Happy Monday girlies! Missed you so much last week, and I'm glad to be back ❤️ Today's episode is about downplaying our calling. How many times have you dismissed your assignment from God because you thought it wasn't a big deal? How often have you let doubt, pride, or fear convince you that what God asked you to do doesn't matter? Too often, we minimize our calling, forgetting that God placed this assignment on our lives for a reason. The things he is asking us to do are important and should be treated as such. Listen as we discuss the importance of showing up even when we don't feel like it, how our obedience impacts others, and five practical steps to push past doubt and fully embrace what God has called us to do. JD Vance DESTROYS ABC anchor DOWNPLAYING Tren de Aragua's CRIMES!
During a question and answer session with reporters this week, Donald Trump was asked about service members that were victims of an attack that happened when he was president, and Trump claimed that they "got some headaches." The truth is that these service members suffered severe traumatic brain injuries under his watch, and he's trying to downplay the severity in order to make himself look better. Also, Michael Steele, the former chairman of the RNC, said this week that anyone considering voting for Donald Trump needs to "stop being stupid." In other words, he thinks voting for Trump is something that only someone that is stupid would do. And he's not wrong. Putting partisanship aside, when you look at Trump's history and his future plans there is nothing in there that a sane person should be excited about. And a judge in Arizona handed down a ruling against Rudy Giuliani this week after Giuliani tried to get his hands on all of the grand jury material that led to his indictment in the state. Giuliani had claimed that the grand jury was biased against him, but the judge slapped it down by saying that he had not provided "one scintilla" of evidence to back up his claim. Giuliani is in the fight of his life right now, and he is losing badly. Finally, with just one month to go until the election, the latest polling data has absolutely no good news to offer Donald Trump. Nate Silver's forecast model has now shifted 12 states to Kamala Harris, and other forecasters are also shifting more and more states her way - way more than she needs to win. On top of that, new data shows that Trump has completely lost his edge with voters on ALL economic issues, including inflation.Subscribe to our YouTube channel to stay up to date on all of Farron's content: https://www.youtube.com/FarronBalancedFollow Farron on social media!Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/FarronBalancedTwitter: https://twitter.com/farronbalancedInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/farronbalancedTikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@farronbalanced?lang=enText and and let us know your thoughts on today's stories!
Join me as I talk with experienced Business Continuity Management (BCM), Incident Management, and Emergency Response specialist, Jennifer Park, as we discuss why organizations and leadership downplay the importance of BCM along with what it can offer organizations. During our discussion we touch on: 1. Defining BCM and resilience (Jennifer's view), 2. Viewing BCM as a short-term initiative, 3. 'Chicken little' syndrome, 4. Periodic rebuilding of programs, 5. Create and show value, 6. AI has the answers, 7. RTO misunderstandings, 8. Aligning BCM with IT, 9. Not understanding impacts and dependencies (it's not just the number of people using an application!), 10. Decisions, 11. Prioritization and reprioritization, 12. Tips to improve BCM visibility...and much more! Jennifer share some great insights on why organization leadership may not fully understand the complexity and benefits of a good BCM program, while also offer suggestions on how to improve our own if we aren't getting the traction we want. Enjoy!

