On this week's episode, we convince you to get paranoid about your pet cat and how they might be orchestrating your imminent demise with Kid vs. Kat. A deliberate throwback to the classic adversarial Coyote and Roadrunner cartoons, we find ourselves talking about what we would call a "modern classic" from Rob Boutilier - the current name behind Apple Tv's Peanuts franchise. Episode covered for the podcast is Episode 12 "House of Scream/Planter's Warp." Written by Roger Fredericks and Leslie Midiner. Storyboarded by Jamie LeClaire and Kent Webb. Directed by Rob Boutilier, Josh Mepham, and Greg Sullivan. Original airdate May 2, 2009. This week's guest talks turkey! DISCO TURKEYS, that is! A co-owner and President of Gameday Operations of the Carolina Disco Turkeys, Greg Sullivan joins the Lounge! The Disco Turkeys are a first-year team in the All-American Amateur Baseball Association (AAABA), and Greg talks about how the team came about! What led him to want to take ownership of a baseball team? What did he do before this venture? WHERE IN THE WORLD DID THE NAME DISCO TURKEYS COME FROM FOR THE NAME? He answers them all!Richey asks how they go about getting the players for the team. Since they are an amateur baseball league, where do the players get housed? In a year that we've gone through, Greg tells about the hurdles that come from that, and what they are doing to try and keep everyone safe according to guidelines.Sam brings up that they are in The Lounge, and they have the Disco Turkeys owner hanging out, and that SHOULD mean there should be SOME SORT of official relationship... Greg agreed! SO, the Carolina Disco Turkeys became the Official Team of the 500 Section Lounge! We have audio proof... IT HAPPENED, and IT IS BINDING... we think! The guys asked about game day. How busy has it been, up to the time of recording? What kind of promotional nights are there? DO FANS GET TO KEEP FOUL BALLS? Being a league with teams so close, how far are the road trips? Quick-Show Notes:In this episode of The Millionaire's Lawyer, JP and Greg Sullivan discuss:The Financial Planning industry has changed in the following ways since COVID-19:A higher level of uncertaintyLargest Financial deficit the Government has been inNumbers are the easy part, it is the client's emotions that are the hard part. The best investment portfolios are the ones that are diversified. The more diverse the portfolio, the more return you should see.Over the next 10 years, the top 10 will have changes, and only two may stay.Real Estate:Great AssetHow would you want to own?If you have numerous Rental Properties you may want to look into incorporation an LLC (Limited Liability Company).Greg had created a corporation based on what he would want in a financial planner, and has defined a new way of doing things that is now the norm!Greg Sullivan 's business has been built of referrals, and client retention is astronomical. SBSB really takes on the clients and all the clients financial needs.Wealth PlanningTaxesEstateRetirementAnd much more!Make sure you have done your correct due diligence. Do due diligence even on the financial advisor you are going to see, you want to be sure and know you are making the right choice.Things to think about:Set up a proper portfolioChildren - make them still have to earn things; do not allow them to feel entitled to be on the payroll for their lifetime,Banks are strapped with regulation and compliance and are way more complicated than working with an independent advisor.Harder to make decisions within the bank since there are more staff to consider and more parties needing to be involved.Independent planners have more freedom and fewer hoops to jump through.Connect with Greg Sullivan:WebsiteLinkedInBook: Retirement Fail Connect with your host, JP:TwitterInstagramFacebookWebsiteShow:LinkedInEmail: jpmcavoy@conductlaw.comPhone: 1-833-890-8878THANK YOU TO OUR SPONSOR:Conduct LawWebsite

Dave and Erik interviewed No Barriers supporters, business leaders, and co-founders of AFAR Media, Joe Diaz and Greg Sullivan for this episode’s podcast. AFAR Media is a critically acclaimed, multi-platform media company. Founded by Diaz and co-founder Greg Sullivan in 2009, AFAR inspires, guides, and enables the world’s best travelers to have deeper, richer, and more fulfilling experiences. AFAR’s innovative and award-winning platforms include AFAR Magazine, AFAR.com, AFAR Experiences, AFAR in Residence, and AFAR Conversations. Ten years ago, when they launched AFAR Media, they also joined forces with No Barriers Youth to also launch Learning AFAR, which provides travel experiences to high school students from low income families. Over 1,500 students have been given life changing experiences through this joint program. Greg started his career as a corporate securities attorney and later an investment banker before launching a series of successful entrepreneurial