John Tippins is the founder and CEO of Northcap, a real estate firm deeply woven into the transformation of downtown Las Vegas. With nearly two decades of experience and over $2 billion in completed transactions, John has become more than a broker—he's a steward of shaping the City of Las Vegas. In this episode, we follow his rise from humble beginnings to real estate trailblazer, the mentors who shaped his mindset, and how a single lunch meeting turned into $700 million in business. John's story is one of grit, relationships, vision—and a relentless commitment to being of service.
We're now up to $339 billion in cost savings since the passage of the OBBBA.

In this episode of The Missing Secret Podcast, John and Kelly talk about the power of using questions to influence people. Kelly has built her business career around asking great questions. It plays out throughout her life. John talks about using questions to influence people regarding embracing think it be it. As an example, sometimes he will ask a person how do you create success in your life. That's a question they probably haven't been asked before. And so after a minute or two of stumbling around looking for the right answer, it becomes apparent to both John and the person that they don't really have a way of creating success in their life. Then John asks the killer second question. How's that working for you? John then politely and respectfully gives them the answer. It's not working out as well as you would like because you're just winging life. You don't actually have a way of doing life. When someone asked John how he creates success, he has a pretty clear answer. Your daily actions determine your success in each area of your life. 95% of your daily actions are unconscious. Therefore I gain control over my unconscious daily actions by feeding the succinct articulation of my life to myself each day. That rewires my autopilot. And causes the right actions happen automatically without thinking. And I have a powerful force pulling myself forward to my desired life. John gives another example. Oftentimes he will say that the most significant thing he ever learned in his life is that 95% of a person's daily actions are unconscious. And so he will ask the question to someone as to whether they believe that or not. More often than not, they say they do believe it.Then the second killer question. So what are you doing about that? Do you see the profound implications of that? The Takeaway is using questions are profound. In the last half of the episode John and Kelly talk about this idea of deep thinking two times a week. A powerful technique that is part of the think it be it methodology. It's a three-step process. The first step is just sit down and write in your thinking tablet anything that comes up for the first 10 minutes or so. Then the second step. Figure out a question to ask yourself. Usually regarding what your biggest challenge at the moment is. Then the third step is to recap what you learned and defined the action steps. John and Kelly discuss in the think it be it methodology this ongoing dance between the conscious mind and the subconscious mind. The deep thinking technique two times a week is influencing the conscious mind. Then the daily reading of one's visualization is impacting the subconscious mind. Buy John's book, THE MISSING SECRET of the Legendary Book Think and Grow Rich : And a 12-minute-a-day technique to apply it here.About the Hosts:John MitchellJohn's story is pretty amazing. After spending 20 years as an entrepreneur, John was 50 years old but wasn't as successful as he thought he should be. To rectify that, he decided to find the “top book in the world” on SUCCESS and apply that book literally Word for Word to his life. That Book is Think & Grow Rich. The book says there's a SECRET for success, but the author only gives you half the secret. John figured out the full secret and a 12 minute a day technique to apply it.When John applied his 12 minute a day technique to his life, he saw his yearly income go to over $5 million a year, after 20 years of $200k - 300k per year. The 25 times increase happened because John LEVERAGED himself by applying science to his life. His daily technique works because it focuses you ONLY on what moves the needle, triples your discipline, and consistently generates new business ideas every week. This happens because of 3 key...
Welcome back to the Identity Theft Resource Center's (ITRC) Weekly Breach Breakdown, supported by Sentilink. I'm James E. Lee, the ITRC's President, and this is the episode for July 18, 2025. Each week, we take a look at the latest news and trends related to data security and privacy. This week, the ITRC released our H1 2025 Data Breach Analysis that looks at what happened in the first six months of 2025 when it comes to U.S. data compromises. Let's talk about the trends, but first, some housekeeping with some numbers: A total of 1,732 data compromises were reported in the first half of 2025, resulting in a little more than 165.7 million breach notices. That's about five percent ahead of where we were at this time last year in terms of compromises. It's also more reported compromises than at the halfway point in 2023, when we set the current high-water mark for data compromises. Welcome back to The Robyn Ivy Podcast! In this week's solo episode, I'm sharing the one pattern I see holding so many of us back — and it's probably not what you think. I talk about the hidden “rackets” and self-sabotaging beliefs we carry, the ones that quietly run the show under the surface. These old stories — about needing to prove ourselves, be perfect, stay safe, or earn our worth — keep us stuck solving the wrong problems, over and over again. Like Sisyphus rolling that boulder uphill, we find ourselves exhausted, wondering why nothing ever really changes. I also share some highlights from my recent Kids Are Away retreat (including a magical sound bath with Karen Powers), the power of spontaneous healing, and what's coming up in Flow and my live weekly coaching sessions. If you've been craving real tools, real talk, and a real shift — this one's for you. 3 Takeaways from this Episode

