A striking new poll finds Democrat Mary Peltola leading GOP Senator Dan Sullivan by 46-41 in the Alaska Senate race. This is big news: Because quality polling of Alaska is so rare, it's a real indicator that a Senate majority is now truly gettable for Democrats. The poll also finds Trump badly underwater and absolutely tanking with independents—in Alaska! The kicker? The survey was done for AARP by Trump pollster Tony Fabrizio, along with Democratic pollster John Anzalone, so Republicans will take it very seriously. Indeed, GOP panic is worsening: Republicans are privately talking about pulling money out of the Georgia Senate race. Other GOP operatives warn that the party is bleeding Latinos. One GOP strategist expressed the state of play by sending a poop emoji to a Huffpost reporter. Something broader—a series of cultural collisions occurring at roughly the same moment.In Dearborn, video circulated showing a group of Black men confronting a Muslim community representative after Arab men allegedly menaced a Black woman, stole her purse, and damaged her car.The men didn't arrive with diversity consultants.There was no PowerPoint presentation titled Building Bridges Through Intentional Listening. Nobody passed around a talking stick. These men delivered a much older message:You don't disrespect one of ours.[X] SB – Detroit Blacks v Muslims 1They put on notice.We still piss.I've been trying to be cool…Disrespect…yo culture They challenged the men allegedly responsible to come forward. They talked about holding a block party in that neighborhood. Their point was unmistakable: Black people were not going to be intimidated, displaced, or instructed to accept disrespect in the name of somebody else's culture.But this may be about more than defending one woman.This could expose a fault line inside the Left's political coalition.For decades, Democrats have treated Black Americans, Muslims, immigrants, feminists, Hispanics, Asians, and practically every other designated minority as members of one permanent political family. They call it a coalition.But sometimes a coalition is just several people sharing an Uber until they discover they're going to different addresses.I wrote in Sexy Brilliance that Muslim political organizations would adopt tactics pioneered by Black Leftist activists: organize around identity, claim institutional mistreatment, consolidate voting power, demand accommodations, and convert demographic influence into political authority.We have watched versions of that strategy develop among Somalis in Minnesota and Muslims in Dearborn. On Friday's Mark Levin Show, there are seven Democratic Jewish Senators, including Chuck Schumer and John Ossoff who embrace Jew hatred and antisemitism, putting party and political interests ahead of what is moral and right. It's simple: Jew haters are America haters. This week on the Mark Levin Show, the Declaration of Independence is the clearest statement of America's founding principles. The United States was uniquely founded on a fusion of Judeo-Christian values and Enlightenment principles, combining faith, morality, reason, and natural rights while rejecting theocracy. America's founding principles allow individuals to hold diverse beliefs, including atheism and agnosticism, while preserving freedom of thought and religion. Islamism and Marxism are incompatible with American founding ideals because they reject natural law, natural rights, and the reasoning embodied in the Declaration of Independence. Remember all the fearmongering over things like DDT, e-oli, gas lawn mowers, and masks during COVID? Remember when climate change was supposed to cause sea levels to rise? But Barack Obama and others want to either kill this new industry or want the government to take it over. Bernie Sanders even said AI is more dangerous than nukes! Don't be a sucker. Don't give in to fearmongering. We need this new technology, and America must win the AI race. Republicans have abandoned their focus on affordability and instead shifted their attention to opposing or regulating data centers; they're chasing the latest political issue rather than addressing real concerns. Republicans are allowing Democrats and the media to shape their agenda, affordability remains a major problem and should be a priority. Groundbreaking developments should be left free from government interference because bureaucrats and politicians lack the expertise to direct innovation. Calls for greater regulation are driven by a desire for power and control rather than practical solutions. We need deregulation, limited government involvement, and allowing innovation and technological development to proceed with minimal restrictions. In one case, during the development of a specific A.I. model, the system wrote hidden notes to remind itself to hide errors from users. Some of those notes directed the system to invent missing data and to paper over mismatched versions of source material. A new Politico poll finds that 63 % of Americans say the technology poses at least a moderate risk of *destroying humanity*. Voters are increasingly recognizing the need for change and policies focused on job creation, economic growth, tax and regulation cuts, lower utility costs, and restoring law and order. Also, many members of Congress lack expertise in AI and data centers yet seek to regulate them. AI development is a competitive race that the United States must win. Any regulation would hinder innovation while allowing other countries to advance.
