Union boss Jimmy Hoffa left his Michigan home for what was supposed to be a peace summit with mobsters Anthony Provenzano and Anthony Giacalone on 30th July, 1975. He never returned home. But Hoffa was much more than just a Mafia stooge. He'd been involved in labour unions from the age of fourteen, rapidly rising through the ranks to become president of the powerful Teamsters Union by 1957. Under his leadership, the union ballooned to over 2 million members. And with great power came great corruption; Hoffa's close ties to organised crime eventually landing him in federal prison for bribery and fraud. In this episode, Rebecca, Arion and Olly explain why Hoffa's intended memoir may have spurred the Mob on to silence him; discover how his father's death led him into activism; and ponder whether it is *ever* a good idea to meet up in a parking lot… Further Reading: • ‘Seven Years Later, Jimmy Hoffa Case Is Still a Mystery' (The Washington Post, 1982): https://www.washingtonpost.com/archive/politics/1982/07/31/seven-years-later-jimmy-hoffa-case-is-still-a-mystery/3ed452a7-78e4-4785-8eef-dd9a0a5782cb/ • ‘Jimmy Hoffa's Disappearance: What Really Happened To Him?' Harvard Law Professor Jack Goldsmith didn't just study organized crime—he lived it. As the son of a notorious mob lawyer and stepson of a hitman, Goldsmith had unprecedented access to the inner workings of America's most powerful criminal organization. Now, his explosive revelations about Jimmy Hoffa's disappearance connect to a conspiracy that reaches the highest levels of government and explains how the mob didn't just influence labor unions—they infiltrated the entire American power structure. This isn't just another Hoffa theory from an outsider. Goldsmith's family connections gave him access to conversations, documents, and secrets that most researchers could never obtain. We're talking about firsthand knowledge of how the mob operated, who gave the orders, and why Hoffa's elimination was just the beginning of a systematic takeover that continues to this day.Our explosive investigation reveals how Goldsmith's unique position allowed him to uncover connections between organized crime families, government agencies, and corporate power structures that most people would find impossible to believe. The rise and fall of the mob wasn't just about bootlegging and gambling—it was about creating a shadow government that could control labor, politics, and information flow across America. From his insider knowledge of mob operations to his later work in government intelligence, Goldsmith witnessed how the same networks that made Hoffa disappear also influence elections, suppress investigations, and maintain control over American institutions. Mystery enthusiasts and truth-seekers know that some witnesses have access to information that others can only speculate about—and this episode proves why Goldsmith's testimony is so dangerous. We'll reveal how labor unions became the mob's gateway to controlling entire industries, how Hoffa's murder connected to ongoing government operations, and how the supposed "fall" of organized crime was actually just their evolution into more sophisticated forms of control. The mob didn't disappear—they went legitimate and became even more powerful. From union halls to government offices, from corporate boardrooms to university lecture halls, this episode exposes how one man's family connections allowed him to document the greatest conspiracy in American labor history. Goldsmith's revelations aren't just academic research—they're insider testimony from someone who grew up in the world that most people only see in movies. The rise and fall of the mob is really the story of how organized crime became organized government, and Goldsmith's unique perspective reveals how this transformation shaped modern America in ways that most citizens never realize. Stream exclusively on Spreaker for uncensored bonus content about Goldsmith's suppressed research, or find us on Amazon Music (ask your Alexa about Jack Goldsmith Hoffa), Apple Podcasts, Spotify, iHeartRadio, and everywhere truth-seekers get their insider reality checks. Some witnesses have access to secrets that others can only imagine—this episode reveals why.