Growing In God Podcast Title: Pray From Fulfillment Web Description: If someone gives you a plate of delicious food, do you still pray, “God, give me food! Where is the food You promised me?” No, you just take it and say, “Thank you.” Yet even though God has already given us everything, we pray as if we have not received it. We need to change that way of praying. We need to shift our focus from this realm and dwell in the spirit realm where God's Word is already fulfilled and then pray from that place. Show Notes: When you pray, are you asking as someone who is separated from the fulfillment of your prayer? Are you asking God to bring a fulfillment that you are convinced you do not have? Yeshua (Jesus) said, “All things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them.” If we have already received the answer to our prayers, then there is a way to pray from a place of fulfillment rather than from a place of looking for fulfillment. Our minds have trouble grasping this concept, but it is simply a matter of changing our perception. We can decide where we want our awareness to be. The Scriptures tell us that God has transferred us out of the realm of darkness into the Kingdom of His beloved Son. Therefore, our minds do not need to be controlled by our awareness of the physical realm. We can focus our awareness on His Kingdom. We can walk in the Spirit. Our dwelling place can be the spirit world where all things are finished and all things are possible. Our minds can be controlled by a new awareness of what God has already accomplished by His Word. How do we get this awareness when we are so conditioned by what our senses tell us about the physical realm? We can go the Word of God. He has already told us what is in His Kingdom, and we just need to start relating to it. Let us start thinking God's thoughts that are conformed to His Word rather than our thoughts that are conformed to this world. Let us be transformed by the renewing of our minds so that when we pray, we are not asking God to do something in the future; rather, we are thanking Him for what He said is already done. Key Verses: • Colossians 1:13–14. “He… transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son.” • John 14:2. “In My Father's house are many dwelling places.” • Revelation 12:7–9. “Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was thrown down to the earth.” • Acts 8:37–40. “The Spirit of the Lord snatched Philip away; and … Philip found himself at Azotus.” • 1 Corinthians 3:18–23. “Things present or things to come; all things belong to you.” • John 14:23. “My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our abode with him.” • Mark 11:24. “All things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them.” • 2 Corinthians 12:2–5. “Such a man was caught up to the third heaven.” • Jeremiah 32:37–42. “I am going to bring on them all the good that I am promising them.” • 2 Peter 1:3. “His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness.” • Psalm 23:5. “You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.” • Romans 12:2. “Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” • 2 Corinthians 10:5. “We are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ.” • Isaiah 55:8. “My thoughts are not your thoughts.” Quotes: • “Prophets like Elijah and Elisha and others obviously knew how to move in the spirit so that things resulted from that. That has always been my understanding of what we in this day and age, as God's people, as moving as prophets, are to be able to do—manifest the reality of what the Scriptures are saying.” • “If you would turn off every physical sense that you have, you would still be aware; you just wouldn't be aware of the material world. But your awareness wouldn't go away because our awareness exists as part of our life. And that awareness can be focused where we want it.” • “It was finished in Genesis when He created it, and He finished all His work. He finished all His work, and He sat down and rested and told us to rest. Well, how do we rest? We rest when we can sit down in those finished works.” Takeaways: 1. When we pray, we need to position ourselves in the fulfillment of the Word of God instead of praying for it to happen in the future. Simply take what God has spoken and realize that if it is a Word from God, then it is not something that will be; it is something that already is. 2. Our awareness is our own, and we choose what we want to be aware of. Spiritual awareness is something we have in the Holy Spirit, and the Scriptures tell us it is absolutely possible to be in a realm other than the physical realm that we normally focus on. We can dwell in a spiritual realm where the works of God are finished and His Word is already fulfilled. 3. The prophecies of Scripture are ours now, and we do not have to put their fulfillment off in the future. So we need to put ourselves and everything we are praying for in that realm where everything God promised in His Word already exists.

Ever wonder what happens when people with zero medical training start buying up hospitals and clinics? This week, we're joined by journalist Megan Greenwell, who's spent years investigating the chilling spread of private equity in healthcare. We talk about what it means when medicine becomes a business, the moments that made her jaw drop during reporting, and why she thinks doctors and patients are both trapped in a system that no longer works for either of them. This one hits hard. Takeaways: How private equity is quietly reshaping American healthcare. What it's like to investigate medicine from the outside.
