Cette figure de l'écoféminisme mondiale nous invite à cultiver ce qu'elle nomme « la biodiversité de l'esprit » et à semer, sans relâche, des graines d'espoir :«  Mon militantisme m'a montré qu'une grande partie de la destruction du monde est due à la profonde cécité de ceux qui ont le pouvoir. Cette cécité, je l'ai nommé la monoculture de l'esprit. Une riche forêt se trouve devant eux, et ils ne voient qu'un eucalyptus. Face à une immense diversité de plantes qui nous nourrissent, ils ne voient que du maïs qui peut être chimiquement manipulé puis échangé pour des profits. Je n'ai jamais compris comment ceux qui se pensent intelligents sont en même temps aveugles face à la richesse du monde. Mayer was born in Haiti before moving to NYC as a kid, where he graduated at Baruch College in Manhattan with his Bachelors of Business Administration. Due to his upbringing in Haiti, he's passionate about financial literacy and bringing more knowledge of the topic to his community, while providing financial stability to his family, his people, and giving back in more ways.
