Independent investigative journalism, broadcasting, trouble-making and muckraking with Brad Friedman of BradBlog.com
The host discusses a dramatic confrontation in Los Angeles where ICE agents conducted a law enforcement operation just outside a press conference held by California Governor Gavin Newsom. The host argues this was a deliberate and symbolic act to challenge the "dual justice system" and the notion that laws do not apply to Democrats and those they protect, specifically undocumented immigrants. The segment includes audio clips from Governor Newsom, Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, and a DHS spokesperson, Tricia McLaughlin, who confirms the arrests of violent criminals, including pedophiles and gang members. The host highlights the hypocrisy of Democratic officials who express outrage over the arrests of these criminals, and the segment concludes by celebrating the Trump administration's efforts to end sanctuary city policies and enforce federal law, much to the dismay of the "outraged" Democratic leadership
The host discusses the effectiveness of the administration's new strategy to use federal power to address illegal immigration and lawlessness in sanctuary cities. The host links this to previous incidents of civil unrest, arguing that a similar show of federal force is now being used to combat illegal immigration. The host notes that in a new development, the mayor of Washington D.C. has begun to cooperate with federal immigration agencies, ending sanctuary city policies, and that this could be a blueprint for other cities. The host then claims that Democrats are hypocritical for being outraged by an ICE raid outside a Gavin Newsom press conference, while simultaneously supporting laws that benefit criminal immigrants. The host argues that this is not about public safety, but about the Democrats' desire to secure future voters. The host connects this to a wider issue of voter fraud, with Social Security numbers being given to illegal immigrants for the purpose of getting on the payroll and inflating census numbers. The host believes these actions show a powerful, centralized effort to subvert the political system.
A discussion on the political struggle to gain access to federal government databases and the subsequent findings of widespread fraud. The hosts recount the conflict between the new administration, led by the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) and its allies, including Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, and entrenched bureaucrats and Democrats who fought to block access. The hosts detail the legal battles and ultimate success in accessing the Social Security database. They reveal the findings, which include 275,000 illegal immigrants and 12.4 million people over 120 years old on the Social Security rolls. The hosts argue this fraud was a deliberate strategy by the previous administration to pad voter numbers and provide income to a demographic of new immigrants. The segment concludes with a critique of Democratic opposition to these "America First" policies and a preview of upcoming show topics.

On Wednesday's Mark Levin Show, George and Alex Soros are relentlessly working to undermine this nation. Despite the Soros family amassing billions from this country, they choose to finance antisemitic protestors, purchase radio stations to sway public opinion, and back radical Democrats and influencers. They are now supporting protests against President Trump's crime crackdown in Washington, D.C., including a $20 million contribution to groups opposing the deployment of National Guard troops and federalization of D.C.'s police. When will the Republicans investigate the Soros family? Also, Gov Mike Dunleavy calls in to discuss the Trump/Putin meeting in Alaska this Friday. In addition, Alaska's energy resources are vital, but under the Biden and Obama administrations, the state faced restrictive federal policies. In contrast, Trump has liberated Alaska's energy sector. Later, Democrats, having lost touch with the cultural zeitgeist, are attempting to fracture the MAGA coalition built by Trump. Their strategy involves exploiting internal disagreements within MAGA, using media-driven wedge issues like foreign policy and the Epstein case to create divisions. “Some are being advanced by paid influencers and operatives, along with bot armies, to split the movement.” Afterward, Gov Greg Abbott calls in and addresses the ongoing issue of redistricting in Texas, where a special 30-day legislative session is nearing its end with less than a week remaining. Democrats in the Texas House, numbering 62 out of 150 members, left the state to block a quorum, which requires two-thirds of the House and Senate to act, preventing a vote on redistricting. Abbott expressed confidence in passing the redistricting legislation by calling consecutive special sessions if needed. Finally, Gov Ron DeSantis calls in to announce his new Lieutenant Gov Jay Collins. They discuss Florida's appeal and the need for redistricting to ensure fair representation, especially in rapidly growing areas like Tampa Bay and Sarasota. They also advocate for a census that counts only legal residents and points out California's gerrymandered district maps, which favor liberal candidates despite being drawn by an independent commission. Sarah, Tim and JVL are BACK! Trump turns a late-night DC fight into an excuse for a full-blown National Guard takeover — complete with a TV personality running the cops. The gang tackles this absurd “Big Balls” pretext, Trump's upcoming Alaska summit with Putin (and the Billy Joel geography lesson), his bizarre choice of an unqualified weirdo to cook the jobs numbers, and what it all means for the economy, authoritarian crackdowns, and the next elections. Today's Headlines: Trump turned what should've been a straightforward Kennedy Center honoree reveal — shoutout to Sylvester Stallone, Gloria Gaynor, KISS, and Michael Crawford — into another marathon rant. He floated extending National Guard deployments in DC, promised to clear homeless encampments without saying where people will go, and unveiled a pricey 600-troop “Domestic Civil Disturbance Quick Reaction Force” for nationwide protest crackdowns. Down in Texas, Republicans rammed through a gerrymandered congressional map after Trump demanded