He congratulated Trump and invited him to the White House, marking their first meeting since Biden's debate exit. Despite concerns over Trump's "America First" policies, world leaders pledged cooperation. Beloved Cheesecakes belong to God. I am my Beloved and He is mine. He is the one that wanted Beloved Cheesecakes. My name is Jen. I came out of a domestic violence marriage in 2014 with three boys in tow. In the winter of 2015, I was on a food share program. I received a flat of blackberries. I didn't know what to do with so many berries so I decided to make a blackberry cheesecake for my son's teachers for Christmas.By word of mouth I became the cheesecake lady. Then the idea of opening a brick and mortar shop started to become a reality. On a whim I found a space downtown Silverton and inquired about it. Shortly, a Kickstarter was started for me. Everyone in the community got behind me and supported me and fundraised. I had friends and friends of friends across the nation get behind me and supported me. The appliances and everything that I needed for the shop started to fall in my lap.Everything was going outstanding until March of 2020. Then the lockdowns and restrictions came about. The community rallied around us small businesses as best they could. March through June I continued making special orders. Then June of 2020 came and I was done. I was no longer going to abide by the unlawful mandates. I'm essential to my boys and I need to provide. I opened my shop and never looked back after that day.I had to deal with a community that went from supporting us to turning against us. We have always valued and cherished our country and our God given liberties. Coming from a childhood of trauma masking emotions or facial expressions was not an option for myself or sons.We continued to show the public our smiles and joy during the unlawful masking mandates. We accept all individuals, “masked or maskless, vaxxed or vaxedless, whatever gender someone identifies with, whatever religion, race, political affiliation etc. We just love people and want to serve cheesecake. Many in our community didn't like that but we preserved.I chose to listen to God and not man and because of that decision divine appointments started to happen. I had a divine appointment which then led me to meet and be interviewed by Pastor Rob McCoy and Kirk Cameron. They did a documentary called “Non-Essential” which featured me as one of their small business segments in October 2020. That kept us afloat from the support of Pastor Rob's church. We shipped many cheesecakes that holiday season. Then in April of 2021 Fox News show Fox & Friends interviewed me live for a short 4 minute segment. After I got off the zoom call my phone, my email, text messages, Facebook, all started blowing up. It was completely overwhelming. Through that we spoke with countless customers who prayed with us, ordered cheesecakes through us, still to this day we still have customers that order cheesecakes from us.Oh yeah, and during those last two years of not complying… I won the Gold Medal for the Best Dessert in the Willamette Valley contest for 2020 and 2021. In the last two years, we started getting involved in politics and started taking constitution classes. We started becoming involved in Freedom Rallies. I started emceeing Freedom Rallies. Started attracting the attention of candidates running for congress, senate, governor, etc.Fast forward to April 2022, we were vendors with our new to us food cart at the ReAwaken America Tour. We thought we would be selling cheesecake the whole time. Little did we know that Jen was going to meet Judy Mikovits, General Flynn, Eric Trump, and Clay Clark.

