://www.linkedin.com/in/theoneminutecoach/ https://www.instagram.com/masha_malka/ https://www.facebook.com/masha.malka https://x.com/mashamalka https://www.youtube.com/@MashaMalka The One Minute Coach to Mastering Your Emotions: A Step-by-Step Guide to Feeling Happy on a Regular Basis (https://a.co/d/h4J6XXh) The One Minute Coach: Change Your Life One Minute at a Time (https://a.co/d/a1Yv4hh) CONNECT WITH JOHN Website - https://iamjohnhulen.com Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/johnhulen Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/johnhulen X - https://x.com/johnhulen LinkedIn - https://www.linkedin.com/in/johnhulen YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCLX_NchE8lisC4NL2GciIWA EPISODE CREDITS Intro and Outro music provided by Jeff Scheetz - https://jeffscheetz.com/

Today, on the Two Mikes, we were lucky enough to have another chance of speaking with Colonel Richard Black (ret'd) always a sound and incisive voice on the proper conduct of U.S. foreign policy. Colonel Black is a former Marine fighter pilot and the former chief of the criminal Law Division at the Pentagon. He also long served as Senator in the upper house of the Virginia Legislature, and so is also a very sound voice on U.S. domestic politics. We first spoke about the confirmation of Kash Patel as U.S. Attorney General. Colonel Black said that Patel has a hard row to hoe as out of 11,000 FBI officers, at least 40-percent had before the election been assigned to trying to screw around with the lives of Republican activists, suppress their political voices, and so make them inclined to withdraw from politics. Patel, he said, is faced with a horribly corrupt and anti-American FBI that has nothing but contempt and disdain for American Citizens. Moving on to foreign policy, Colonel Black noted that, in Gaza, The U.S. government is doing nothing more than trying to evict people who have long lived there, and who have, since 1948, seen their land increasingly and deliberately absorbed by Israel with nearly complete U.S. backing, and, at times, cheerleading. It is absolutely clear that this proposed eviction of the Palestinians is squarely powered by hatred for the Palestinians, as there are no Jews living in Gaza and only about one-percent of the population is Christian. We also have learned that Biden's administration was funding al-Qaeda and other Islamist groups in Syria and so paid for the destruction and removal of Assad's regime, and warded power to a grotesque group of organizations who specialize in violence, and especially in the rape of women and young children. On the brighter side of foreign policy, Colonel Black said that President Trump deserves great credit for moving ever closer to ending the war in Ukraine, a war which the media re now reporting has cost U.S. taxpayers more than $300 billion, much of which seems to have disappeared into the hands of Zelensky and other gangsters, perhaps including some well- known American names. Colonel Black also pointed to the coming showdown in Europe over the issue of the continued existence of the European Union, which is one the most undemocratic government executive branches ever created. That branch is appointed not elected. Between all-out support for the Ukraine War, and the bankrupting amounts spent on combatting the fraud known as “climatism”, and unlimited and culture-murdering illegal immigration the EU seems intent on destroying the European section of Western Civilization. In closing Colonel Mike asked Senator Black if the Republicans can take both houses of the Virginia legislature in 2025? Senator Black said there is a chance that the party can take back the House of Delegates, but, on the whole, the Republicans still face a state-wide situation in which DEI stands deeply entrenched in much of Virginia. AP correspondent Ed Donahue reports on a plan for people to benefit from the Trump administration federal job cuts.
In this episode of Passing Judgment, we delve into the Trump administration's controversial federal buyout plan aimed at reducing the workforce. Jessica is joined by expert guest Tami Luhby to unpack the deferred resignation offer's complexities, union opposition, and the vagueness surrounding its terms. We explore how these workforce reductions could impact government services and the ongoing legal battles related to this initiative. Here are three key takeaways you don't want to miss:Federal Buyout Plan: The Trump administration aimed to downsize the federal workforce, incorporating a controversial program called the deferred resignation offer. Approximately 2 million federal employees were offered this program, where 77,000 accepted the resignation offer. However, there was confusion and reported ineligibility among recipients.Legal Proceedings: A Boston judge twice paused the program, considering the unions' claims, but ultimately decided they lacked standing, supporting the administration's effort to proceed with the buyout program.Impact on Services: The reduction in workforce potentially affects various essential services such as Social Security and Veterans Affairs, leading to concerns about extended wait times and disrupted services for the public.Follow Our Host: @LevinsonJessica@Luhby

The Nazi regime that came to power in Germany in 1933 unleashed the most brutal and comprehensive war that humanity has ever seen. The horrors of the Nazis and the destruction they left behind is something most of us learned about in history class, but for Gerd Schroth it is the story of his childhood. Born in Germany in 1938, Gerd came of age on the scorched earth left behind by the German war machine. Gerd's father had joined the Nazi party because he thought Hitler could restore Germany's greatness, but he bequeathed to his children a world in ruins. More than seven decades after the end of World War II, Gerd is still writing the story of his life. He is now an American citizen, and his children were born in the United States. Gerd has moved on from the tragedy of his youth, but he has never forgotten it. He has thought a lot about how his parents' generation and why they embraced the horrifying ideology of Nazism. He has found value in past traditions while abhorring the actions of his ancestors. And in doing this, he has built a much stronger legacy for future generations. In this episode of The Road to Now, we share Gerd Schroth's personal story of his life as a Citizen of Nazi Germany, refugee, immigrant, and now, American Citizen. We are reairing this episode in honor of Mr. Schroth, who passed away in January of 2025. This episode originally aired on September 18, 2017 and was edited and produced by Bob Crawford and Pete Schroth.

