Anna & The Apocalypse is a hybrid Christmas/zombie/musical/comedy film released in 2017, directed by John McPhail, and the final screenplay posthumously released by Ryan McHenry. Set in a small town in Scotland, it follows several impending graduating students who find themselves embroiled in an unfolding zombie apocalypse on the cusp of Christmas break. The titular Anna finds herself at an emotional crossroads in her life as the events of zombie infestation unfurl around her and her friends. Heavily featuring themes of emotional growth and smalltown languishing, the film starred Ella Hunt in the titular role, as well as Mark Benton, Paul Kaye, Marli Siu, and various others, with a soundtrack provided by Scottish songwriters Roddy Hart and Tommy Reilly. On a new episode of Hell Is A Musical, Lilz and Scott welcome HIAM all-star Christopher Brown back to the guest chair as they discuss zombie tropes, UK confections, and Lilz misses her goddamn cue on a recurring bit. (She had one freaking job.)...with Lilz and Scott!

Hey folks, just a few audio issues in this one (we record two episodes at once-- did you know this? It's a very well-kept secret) but all future episodes should be good to go. 437 episodes in, a mic cable gets worn out, ya see? In this week's episode, we're discussing the 2022 religious horror film "The Offering" in which we try to be as respectful as we can about other folks' cultures while being devoutly anti-religion ourselves and also, pretty curious as to how much Yiddish one can adopt into their day-to-day. Other topics for your consideration include: unacceptable ways to sleep, that guy I like from British crime dramas, what all GenX-ers and Millenials really want, what happens when a film veers towards the Wan-iverse but rights the ship with a goddamn goatman, and perhaps the perfect end to an episode. Interested in Jewish horror? You might enjoy Episode 327- "The Vigil." Interested in that guy I like from British crime dramas? I'm back with another review, this time of the 'West Walian Western' The Toll. On the Pembrokeshire border, a man (Smiley) working solo shifts in the quietest toll booth in Wales, hides from a criminal past where nobody would ever look. As his past actions catch up with him and his peace is shattered, he enlists the help of local ne'er-do-wells and oddballs, including a female Elvis impersonator, rampaging triplets and disgruntled sheep farmers, while village police officer Catrin (Elwy) grows increasingly suspicious… With an all-star cast of British talent, The Toll is a deliciously dark journey into the wild west of Wales from debut director Ryan Andrew Hooper. The Toll stars Michael Smiley, Iwan Rheon, Paul Kaye, Annes Elwy, Steve Oram (Sightseers) and Julian Glover (The Empire Strikes Back, For Your Eyes Only).

It's directed by John McPhail and it stars Ella Hunt, Malcolm Cumming, Christopher Leveaux, Marli Siu, Mark Benton, Paul Kaye, and the podcast's new girlfriend Sarah Swire and new boyfriend Ben Wiggins. This movie has us co-sleeping in ballpits, fantasizing about power throuples, and examining the effects of toxic masculinity on how we deal with apocalypses and friendships. We also talk extensively about Sarah Swire's portrayal of Steph North and how rare it is to have a non-sexualized queer woman with social anxiety, a warm winter wardrobe, and a hatchback in a horror movie, despite the fact that that describes a quarter of our friend group. We are Soldiers at War for this movie and Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now.Recommendations:Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along BlogFeed by Mira GrantCobra KaiPaper GirlsFollow us on twitter @proghorrorpodFollow Jeremy on twitter @jrome58Follow Chris on twitter @themythofpsycheFollow Ben on twitter @benthekahnChris's other Podcast "Gotham Outsiders: A Batman Book Club Podcast"RSS Feed: https://feeds.transistor.fm/progressively-horrifiedWebsite: https://progressivelyhorrified.transistor.fm/Keep an eye out for our Patreon, with all sorts of bonuses, coming soon!★ Support this podcast on Patreon ★

