This is the first of two videos at the Men's issues or Men's rights conference. There was a car show going on during the second day of the conference so these are some of the pictures from that car show. You can almost say it was a men's rights car show. har har. Anyways I'll stop with the cheesy humor. This video is about a man called Mark Reed that was asked to leave the conference after acting inappropriately. He was there on the first and second day of the conference and he was inappropriately touching people in the audience and it seems like he was feeling up people that were somehow involved with the media. People that had cameras, audio recorders, etc. When I got there on the first day of the event he came up to me and handed me his card which I'm going to show everyone here. Maybe someone out there can do some additional digging on this guy and find out what he's all about. Paul Elam went on stage and said that some from the Detroit Metro Times wrote an article about Mark Reeds called: "I Was Molested At the Men's Rights Conference" I'm putting a link to that article in the description below so you can take a look at it yourself. Here are some lines from the article itself. This is what the author Lee DeVito had to say: "It was at this point that I got molested at the Men's Rights conference.An older man came up to me and immediately complimented my hairy arms (a first). He then started telling me all this crazy shit, about how he was from California and he makes movies and he wants to take me to Malibu and loves hairy guys. Regardless of sexual orientation, it was pretty weird. People started filling up the seats around us and I didn't want to make a scene, so I just politely accepted the compliment and tried to deflect. The dude kept petting my arms." That's what Lee DeVito said and Mark Reed also told me to come to California and that he was making movies out there and so I decided to look up the books and the movies that he was working on in California. This video is mainly to do with my thoughts about CAFE, better known as The Canadian Association For Equality and how they fit into the equal rights movement as well as the men's rights movement. I was out volunteering and shot a video for them this past weekend and had some time to get to know the volunteers instead of just filming a talk by the lecturers they usually have at their events. And I want to share my experience about what I saw and more importantly how I felt about the experience. I'm going to show the video here but if you haven't already I urge everyone to go over to the video on CAFE's youtube page and subscribe to their channel. I'm including a link to the video on their page in the description below. A few days ago I heard Paul Elam at a voice for men says that CAFE needs to recognize the dirty tricks that feminism uses and stand up them instead of being as relaxed about it as they seem to be. I think CAFE is taking the opposite point of view. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think CAFE is doing a great job specifically because their volunteers are more relaxed and easy going and positive. People in general respond better to a positive message then a negative one. If you're in someones face looking angry and mean people will subconsciously think and feel that you're message must also be negative. But if you put on a smile and positive message then more people will listen to you and take your message seriously. It's also hard for people to take you seriously when you're using foul language to get your message across. Or if you're using a negative tone of voice you're not going to have people listen to either MGTOW, MRA or in the case of CAFE (ERA or Equal Rights Associations) because that's the way that I see CAFE. It's not about aiming to push rights for one sex or gender over the other and I think if more groups show up like that then we can reduce the number of radical feminists in society and also reduce the number of misogynists in society. And I believe that we are moving into a future where men and women are going to have to work as partners once more for the simple act of survival. I've said it before and I'll say it again. Just because I choose to go my own way and avoid relationships doesn't mean that most guys in society will embrace the MGTOW movement or consume and digest red pill knowledge. Most men and women will continue to wear their blinders when it comes to relationships and marriage and there is simply no way of changing that. And I don't want to re-iterate that male female relations should go back to some form of traditionalism. We are in uncharted waters. In the history of humanity men and women have never experienced the relative peace stability and freedom that we are enjoying today. And just because we have it today doesn't necessarily mean we will have it tomorrow. The question of dating and Men Going Their Own Way has made me ponder whether or not MGTOW men should be dating and what it means for them. Some of you guys out there like the Mayor or MGTOW continue to date and have girlfriends even though they are MGTOWs. Anyways, now I want to get on with the topic of MGTOW dating. Before it was rebuilt there was a section on MGTOW Dot com that explains the different levels of Men Going Their Own Way. The first level of MGTOW is called situational awareness. This level includes men who are aware of the realities that face them in society, and yet deem the risks acceptable to have a