a special session, while Democrats are still hiding out of state. On the foreign front, Trump is gearing up for his Putin meet-and-greet at an Anchorage military base, warning of “severe consequences” if there's no Ukraine ceasefire. Norway is blaming Russian hackers for sabotaging a dam in April. Trump also nominated former Fox News face Tammy Bruce as deputy ambassador to the UN — even though both the deputy and main gig are currently empty. Will Rogers joked that when thousands of rural Oklahomans fled the 1930s Dust Bowl and migrated to California: “It raised the intellectual level of both states.”Following that line of thought, it occurred to me that America could benefit mightily if the Democratic Party's overbearing corporate contingent were to migrate to their natural domain, the Republican Party. Seriously, as Robert Reich recently wrote: “Who in the world needs corporate Democrats?”Thomas Jefferson warned of the democracy-crushing threat of America's emerging “moneyed corporations.” And, sure enough, here they are today – literally owning the White House, Congress, Judiciary, most state governments… and suppressing democracy itself. They're entrenched not because they're championed by the Republican Party, but because the once-proud party of America's broad working class has also yoked itself to corporate money and embraced Republican policies of corporate supremacy. Where does that leave the great majority of working stiffs on election day? Staying home, feeling abandoned as both parties cater to the moneyed elite. While many corporate Democrats insist they're “social progressives,” it would be a profound public service for them to carry those social values directly into Republican primaries, softening that party's raw minginess a bit. At the same time, their departure would free the Democratic Party from being financially shackled to the corporate agenda, letting it return to its roots as the unequivocating champion of working-class, little-d democrats.By clarifying the core policy differences of both parties, elections could matter to most people again, presenting honest choices between a democratic or a plutocratic future. Pie-in-the-sky? Maybe, or even probably. But baking a pie starts by turning on the heat.Jim Hightower's Lowdown is a reader-supported publication. Gov. Tina Kotek’s office released an analysis this week detailing how much money Oregon stands to lose in federal funding. The state could lose more than $15 billion it uses to pay for health care and food assistance programs and a whole lot more. But Republicans have a different take: It’s not the big beautiful bill that’s going to hit Oregon’s economy, it’s the overtaxing of Oregonians that is hurting the working class. On the latest episode of OPB Politics Now, reporters Dirk VanderHart and Lauren Dake discuss the latest.
New wholesale inflation numbers show prices are rising, but what's really driving this financial storm? On this episode of The Tara Show, we break down why our national debt is a "Ponzi scheme" and why the solution—cutting federal spending—is being blocked by the very people you'd expect to help: Republican leadership in the Senate. We expose the "hostage situation" that is preventing Trump from making crucial recess appointments and passing rescission bills. Plus, we investigate a hilarious lie from Chuck Schumer about the safety of DC and ask a vital question: why have Democrats suddenly stopped caring about Ukraine now that peace might be on the table?
In this segment, the host claims that newly declassified "burn bag" documents prove Democrats and the "Deep State" are "above the law." He highlights a whistleblower's account alleging that a Democrat staffer and members of Congress planned to illegally leak classified information to smear President Trump. The speaker argues this is a direct contradiction to the public statements made by these same officials that "no one is above the law." The monologue also references a document obtained by John Solomon that allegedly shows former Attorney General Sally Yates explicitly ordering the FBI to "shut down" an investigation into the Clinton Foundation. The hosts discuss the political fallout, including a cryptic tweet from Richard Grenell suggesting that Democrats may use Adam Schiff as a "fall guy" for the conspiracy. They conclude by expressing hope that this new evidence will finally lead to accountability for those involved.
This segment argues that a political "civil war" is underway, with Donald Trump's administration clashing with Democrats over the issue of sanctuary cities and illegal immigration. The hosts contend that Democratic leaders are deliberately protecting and hiding illegal immigrants to maintain political power, using them to "steal" congressional districts in the census and replace American voters. They cite quotes from a Minneapolis mayoral candidate and New York officials who openly state their top priority is protecting "undocumented residents." The discussion also features clips from liberal news outlets like PBS and Newsweek, which, according to the hosts, inadvertently admit that Donald Trump's second presidency is more effective and transformative than his first. The hosts attribute this change to Trump's "red pill" moment—his realization that the "Deep State" would not be appeased, leading him to take a more aggressive approach to his agenda. The segment closes with a clip of James Carville expressing fear that the Democratic Party is becoming too radical and losing power.
In this segment, the hosts outline what they believe is a new phase in the administration's strategy to address illegal immigration. They claim the plan, which they suggest is being tested in Washington, D.C., involves using federal authority and resources—including the National Guard and FBI—to override local "sanctuary city" policies. The host argues that this is not just about crime, but about a larger political strategy to counter the "redistricting battle" and prevent Democrats from "stealing" congressional districts by including undocumented immigrants in census counts. The monologue highlights a new ICE recruitment drive and the construction of new deportation facilities as evidence of this concerted effort. They conclude by framing the issue as a "civil war" and urging listeners to join the effort.
