Raj's work has been endorsed by Daymond John of Shark Tank and featured in Forbes, Buzzfeed, Huffington Post, Entrepreneur Magazine, and various other news outlets.Seeking fulfillment, Raj sold a major part of his company, JavaPresse, in 2019 to focus on his mental health and relationships. Alan welcomes Jonathan Beskin, a serial entrepreneur and bestselling author of "The Least Likely Millionaire." The book tells the story of how Jonathan overcame crippling anxiety, toxic parenting, and a total lack of support to start and build a wildly successful company, despite everyone telling him his ideas would never work and that he would be a failure. The book is a triumphant memoir highlighting Jonathan's journey, including the ups and downs, and providing actionable advice to help other entrepreneurs. Jonathan also owns Singlesswag.com, worth 80 million dollars in subscription boxes. Aspiring entrepreneurs overcoming challenging obstacles can hopefully find inspiration in his story and become "least likely millionaires." During the interview, Alan asks Jonathan about three points of success. The first point is the concept of healthy obsession and how one can channel negative experiences into positive energy. Alan welcomes Raj Jana, the CEO of Liber8. Liber8 is a company that develops programs to help people overcome emotional and childhood trauma, as well as any limiting beliefs that prevent them from living a meaningful and authentic life. The company's mission is to remove any barriers that may be stopping people from achieving the things they desire. Raj shares his personal experience of burnout while building his first company in 2019, at the age of 27. He worked tirelessly, hustling day and night, until he reached his breaking point. He realized that his need to prove himself, his obsession with making money, and his constant busyness were all rooted in trauma. He understood that if he was living his purpose, he wouldn't have been burned out. Instead, he would have felt more alive. After selling his company, Raj faced even more challenges. He felt purposeless and lost, and his relationships were in shambles. He realized that he needed to work on himself and his relationships. He had to address his trauma with being vulnerable and intimate in partnerships. He had to learn how to connect and be seen. Raj's experience was both liberating and a trap. He had the resources to address his issues, but he also felt lost and directionless. Raj's story is a reminder that success doesn't always bring happiness and that it's essential to work on oneself, both personally and professionally. Raj Jana emphasizes the importance of having a clear vision for your company, which includes how much money you're making, how your customers feel, what your products are, and what your brand is. By inspiring people with a vision, you can get talent to show up in ways that no paycheck will. Another important tip from Raj is to empower your team by delegating tasks. Remember that a 90 is still an A, so relax your standards and delegate to open up your capacity for more support. This is the ultimate entrepreneurial journey – letting go of control. Her cancer journey has been stressful and emotionally difficult. - She intuitively felt stress played a major role and tried various things like meditation and therapy to relieve it, but still felt overwhelmed.- Angie joined Liber8's Precision Emotional Healing for Cancer program after seeing Raj in a video. She intuitively trusted that this program could help support her recovery.- Through the 3 month program, Angie gained profound insight into core wounds and pain points sabotaging her health. We discuss her tailored program for building self-worth, confidence to trust her intuition, and the ability to handle challenges with more ease and humor. The transformations the Liber8 program facilitates for cancer patients are remarkable - improved labs and scans, healed relationships, enhanced energy, purpose and zest for life. In this thought-provoking discussion, Dan Russell chats with Raj Jana about the discomfort that often arises when we allow ourselves to sit with challenging emotions and triggers. They explore how we can build the "courage muscle" to lean into these difficult spaces on the path to growth and self-discovery.By sharing vulnerable stories from their journeys, they expose how suppressed trauma, limiting beliefs, and unresolved pain can silently manifest in the body as symptoms like fatigue, skin issues, sexual dysfunction, and poor digestion. Our guest Dan Russell brings a deep experience in personal development and spiritual discovery to this conversation. As the founder of Hama, a personal growth community offering online and in-person programs focused on enlightenment, Dan has dedicated himself to researching techniques and tools for conscious living. After stepping back from a successful marketing career to embark on his own journey of self-inquiry, he now guides others looking to actualize the best version of themselves.Key takeaways:Plant medicines and other modalities can bring unconscious beliefs and traumas to the surface, but the real work happens in how skillfully we integrate these lessons into our daily living.Sitting with discomfort and leaning into triggered emotional spaces with courage is essential for growth - this builds our "awareness muscle."Realigning with our deepest principles helps us stay anchored in a state of grace, allowing