go at playing the game. I would consider level one MGTOWs as purple pill kind of guys. They know the risks and dangers of paternity fraud, hyper-gamy, high divorce rates, unfair alimony and these level one guys still say ok the risk is acceptable for them to go forth and multiply. They are comfortable enough going out and dating and looking for a relationship. They have the knowledge about female and male biology and interpersonal relations but their biological drive and imperative is still driving them towards relationships and the red pill alarm bells are going off in their heads but they are still pushing towards long term relationships and marriage. Level one men going their own way are purple pill kind of guys. They haven't given up on dating and women and are possibly out there looking for a woman that's that special one in a million that will make them happy. I would classify Paul Elam over at a voice for men as a level one MGTOW or purple pill kind of guy because he has been in a relationship for about a decade now but I believe he doesn't want to move in with her and get married. This week we have as our guests none other than Paul Elam and Dean Esmay who will talk about the recent MHRA rally in Toronto over the weekend.  This was an historic event that marked the first time MHRAs got together in public to express their views bringing the movement out of the digital medium and into the physical.  Paul and Dean will be describing events from a personal prospective and we will discuss what this event means for the future of the MHRM. The Canadian Association for Equality is hosting yet another lecture on men's issues at the University of Toronto tomorrow evening. The speaker, Dr Miles Groth, will be talking about why men's centers are needed on university campuses, and highlighting some of the biggest problems young men face in educational attainment. This is gearing up to be a major event, with a rally in Queen's Park for men and boys in crisis on the roster for the following day, sponsored by a number of advocacy organizations, including NCFM, AVFM and CCW.    Planning to attend are Paul Elam, Tom Golden, Dean Esmay, myself (Karen Straughan), Raz (the head of MRE), and even Nick Reading, Edmonton city council candidate and founding member of the Patriarchy Party. A documentary film crew will also be there, to record this historic event, and we hope members of the mainstream media will also be in attendance.    A number of feminists are also expected to… heh… attend the event. A women divorces after many years of marriage. Realizing she is now without another adult in the home, she turns to her 12 year old son and says, “You are all I have now.” In another scenario, a father prepares to go on a business trip. Just before hopping a cab to the airport, he looks at his 7 year old boy and says, “You're the man of the house while I am away. Take care of your mother.” In still another home, 15 year old boy's mother spends a lot of time telling him she is unhappy with his father; that she is always lonely and left to care for everything on her own. She is so thankful for her son, her “secret confidant.” He feels important and does what he can to make her feel better. He also learns to hate his father. Parentification and emotional incest is a common theme in many dysfunctional homes. It often begins when a mother, who is supposed to be the caretaker of her child, reverses the roles and makes the child responsible for her emotional needs. It is a subtle and often overlooked form of child abuse.

Daddy Justice has caused quite a few stirs in his time. He walks into the not so hallowed halls of justice in our family court system, as well as offices for our state and national government, and, with camera in hand, asks lots of questions that cannot be answered easily by our representatives. Rather I should say questions that cannot be easily answered by anyone telling the truth. For his trouble his has been assaulted (by an anti-domestic violence advocate no less) pushed around by authorities, and in the latest round was railroaded into court and convicted of disturbing the peace, even when video of his actions proved beyond any doubt that the testimony offered against him was false. Of course, when the cops, prosecutor, judge and complainant (who works in the court) all want a conviction, then false testimony will hardly stand in the way of Law and Order in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. And that is what they got, riding Daddy Justice on a railroad that Southern Pacific would be proud of. The whole story is worth more than passing glance, because more than any other story in recent times, it highlights and accentuates exactly how corrupt our court officials have become. In this case they barely even tried to cover their lies. We've all watched pr0n. In fact, that claim doesn't need to be stated in the past tense. We all watch pronography is also true. Mostly because we're men, and that's what men do – at least according to one or two of the opponents of human rights for men and boys. But women watch  too, because they've been mind controlled by the patriarchy, or something. Or, possibly because we're all social animals, men and women, and the sight of other members of our species engaging in mating behavior – you know – that which propagates the species – is something we find fundamentally compelling. But in the pseudo modern context of the western world, this is called pron, and