The Independent Movement's Tipping Point. How One Senate Seat And Two Or Three House Seats Are All It Takes To Break Both Parties. For the first time on Independent Americans, Senator Joe Manchin and Heather Manchin sit down with Paul Rieckhoff to lay out exactly how they plan to break the grip of the rigged two-party system. Joe Manchin knows what one honest vote can do — he was the deciding vote in a 50-50 Senate and got more done in the 117th Congress than most Congresses in a generation. Heather Manchin brings the business mind: mapping the billions of dollars flowing left and right, the closed primaries in 16 states that shut independents out, and the digital strategy needed to punch through the echo chambers and actually win. Together, they make the case that this is the tipping point — and that a handful of independent seats in the House and Senate could change everything. And that their efforts through their new Independent Leadership Council initiative can help to propel that change. The conversation goes deep on Montana, where combat veteran Seth Bodnar now has a true three-way shot after the DSCC's preferred Democrat refused to step aside and the GOP hand-picked a Trump rubber stamp. Joe and Heather explain why independent veterans are the natural leaders of this movement, why the "spoiler" slander is draconian and antiquated, and why building a leadership pipeline from mayors and school boards up to the Senate is how you actually rewire American politics. It's a candid, tactical, and deeply hopeful conversation about turning frustration into structural power — and doing it before the 2026 midterms. -WATCH full video of this episode here. -Check out the Independent Leadership Council here. -Millions of American veterans are being locked out of primary elections in the country they served. It says “safety” so how could it be bad? On today's episode, the boys dive into the topic of Flock surveillance – the cameras put up across the nation to spy on everyone that are receiving a propaganda boost recently. In other news, we are one week into the general election in Michigan and there's already so much Discourse™: Kamala Harris endorsed Abdul, zionist Democrats are threatening to vote for Mike Rogers, and Hillary Clinton thinks she's qualified to give advice on winning Michigan. The WNBA was also in the news this week when two washed-up former NBA players announced they were signing up for the WNBA draft to raise awareness about “men in women's sports”. The only men in women's sports are the conservative men that think they're making a point by doing the thing they claim trans women are doing. The Democrat Party is not in crisis. It’s not fighting a civil war. It’s becoming exactly what it has spent years telling us it is: a big tent where socialism isn’t the fringe anymore. It’s the future. Socialist candidates are no longer insurgents trying to overthrow the Democrat establishment. Elected Democrats are embracing them. The radicals didn’t hijack the party. The party welcomed them in, handed them a microphone and called them mainstream. And Democrats have another massive problem: 2028. When Kamala Harris, Gavin Newsom, Pete Buttigieg and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez are your front-runners for president, you stand no chance of winning. This is the Democrat bench. Four candidates carrying the same failed ideology that has driven the party further and further left. I’ll explain why each one could be a disaster at the ballot box. And if you want to see where this ideology leads, look no further than the WNBA. The league is creating a committee to wrestle with one of the most basic questions imaginable: what is a woman? The Women’s National Basketball Association needs help defining “woman.” You cannot make this up. On today’s Stinchfield, the socialist transformation of the Democrat Party is no longer coming. It’s here. And the insanity spreading through our institutions is what happens when common sense becomes controversial. It is now well known that the Biden administration flooded the United States with illegal immigrants utilizing an open-borders policy, but few people discuss the legal mechanisms the Democrats were also using to import foreigners. Brian Chau of Effort News joins me to discuss his latest investigation into the role that religious charities played in importing foreign population, with some groups receiving the majority of their funding from the government for refugee resettlement. We also discuss a California program denying pregnant women health care if they are not black. In this episode of the National Crawford Roundtable the guys discuss the Air Force One switch, done to protect the President, and the media's reaction to it. The guys talk about the latest with the WNBA, Sophie Cunningham, and trans women (biological males) in women's sports. They look into the Socialist takeover of the Democrats, the appeal of socialism, and how a third of Democrats say they welcome socialism. And the guys talk about the upcoming sequel to the 2007 book "The Shack" due out in October of this year. Many Christians embraced the first novel's un-biblical theology of Universalism, and there is a warning to Christians to not fall for the feel-good counterfeit Christianity of this new sequel the way so many did with the first book in 2007.