external triggers to bounce off us.Cultivating proactive awareness through stillness practices allows us to pause and retain choice over our responses rather than blindly reacting. The journey of self-inquiry and consciously working on ourselves is a profound gift that serves our life purpose in each passing moment. This insightful discussion reminds us that integrating our experiences and doing the ongoing work of "becoming" is what enables real and lasting transformation. If you found value in it, share it with a friend you feel might resonate!Tools/ resources mentioned in this episode:Liber8 app: https://liber8.health/Books: The 4-Hour WorkweekBiology of Belief by Bruce LiptonTimestamps:0:00 - Introduction4:00 - Raj's story -10:23 - Growing up religious13:00 - Our beliefs about health16:00 - Finding the root of your health problem23:00 - Being an infinite soul on an endless timeline26:30 - What is mindfulness?33:00 - Garbage in garbage out -41:00 - The skill of sitting in spaciousnessConnect with Dan:Website: hamasocial.comConnect with Raj:Website: http://www.rajjana.com/Instagram: http://www.instagram.com/raj_janaiTunes: https://podcasts.apple.com/rs/podcast/stay-grounded-with-raj-jana/id1318038490Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/22Hrw6VWfnUSI45lw8LJBPYouTube:https://www.youtube.com/@raj_janaLegal Disclaimer: The information and opinions discussed in this podcast are for educational and entertainment purposes only. In this week's episode, we explore the healing power of unconditional love with Executive Life and Business Coach Ryan Matsumori. With over 10 years of experience as a transformational life coach, Ryan Matsumori has an in-depth understanding of human relationships and personal growth. As a Professional Certified Coach recognized by the International Coaching Federation, Ryan has supported over 500 clients in developing self-love, confidence, and clarity within themselves. Having walked his own journey to embrace vulnerability and listen to his heart after a difficult divorce, Ryan is adept at guiding others to break free of limiting beliefs and conditioning to live a life aligned with their truths. Some key insights from Ryan:Unconditional love provides the safety for us to be vulnerable and express all parts of ourselves without fear of judgment. This allows us to be grounded in our most authentic selves. When we focus on our own self-judgment, we disconnect from both ourselves and others. But being intimate with all aspects of ourselves is crucial for alignment. The mind often projects limiting beliefs based on past experiences. But the wisdom of the heart can guide us to create a different future aligned with our truths.Going through intense hardship cracked open Ryan's constructs and allowed him to finally listen to his heart's wisdom. We often need trauma to prompt our awakening.Simple practices like conscious breathing, shaking, and bounding can regulate our nervous system and bring our bodies into a state of safety and grounding. This heart-opening discussion is a reminder that love - for ourselves, others, and the universe - is always available if we allow ourselves to access it by breaking free of limiting beliefs. When we trust we are unconditionally loved, we gain the courage to live fully as our truest selves.Timestamps:0:00 - Intro3:00 - Having Authentic Conversations7:00 - Learning to be present with ourselves.10:00 - What Is Self Judgement?15:00 - Creating safety24:45 - Out of the head, into the body.33:00 - Becoming aware of your limiting beliefs42:00 - Moving into the heartConnect with Ryan: Email Facebook Connect with Raj: InstagramTools mentioned in this episode:Brag Book: A simple way to compile all your excellent feedback or the impact you createdShaking and bouncing for nervous system regulationHand on heart, conscious breathing practiceGetting out of head and into bodyExploring the mind, heart, gut perspectivesUnconditional love and presenceIf you are on the path of emotional healing and self-discovery and would like to know how Liber8 can support your journey, head to www.rajjana.com/liber8.Legal Disclaimer: The information and opinions discussed in this podcast are for educational and entertainment purposes only. Last week on October 7th, there was a grueling terrorist attack on innocent Jewish people. Since then, there have been heartbreaking levels of carnage happening to innocent Palestinian people. My heart breaks for humanity. This podcast is not about choosing a side. So much innocent bloodshed. There are no winners in this fight. What we need, now more than ever, is the capacity within us to relate with one another on a HUMAN level. To feel and recognize another's pain while holding space for our own. To emotionally connect with people who look and act differently than us. With people who have differing opinions and differing life experiences from us. With people who see the world differently than we do. And I brought on my dear friend, Mr JP Newman, to help inspire the courage and give you the tools to do so effectively.JP Newman is a dear brother of mine, a successful entrepreneur and investor, and a mentor inside of his local Jewish communities. We had this podcast scheduled to record days after the initial Israel attacks and decided to trust the timing of it all and record something incredibly relevant for the times we are in. Key Topics Discussed:* Why it's difficult yet essential to remain open-hearted