Autumn Martin is a proud 4th generation Washingtonian. She finds much inspiration in the natural elements found in the Pacific Northwest and is passionate about incorporating them into her creations—from innovative confections to the brand she’s created with Hot Cakes. Autumn founded Hot Cakes in 2008, selling the namesake, Take n Bake Molten Chocolate Cake in mason jars at Farmer’s Markets in Seattle. In May of 2012, she opened Hot Cakes Molten Chocolate Cakery, an artisan dessert and craft cocktail bar featuring creative, small-batch desserts and fine spirits, to rave reviews. In April of 2013, St. Martin’s Press released herfirst book, Malts & Milkshakes: 60 Recipes for frosty, creamy, frozen treats. Autumn has developed a devoted following over the years, and she is highly respected for her innovative flavor profiles and commitment to creating quality products. Hot Cakes was awarded “Best Dessert” at the NW Chocolate Festival for the last three years and was honored with a “Best New Dessert” nod from Seattle magazine. Most recently, her Pacific Coast Sea Salt Caramel Sauce became a Good Food Award finalist and her Molten Chocolate Cakes were featured on O magazine’s Wow list. Autumn is a graduate of the Culinary Arts Program at Edmonds Community College where she was honored as Student of the Year and now Distinguished Alumni. She worked at Seattle’s world-renowned Canlis restaurant from 2002 to 2004. In 2005, she devoted her life to chocolate and became the head chocolatier for Theo Chocolate where she created award-winning confections and chocolate bars for nearly 5 years. Autumn loves to rock climb, snowboard, surf, eat, love, and sleep.     On Today's show Autumn will share: - What’s Your Personal Mission Statement Be as honest as possible, be compassionate and kind to myself and listen to my gut. - Biggest Business Mistake Hiring family to help me build out the restaurant – it created so much stress, and I knew in the beginning it would turn out to be a mistake but I did it any way. Big, painful mistake that I could have done without. - How Do You Handle Business Stress and Uncertainty I wait. I try to not make any large decision on the fly, so I contemplate and talk it over with friends and colleagues and wait it out until it feels right. For stress - it’s an everyday learning process. I am trying to practice empathy and compassion as most stress is brought on by the actions of others and getting worked up over other peoples actions doesn’t serve me that well, so I am working on keeping calm and staying open and understanding to their position. - Greatest Business Decision That Changed Everything Going for it. I hemmed and hawed over whether or not to open a brick and mortar dessert restaurant and doing so has changed the game completely. We are successful and it feels good. Also, waiting for the right location and the right mix of investors. Having good people on my team makes all the difference in the world. Everybody is so supportive. - Best Book For The Entrepreneurial Mindset Well, I must say that I LOVE Atlas Shrugged. I don’t think it is at all about greed and just about capitalism, but about passionate builders (not just of structures) with visions and their path to living with truth and justice outside the sticky cobwebs of untruthful people. - Plus much more... This week, we have a fresh new mix by veteran British DJ Peter Borg.   We also have a full report on the Oscars of Manila's restaurant industry, which we organize and host every 2 years and that just took place at the end of November. Like most good DJs, Peter was exposed to music at a very young age and worked in radio (Choice FM) before he was old enough to get into clubs.  After holding residencies at Surrey Mansion, Mayfair, Rouge, The Saint, and Cafe de Paris, he started his Simply Salacious brand in 2004, the name behind some of London's most talked about parties held at a number of venues including Ministry of Sound, Area, and Babalou.  Peter has also mixed music on radio stations such as Pressure Radio, and most recently on Kiss FM, when he was approached by founder Gordon Mac to join his new project Mi-Soul. More on Peter Borg music at facebook. We hope to have Peter in Manila in early 2013.  Here's a little something to warm-up to. * * * MANILA’S RESTAURANT INDUSTRY CELEBRATES ITS VERY BEST A near-full moon shone over Enderun Colleges Culinary Center on the night of "The Oscars of Manila’s Restaurant Industry", The MBKRS Awards 2012.  The large hall of the center’s atrium was packed to the brim with chefs, restaurateurs, hoteliers, media and other guests, waiting with bated breath to hear the results that would be announced that night.  30 award categories, 150 nominees, and a panel of over 100 judges—these are the key elements in this prestigious awarding ceremony that recognizes excellence in Manila’s dining scene. This year’s awards were held on November 27 to a record crowd. Before the ceremony began, guests mingled, munched and sipped on fabulous food and wine sponsored by some of the best restaurants and beverage companies in the city.  None other than the honorable secretary of tourism Ramon Jimenez Jr. opened the awards with an inspiring speech.  Jimenez urged restaurants to constantly strive for excellence, all the while maintaining “focus” and “consistency”.   Tourism Secretary Ramon Jimenez addresses the restaurant industry (left).
