In this episode of the Multifamily Collective, Katie Ritter and Jake Hughes discuss the impact of branding and resident experience. They've compiled compelling data from over 400,000 Google reviews to examine how property management companies (PMCs) and operators are perceived through resident feedback. Katie and Jake introduce the concept of a "third metric" for measuring brand visibility using keyword searches in reviews, uncovering insights that go beyond traditional methods like organic search volume or aided awareness. We explore how community connection, safety, and even coworking spaces shape tenant loyalty and brand reputation. Are property management companies doing enough to build brand awareness? With only a tiny fraction of reviews mentioning PMCs, Jake and Katie discuss how companies can bridge the gap and boost positive recognition, using examples like loyalty programs and creating meaningful resident experiences. Grab your coffee (or favorite beverage), and join us for a thought-provoking conversation about the intersection of branding, resident engagement, and the future of multifamily. So you mean to tell me that Ryan King only came back on the show because Dan Ticktum got caught speeding at 115mph?! Yes, yes we did! In this episode of Motorsport101, we catch up with more FIA politics as the sport's governing body clarified its stance on political activism during their weekends... and yeah, the Internet flipped out on this one. But was it justified. King helps Dre and Cam explain why it just isn't as simple as saying they're putting the clamps on the drivers. We also talk about Formula E in Hyderabad and it was a classic case of F-E chaos reigning supreme. Jean-Eric Vergne survived a late onslaught from Nick Cassidy despite the latter having nearly 4% more usable energy in a sprint finish. Sam Bird took out himself and his teammate after missing his braking point, and ruined Max Gunther and Sasha Fenestraz's races at the same time. Jake Hughes crashed after his mirror fell off his car and jammed his steering wheel. And Rene Rast altered the title after doing the right thing and avoiding an Oliver Rowland divebomb. Straight over the top of Jake Dennis' Andretti. Jake Struggles is alive and well. A race so crazy, Nico Muller nearly scored points. In a Cupra. Really. I've missed this series. Jake Dennis won by 7 seconds with Porsche's in 1st, 2nd and 4th as Pascal Wehrlein passed some f***ing cars to get to second, and then Andre Lotterer in 4th in the second Andretti. With the pre-season talking hinting about DS Powertrains being at the top, this was an upset! And we gotta give Jake Hughes his flowers for a damn good McLaren debut in the leading group, and Sasha Fenestraz for making the duels at the first time of asking. The Human Movement project has undergone significant sonic development in the past 12 months. From a well-established house project within Sydney’s underground community, Edward Mcdonald has been on an epic roll. His most recent singles have elevated him from tastemaker to a producer reaching grandiose heights. His 2020 single, ‘Waiting’, is an exquisite slice of melancholic breaks described by BBC Radio 1 as ‘Bicep Meets Paul Woolford’, and his upcoming release schedule is swiftly becoming one to keep an eye on. Ahead of his headline show for us on 16 April at Bourke Street Courtyard, we are delighted to host the rising star for an energetic Novelcast. @humanmovement-aus ==================================================== Upcoming Novel events: Novel x Other People Pres. See how you can get involved at kickitout.org. Saints finally did it. There is no substitution for a win, under any circumstances. Do the dirty work off the ball, take your chance, put in the hard yards, and whatever other cliches you’d like to add in, because they add up to 3 points, on the road, at a place, and against a team, that’s been a nightmare for us in recent seasons. Yes, Burnley were far from full-strength, and, no, they aren’t exactly having a nice time, but I don’t care. A goal for Ings, a win for Saints, and some hope that we finally may be starting to play a little bit of the football we saw at the end of last season (that is probably going too far, I know). Joining me on this week’s show is the man behind St. Mary’s Musings and a lot of MMA content as well, Jake Hughes. It was the 129th GP of the hybrid era. 146 since a Ferrari, Mercedes or Red Bull failed to win. 24 YEARS since a French driver topped the podium. On Episode 261, we talk Pierre Gasly, and the Miracle in Monza. F1: No really, Pierre Gasly won. Seriously. We break down how. There was a massive accident at mid-distance as Charles Leclerc oversteers himself into Parabolica wall, drawing a Safety Car and Red Flag as Kevin Magnussen's Haas died right by pit entry, causing the pitlane to be closed, however... Lewis Hamilton and Antonio Giovinazzi box during closed pit lane due to K-Mag failure, both get 10-second stop/go penalties. Pierre Gasly however, beat the clock, gained track position on the restart, Stroll gets a free pitstop under red, and Verstappen retires on engine failure after the restart. Sainz guns down Gasly at the end, falls maybe 1 lap short, Stroll 3rd after poor 2nd start. Hamilton drives mad, goes from 17th to 7th on restart after serving penalty. We mention Sebastian Vettel suffering an early brake failure and Nicolas Latifi finishing 11th in the final race for Williams as we know it (but more on that in 262) In F2, we all got dewey-eyed as a Schumacher won in a big red car at Monza. Aww. He took the feature race win after a dream start going from 6th to 2nd in one corner! He would take the W over Luca Ghiotto and Christian Lundgaard after Callum Illot stalled it in the pits. As for the sprint race, Dan Ticktum dominated in hilarious fashion, needing the medical car to get back to pit lane... but his car didn't have enough fuel for a sample so he was chucked out via DQ. So Callum Illot won instead ahead of Lundgaard and Mick! And in F3, Frederick Vesti won Race 1 ahead of Frederick Vesti wins Race 1 ahead of Theo Pourchaire and Oscar Piastri goes from 15th to 3rd, Logan Sargeant DNF’s after being spun off, Prema taking the team title back to "Titletown". In Race 2, Jake Hughes scores a win as Liam Lawson got given a late time penalty promoting Smolyar to his first F3 podium!