in times of conflict * How bearing witness to each other's pain can dissolve barriers * The courage required to hold space for grief and disagreements with empathy * Choosing happiness over "being right" in relationships and world affairs * The power of listening with genuine curiosity about different perspectives * The ultimate goal of recognizing our common bonds despite surface differences * Faith in life's bigger picture as an antidote to getting lost in fear-based narratives & stories * Centering our energy on what unites us rather than divides us as human beings * The inner work and mindfulness needed to tap into empathy amidst outer turmoil * Small acts of humanity that start ripples of peace: how we each play a part * Finding inspiration in leaders who embody compassionate, heart-centered leadership If you've been affected by these tragic events, I want you to feel my heart with you. I'm sorry that this type of darkness exists in the world. I hope this podcast offers you solace and grounding as you navigate a very complex emotional landscape. And that then started this deep path of me, learning to come back to myself. And that was a three, four year journey. And that was lots of trials and tribulations in terms. And on that journey is when I realized, doing the work is hard to understand yourself, like really learning to understand yourself. There's so much noise and there's so many different opinions and there's so many different tools." [00:16:08] – Raj Jana "It reminds me of how important working with our nervous system is and really understanding ourselves. versus just, oh, the surrender thing, I'm going to quit my job and trust all the things. I mean, you could do that, but also what is that going to cost you in terms of how regulated you are? I know so many people want to do big things in the world and then just put themselves in such a stressful state, thinking that they're taking risks, or they're taking action and end up really becoming unregulated and emotionally unstable." To mark the first official full-length episode of Stay Grounded Season 2, I'm bringing you my reflection for July - a super vulnerable month of closures, deep questions, and surrendering to forces beyond my control, which challenged my ego in every way. Tune in now and hear Georgina and I explore: What shifts when you choose to feel the things you're most afraid of? Taking the medicine of surrender. Making the decision to close my coffee club. The power of accessing future versions of myself in the quantum. Exploring the cycles of death and rebirth. The interaction of soul, ego, and universal timelines. Daring to dream and asking the universe for what you want. The work of evolving as a soul.Working through my core wound with Liber8's processes. And more…As I continue along my awakening path, I'm more and more clear that we evolve in a spiral. This is why we often feel a hint of familiarity when facing challenges and growth opportunities. Same core wound, but a different perspective and entry point. A test from life. Have you really learned the lesson, or is there something deeper to excavate and resolve? Such is the curriculum of the soul. The soul is endless and moves on an infinite timeline. Yes, the ego can get frustrated, scared, or shamed when it feels it should be someone else, doing something else. But the soul knows better. The soul knows that parts of it must die before new versions can be born. The soul knows that surrendering to what wants to happen is the most effective medicine for the nervous system. The soul knows the truth. The question is, can we hold true to what's real, authentic, and aligned - especially in the face of challenge? July gave me a ton of opportunities to help integrate these principles and deep concepts, and I'm excited to share it all with you when you tune in.LinksLiber8InstagramDisclaimer: The content of this podcast is not intended to replace professional mental health support. Emotional healing is a journey that requires patience, self-compassion, and a willingness to confront and address deep-rooted emotional wounds. Holding space for healing and growth is a concept that is often overlooked in our fast-paced and results-oriented society. However, today's episode reminds us of the profound impact that holding space can have on individuals going through difficult times, particularly in the context of health challenges. In this episode, I had the pleasure of interviewing the incredible Raj Jana, a former reservoir engineer turned entrepreneur and media host. He is currently the CEO of Liber8, a human transformation company that builds technologies to help people discover, track, and resolve the root emotional causes contributing to their health issues. Raj's passion for building businesses that shift consciousness on the planet is truly inspiring, and he shares his wisdom and experiences with us. Raj discusses the importance of identifying our triggers and activations and how they can affect our emotional well-being. He emphasizes the significance of having someone guide us through a healing process, helping us address and heal those emotional wounds. By doing so, we create space for healing vibes to show up in our lives and positively impact our physical well-being. During our conversation, Raj opens up about his own healing journey and emphasizes the importance of vulnerability. He reminds us that life throws challenges at all of us, and it's crucial to