A federal watchdog says some guidelines meant to improve the response to Missing and Murdered Indigenous People (MMIP) are falling short of federal requirements. That is according to an audit from the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ)'s Office of Inspector General. The watchdog reviewed guidelines from 49 U.S. Attorneys' districts developed under Savanna's Act. The law was passed in 2020 to improve coordination between tribal, federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies responding to MMIP cases. The Inspector General found guidelines from 10 of the 49 districts did not fully meet requirements under the law. Seven were missing at least one of six required sections, while eight were not adequately tailored to circumstances within their individual districts. The audit also found staffing shortages within the DOJ's MMIP Regional Outreach Program. As of February, four of the program's 10 positions were vacant. The Inspector General says vacancies and staff turnover have slowed the program's progress. The office made three recommendations, including addressing staffing shortages and bringing district guidelines into compliance. The Executive Office for U.S. Attorneys agreed with all three. Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan addresses her supporters during her Primary Night party. (Courtesy Peggy Flanagan / Facebook) Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan (White Earth Nation/D-MN) has won the Democratic primary for U.S. Senate. The Associated Press called the race for Flanagan Tuesday night. She defeated U.S. Rep. Angie Craig (D-MN) in the Democratic-Farmer-Labor primary. The win puts Flanagan one step closer to making history. If elected in November, she would become the first Native American woman to serve in the U.S. Senate. Flanagan has served as Minnesota's lieutenant governor since 2019 and is the highest-ranking Native woman elected to executive office in the U.S. During her campaign, Flanagan focused on issues including health care and affordability. She also campaigned against corporate influence in politics. Peggy Flanagan’s note to her supporters. (Courtesy Peggy Flanagan / Facebook) She is running for the seat held by U.S. Sen. Tina Smith (D-MN), who is not seeking reelection. Flanagan will face Republican Michele Tafoya in the November general election. The Associated Press called that primary for the former NFL sideline reporter in a crowded Republican race. The Clean Air Act requires uranium waste storage pits at the White Mesa mill near Blanding, Utah, to be covered in water to control radon gas. (Photos: Dom Smith / EcoFlight) Congressional Democrats have opened an investigation into a uranium mining company for alleged insider trading. KNAU's Chris Clements has more. Energy Fuels Resources CEO Ross Bhappu bought 74,000 shares of stock in his own company on July 7. Chairman of the board Burce Hansen bought 4,000 shares on July 8. Five days after that, President Donald Trump announced a 90% cut to Bears Ears National Monument. That timing is suspicious, says two Democrats on the House Natural Resources Committee. U.S. Reps. Jared Huffman (D-CA) and Maxine Dexter (D-OR) allege the Trump administration may have tipped the company off about the reduction before it happened. The company owns the only conventional uranium mill in the U.S., and there is a lot of uranium underneath Bears Ears – which is now free from a moratorium on new mining claims. The congressmembers say the company stood to benefit from the Bears Ears reduction, but in an emailed statement to KNAU, Energy Fuels denied the allegations and said it was unaware of any evidence supporting the representatives' claims. Politicians love to say, "The only poll that counts is election day." In the last 24 hours, Wisconsin reminded us why that cliche actually matters. Last month, moderate Democrat David Crowley dropped out of the Badger State gubernatorial race. Today, he accepted his party's nomination for governor. Crowley's razor-thin victory - less than 4,000 votes - in a crucial swing state comes at the expense of Democratic Socialist Francesca Hong, who was hoping to ride the recent wave of progressive wins. On today's podcast, Charlie Sykes and Matt discuss:—Why DSA member and failed Wisconsin candidate Francesca Hong was an “absurdly bad candidate” (and why Bernie and AOC stayed away)— How Dems realized they were about to blow a winnable race and hand Wisconsin to an election-denier, so they voted for David Crowley, a candidate who had previously dropped out of the race— Charlie says there are three things every candidate must prove to voters (Hong went 0-for-3)— Matt says 2026 is largely “baked in the cake” as a blue-wave year driven by Trump fatigue, overreach, tariffs, ICE, etc. But! Dems better not take 2028 for granted.— An Independent / Centrist / Unity-Ticket surge has Katie Hobbs (Arizona Democratic governor) picking a Republican running mate, and David Jolly (former Republican Never Trumper congressman) picking a prominent Democrat as running mate in Florida.