Yo no podría vivir nunca en el campo. Principalmente por razones profesionales, en la ciudad uno puede encontrar trabajo, pero sobre todo también por razones culturales. Teatros, cines, exposiciones, conciertos, restaurantes y cadenas de comida rápida. Se encuentra de todo en la ciudad, también gente que viene de varios países. A mí me encanta el ambiente internacional. Y si hablamos del aspecto académico, es evidente que en la ciudad se encuentran las mejores universidades. También aprecio el esfuerzo del gobierno por mejorar el sistema de transporte público y los servicios de bicicleta pública. Actualmente podemos transportarnos más eficazmente y fácilmente, es menos estresante. Por supuesto hay algunos puntos negativos, como la contaminación, y los precios de las rentas, son muy elevados, pero al final de cuentas, yo no renunciaría nunca a la vida en una gran ciudad, es mucho más divertida e interesante. Testimonio de una persona que vivió en la ciudad Mi familia y yo hemos dejado la ciudad hace 6 años. Demasiado estrés, demasiada contaminación, el costo de vida es demasiado elevado y los tiempos para transportarte de tu casa al trabajo son exagerados. Nos hemos mudado a un pequeño pueblo de aproximadamente 5 mil habitantes. Hay una escuela muy cerca para los niños, y mi esposa y yo hemos abierto un pequeño negocio. Todas las personas viajan a pie o usan la bicicleta. Aquí la vida es más tranquila, tenemos tiempo para hacer otras actividades por ejemplo pasear, hay un mercado todos los sábados por la mañana donde venden frutas y verduras frescas. Se encuentran productos de excelente calidad y naturales. También las personas son amigables y hay más convivencia. Aquí también tenemos internet, tenemos acceso a la modernidad. Después de todos estos años, no me arrepiento de haberme mudado al campo, estoy seguro que no vamos a regresar a una gran ciudad.

Tener un perro en casa da mucha alegría. Tienes un amigo siempre a tu lado, te recibe cuando llegas del trabajo, te sigue a todas partes, te cuida y siempre quiere hacerte compañía. Si estás planeando tener un perrito en tu casa, te recomiendo adoptar, es mejor porque hay muchos perritos que han sido abandonados y necesitan un hogar y una familia que los quiera. Muchas personas regalan o compran un perro pero después de un rato los abandonan. Todos los fines de semana cuando voy al parque México que está en la Condesa, veo a muchos perritos en Jaulas, cachorritos y perros más grandes, también hay gatos. Las personas que están ayudando a los perros pertenecen a refugios o grupos de rescate animal. Estas personas lo hacen por el amor que tienen a los perros, muchas veces los ayudan con sus propios recursos y sin fines de lucro. Si estás en el parque México puedes pedir permiso para pasear a los perros, o también puedes contribuir con algo de dinero o croquetas para los perritos. Si ves a un perro que te gusta y quieres adoptarlo es muy fácil, solo tienes que dar una donación, puede ser dinero o croquetas, una foto de tu identificación y comprobante de domicilio. Te recomendamos llevar a tu perrito después de ser adoptado a un veterinario. El veterinario lo examinará y te dirá que es lo mejor que hacer para que se recupere tu perrito. Si es la primera vez que tienes un perro, lo mejor es llevarlo con un adiestrador canino para que te explique lo que tienes que enseñarle a tu perro, por ejemplo, en qué lugar tiene que ir al baño, socializar con otros perros, manejar la ansiedad por separación, etc. En Ciudad de México hay muchos lugares Pet Friendly, puedes llevar a tu perro al trabajo, a un café, a un restaurante, hay parques para perros. Yo cada día llevo a mi perro al parque para que juegue con otros perros. Tener un perro cambiará tu vida! Si tienes un perro o has adoptado quisiera escuchar tu experiencia.