be open and honest about our experiences. By sharing our stories, we create a safe space for others to do the same, fostering connection and growth. We also touch upon the concept of holding space for others. We discuss the transformative power of being present and truly listening to someone's experience without judgment or the need to fix things. Holding space is a precious gift we can offer to others, allowing them to feel seen, heard, and supported. This episode is filled with wisdom, inspiration, and hope. It's a reminder that we have the power to shift our consciousness, heal, and create a life filled with purpose and joy. Key Takeaways [00:02:21] Emotional well-being and health issues. [00:05:31] Emotional healing and toolbox. [00:08:03] Erectile dysfunction and self-discovery. [00:12:26] Emotional causes of erectile dysfunction. [00:15:30] Resilience and sitting with discomfort. [00:20:23] Triggers as opportunities for growth. [00:22:00] Starting point for self-love. [00:27:28] The missing emotional support. [00:29:29] Empowering communities to support. [00:32:39] Holding space for healing. [00:36:20] Holding space and listening. [00:40:19] Cancer cohort for emotional resilience. Memorable Quotes "I think we've just gotten into a culture of wanting the quick fix. We're sold the quick fix. We're sold the fast track. And I think that lasting health, lasting self-esteem, lasting any of the qualities we're trying to create in our lives comes from being with the thing underneath the thing underneath the thing.” [00:12:45] – Raj Jana "And so that's where I think the beginning, if I had to think of a starting point for any type of self-love, it's instead of projecting outwards, turn the mirror back at yourself and really start to be kind and curious in your exploration as to what is the need that's not being met or what is the belief about yourself?” [00:23:15] – Raj Jana "I think self-love, I used to think self-love was selfish, but now I'm realizing more and more that self-love is inherently, it's something that like, if you don't embody it, you can't actually give love." Lexa Doig is known around the world for playing ass-kicking characters on beloved genre shows. She played the Andromeda Ascendent on Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda, an android and warship who didn't like running from a fight, and was Sonya Valentine on Continuum, one of the Liber8 future terrorists. She appeared on Arrow as former member of the League of Assassins Talia al Ghul, and stole her share of scenes in The Arrangement and Virgin River. She can currently be seen playing Aurora's BFF Sally Allison (a reporter and a member of the Real Murders Club) in the Aurora Teagarden Mysteries series. In this fascinating and expansive episode, Lexa talks about navigating the industry as a white-passing, Filipino Scottish Canadian woman, as well as her thoughts on AI, Simon Barry's brain, working with people who have vastly different political leanings, and the changing landscape of the entertainment industry. Before Roger Cross was an actor, he was a pilot – and a lot of what he learned in the cockpit informs the nuanced work he does today. Roger's filmography is vast and includes Dark Matter, Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency, Orphan Black, and the beloved Vancouver-shot time travel procedural Continuum, on which he played Travis Verta, a Liber8 time travelling terrorist who was really, really mean. More recently, Roger's been inhabiting a very different type of role: that of Donovan “Mac” McAvoy on CBC's Coroner, which is in the midst of airing its second season and for which Roger was recently nominated for a Canadian Screen Award. Coroner follows the professional and personal exploits of Dr. Jenny Cooper (Serinda Swan), an ER doctor turned coroner whose husband recently died, leaving her a single mom with a mountain of debt, PTSD, an ex-soldier lover who lives in a tree house, and a new partner in the form of Roger's Mac. In this joyful and contemplative episode, Roger talks about the paradigm-shifting advice he received early in his career from Billy Dee Williams, what is was like to pick his son up from grade one while dressed as Travis Verta, growing up with immigrant parents, and what it means to him to play a detective on a Coroner – and the role that art can play in making people confront their privilege. [Note: this episode was recorded before the 2020 Canadian Screen Awards were cancelled due to COVID-19]. Episode sponsor: Liquid Amber Tattoo and Art Collective

Amendola is also known for his recurring role as revolutionary leader Edouard Kagame of Liber8 in the television show Continuum. He is currently playing a character on ABC's Once Upon a Time as Pinocchio's creator/father, Geppetto. Major movie roles include Blow, The Mask of Zorro and its sequel, The Legend of Zorro (as separate characters). His television guest appearances include Stargate SG-1, Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, Seinfeld, The Practice, Space: Above and Beyond, Charmed, The X Files, Angel, Alias, CSI, Star Trek: Voyager, She-Wolf of London, The West Wing, and the short lived show Kindred: The Embraced. Emily's rescue takes center stage as Kiera, Kellog, and even Liber8 jockey for position. What will her departure mean for Alec and his motley crew? Can Brad and Kiera really trust each other any more? And what is with all of the items Marcellus wants Kellog to buy?