ventures, including the world’s largest selling coin-operated basketball game manufacturer and the second largest used car sales and finance company in the USA. He currently also serves on the board of directors of Carvana, the leading online car retailer. For Joe Diaz: in addition to his daily responsibilities at AFAR, Joe is an accomplished speaker and frequently lends his expertise on a variety of topics, including travel trends, startups, brands, entrepreneurship, innovation through digital media, and more.Starting with a pivotal trip to India in 2009, Joe and Greg were quickly inspired to share their love of travel with the world. They see travel as not just glamorous or escapism but as a way to instead seek and discover meaning, purpose, and connection in their lives. They realized that there was a lack of resources for global travelers that explored the transformative power of travel. They wanted to start a magazine and literally went on amazon to order books on how to begin that process. Joe and Greg discuss these humble beginnings as well as what “transformative and experiential travel” means to them:“It starts with a mindset, that travel isn’t something you do two weeks out of the year but an approach you take to life. That you’re curious about the world and want to really get off the tour bus and sit at the kitchen table. It’s a spirit - everytime you walk out your front door you take it with you.” - JoeThey offer planning tips to get out in the world in more meaningful ways and how to take advantage of the resources and mission driven organizations that are out there to assist. It doesn’t always mean following an itinerary - you can volunteer or “spin the globe.” Greg and Joe speak to the value of guides and trip builders who help craft experiences for clients to get the most impact. “What does ‘been to’ mean? How many kitchen tables have you set at? Take part in experiential and deep-dive travel.” - GregOur guests discuss how to be open and curious during your day to day. How to start conversations with the people you encounter in your everyday experiences like commuting and grabbing coffee. With the No Barriers program, Learning AFAR, Greg and Joe wanted to expand these amazing opportunities to people that don’t have the financial means. Not everyone has access or funds to hop on a plane and get to another continent. Providing programs that allow underprivileged kids to experience different cultures and languages gives them a new perspective on life. And the most rewarding part is that they return wanting to do more for others.“How do you put a value on that??” - Greg“And now they can pay that forward.” - JoeJoe did a TEDx Talk where he talks about this: After years of traveling, Joe found that the most dangerous worldview is that of those who have never viewed the world. The more we travel, the more we learn and the less we fear our world. We can help people to fear less.Ultimately it is invaluable to know your neighbors and treat our planet with care and that is the message that Greg and Joe are sharing with others with their travel company and No Barriers programming. It's too easy to get caught up in the activity of a business and just focusing on the day-to-day activities and the hiring of people and changing your business that we stop the learning process. And I mean learning in new areas not just in your skill set. But the reading of books that are outside of your normal skill area. Welcome to the real twilight zone, the one they will tell you does not exist. New York born Greg Sullivan, mentored by world renowned disclosure expert Dr. Steven Greer, has been teaching ET contact protocols in Japan for years and has a truly unique story to tell of how high level obfuscation, cover ups and sheer bad will have clouded this single most important issue for all of us (in my humble opinion) i.e. extraterrestrial contact. Dr. Greer's decades long effort to clear a path through this murky story have been exemplary and have culminated in the Netflix film Unacknowledged. Greg shows us how not only is disinformation about UFO phenomena the norm but that they are being manipulated through ARV. These are human made and piloted Alien Reproduction Vehicles that form a part of the extraordinary narrative he shares with us. Throughout Japan Greg has taught people how to make contact, film it and document it in a way that is both enlightening and highly enjoyable, thus arresting the tired old image of 'nasty aliens who abduct people'. That was always a con job from the start by three letter agencies. As a contactee myself with years of experience in the field I can attest to the veracity of his statements and fully support both his and Dr. Greer's work. Greg Sullivan is a great example of a man with a clear mission, one that is vitally important now in Japan to clear away so much of the UFO nonsense still being peddled. Bravo!
