Bi se kot družba morali bati morilskih robotov ali toksičnih moških? To vprašanje si zastavi film Sopotnica, a žal je rezultat samo parada predvidljivih klišejev in nedomišljenih preobratov, ki se pretvarjajo, da imajo globoko sporočilo. Film se začne s kontemplacijo glavne junakinje Iris o življenjskih tegobah in o tem, da je začutila srečo dvakrat. Prvič, ko je spoznala svojega fanta Josha, in drugič, ko ga je ubila. To naj bi vzpostavilo bizarno in nepredvidljivo vzdušje, a ga pravzaprav izniči, saj je nekako jasno, kako se bo vse skupaj končalo. Čeprav se zgodba nato trudi prikazati Iris in Josha kot povsem običajen par, je jasno, da nekaj ni v redu, in tako se kmalu izkaže, da je Iris robotka in da jo je Josh preprogramiral za morilko. Njen osnovni program je namreč sopotnica oziroma ljubimka, saj se zgodba odvija v bližnji prihodnosti, kjer so realistični roboti postali vsakdanji in marsikomu primarna izbira za pristno ljubezensko razmerje. Seveda takšno, v katerem ima človeški partner ves nadzor, robotski pa je z njim obseden. Sopotnica se ne pretvarja, da s svojo metaforiko izumlja toplo vodo, ko scenarij preigrava toksična razmerja, igre moči in vprašanje umetne inteligence, vendar pa nikakor ne bi mogli reči, da stoji na ramenih velikanov, kot sta bila filma Ex_machina in Ona ter serija Westworld. Zaplet Sopotnice namreč skoraj izključno temelji na naključjih in nelogičnih potezah junakov, ki se vedno znova izkažejo za preveč neumne in nesposobne, da bi jim lahko karkoli uspelo. Če odmislimo zgodbo in si Sopotnico ogledamo na ravni simbolnega sporočila, žal ne pusti nič kaj boljšega vtisa. Razmerje med Iris in Joshem bi lahko interpretirali kot metaforo za čustveno manipulacijo in mračenje oziroma gaslighting. A za razliko od noir klasike, ki je terminu dala ime, režiser ne zna zgraditi prave čustvene katarze junakinje, ker je ta robotka. Njeno razsvetljenje je namreč samo posledica premika drsnika na zaslonu. Podobno bi na Josha lahko gledali kot na incela, torej na moškega, ki je nezmožen tvoriti pristna romantična razmerja in je prepričan, da je za to kriv svet oziroma predvsem ženske. Ni dvoma, da bi bili tovrstni moški prvi kupci robotk za seks, vendar film k tej temi pristopi z dvojno, ne najbolj združljivo perspektivo. Ko se pozicije med junaki večkrat obrnejo, se zdi, da je to izgovor za prikaz čim več različnih načinov trpinčenja žensk, saj je vse čustveno in fizično nasilje nad ženskami namerno, medtem ko so moški povečini tarča naključnega nasilja, samoobrambe ali manipulacije. Za nameček film ponudi samo en odgovor na povsem resničen družbeni problem incelov, s katerim se naša družba že nekaj časa skuša soočiti. Kot je pravzaprav razvidno že iz prej omenjenega uvoda v film, je ta odgovor eliminacija. Na koncu je Sopotnica film, ki v premisi ponudi zanimive in aktualne teme, a jih je zmožen razdelati samo na takšni ravni, kot uspe tkati zgodbo – dolgočasno, že videno in z nepotrebnim nasiljem do žensk. For example Laura thinks she can detect witchcraft in a location, because she gets intense headaches.The research component involves looking for documents and interviewing people to look for data that supports the presence of what Laura calls “defilement”.Finally, intercession unleashes the full measure of the Lord's blessings on an area.Listen to the full episode of how Laura's book began with spiritual mapping, but eventually became so much more.[00:20:14] The Unconventional WarLaura thinks that humanity is waging an unconventional war against invisible shadow agents looking to convert people.[21:10] Laura: We really have to come to terms with the fact that humanity has been under assault, like constant assault, and the ferocity of those attacks have really intensified."These invisible enemies include the Illuminati and several other people that she says are working in the shadows.Laura's book can supposedly help people discern the presence of Nephilim and their effects.Some people are what Laura calls “Nephilim hosts”, who are people who have partnered with the forces of darkness to further the “Nephilim agenda”.Laura thinks that the Nephilim agenda is to strip people of their humanity and eventually control the world.[00:33:37] The Origins of the Nephilim AgendaLaura says that the Nephilim were able to survive the Great Flood because, although Noah and his family were pure, the wives of Noah's sons may have had Nephilim genes.God gave Adam and Eve dominion over the Earth, but Laura believes the original Hebrew word indicates some kind of combative victory.[38:00] Laura: “If we look at the Hebrew word for dominion, it's ‘radah'. And it means to rule, have dominion, dominate, tread down, and prevail against, and so really this, you know, this definition suggests that we're going to face foes or entities that will resist us as governors and so we need to tread down and prevail against them.”The Nephilim agenda goes back to Lucifer, who fell to pride. Whenever people receive fame and glory, it's vital to reflect that back to God.Laura points out that God gave Adam and Eve dominion, but they also had free will. This is in contrast to Lucifer, who offers dominion but demands control.[00:46:34] Spiritual Power: How We Fight the Nephilim AgendaAccording to Laura, there are spiritual giants on earth that take our territory, inheritance, and freedom.Walking with Christ gives us the power to walk in the footsteps of the biblical giant slayers: Deborah, Josha, Caleb, and David.Their lifestyles indicate how we gain this power: a lifestyle of obedience to God.Laura describes how she believes she commanded a storm to turn away from her beach vacation through faith.[01:02:15] The Spiritual Power Power in PraisePraise, worship, and releasing a new song to God actually reverberates in the land itself.In the book of Exodus, Moses released a new song to create victory for the Israelites. As a believer our goal everyday should be to find ways to read,listen and praise God. Joshua 1:8 clearly says that we should “Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. With that being said I challenged two of my friends to read one chapter a day in Word and choose three verses that stood out to them. It was because of this intention I had to include God more in my day that I revisit the Gospel of Luke and noticed some things I didn't see when I first read it. Then as I read Luke and Matthew I saw some differences and some revelation. Tune in as this episode was not what I intended to post. This episode is raw and fresh with only about an hour of preparing. With the raspiness of my voice and the unpredictability of this message. I believe God had a say in why this was posted today.