Hay muchos diseños diferentes de trajes tradicionales. Algunos de ellos se utilizan para celebraciones y días festivos, algunos, para ceremonias, otros, para festivales. Las características principales de los trajes típicos mexicanos son: La protección solar, es por eso que los hombres usan sombreros y la ropa está hecha de materiales naturales, y mucha ropa es blanca. Muchos colores, la tela de las prendas en su mayoría tiene muchos colores y está bordada. La ropa es elegante, las faldas son largas, las flores se usan a menudo para embellecer el traje, el peinado y el tocado. El traje tradicional de los hombres mexicanos ha cambiado muy poco durante siglos. Pero no podemos decir lo mismo de la ropa de mujer. La mayoría de los trajes derivan de una mezcla de la cultura indígena y europea. La ropa de los hombres por lo general no es tan colorida como la de las mujeres. Los trajes tradicionales están hechos de varios tejidos: lana, algodón y seda. Por lo general, los colores de la vestimenta tradicional son el rojo, el marrón, el verde y el amarillo. Los mexicanos solían teñir su ropa con componentes naturales, pero hoy en día no tienen que hacerlo. Las prendas de vestir de hombre más populares y conocidas en México son el sarape, el traje de charro, el sombrero, la guayabera y el poncho. El Sarape es una prenda de colores vibrante, se utiliza como abrigo tipo chal y también como manta. El traje charro es un traje especial bellamente bordado que se usa en el Día de Muertos. Sombrero es un sombrero mexicano de ala ancha. Este sombrero está hecho de paja o fieltro grueso. Protege el cuerpo del sol. Esta parte de la ropa es la más reconocible en todo el mundo. Guayabero es una camisa o traje liviano que se usa tanto como vestimenta informal como formal. Está hecho de algodón y muy a menudo está decorado con pesados bordados. Guayabero es el atuendo perfecto para el calor mexicano. ROPA TRADICIONAL DE MUJER Las prendas de vestir femeninas más populares y conocidas en México son el huipil, el rebozo, la falda mexicana (tienen varios nombres en diferentes regiones. Huipil es una túnica sin mangas, hecha de algodón o lana. Se lleva con falda. El diseño de esta pieza depende de una región, creencias, estado civil, etc. El huipil es una de las prendas femeninas más populares en México. Rebozo es un chal hecho de algodón, lana o seda. El color del rebozo representan la región y la comunidad. Esta pieza del traje típico mexicano se usa no solo como vestimenta, sino también para transportar productos y mercancías, incluso bebés. Las faldas mexicanas pueden ser hasta los tobillos o hasta las rodillas. Están hechos de algodón, lana, seda y encaje. Muy a menudo son anchos, brillantes y bordados. A las mujeres mexicanas también les gustan mucho las blusas. Hay una gran variedad de blusas. Pero por lo general están bellamente decorados con encajes, bordados y muy coloridos.

Actualmente hay que estar conectado en las redes sociales y seguir a los influencers para conocer lo que está de moda. Para comprar ropa, Leonardo tiene dos opciones, él puede ir a la tienda o pedir por internet. Cuando Leonardo va a la tienda, él compara los precios y escoge la ropa de acuerdo a su presupuesto. Sin embargo, él prefiere comprar la ropa en las tiendas porque ahí él puede probarse la ropa. ¿En qué gasta más dinero? En tenis, él compra los más cómodos y bonitos. Él gasta en promedio $3000 pesos cada 6 meses para comprar tenis. Sus padres le dan un poco de dinero, pero Leonardo también trabaja en una cafetería los fines de semana. A los jóvenes les encanta vestir con ropa deportiva y muchos compran ropa de marca. Para Leonardo no estar a la moda significa sentirse excluido, es una forma de integrarse con otros jóvenes. En una clasificación internacional, Filipinas ocupa el primer lugar, los filipinos pasan aproximadamente 241 minutos al día usando las redes sociales. En segundo lugar está Brasil, en tercer lugar Colombia, en séptimo lugar Estados Unidos y en Octavo lugar México. Los mexicanos pasar alrededor de 190 minutos al día. Las redes que más usan los mexicanos, las voy a mencionar en orden de importancia: 1. Whatsapp 2. Facebook 3. Instagram 4. Tiktok 5. Twitter Los jóvenes entre 14 a 20 años de edad ocupan el 54% de los usuarios, mientras que las personas que menos usan las redes son de 51 a 60 años y representan el 1%. ¿y cuál es el objetivo o razón principal por la cual los mexicanos usan las redes sociales? Según una encuesta, el (62.8 %) respondió que usan las redes sociales para mantenerse en contacto con amigos y familiares, el (47.1 %), para leer nuevas historias, el ( 45.0 %) para descubrir contenidos, el (44,7 %) para ocupar el tiempo libre y el ( 34,5 %) para buscar productos y comprar. El uso de las redes sociales también ha influido en el idioma español en México, hay nuevas palabras para describir el mundo digital, por ejemplo tiktokear, googlear, tuitear, dar like y meme, entre otras palabras, se convirtieron en conceptos comunes e incluso muchos han sido incluidos en la Real Academia de la Lengua Española, como trolear y avatar, que se incorporaron en el 2020. ¿ Y tú qué redes sociales usas? ¿Cuánto tiempo pasas viendo tus redes sociales?