radical feminists tell us it's bad, and so are we. But radical feminists have their own Pr0n. Radical feminist pr0n depicts an unreal fantasy world too, but not a fantasy world focused on sex. Radical feminist pr0n isn't about the physical actualization of sex. It's about a different kind of emotional gratification. However unlike sexual pronography, in which both male and female characters portray an unnaturally heightened sexuality, and an artificially exaggerated willingness to get naked and horizontal, in radical feminist pron, male characters demonstrate heightened willingness to kill, and to die for female whim. And female characters are universally helpless. There's another difference too, when radical feminists watch their pr0nography, with exaggerated male disposability, hyper violence, and cartoonishly inflated levels of female helplessness and non agency, they don't realize that they're watching pr0n. We live in a society that exists in a very strange dichotomy where it concerns rape. On one hand it is a criminal offense that sometimes leaves lasting psychological damage to victims, regardless of their sex. On the other hand, for a great many women, likely even the majority, the fantasy of rape is a source of intense sexual arousal. It is an area where the lines seem to blur and a split occurs, not in the social or legal arena, but between the mind and the body of woman being raped. One psychotherapist, a victim of rape herself, reported that not only did she experience an orgasm during her rape, but that some of the clients also reported similar experiences. What does this say about the human condition? Is sexual aggression hard wired into the species as a part of reproductive strategy? Is the rape “fantasy” just a deeply embedded remnant; an expression of the common sexual psyche of female humans. It is a tough subject, but it is on for tonight on AVfM Radio. Men, you need to get in touch with your feminine side. What this means is, be more compassionate, demonstrate more empathy towards other people, get in touch with your emotions, and generally be a better human being. This is the message we are routinely bludgeoned with, and mostly, although empathy, compassion and self awareness are certainly good things, this message is at it's base, a message of hatred towards men. It assumes that masculinity and compassion, or empathy, or self awareness are alien and contradictory concepts.   As recently reported by SAVE, and editorialized by Phyllis Schlafly, On February 2, the reauthorization of the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) passed out of the Senate Judiciary Committee.  That in itself is not remarkable. What is remarkable is that all eight Republicans voted “No” to the current Leahy version of the bill up for consideration. Schlafly was quick to pronounce that this admittedly thunderous moment was an indication that Washington Republicans were “no longer intimidated by feminist demands.” And she might be right. The typical leftist suspects are losing their minds. Both CNN and Huffpo are so bent out of shape that they are explicitly calling for the Obama administration to EMPLOY VIOLENCE against the republicans. If Schlafly is correct, then we can start icing down the champagne, because if either party really qualifies as being henceforth unfriendly to feminist governance we're gonna throw a shindig, the likes of which has not been seen since, well, since people started throwing shindigs. But don't get out your party poppers just yet. It is clear that this is a big one. Bigger than big. A straight party line vote against the feminist owned VAWA behemoth is a monstrosity of a change in the status quo, no matter what the reasons. But just like we do with everything else around here, we are going to dig through the politics and other poop and try to piece together what is really happening. We are doing our homework, folks.   In a recent “experiment” I wrote an article on feminist influence in the atheist community. Given that the conversation that followed did not devolve into flame war between the Godly an the Godless, I think it turned out pretty well, and speaks to the focus of MRA's, even those with vastly different views on religion. What also came about in the discussion was an acknowledgement of the ideological parasitism that constitutes modern feminism, and how the philosophy mimics the characteristics of a virus in order to spread. We thought this would make good discussion for the next episode of AVfM Radio, where we will examine how feminist ideology has begun to usurp the collective consciousness of a growing segment of the population that connect to each other based on their rejection of religion. And in that we witness the erosion of reliance on hard science and empiricism that many atheists would say is core to their system of beliefs. Just as we have witnessed in some elements of the religious community, feminist influence has resulted in the undermining of the very principles on which these individuals rely. While we will likely, predictably, need to over explain that we are not pigeon holing the entire atheist world, we do consider this show to be a challenge to vocal atheists to confront the pseudo-science, mythology and outright quackery that feminism is now bringing in to the realm of atheist expression. Hopefully, before we are done, MRA's of differing views will find more common ground, and PZ Myers will be limping to the drug store for some KY Jelly.

