Niels zijn Switch is van een kastje gevallen en de linker Joycon van Michael is terug van reparatie, er kan weer naar hartelust geswitcht worden! 00:04:49 - Game Talk Volgens Steef is Snipperclips (5:20) de perfecte simulatie om te zien of je met iemand kan samenwerken, ook is hij nog steeds in de greep van Fire Emblem Heroes (10:00) en stortte zich vol op de nieuwe meta, en uiteraard is hij ook verder gegaan met The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild (21:47). New Business is a largely two-man affair following a brief Monster Hunter Generations update from Stephen. Donald spent the ideal amount for Skylanders SuperChargers but may have been screwed by his choice of platform, but he's OK with it since he got a hold of the consensus 2016 Game of the Year. Yes, Metroid Prime Federation Force is out and Donald brings the praise in his usual understated fashion. Since Austen never asked for this, he's playing a recent Deus Ex game... in Deus Ex Go. Following an update on his progress in a console version (Human Revolution), he finishes with PS4 indie game Valley. Despite comparisons to Metroid Prime (the original), it might actually be good. Whatcha Watchin' has Stephen exploring the life of Sinbad in Magi: Sinbad, before Donald talks commercial tie-ins again with Persona 5: Daybreakers. Thankfully, this OVA doesn't spoil. As a follow-up from last episode, Austen tuned into some animated busting in The Real Ghostbusters and Extreme Ghostbusters, as well as a cautionary tale on executive meddling. It's a five man crew this week as Gary returns to the podcast. First, we've got what is now our weekly Overwatch update. Gary, Brian, and Justin both find something amiss when playing with a certain friend online. But they have a strategy on how to deal with it. Well, three of them do. Also, there's some commentary on who should be buffed and who should actually be nurfed. Interesting stuff. We then return to Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. It turns out the game is pretty good. Following that is the Fallout 4 DLC, in what is hopefully the last discussion about it for awhile (unlikely). Gary makes sure to talk about the Battlefield 1 demo, because it turns out him and Brian don't exactly see eye to eye on it. In a bit of a surprise, four us managed to attend the Boston Festival of Indie Games over at MIT in Cambridge. It's a small local indie game event that consisted of about 30 or so indie developers and table top board game designers and creators. It was a nice showcase, and we talk about some of the games that we saw there, so especially take a listen to that. In the Drunken News, we hammer away at the big news about the PS4 this week, along with Nintendo showing up at the Apple event, and of course, some early numbers from Metroid Prime: Federation Force.