PART 2: This afternoon Joe began a conversation on how there appears to be coordinated pushback against Trump's America first immigration agenda. Noting Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy push to bring “high-skilled” foreign workers to the US, and how we are now hearing that the agricultural industry is calling to bring cheap labor from illegal aliens. Later Joe welcomes guest Harrison Floyd to the show to discuss the MAGA agenda along with predictions on what is to come in 2025. Following Harrisons departure, Joe and Apollo hit on topics surrounding media, the incoming Trump administration, reports of bird flu, Ukrainian dark money, and more!

It's Thanksgiving, Thursday, November 28th, A.D. 2024. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard on 125 radio stations and at www.TheWorldview.com. I'm Adam McManus. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Jonathan Clark 673 incidents of persecution of Christians in India Christians face daily persecution in 23 of India's 28 states. Such persecution includes physical violence, murder, threats, damage to property, and disruption of prayer services. A.C. Michael with United Christian Forum said, “In 2023, we recorded about 750 incidents, which means two Christians were attacked every day in our country. These are organized acts of violence by pro-Hindu groups targeting Christian faiths.” The organization's latest report documented 673 incidents of violence and discrimination this year between January and October. India is ranked 11th on the Open Doors' World Watch List of nations where it is most difficult to be a Christian. Ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah Israel agreed to a ceasefire with Hezbollah militants in Lebanon that went into effect yesterday. This brings a two-month pause to 14 months of fighting between to the two sides in southern Lebanon. The United States and France brokered the agreement. The incoming administration of President-elect Donald Trump claimed credit for the deal. Florida Rep. Mike Waltz is Trump's pick for national security adviser. He posted on X, “Everyone is coming to the table because of President Trump. His resounding victory sent a clear message to the rest of the world that chaos won't be tolerated. I'm glad to see concrete steps towards de-escalation in the Middle East.” China released three detained American citizens Speaking of coming to the table, China released three American citizens it had detained for years. The White House announced the prisoner swap yesterday. The three Americans are Mark Swidan, Kai Li, and John Leung. The United States had designated them as wrongfully detained. This comes just months after China released David Lin, a Christian pastor from California, who was detained for 20 years in China. Judged halted sentencing of 7 pro-life activists Last Tuesday, a federal judge in Michigan halted the sentencing of seven pro-life activists. The pro-lifers were convicted under the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act. Some faced over 10 years in prison for protesting at abortion mills. Judge Matthew Leitman delayed proceedings until after Donald Trump takes office. Trump has already promised to review the cases of those “unjustly victimized by the Biden regime” and get them “back to their families where they belong.” Supreme Court takes up Tennessee transgender case The U.S. Supreme Court will hear arguments in a major transgender case next Wednesday. The case involves a Tennessee law that protects children from transgender drugs and procedures intended to enable children to pretend to be the opposite sex. Tennessee House of Representatives Majority Leader William Lamberth co-sponsored the measure. He told Reuters, “This case is about protecting vulnerable young people who are experiencing gender dysphoria or other mental health crises from making the biggest mistake of their lives.” You can sign a prayer commitment for the case through Alliance Defending Freedom which is linked in today's transcript at TheWorldview.com. U.S. economy grew 2.8% The U.S. economy grew by 2.8% on an annual basis during the third quarter of this year. The Gross Domestic Product is slightly down from 3% during the second quarter. However, the U.S. has seen growth of over 2% for eight out of the last nine quarters. Consumer spending, along with an increase in exports, contributed the latest economic growth. America's history of Thanksgiving The first official National Proclamation of Thanksgiving in America was issued by the Continental Congress on November 1, 1777, in celebration of the victory against the British at the Battle of Saratoga. In 1941, as America confronted a world at war, Congress voted to establish Thanksgiving as a national holiday. In his first Thanksgiving proclamation, President Ronald Reagan wrote: “America has much for which to be thankful. The unequaled freedom enjoyed by our citizens has provided a harvest of plenty to this Nation throughout its history. In keeping with America's heritage, one day each year is set aside for giving thanks to God for all of His blessings. … “Searching our hearts, we should ask what we can do as individuals to demonstrate our gratitude to God for all He has