A lot of bad things we never imagined could happen actually happened. Liverpool won the league, we got beat 0-9 at home (in case you missed it) we’re in the middle of a world-wide pandemic, there are continued instances of racial injustice all around, and Total Saints Podcast called it quits. But, there are some positive signs as well. Saints had their best finish to a season in several years, the club look to be addressing issues in the squad already, Bournemouth are relegated, we beat them, P*mpey, and Brighton in their own backyards, took 18 points from the promoted teams over the course of the season and we have RALPH HASENHUTTL as our manager.    To help recap the Sheffield match and discuss the season I’m joined by Jake Hughes of St. Mary’s Musings. It’s always great to chat with Jake, even if he doesn’t like Oriol Romeu as much as some of us do. Pat, Jack and Jake briefly recap the game before moving on to review Southampton's entire 2019/20 campaign. A stonking win over Pompey, more ups and downs than a Thorpe Park rollercoaster, and of course THAT October defeat at St Mary's. This season had it all, and that's not even mentioning the small matter of a worldwide pandemic postponing the entire sport of football for three months starting in March. On the agenda > best moments, worst moments, standout players (not named Danny Ings), aims for next season, prospective transfers, what to expect from OWTS over the summer, and much more. In case my brother downloads or see's this, Happy Birthday. I love you.   Support The Ugly Inside's Movember Campaign at mobro.co/theuglyinside Saints’ schedule this past week is exactly what Halloween Nightmares are made of. Two trips to the defending champions in less than a week just after a 0-9 thrashing at the hands of the Leicester City. Seems like Saints were in for a beatdown of epic proportions. The midweek match came and went, with City moving on in a match that left much to be desired on most accounts. Saturday, however, was a different story. Solid, resilient, and efficient with their shots, Saints held City scoreless for 70 minutes. With Pep absolutely fuming to the point he was running sprints and warming up on the sidelines, City broke through to go level and eventually found a winner from Kyle Walker. Heartbreak for Saints, but there are a lot of different things we can (and do) say about the week. Joining me to do that are Jake Hughes (@JJHughes_) and Allen “I swear I’m not related to Angus” Gunn (@a_gunzy) from St. Mary’s Musings (@stmarysmusings). We talk shop, Saints, have a laugh and answer a couple of questions. If it’s possible, I’m perhaps too comfortable chatting with them, but oh well. The 2019/2020 season is almost here. Saints have had their first pre-season under Ralph Hasenhuttl, they’ve brought in a few attacking options, they’ve looked, for the most part, good during pre-season. But, at the time of recording (July 29, 30, and August 1), there were no additions in defense, which is something several of this week’s guests key in on.   For this episode, I’m joined by 4 guests, Lucy Highnett, Jake Hughes, Bob Brown, and Luke Osman. We run through a range of questions from the assessment of pre-season and the transfer window to predictions for a number of categories for the coming season. Be sure to give this week’s guests a follow and give their various projects a follow and/or listen when you get the chance. Also, let us know what you think of the episode and what your predictions are for the coming season.  Lucy Highnett- @lucyhighnett is the newest member of the @totalsaintspod. I almost promise. Check it out here.* Jake Hughes is a lot of fun to talk to. He is super honest, informed, hilarious, and this week we went deep. Jake and I spent the better part of two hours on Skype catching up on life, Saints, safety, writing and podcasting, home ownership, parenthood and more. We discuss Jake’s MMA freelance writing, as well as his Saints’ website St. Mary’s Musings, which you can also follow on Twitter at @StMarysMusings. If you’d like to follow Jake himself, he’s @JJHughes_. As I said previously, he’s fantastic, the site is fantastic, and you should definitely follow along if you are not already.