Dr. Mark Miravalle discusses the Vatican's new guidelines on evaluating Marian apparitions, highlighting a significant shift in authority from local bishops to the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith (DDF). Dr. Miravalle expresses concerns that this centralization may undermine the principle of subsidiarity and distance the faithful from vital spiritual phenomena. He emphasizes the crucial role of Marian apparitions in guiding the faithful, especially in times of crisis, and questions whether this change might weaken the Church's connection with its followers when divine guidance is most needed.Download the all-new LSNTV App now, available on iPhone and Android!LSNTV Apple Store: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/lsntv/id6469105564 LSNTV Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lifesitenews.app ****SHOP ALL YOUR FUN AND FAVORITE LIFESITE MERCH! https://shop.lifesitenews.com/ +++Connect with John-Henry Westen and all of LifeSiteNews on social media:LifeSite: https://linktr.ee/lifesitenews John-Henry Westen: https://linktr.ee/jhwesten Hosted on Acast. Hi everyone,This episode was scheduled for public release in a week, but I got too many messages and emails asking when this will be released to everyone. Here it is! In this episode, I interview Dr. Adeel Khan, a leading innovator and clinician in the regenerative medicine space. He runs Eterna Health where he's treated people like Tony Robbins, Jordan Peterson, and Israel Adesanya. While the focus of the conversation was initially about the fundamentals of regenerative medicine, we had to discuss vaccine injuries since before we started rolling, Dr. Khan told me how he's successfully treated hundreds of vaccine-injured patients.Dr. Adeel Khan explains that stem cell therapy can help regulate and restore the immune system by reprogramming white blood cells to send the right signals. This is particularly beneficial for individuals with chronic inflammation, such as those with myocarditis. Stem cells can interact with the heart muscle and help reduce inflammation. Dr. Khan acknowledges that the stem cell industry is full of shady clinics, but his clinic is focused on research and pushing the field forward. He is confident in his protocols and believes he can successfully treat most vaccine injuries and psychosomatic long COVID cases. He emphasizes the importance of informed consent and the need for more awareness and options for patients.(NOTE: I am not endorsing any particular treatment or product here. I only gave Dr. Khan a platform to delineate the remarkable success he's seen at his clinic. I was skeptical in the conversation and pushed him on what seems to be “too good to be true” but Dr. Khan stood his ground and presented a compelling rationale for his clinical protocols. I encourage everyone to go in with an open mind and consider this as a *potentially* highly effective alternative to the current failures in the medical system to treat vaccine-injured patients.)The Illusion of Consensus is a citizen-supported podcast. To receive exclusive posts and support our work, consider becoming a paid subscriber:Takeaways* Dr. Khan emphasizes the importance of a nuanced approach to vaccination and the need to explore alternative treatments for COVID, such as peptides and lifestyle interventions.* He highlights the potential risks and benefits of mRNA vaccines, including the use of lipid nanoparticle vectors and the potential for offsite targets and immunogenicity.* Stem cell therapy can regulate and restore the immune system by reprogramming white blood cells to send the right signals.* Stem cells can interact with the heart muscle and help reduce inflammation in individuals with myocarditis.* He is confident in his protocols and believes he can successfully treat most vaccine injuries and long COVID cases.* There is not comprehensive, robust RCT evidence on stem cell therapies but they have shown incredible efficacy in various clinical settings. Dr. Khan believes they should be presented as viable alternative or option on the table rather than a magic bullet which can cure all diseases.Chapters00:00 Introduction to Dr. Adeel Khan and Regenerative Medicine02:27 Shift in Focus to COVID Vaccines and Vaccine Injuries14:47 Vaccine Mandates and the Lack of Nuanced Approach23:57 The mRNA Platform and its Issues39:55 Connecting the Issues with mRNA Vaccines to Vaccine Injuries41:31 Lack of Transparency and Downplaying by Regulatory Bodies44:33 The Limitations and Risks of Psychiatric Drugs53:40 Treating Vaccine Injuries: A Holistic Approach01:01:16 Restoring Immune and Heart Function with Stem Cells01:08:57 Addressing the Underlying Causes of Health Issues01:18:16 Regulating the Immune System and Controlling Inflammation01:19:06 Retraining the Immune System with Stem Cell Therapy01:19:55 Treating Myocarditis and Restoring Heart Function01:21:15 Investing in Research and Legitimizing Stem Cell Therapy01:22:22 The Importance of Large Clinical Trials and Safety01:32:46 Restoring Immune Dysregulation with Stem Cell Therapy01:34:39 Impressive Safety Profile of Stem Cell TherapyListen now:Apple podcasts / SpotifySound Bites* "There's a lot of undocumented adverse effects that people will never know the true incidence and prevalence of these injuries because they're just not all going to be reported." - Dr. Adeel Khan* "I just never understood why we weren't looking or why weren't we promoting healthy lifestyle? Jason's story began in the fast-paced world of finance where he spent 21 years of his career. His life took an unexpected turn during his early professional years when he fell seriously ill. Battling not one but several autoimmune diseases, Jason faced an even more harrowing challenge at age 23: a diagnosis of a degenerative eye disease with the grim forecast of complete blindness by 30. Doctors offered no hope, but Jason, who had always considered himself the epitome of good health, refused to accept this as his fate. Alternative episode title: Famous Last Words In this episode, The Daylovers (Jes, Joe, and Ash) talk about: *what Datty is learning in