done. Such reflection can only add to the significance of this precious day of remembrance. “Let us recommit ourselves to that devotion to God and family that has played such an important role in making this a great Nation, and which will be needed as a source of strength if we are to remain a great people.” Most popular Thanksgiving verses And finally, Lifeway Research shared the most popular Bible verses during Thanksgiving based on analysis from YouVersion's Bible app. Verses from the Psalms were among the most popular verses in recent years. Lifeway shared 11 verses that appeared on the list of most popular verses at Thanksgiving at least twice during the last five years. Here are the top three: Numbers 6:24-26 says, “May the Lord bless you and protect you; may the Lord make His face shine on you and be gracious to you; may the Lord look with favor on you and give you peace.” 1 Chronicles 16:34 says, “Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His faithful love endures forever.” Psalm 100:4-5 says, “Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him and bless His name. For the Lord is good, and His faithful love endures forever; His faithfulness, through all generations.” Close And that's The Worldview on this Thanksgiving, Thursday, November 28th, in the year of our Lord 2024. Jackie Dubrovich and I had a wonderful conversation about her families historical journey to to America. We also took a few minutes to share our similarities. Interestingly enough, both of us have stories to share of an Olympic experience, but from different perspectives. It was fun to reminisce about my experience at the 1980, XIII Olympic Winter Games in Lake Placid, New York. These particular winter games are remembered for the U.S. Men's Ice Hockey Team's "Miracle on Ice" gold-medal run plus Eric Hieiden's five gold medals in speed skating and so much more. I was a college student at the time and was hired to work in the transportation Dept and drive the athletes and country representatives to and from the Olympic Village into downtown Lake Placid for events and medal ceremonies. Lake Placid is a beautiful town nestled in the middle of the New York Adirondack Mountains. Go for a visit if you ever have an opportunity. It's absolutely beautiful.Ms. Dubrovich couldn't have been more gracious and happy to share stories of her mother and her mom's experience traveling by herself to America from Belarus, to marry the love of her life and become an American Citizen. Just think of the bravery it took for a young woman to board a flight and head into the unknown. She didn't speak english. She had one suitcase with her possessions and fifty dollars in her pocket.Valentina, according to her daughter is one of the hardest working moms she knows. Valentina worked in a Russian food store before coming to the United States. To this day she still works regularly and even on her days off, according to her daughter, "she still works hard." Jackie recalls her mother studying, from books she took out from the local library, for her test to become an American Citizen. Jackie and her parents spoke Russian to one another at home and with other family members. Jackie even continued her Russian studies at Columbia University in New York City . As a first generations American , she completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology, Human Rights and Russian Literature and Culture in 2016.Valentina could never have imagined in her wildest dreams that her daughter would become and Olympic Athlete, let alone a Gold Medalist in Fencing. Jackie and her parents had big dreams and expectations for their daughter, eldest of two children. At times, Jackie definitely felt the pressure to be the best of the best. She regularly recognized her parents high expectations for both she and her younger brother, also a professional athlete. But Jackie got to the point where she had to be able to handle her experiences and career as a professional on her own terms. As a family, they all learned how to communicate better and Jackie's parents learned to step back a little bit to let her handle her trajectory.Jackie and her partner, Brian Kaneshige, have opened a new fencing facility in Orange, New jersey called "Polaris Fencing Center." Both Jackie and Brian wanted to be able to give back to the next generation of kids who may not be able to afford years of training and expenses, yet are passionate about a career in Fencing.Valentina couldn't be more proud of her daughter and her accomplishments. After the pandemic and the 2020 Olympics, Jackie had a tough time. Not really sure if she was interested in training for another four years for the next Olympics. "In Eastern European culture, it's not very common to talk about your feelings, but my parents did a really good job, to know what to say when I was low." Both parents supported her then as well as now.Website: https://www.polarisfencing.com/. @polarisfencingcenterSOCIAL MEDIA:Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/jackiedubrovich/?hl=enLinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/jackiedubrovich/ "Should Have Listened To My Mother" is an ongoing conversation about mothers/female role models and the roles they play in our lives.