The impossible just happened. After 50 years of government cover-ups, FBI dead ends, and mob silence, the last living person who knows what really happened to Jimmy Hoffa has finally broken his silence—and what he's revealed will shake you to your core. This isn't just another missing person case. This is a doorway into the same shadowy network that controls UFO disclosure, orchestrates government black ops, and keeps humanity's biggest secrets buried. The same forces that made Hoffa disappear are the ones hiding extraterrestrial contact, suppressing free energy technology, and covering up encounters with unknown entities. Our exclusive investigation reveals how Hoffa's disappearance connects to Area 51 operations, mysterious government facilities, and the same deep state apparatus that silences whistleblowers about everything from Bigfoot encounters to alien abductions. We've uncovered evidence that Hoffa wasn't just eliminated—he was eliminated because he stumbled onto classified programs that would blow open every conspiracy you've ever wondered about. From underground bunkers to interdimensional phenomena, from missing time incidents to government mind control experiments, this confession exposes a web of secrecy that makes The X-Files look like a documentary. Mystery enthusiasts and truth-seekers, this is the smoking gun you've been waiting for. The dots connect in ways that will leave you questioning every official story you've ever been told. Reality is far stranger than fiction, and this episode proves that the biggest mysteries of our time are all connected. In this episode of Gangland Wire, host Gary Jenkins interviews Chris Franzblau, author of The Last Mob Lawyer. Franzblau represented Meyer Lansky in his deportation hearing, he represented Genovese labor racketeers like Anthony “Tony Pro” Provenzano and Jerry Catena. He knew Jimmy Hoffa very well. Chris shares his remarkable career as a defense attorney for prominent figures in organized crime, offering a firsthand look at the legal battles that have shaped mob history in his book, The Last Mob Lawyer: True Stories from the Man Who Defended Some of the Biggest Names in Organized Crime. The conversation begins with Franzblau's background—his education at Duke University Law School, service in the Navy's Judge Advocate General's Corps, and training in cryptography. He then details his transition from prosecutor in the U.S. Attorney's Office to private practice, coinciding with the federal government's intensified pursuit of La Cosa Nostra under Attorney General Robert Kennedy. A twist of fate led him to represent high-profile mobsters when established defense attorneys left the scene, catapulting him into the world of organized crime defense. Franzblau shares captivating stories of his legal work with infamous figures like labor leader Jerry Catena and Anthony “Tony Pro” Provenzano. He sheds light on mob influence in unions and high-stakes power struggles, including the bitter feud between Anthony “Tony Pro” Provenzano and Jimmy Hoffa. He also discusses the FBI's controversial surveillance tactics, J. Edgar Hoover's wiretapping strategies, and how landmark legal battles helped expose the government's overreach in investigating organized crime. Adding to the intrigue, Franzblau touches on the mob's connections to Hollywood and celebrities, including Frank Sinatra's complex ties to the underworld. He also offers a compelling story surrounding Jimmy Hoffa's disappearance, hinting at new information that could reshape the narrative. Throughout the episode, Franzblau offers insight into the ethical dilemmas of defending mobsters, debunking the myths that attorneys are complicit in their clients' activities. He also weighs in on the handling of Teamsters' pension funds, contrasting transparency in his experience with the corruption seen in other cities. This episode is a must-listen for true crime enthusiasts, mafia history buffs, and legal minds alike. The Voice Of GO(r)D podcast was recently contacted by a representative of the American Communist Party, seeking more information about trucking and truckers, with a particular focus on truckers in Canada. As this podcast is happy to speak with (almost) anyone, I was happy to hear from someone on the opposite side of the bottom of the horseshoe to myself, and I thus invited Timmy onto the show in what is something of a two way interview - she asking me about trucking, and me asking her many questions about her communist ideological priors.I know many people who follow me might be aghast at the idea of speaking to a ‘Commie' but I think our highly volatile political discourse landscape obscures definitions and forgets that not all stereotypes apply. As I mention to Timmy on the show, when I became a bit more well known for defending the Freedom Convoy, the very first people to seek my input on the reality of the Convoy and its class composition were legitimate working class Marxists, not the obese purple haired maniacs whose brains have been fried by Identity Politics and The Borg™️. It seems like Timmy and her comrades in the American Communist Party, like myself, want nothing to do with that nonsense, and would rather focus on the material improvement of working people, including truckers.Throughout the discussion, we discuss the particularities of wage suppression in trucking, the abuse of migrants by policies pushed by Mega Carriers, as well as indentured servitude programs run by their own co-ethnic gangsters, the history of Jimmy Hoffa and the Teamsters, and much else. I mention this great book about Hoffa in the show, and you ought to read it.Timmy recently appeared on a Twitter space with fellow trucking media Internet Niche Micro Celebrity Timothy Dooner, where they discussed the ACP employing the term ‘MAGA Communism'. A complimentary and interesting discussion, which you can listen to here.As you know, I'm working on a book titled “End Of The Road - Inside The War on Truckers” and you can find out more about that here -https://autonomoustruckers.substack.com/p/book-project-announcement-and-a-majorAs always - questions, comments, suggestions, corrections and Hate Mail are welcomed and strongly encouraged - gordilocks@protonmail.com