— Can we trust the polls?— Plus: Trump's catering-truck Air Force One escape, the independent/unity-ticket surge, Minnesota, Michigan, and more.— And MUCH more!Subscribe to Matt Lewis on Substack: https://mattklewis.substack.com/Support Matt Lewis at Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/mattlewisFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/MattLewisDCTwitter: https://twitter.com/mattklewisInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/mattlewisreels/YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCVhSMpjOzydlnxm5TDcYn0A– Who is Matt Lewis? –Matt K. On today’s edition of The Scott Jennings Show, Scott breaks down a busy night of primary elections and what the results could mean for the 2026 midterms. Dustin Grage analyzed Minnesota’s races after Republicans nominated Michele Tafoya for Senate and Lisa Demuth for governor, while Republican strategist Mark Graul examined David Crowley’s narrow victory over Francesca Hong in Wisconsin’s Democratic gubernatorial primary and the broader political landscape in the state. Scott also covered South Carolina’s Republican Senate runoff, major polling misses in recent Democratic primaries, the record-setting sale of the Los Angeles Lakers, and controversy surrounding the Indiana Fever and Sophie Cunningham. Later, political strategist Henry Olsen explored whether Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez should seize the moment and run for president in 2028, and newly minted Republican Senate nominee Michele Tafoya joined Scott to discuss her Minnesota primary victory and upcoming general-election battle against Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
The Cowboy State Daily reported on 8/12 that Eric Barlow recieved $6,500 in PAC donations. That's not even remotely true. The real number is over $220,000.00. Most of it came from one organizations Civil Leadership PAC. Earlier this year, nearly every media source in the state was begging Democrats to switch to the Republican Party. For all of their efforts, it only resulted in a little over 2,000 party changes. That may be enough to flip some districts.
The establishment Democrats struck back and delivered a major upset in Wisconsin's Gubernatorial Primary as heavy favorite Francesca Hong appears to have been defeated. Lisa Demuth won the GOP Minnesota Gubernatorial Primary convincingly. Abdul El-Sayed quietly deleted 100 youtube videos of him calling for gun bans. Jill Biden's former press secretary endorsed Republican Mike Rogers for Senate in Michigan. AOC and her fiance are breaking up (she's running for president). The US House of Representatives is the place where all of the financial business of the nation is conducted. It's of the utmost significance who controls this office of government. Majority rules here and if you're in the minority you have no power whatsoever. The 2026 mid-term elections is another opportunity for the power to swing from Republican to Democrat control and getting up-to-speed on what that means is the topic of this Different Story.
Guest Dr. Brad Thayer, author "America's 100 Years' War", joins to discuss ongoing battle to fight against communism. Discussion of outside forces funding movements in the US, radical ideologs pushing to change the US, and new DSA candidates across the nation. Wisconsin rebounds after "operator error" on voting machines that may have impacted the Democrat governors race. Mamdani and Democrats in NYC push new bill to control Amazon operations within the City. Really?
Pat Brady, SVP of Mercury Public Affairs, former chairman for the Illinois Republican Party, joins Lisa Dent to discuss the results of the Wisconsin, Michigan, and Minnesota primaries and what it means for politics in the area. He later shares his thoughts on the recent candidates who lean further left than traditional Democrats.
The Rod and Greg Show Daily Rundown – Tuesday, August 11, 2026Matt Whitlock, host of 10 Minute Drill on YouTube, joins the program for a conversation about his recent X post claiming that national Democrats are pressuring Democrat Senate candidates to drop out of races to clear the way for hand-picked candidates to run as independents.Kenin Spivak, author and contributor to Real Clear Politics, joins the program for a conversation about his piece on how transgender people and activists will not achieve acceptance if they continue to rely on bullying and lies to get attention.Dr. Brian Joondeph, ophthalmologist, writer and contributor to American Thinker, joins the program for a conversation about his piece on how biology, not gender identity, defines women's sports.ustin Haskins, President and Senior Fellow for Our Republic, joins the show to discuss his piece in USA Today about the NBA's Portland Trailblazers $573 million battle over arena renovations with the city of Portland, Oregon, and why the city's business and political climate may be to blame.