  Tonight on AVfM Radio, the subject is jury nullification. Rather the subject is why we advocate for it in cases of rape, domestic violence, drug offenses and all other areas where state and federal governments across the western world have become more criminal than the people they are prosecuting. Rape shield laws mean that in some trials a physical barrier, a literal protective wall, is constructed between the alleged rapist and his alleged victim in order to make the supposed victim feel safer.  It is the visible manifestation of the presumption of guilt put on display right in front of the jury. In other cases key evidence as to an alleged victims credibility is withheld. That's just the legal, institutional stuff. Add to that the immoral scheming and treachery of over-zealous police and prosecutors and you come up with one very undeniable fact. There is no way any person sitting on the jury of a rape trial can know if they are getting seeing evidence of a crime or, or a state constructed circus side show. In that light, there are very few circumstances that justify a juror voting for a conviction when the obligation is to hold the evidence to a “reasonable doubt” standard. And the problem is not confined to rape. From prosecutions of so called domestic violence to the war on drugs, the criminal justice system has been remolded into a tool for tyrants control the masses and satisfy the appetites of rent-seeking beurocrats and other state functionaries. Fortunately, there is a way to fight back against this kind of malfeasance. Tonight Join JtO and Paul as we dig deeper into the criminalization of masculinity and the criminalization of humanity itself.

Some facts to consider before listening: 1.     More people are incarcerated in the United States than any other industrialized nation. 2.     Most of those imprisoned are for non-violent crimes, such as drug offenses and failure to pay child support. 3.     Congress is currently engaged in turning over the penal system to private contractors. 4.     Those private contractors are subletting the labor produced by those incarcerated to other corporate entities. Add to the mix that we are now undergoing a massive expansion of what is considered criminal conduct in men, from having sex with an intoxicated woman to simply asking for sex and getting it, and you have a prescription for the most tyranny we have ever seen in American history. Other countries are following suit. Australian, Sweden, India have all begun adopting laws that ultimately undermine any notion of civil rights and could well land men in prison committing crimes that no civilized society has ever considered unlawful.

  Female entitlement, a subject near and dear to the heart of many an MRA, is often a target of the work we do at A Voice for Men. For the uninitiated, this is an extension of a debate challenge that was issued by Frost in reaction to a piece I did on Game and PUA. That debate will start running this Monday night with my first response to Frost, who now has a contributor level account at this website. The debate will conclude on Saturday. We are going to run the show up to a full three hours, depending on the number of phone calls that come in. MRA's, MGTOW, PUA's and Game advocates are all welcome to call in and have your unbridled voices heard.  Only one rule: This isn't Fox News so no shouting matches. I give my word that you will be allowed to have your say and the only constraints put on you will be to accommodate other callers that wish to speak. Also, it will help both our causes if everyone keeps it reasonably civil. This should be a very interesting show. Women who make false allegations against their step-children to try to create a wedge between their husbands and children from previous relationships. In other words, this episode is about "lies and the lying liars who tell them" (--- Senator Al Franken --- politics be damned --- that's a great turn of phrase).

It's anything but universal. In fact, it is saturated with sexually based privilege for women financed with a swift kick in the pants to men and boys. But is that really anything new, or is it just more of the same in system that has long operated on the idea that “the preferred sex” is really the only one worth saving?   London is burning. So far, 525 people have been arrested, 44 police officers have been injured and one man is dead. Untold buildings have burned to cinders while streets have been trashed and overrun by demonstrators. The mainstream media is covering every last detail of the crisis that erupted after the police shooting death of Mark Duggan, a local resident of Tottenham. News agencies are investigating every nuance of the story; except, of course, why it is actually happening. Politicians have begun posturing and making public statements; pointing fingers and drawing lines between the supposed lawful and the lawless; the decent and the depraved.  And of course they are targeting anyone but themselves and anything but their policies that have left young men disenfranchised and disaffected. The havoc continues, and tonight on AVfM Radio hosts Paul Elam and JtO will make easy work of a simple issue: Why young men get angry when police gun them down in the street.