Steve Kopesky and Ted Rubinstein on Jimmy Hoffa - part 2YesterdaySteve Kopesky and Ted Rubinstein return with more on the fascinating life of Jimmy Hoffa.Jimmy Hoffa (born February 14, 1913, Brazil, Indiana, U.S.—disappeared July 30, 1975, Bloomfield Hills, near Detroit, Michigan) was an American labour leader who served as president of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters from 1957 to 1971 and was one of the most controversial labour organizers of his time. The son of an Indiana coal miner who died when Hoffa was seven, Hoffa moved with his family to Detroit in 1924. He left school at age 14, worked as a stock boy and warehouseman for several years, and began his union-organizing activities in the 1930s. Initially the business agent for Local 299 in Detroit, Hoffa by 1940 had become chairman of the Central States Drivers Council and by 1942 president of the Michigan Conference of Teamsters. In 1952 he was elected an international vice president of the Teamsters, and five years later he succeeded Dave Beck as international president.Known throughout the trucking industry as a tough and knowledgeable bargainer, Hoffa successfully centralized administration and bargaining in the international office of the union. He also played a key role in the creation of the first national freight-hauling agreement. His efforts helped make the Teamsters the largest labour union in the United States.Known to have long associated with organized crime figures, Hoffa nevertheless survived a series of governmental prosecutions until 1967, when he entered the federal prison in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, to begin a 13-year sentence for jury tampering, fraud, and conspiracy. Hoffa refused to resign as president of the Teamsters while in prison and kept his position until 1971. U.S. Pres. Richard M. Nixon commuted Hoffa's sentence in December 1971, stipulating that he could not engage in any union activity until 1980. Hoffa, however, fought the restriction in court and was widely believed to have covertly continued his efforts to reestablish a union position. On July 30, 1975, he disappeared from a restaurant in suburban Detroit under circumstances that have never been fully determined. He was said to have had an appointment at the restaurant with Anthony Provenzano, a New Jersey Teamsters official and former Mafia figure, and Anthony Giacalone, a Detroit mobster; both later denied having encountered Hoffa, who was never seen again. He was legally declared “presumed dead” in 1982.Tags#hoffa#kennedy#mccarthyhearings#teamsters#truecrine#vanishedBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-opperman-report--1198501/support.

Welcome back to our weekend Cabral HouseCall shows! This is where we answer our community's wellness, weight loss, and anti-aging questions to help people get back on track! Check out today's questions: Darren: Good day to you, your family and team Dr Cabral. I listened to Dr Rhonda Patrick saying Bananas, Beets, Swiss chard, collard greens have an enzyme in them called polyphenol oxidase which degrades Polyphenols in blueberries and other high polyphenol containing foods. She says it's best not to add them to smoothies with blueberries etc. Is this accurate or the drawback is not that bad? Jenn: Hi Dr. Cabral! Ever since I was pregnant with my second baby, I get this metal taste in my mouth. It happened during the first trimester, was happening as much during the 2nd but came back in the 3rd. From what I've researched it based on hormonal changes. But 7 months postpartum I'm still experiencing the metal taste every day - typically at night. I thought this goes away after giving birth. I'm so curious as to why this continues to happen and what I can do about it. Thank you so much!! Vanessa: I have had recurring yeast infections for a year. I have taken a gut test where I collected stool for three days then did the micribiome labs gut support package for six months and cut out most sugar (only in coffee) and went mostly keto/carnivore. Last antibiotic taken three years ago after a surgery. It went well for about four months. Now it's back in my vagina and I get it on two fingers. I have a lot of stress due to a divorce and job (nurse). Please help with a protocol to rid this yeast once and all from my body. Thank you for your time Carol: Hi dr. Cabral. I have something called Hoffa's syndrome in my knees. I was wondering if you had a natural approach to this, my insurance will cover steroid shots, but do not want to go that route. Or liposuction. Thanks for any advice. I appreciate all you do. Teresa: Hi Dr Cabral, can you please talk about hashitoxicosis. I have Hashimotos and my latest thyroid tests showed that my TPOab was really high and my other thyroid levels were hyperactive.