"We the people" becomes "we the victims" when the Republican/Democrat duopoly weaponizes its power to grow government and destroy liberty.
Republicans amp up the fear-mongering on "communism" as Democrats try to move past some of their nominees' most controversial past statements. In the words of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez: "Woke 1 was crazy." Jon and Lovett discuss how Democrats can pivot, today's Democratic primaries in Wisconsin and Minnesota, Trump's desperation to end the war he started, and his newest executive order on vaccines. They also react to the Senate Republicans' YOLO caucus surrendering on Todd Blanche's confirmation, Jesse Watters's disdain for the WNBA, and Hunter Biden's appearance on Tucker Carlson's show. Then, Lovett is joined by Montana congressional candidate and smokejumper Sam Forstag to discuss why he's running for office, the impact of the DOGE cuts, the housing crisis in his state, and more.Hate listening to ads? On Monday's Mark Levin Show, political correctness is running amok in the WNBA. There are two issues facing the WNBA: transgender athletes and racism. A small fraction of athletes - transgenders - are threatening to destroy opportunities for biological women and girls. This is not a civil rights issue. Women have fought for 50 years for equality in sports. That doesn't mean men and women are the same. It means women and girls have the opportunity to flourish in athletics. It's time to make a decision: will a relatively handful of individuals destroy the purpose of a women's sports league? Or will the overwhelmingly biological female athletes compete on a level playing field. The WNBA is a business and the hierarchy and players should treat it as such. The only color that should matter is the color of money: green. Whether it's the men's NBA or the WNBA, people want to see the best athletes, regardless of color. Then, President Trump called out the democratic socialist and jihadist candidates for their radicalism and craziness. They want to eliminate the Senate, Supreme Court, police, military, etc. No other president would talk this way. Also, AOC says she has frozen her eggs. Why the need to announce it? Some things you keep private. She also talked about Francesca Hong, a far-left DSA running for governor of Wisconsin. AOC hedged her bet, saying all politics are local, woke one was crazy she says, and we have to assess what a candidate is saying now. AOC and other leading Democrats aren't endorsing Hong because they think she won't win and want to keep losses to a minimum. As far as Abdul El-Sayed, she's excited, saying it's a time of renewal for the Democratic party. Then, Bernie Sanders knows Hong can't win in Wisconsin. He was asked why he doesn't endorse her if her positions line up with his and he fell back on the old, tired trope: tax the rich. El-Sayed says he differs with Bernie on capitalism, saying we live under "corporatism." El-Sayed is a jihadist, an Islamist, and a bald-faced liar. Finally, in defense of AIPAC: El-Sayed complained they plan to spend $3.8 million against him next week. The Dems are making AIPAC - and Israel - the defining issues of the midterm elections. El-Sayed says the money the U.S. sends to Israel should be spent here on healthcare, etc. Facts: the U.S. spent $7 Trillion last year. Israel received $3.8 billion...in other words, five one-hundredths of 1% of total federal spending. In return, the U.S. gets an indispensable ally. AIPAC is an American organization serving American interests. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices

President Trump and the Secret Service were forced to secretly switch planes last month after receiving a credible threat from Iran, and the mainstream media are losing their minds about it. What was a well-executed security measure to keep President Trump safe has since been spun into a so-called “scandal” by the media. The White House has been cracking down on visa fraud, and now the administration is taking the show on the road. I was joined in Texas by Labor Department Inspector Anthony D'Esposito to hunt down H-1B scammers. Meanwhile, Rep. Shri Tanedar (D-Mich.) keeps simping for H-1B visas and fighting to import more immigrants. Hillary Clinton is back to doing what she does best — complaining about Donald Trump. She is still butthurt about losing the 2016 election. As Americans grapple with higher housing, grocery, and everyday costs, Buck argues that telling frustrated voters to spend less or cook at home simply misses the bigger political problem. He explains how economic anxiety could become a major vulnerability for Republicans and why AOC is positioning herself to capitalize on it. Buck also looks ahead to 2028 and makes the case for why Republicans should take AOC seriously as an increasingly formidable force in the Democratic Party.