  Just a few weeks ago we announced that feminist Jessica Valenti had been placed on the offender's registry at register-her.com for bigotry and advocating policies of gender profiling and discrimination. Valenti's response was to send out a tweet to her followers on twitter seeking assistance in removing her personal information from the internet. This in spite of the fact that none of her personal information was published, nor were there ever any plans to that effect. Perhaps a guilty conscience? Regardless of whatever motivation Valenti may have had for the action, she is a public figure and subject to the same pressures and scrutiny that applies to all public figures. She is not exempt from public criticism or investigation because she is a woman or because she is a feminist. And the more you look into her articles for publications like the Washington Post the more apparent it becomes that even more tracking of her actions will be needed in the future. Bigotry is alive and well in America, and its effects are not just confined to the typically identifiable minority groups that we all know to be targets. Valenti is a misandrist; a hater of men and boys, and her efforts to advocate policies and social norms that hurt males by design are now a well-documented part of the public record. This show is dedicated to shedding more light on this subject, and to exposing misandry in modern culture, broadly defined. Tune in to your hosts. I don't know who you are sir, but I can tell you what you are worth. If your partner was to cut off your p*nis tonight, the world would laugh. What a piece of sh*t is man. Three sentences of absolute truth, the veracity of which has been yet again verified recently with the sexual mutilation of a southern California man by his wife, Catherine Kieu Becker. According to police, Becker drugged her husband, tied him up, cut off his p*nis and tossed it into a running garbage disposal. She then informed police that “he deserved it.” The reason? They had a spat over a house guest and he wanted a divorce. The public reaction? Raucous laughter. In short, (no pun intended) a good time was had by all. As a side note here, the addition of JtO as co-host of AVfM Radio has already upped the energy and intensity of the show.  Reviews have come in that the show is getting better with each episode, largely due to Paul's brilliant and auspicious call to add he-of-three-letters to the team. :-) So tune in gents and ladies, come Tuesday you are going to be hearing A Voice for Men Radio step it up to yet another level.  We are already the show the fembots are afraid to call. JtO and I are going to cover a variety of topics, from the recent effort to end women's prisons in England to The Ultimate Men's Summit to spending some time with Steve Berkimer of the False Rape Society who recently attended, and survived, SlutWalk Chicago, a veritable Macy's parade of Windy City Waddling Windbags, carrying signs and way too much body fat. And of course, the star of the show, YOU. So power up those phones, dust off those stagnant BINGO cards and be sure to call us.  We want your uncensored opinions on all those subjects, or whatever else is on your mind. And remember, A Voice for Men Radio is the only spot in the free world where feminists are too afraid to open their mouths and lie. Dontcha just love it?

  This episode of A Voice for Men Radio, on May 24, 2011 at 8:00 p.m. CST is all about the activism.  In your f-ing face activism. AVfM has demonstrated in a relatively short period of time that small groups of very dedicated activists can get some things done, and quite easily.  We are not yet near the realization of our potential, but we do know one thing for sure. We are getting noticed. And as much as many mainstream feminists are still trying to pretend we don't exist, we are making some of them very, very nervous. Recently they have even tried to use a court of law to shut us up. God I love the sound of that. In fact, I was disappointed that no gag order was issued so that I could defy it with scathing, provocative editorials and a radio special. But we are well on our way to that, and this show will mark the moment we took the first small step toward the next level.  It's an all MRA night at AVfM Radio, and if you are an MRA (emphasis on the A) or seriously want to become one, you will really enjoy this show, and you will get a chance to add your good ideas into the mix. One caveat, with all respect, we benefit most, not from people who want to say what we “ought” to do, but from those who want to say what they are willing to do themselves, and what they are doing.  This type of show will become a regular feature on AVfM Radio in the future, so please join me, and your new co-host JTO, for an open discussion about how we are going to get in their faces…and stay there.

We will begin our next A Voice for Men Radio show with an update on the Vladek Filler affair; a review of media coverage surrounding the pending rape case and Mary Kellett's attempt to keep everyone on the entire planet from talking about it. We will move on from there, though, with a very special guest who attended the most recent “SlutWalk” in Vancouver, British Columbia.  This MRA took the grand tour, interviewing several of the self-proclaimed sluts, asking them questions about what the SlutWalk meant to them.  He will join us live on the program to translate their answers from Slutese to English, which should be quite an education. There has been a lot of speculation about the real nature of the SlutWalks. I have heard every possible interpretation from social event to fashion statement to a vanity parade for the facially and anatomically challenged. Then, of course, there is the reasons given by the promoters, which is to stop the world thinking that women can play a role in their own personal safety. Not so sure about that last one. Anyway, if you have your own ideas about the SlutWalks and what they mean, and I am sure you do, just call in to the show (or skype in if you are a registered listener) and let us hear what's on your mind. Of course slutologists, amateur or professional, are welcome to give their opinions as well. We are all about inclusion here.