As we expected, Revolutions Per Minute finds Kiera starting to play into the hands of Liber8 for what she perceives to be the greater good. Alec also appears to believe he's acting in everyone's best interests as well, but perhaps they both will suffer unforeseen consequences. The involvement of Kellog and Julian is already a huge wild card, and the Freelancers and perhaps even John Doe will become adversaries soon.
Now that the central mystery of who killed Kiera is presumably solved, let's move onto the next big question: Who is behind the door? Wasted Minute is by far the most Liber8-sympathetic episode yet of Continuum, and it's hard not to agree with the now desk-bound Carlos about them finally doing some good. But with the battle of Alec vs. Alec coming to a close in an unexpected way, we are wondering if Kiera made the right choice.
Liber8 continues their plan to take down the corporations with their own dirty little secrets as Dillon and Travis take to the air waves in 30 Minutes to Air, a commentary on the role of the media in the selling out of everyone's personal freedoms. The Alecs further differentiate themselves, Carlos gets a break from his funk, and Betty uses her position as a mole to save lives. But a new mole is set to be placed within Liber8...
A re-imagining of Lucas' mind control technology expertise has Liber8 conducting a whole new battle strategy against some of the corporations that rule the future as the Corporate Congress in Minute To Win It. What an appropriate time for Alec to take over the reins at Piron! Deepening feelings of conflict for Kiera, Carlos, and Emily also take center stage.
Hey ATA Listeners, this week's podcast is going to be slightly different as Dan is on Vacation and Nico takes over the podcast for the week and brings in some new faces and some old favorites to help him guest host and review the shows this week. As a special treat, Nico's father, Bill Reifsteck, joins us for a great discussion about the shocking and bloody Red Wedding on this week's Game of Thrones. Then Michael joins Nico to discuss the two-hour Season 3 Premiere of Falling Skies where they discuss the major changes since season 2, the 7 month time jump, they hypothesize about who the mole in the Second Mass might be and come up with some great theories about where the creepy baby story might be going the rest of the season. After that Michael and Nico shift focus to the Season 2 Premiere of Continuum to discuss the more Badass vigilante Kiera, Liber8 becoming involved in politics, and the Gardner character's investigation of Kiera. In this week's Rundown Section, Michael reviews the season finale of Revolution, Woo continues his coverage of The Goodwin Games, and Nico covers Defiance and Warehouse 13. So sit back and enjoy this slightly different version of Across the Airwaves with Nico and special guest hosts
Both factions of Liber8 and Kiera race to find an interesting item that showed up at a yard sale, and an old friend makes an appearance. Gardiner makes himself generally annoying but shares with Kiera an important bit of information about Escher.
Everyone's having second thoughts! Alec's not too sure about his new business partnership, Sonya's doubting her latest takeover strategy, and many Vancouverites are experiencing "thoughts" a "second" time through the new street drug, flash. Mike & Dave discuss the possible paths for Liber8, what Alec's memories imply, and what on earth Jason is up to.

Liber8 gets serious, and our discussion takes all kinds of twists and turns in directions we hadn't considered before the reboot. Exclusive commentary from writer Jonathan Lloyd Walker has us questioning how Kagame knew about the intrigue at Exotrol.