polyamory (fear of trying and failing at finding compatible partners), *what Ash is learning about parenthood and co-parenting (letting go of attachment, not trying to immediately nip things in the bud or cast judgment, learning to pause...), *what Jes is learning in polyamory, which she breaks down to what she is learning through each of her partners: >>with Joe: are we "just" gay best friends? >>with Dr. M: learning to lean into my fear of my partner's expansion, which is really just fear of my own, >>with Loverboy: (GASP. WHO IS LOVERBOY?? Find out inside this episode!) Most heatedly, they talk about the dreadful art of "Downplaying" after Joe accuses Jes of downplaying her connection with Loverboy. Downplaying in polyamory can be a really contentious topic. Downplaying can be: pretending that new connections don't have a sexual or romantic vibe when they actually do, dampening one's excitement or hope about a new connection, dampening how you actually feel about a new connection, downplaying the possibilities of what may come, etc... This convo gets real and honest as fuck, and we're excited to bring y'all into the room with us and how we work through conflict/call each other out on our bullshit. On this week's episode of the pod, we are joined by Drs. Spencer and Karl Nadolsky (Docs Who Lift) to discuss concerns surrounding Dr. Andrew Huberman, a popular science communicator. We set the stage with a conversation about Huberman's background and his growing platform-- and how his content has evolved over time. We highlight the potential harm of misinformation in the wellness industry and the ways that Huberman has blurred the line between science and pseudoscience. We discuss the importance of context and nuance in scientific discussions-- and the reliance on well-designed human studies versus those conducted solely in animals or Petri dishes. We address the financial conflicts of interest in the wellness industry and the role of marketing tactics in shaping public perception. We do deep dives into two specific episodes of Huberman's podcast and debunk certain claims he's made. The conversation concludes with a call to action to prioritize evidence-based information. Downplaying accomplishments is a common tendency that many individuals share, often unintentionally diminishing the significance of our achievements. Consequently, in a world where self-promotion often takes center stage, some of us may find ourselves caught in the dilemma of not wanting to appear boastful while still wanting due recognition for our efforts. However, one common misconception is that downplaying accomplishments is a sign of humility. Hence, the challenge lies in recognizing the fine line between humility and self-acknowledgment. We must recognize that humility is not about denying your strengths; it's about using them to uplift others. And that embracing humility doesn't necessitate suppressing our accomplishments but instead, encourages a balanced acknowledgment of our strengths without overshadowing the contributions of others. Thus, as we acknowledge our achievements and strengths, we should do so with a mindset that seeks to inspire and uplift those around us because humility becomes a powerful force when it is intertwined with the celebration of success that turns personal victories into collective triumphs. In the words of one of our guests, "It's not about shouting from the rooftops about your successes; it's about the journey and the lessons learned along the way." In this special episode, we will recall the empowering stories shared by the diverse array of guests, ranging from medical professionals in various specialties to pro and collegiate athletes, entrepreneurs, lawyers, accountants, and more. With a remarkable lineup of over 133 episodes that were released consistently over the last 2.5 years, we will reflect on how maintaining such dedication and consistency paved the way to establish this podcast as a unique platform where life, sports, and medicine intersect. Tune in as we revisit memorable moments, showcase life-changing stories, and express gratitude to the guests who generously shared their experiences and insights to make our podcast a wealth of knowledge and encouragement. “Don't take yourself too seriously. I'd rather pat somebody else on the back than to pat my own self.” –Derrick Burgess “Success is achievable no matter where you come from, no matter how you started. As long as you have determination, drive, grit and willingness to overcome obstacles, you can do whatever you want to do.” –Derrick Burgess "When you set your heart and mind to something, you can do whatever you want. It's a mindset, and I want to keep that mindset." – Dr. Gulshan Oberoi “Stop looking at what love could do for you and look at what you can do for love.” – Chef Roderick Hollins "If there's something you want to do right now, at whatever age you are, just get it done. Coach Tony Thompson "The role of men of the family is to be the leaders that move forward into the next decade." – Thomas Burgess II "We have to tell each other to trust your vision when we're in the throes of the bad situation." – Amanda Hill "Adversity does not define who you are. It's not the totality of who you are." – Tessa Wilson "There is a process that God puts you through, and that time's needed for you to develop for what he has planned for you. But he's not going to allow you to move too fast if you're not ready because then you're going to squander, so be patient and embrace it." – Coach Troy Jones Connect with Dr. Derrick Burgess: Website: https://www.drderrickthesportsdr.com/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/drderrickthesportsdr/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/TimeOut.SportsDr LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/derrick-burgess-72047b246/ YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCHGDu1zT4K_X6PnYELu8weg Email: thesportsdoctr@gmail.com This episode of TimeOut with the SportsDr. is produced by Podcast VAs Philippines - the team that helps podcasters effectively launch and manage their podcasts, so we don't have to.