Se llama Tarjeta de Movilidad Integrada, con esta tarjeta podrás tomar el Metro, Metrobús, Tren Ligero, Ecobici y Cablebus. Funciona de manera similar a una tarjeta de débito, el costo del pasaje del Metro es de $ 5 pesos y Metrobús $ 6 pesos, debes de cargar dinero, y en cada estación hay una maquina donde puedes cargarla. El objetivo de esta tarjeta es crear un trasporte eficiente e integrado, así como disminuir la contaminación y disminuir los tiempos de transporte. En promedio un habitante de la Ciudad de México pierde hasta 1 hora 21 minutos en sus viajes cotidianos. Las personas pierden tiempo y dinero en esperar el metro, el camión o la combi, también en los trayectos entre transportes. Según un estudio en la Ciudad de México las personas pierden hasta cinco años de su vida viajando en el transporte público. Antes de existir esta tarjeta, las personas tenían que hacer filas para comprar sus boletos de los diferentes medios de transporte. Bajabas del Metrobús y tenías que formarte para comprar un boleto de papel para tomar el Metro. Y actualmente en un mundo cada vez digital, ahora puedes pagar también con tu celular. Ahora ya sabes, si estás en la Ciudad de México y quieres conocer la Ciudad, la mejor forma es en transporte público, podrás ver cómo se mueve la gente y vivirás como un mexicano!

Laura estaciona su coche en un estacionamiento grande, ella siempre encuentra lugar. Ella toma un carrito y entra al super, todo está muy bien ordenado, hay productos nacionales e internacionales. Cuando Laura va al supermercado ella trata de no gastar mucho dinero. Su presupuesto mensual no es muy grande. Laura también trata de comprar productos locales y productos que no dañan al medio ambiente. También ella está intentando reducir su consumo de carne. Ella compra yogurt, pasta, atún, papel higiénico y pasa a la caja a pagar. Laura también lleva una bolsa reutilizable. Hacer las compras de manera alternativa A Sergio no le gustan los grandes centros comerciales, él prefiere las tiendas pequeñas, ahí puede encontrar productos locales, y comprar frutas y verduras frescas, también Sergio va a la carnicería y la pescadería, donde encuentra carne y pescado fresco. Sergio lleva sus propias bolsas para cuidar el medio ambiente y usa la bicicleta o simplemente camina para no usar carro o algún medio de transporte. Sergio hace las compras el domingo en la mañana, en un mercado que está a unas cuadras de su casa. Él va al negocio donde venden frutas y verduras.

La siesta es dormir por un corto tiempo, dormir por un rato, regularmente después del almuerzo para recuperar la energía perdida durante la digestión. En muchos países la gente toma una siesta después de comer, en Latinoamérica, Italia, Grecia, China, Medio Oriente, y el norte de África. ¿Para qué tomamos una siesta? El objetivo de tomar una siesta es para recuperarse de la energía que se consume al hacer la digestión o también para descansar, si no dormiste bien en la noche, o trabajaste muchas horas y dormiste más tarde, al día siguiente es recomendable tomar una siesta para sentirte con energía. Hay muchos beneficios, ayuda a eliminar la tensión y cansancio acumulado. Reduce el riesgo de sufrir enfermedades del corazón. Además ayuda a mejorar la concentración y la memoria. Se recomienda tomar una siesta de 20 o 30 minutos. También muchos expertos están a favor de implementar siestas en las oficinas, esto ayudaría a implementar la productividad.