De 46-jarige Ellemieke Vermolen is moeder van twee zoons. Ze is bekend van haar vroegere werk als actrice, en is nu tv-deskundige bij SBS 6 en schrijfster van onder andere kookboeken. Josha 6 Now Jericho was securely shut up because of the children of Israel; none went out, and none came in. 2 And the Lord said to Joshua: “See! I have given Jericho into your hand, its king, and the mighty men of valor. 3 You shall march around the city, all you men of war; you shall go all around the city once. This you shall do six days. 4 And seven priests shall bear seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the ark. But the seventh day you shall march around the city seven times, and the priests shall blow the trumpets. 5 It shall come to pass, when they make a long blast with the ram’s horn, and when you hear the sound of the trumpet, that all the people shall shout with a great shout; then the wall of the city will fall down flat. And the people shall go up every man straight before him.” 6 Then Joshua the son of Nun called the priests and said to them, “Take up the ark of the covenant, and let seven priests bear seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the ark of the Lord.” 7 And he said to the people, “Proceed, and march around the city, and let him who is armed advance before the ark of the Lord.” 8 So it was, when Joshua had spoken to the people, that the seven priests bearing the seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the Lord advanced and blew the trumpets, and the ark of the covenant of the Lord followed them. 9 The armed men went before the priests who blew the trumpets, and the rear guard came after the ark, while the priests continued blowing the trumpets. 10 Now Joshua had commanded the people, saying, “You shall not shout or make any noise with your voice, nor shall a word proceed out of your mouth, until the day I say to you, ‘Shout!’ Then you shall shout.” 11 So he had the ark of the Lord circle the city, going around it once. Then they came into the camp and lodged in the camp. 12 And Joshua rose early in the morning, and the priests took up the ark of the Lord. 13 Then seven priests bearing seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the ark of the Lord went on continually and blew with the trumpets. And the armed men went before them. But the rear guard came after the ark of the Lord, while the priests continued blowing the trumpets. 14 And the second day they marched around the city once and returned to the camp. So they did six days. 15 But it came to pass on the seventh day that they rose early, about the dawning of the day, and marched around the city seven times in the same manner. On that day only they marched around the city seven times. 16 And the seventh time it happened, when the priests blew the trumpets, that Joshua said to the people: “Shout, for the Lord has given you the city! 17 Now the city shall be doomed by the Lord to destruction, it and all who are in it. Only Rahab the harlot shall live, she and all who are with her in the house, because she hid the messengers that we sent. 18 And you, by all means abstain from the accursed things, lest you become accursed when you take of the accursed things, and make the camp of Israel a curse, and trouble it. 19 But all the silver and gold, and vessels of bronze and iron, are consecrated to the Lord; they shall come into the treasury of the Lord.” 20 So the people shouted when the priests blew the trumpets. And it happened when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat. Then the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city. 21 And they utterly destroyed all that was in the city, both man and woman, young and old, ox and sheep and donkey, with the edge of the sword. 22 But Joshua had said to the two men who had spied out the country, “Go into the harlot’s house, and from there bring out the woman and all that she has, as you swore to her.” 23 And the young men who had been spies went in and brought out Rahab, her father, her mother, her brothers, and all that she had. So they brought out all her relatives and left them outside the camp of Israel. 24 But they burned the city and all that was in it with fire. Only the silver and gold, and the vessels of bronze and iron, they put into the treasury of the house of the Lord. 25 And Joshua spared Rahab the harlot, her father’s household, and all that she had. So she dwells in Israel to this day, because she hid the messengers whom Joshua sent to spy out Jericho. 26 Then Joshua charged them at that time, saying, “Cursed be the man before the Lord who rises up and builds this city Jericho; he shall lay its foundation with his firstborn, and with his youngest he shall set up its gates.” 27 So the Lord was with Joshua, and his fame spread throughout all the country.

We have a athletic and outgoing personal trainer with us today. Her name is Josha Kruvand.  We will be talking about how to train like an athlete if you are new to fitness. Josha (Krueger) Kruvand has over 15 years of experience as a professional in strength and fitness training. Growing up in St. Charles, IL, soccer was a priority for Josha all the way through high school, as she represented her hometown in the Illinois IHSA State Championships, winning twice, in 1992 and 1994.  She went on to play Division 1 Soccer at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where her #22 Jersey is retired. As team captain, Josha lead the UWM Panthers to their first ever NCAA Tournament appearance in her first year. After college Josha continued to play semi-professional and professional soccer. She helped lead the Chicago Cobras to a W-League National Championship in 2000, and after relocating by way of the WUSA draft, Josha helped the Boston Renegades capture their own National Championship.