We talk about the many benefits of using trampolines for therapy across all spectrum of special needs and he explains the Rebound Therapy program along with some fun stories and what he has learned working with both young children and adults alike. The phrase 'Rebound Therapy' was coined by the founder, Eddy Anderson in 1969 to describe the use of trampolines in providing opportunities for movement, therapeutic exercise and recreation for people across the whole spectrum of special needs. The program uses trampolines to provide therapeutic exercises to people with a wide variety of disabilities and additional needs. The therapy involves using the moving bed of the trampoline to promote movement in the participant. By carrying out basic through to highly technical physiotherapy techniques on the trampoline, the therapy can provide many therapeutic and physiological benefits: Facilitate and promote movement and balance, Improve fitness, Increase or decrease muscle tone, Help relax the participant, Improve sensory integration, Improve concentration and even improve communication skills. PAUL KAYE is from Bolton in the UK. He studied for a year in France - his first pure language immersion experience. After University, Paul completed TEFL training with the idea of teaching English in Hungary but instead he ended up in Slovakia for three and a half years as a teacher, broadcaster and journalist. This was a seminal part in his life and set the stage for the many work, life and travel experiences that followed. Paul now works as a translator for the EU. He was seconded to the UK in 2014 to facilitate initiatives to promote language learning in the UK. This secondment ended in early 2020. He would normally have returned to Brussels but there was nothing normal about 2020 so he is currently working remotely from London. Paul has many interests, many of which have intersected with his working career over the years. These include cross-country skiing, cycling a number of Eastern Europe country borders, photography and documentary writing (he has published three books - see links below), travel, language learning, and a follower of both cricket and football. Paul's biggest claim to fame to date was acting as interpreter for Sir Alex Ferguson when Manchester United played Slovakia in the 1990's. This is Paul's inspiring story and thoughts on London, the world and life. Paul Kaye is the VP of Music Brands and In House Production at Rogers. When he was hired in July of 2017, it was mentioned that his position is an evolving one. True to that statement - his position remains as fluid as ever given the accelerating change for the medium and for the content creators who work in it. The last time we had Paul on the show, it was December 2016 and he was fulfilling a role at Newcap Radio. We haven't felt the need to have him back because the episode was very evergreen and stood the test of time resiliently. However, with the pandemic - it is time for a catch up.In this episode, we spoke about the differences between "Big Bits" and "Conversational". (Spoiler: The former is passe) We also debunked some of the truths and myths surrounding live and local, and how the pandemic will result in better radio content quality, even if the economic indictors do not reflect that right now. We also talked about the future of morning radio citing two recent changes in the Winnipeg market with the bringing Brock and Dalby to afternoons on 92.1 CITI, and transplanting Roz and Mocha into the morning show on 102.3 Kiss FM. Both are glimpses into the future for radio talent... and yes they should be excited about the possibilities. And yes we did discuss what he looks for in demo. I'll even let you cut right to that part but you really shouldn't because there is so much other great stuff you'll likely need to know from the episode before you send him an mp3 or .mov of your work.[13:40] What goes into a great demoThere's more about this episode on our show page! Thanks also to the people who make this show possible every week.PromosuiteMatt Fogarty VoiceoversJustin Dove at Core Image StudiosMegatrax

Paul Kaye is the National Talent Coach for Rogers Radio. He held a similar role at Newcap in Calgary (Amp 90.3) and Vancouver (Z95.3) before heading to Toronto to join Rogers owned Kiss 92.5. His blog posts are widely shared and refreshing in a era where what constitutes great content is frequently contested. What's really encouraging is that the positions involving "talent" and "coaching" are (re)appearing in companies across North America. Also - "There's a podcast for that!", 2016 is the year of the retiring sports announcer, and the benefits of putting your work up on Soundcloud. You never know who will hear it. This Media Network is concerned with closedowns rather than sign-ons as we delve back into the archives for a special documentary on offshore radio. Jonathan Marks, Diana Janssen, plus a host of other stars will be tracing one of the most important stages in the development of European Radio. We now present, “30 years in 30 minutes”.  That's the voice of the late Paul Kaye, who 30 years ago today made the very last announcement on Radio London, or Big L. Radio London was the most successful of the radio stations which operated from ships and old army forts off the British coast between 1964 and 1967, and which had a major influence on the development of broadcasting in this part of Europe.  A company called East Anglian Productions obtained a so-called Restricted Service Licence, which allowed them to operate the station for one month on mediumwave 1134kHz, using very low power - officially just one watt. Back in the 60's, the original station operated with much higher power and covering a large part of the UK as well as the Benelux countries. To explain how it came to be on the air, we need to go back to Easter 1964.

Along with the transformation to a patient-centered medical home came an acceptance of a model that coordinates care for an entire population, not just the patients showing up each day, notes Dr. Paul Kaye, medical director at Taconic IPA. And even though the 238 Taconic physicians at 11 sites have received Level III PPC(R)-PCMH(TM) recognition from the NCQA, Susan Stuard, executive director of THINC, explains that practice transformation doesn't stop there. Dr. Kaye and Ms. Stuard described how the sharing of data across its organization is improving physician performance and value-based reimbursement levels during "Improving Physician Performance and Value-Based Reimbursement Levels Through Meaningful Data Sharing," a 45-minute webinar on June 23, 2010.