A nosotros como humanos nos gusta etiquetar y emitir juicios sobre las personas con respecto a su aspecto físico, forma de hablar, apariencia, etc. En el vocabulario del mexicano hay muchas palabras para discriminar a las personas de piel oscura, como por ejemplo: ”prieto, indio, naco, gato”. También por su ideología, por ejemplo “chairo”. Aspecto físico, por ejemplo: “Güero”, “ruco” “joto” “maricón”. O las personas que tienen un estilo de vida con lujos y privilegios, por ejemplo; pipirisnaise, fifi, fresa, whitexican. Primero vamos a poner en contexto a lo que se refieren estas palabras en el vocabulario del mexicano. Whitexican: El término comenzó a ser popular en redes sociales y se usa para referirse a los mexicanos que usualmente tienen ventajas sociales y económicas , ya sea por sus ingresos, situación social, familia, posibilidad de viajes, educación, etc. Muchos de ellos «no están al tanto del sistema de desigualdad que impera en el país y creen que todos en México tienen las mismas oportunidades. Tenemos otros sinónimos como: pipirisnaise y fifí (alude a una “persona presumida y que se ocupa de seguir las modas). Fresa: es un argot usado en el español mexicano para describir a alguien «que pertenece a una clase social privilegiada, generalmente de dinero» y hace referencia a un determinado estilo de vida, comportamientos, hábitos, forma de hablar. Naco: El diccionario de mexicanismos lo define como algo o alguien vulgar, de mal gusto; sin urbanidad o civismo; de origen indígena, o de bajos recursos. Prieto: En el diccionario del Colegio de México, se define como alguien de piel oscura. Regularmente se usa de forma peyorativa. Indio: Usado peyorativamente se define como aquel "individuo económica y socialmente débil". Vamos a definir rápidamente otras palabras comúnmente usadas por los mexicanos. Güero: Una persona con cabello rubio o piel blanca. Ruco: Una persona que tiene una edad avanzada. Joto o maricón: Homosexual o afeminado. Una persona cobarde y miedosa. Todas estas palabras son usadas por todos los mexicanos, sin embargo, son producto de la discriminación. Recuerda que ofender a cualquier persona es una pérdida de tiempo y no es productivo.

La ciudad de Oaxaca es muy segura ¡no te preocupes¡ aquí hay muchas actividades que podrás hacer. Puedes pasear por la ciudad y admirar las casas pintadas de diferentes colores, también algunos murales y la arquitectura. También puedes ir al mercado a probar la gastronomía, puedes sentarte en un café para leer algo o simplemente relajarte, igualmente podrías ir a una terraza a tomar algo. También recomiendo mucho hacer un recorrido guiado a las mezcalerías para ver el proceso de esta bebida, y si tienes tiempo ¡visita las zonas arqueológicas! Y si te aburres después de algunos días de haber estado en la Ciudad puedes tomar un Autobús a las playas de Puerto Escondido. Después de visitar Oaxaca te recomiendo que vayas a San Cristóbal de las Casas en el Estado de Chiapas, es una ciudad colonial hermosa. Hay un montón de iglesias, galerías de arte, casas coloniales y mucho arte urbano. La ciudad es muy segura, no tienes que preocuparte. En San Cristóbal podrás dar un paseo por sus calles, admirar las casas antiguas, las plazas, las iglesias, visitar los mercados y amarás esta ciudad rodeada por montañas. Recuerda llevar una chamarra porque hace frío. Ahora que ya estás en el Sur del país te recomiendo que vayas al Estado de Yucatán, este Estado es uno de los más seguros y aquí podrás visitar zonas arqueológicas, cenotes, playas, naturaleza y su capital: Mérida. Podrás hacer una visita guida o tomar el turibus o simplemente pasear por la ciudad. Te recuerdo que Mérida es una de las ciudades más seguras de México, disfruta tu viaje! Después de Mérida te recomiendo terminar el recorrido por el país en Quintana Roo, en este Estado se encuentran las playas más populares para los extranjeros, me refiero a Cancún, Tulum y Playa del Carmen, estoy seguro que has escuchado hablar sobre estas playas. Toma un autobús desde Mérida y llegarás en aproximadamente 5 horas. Te recomiendo buscar más información en internet, ver videos. ¡Busca información sobre precios, sobre alojamiento, visitas guiadas, comida, rutas, aeropuertos, museos, etc! Por supuesto hay otros lugares en México para visitar, y a mí me falta viajar más por México. En otro episodio hablaré de otros lugares que no incluí en este episodio.

Pero antes vamos a responder una pregunta sobre la seguridad en México, que supongo muchos de ustedes tienen. ¿Es seguro viajar en México? La respuesta: Sí y depende el lugar que quieras visitar. Hay algunos Estados que yo les aconsejo evitar. Por ejemplo el Estado de Michoacán y Guanajuato, siempre escucho en las noticias sobre la delincuencia organizada, homicidios y crímenes. De hecho el Gobierno de los Estados Unidos emite una alerta para evitar viajar a Michoacán, Tamaulipas, Colima, Guerrero y Sinaloa. Entonces toma en cuenta evitar estos estados. Yo no he ido a estos estados porque veo las noticias y son muy negativas. También les puedo compartir mi experiencia sobre mi viaje el año pasado al Estado de Guerrero, específicamente a Acapulco. Yo tenía miedo al principio, pero pregunté a los locales sobre la seguridad en Acapulco y me dijeron que es muy seguro ahora, y también pude verlo, durante una semana todos los días caminé en la noche y no tuve ningún problema. ¿Qué destinos o lugares recomiendas visitar? Para empezar les recomiendo que la Ciudad de México sea su primer destino. En la Ciudad de México te puedes sentir seguro, siempre y cuando te quedes en las zonas turísticas. Tienes que usar el sentido común y evitar ciertos lugares. ¡No vayas a los lugares lejos del centro! Estos barrios no cuentan con buena seguridad y también son los menos interesantes. Si tomas un vuelo directo a la CDMX llegarás al Aeropuerto Benito Juárez, el aeropuerto está dentro de la Ciudad y puedes tomar un taxi que te llevará al Centro, Roma-Condesa o Polanco, tardará aproximadamente unos 40 minutos a 1 hora para llegar a tu alojamiento. De la Ciudad de México te recomiendo viajar a Puebla, puedes ir a la Central de Autobuses (Tapo) y tomar un Autobús de la empresa ADO son autobuses muy cómodos, con aire acondicionado y buen espacio entre los asientos. Aproximadamente tardarás 2 horas en llegar. Puedes visitar el centro de la Ciudad y probar la gastronomía. También puedes visitar Cholula y admirar la arquitectura colonial.

If you want to send an audio recording and tell us about yourself, your story or opinion on some of my podcasts, please send it on our email: speaklikeamexican@gmail.com If you want to study Spanish with us, check out our website: https://www.speaklikeamexican.com.mx/ You can also check out our Youtube Channel Transcript: Los mexicanos en vacaciones de verano Los estudiantes que están estudiando la primaria, secundaria, bachillerato y universidad, regularmente tienen vacaciones en el mes de Julio y Agosto, las vacaciones duran aproximadamente 20 días. Durante esta temporada también los maestros salen de vacaciones, y en muchas oficinas los empleados tienen al menos una semana de vacaciones. Así que las familias mexicanas, amigos y parejas aprovechan estos meses del año para hacer diferentes actividades. La mayoría de los mexicanos tienen ganas de ir a la playa, somos fanáticos de visitar la playa para disfrutar del mar y el sol. Entre los destinos más populares se encuentran: 1. Mazatlán, Sinaloa: Si viajas en avión desde la Ciudad de México harás aproximadamente una hora con 52 minutos. Es una playa muy hermosa, donde podrás visitar el malecón, hacer Kayak, buceo o pesca. 2. Cancún, Quintana Roo: Supongo que muchos de ustedes han escuchado hablar de estas playas, y probablemente han visto fotos de sus hermosas playas de arena blanca, sus aguas azul turquesa y arrecifes de coral. Si tomas un vuelo sin escalas desde Ciudad de México tarda aproximadamente dos horas con quince minutos. 3. Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco: En estas playas podrás hacer diferentes actividades al aire libre como: tirolesa, paseos en cuatrimoto, recorridos a caballo o en bicicletas de montaña, rappel y caminatas tranquilas. Un vuelo sin escalas desde la Ciudad de México puede durar aproximadamente dos horas con 35 minutos. 4. Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo: Durante verano hay muchos turistas nacionales y extranjeros. Podrás conocer y explorar los cenotes, parques de aventura y exclusivos resorts. Si estás en Cancún puedes visitar esta playa que queda muy cerca, si tomas el transporte público harás una hora aproximadamente. 5. Acapulco, Guerrero: Este es un destino clásico por su cercanía con la Ciudad de México y el Estado de México. Muchas personas viajan por carretera. Si quieres conducir desde la Ciudad de México tardarás aproximadamente 4 horas. Los mexicanos que por alguna razón no pueden ir a las playas planean visitar a sus familiares en otros estados, hacer alguna actividad en su ciudad. También los padres inscriben a sus hijos a algún curso de verano, por ejemplo, estudiar un idioma, practicar un deporte, aprender a tocar algún instrumento musical, natación, karate, etc. Durante estos meses la Ciudad de México es más tranquila, pues no hay mucho tráfico y gente moviéndose en el transporte público.
