Dope Sh*t My Therapist Says is a therapeutic wellness and lifestyle podcast providing relatable conversations that encourage our listeners to strive for self growth, self reflection, and self love.
The Dope Sh*t My Therapist Says podcast is an absolute gem in the world of mental health and wellness podcasts. From the very first episode, I was hooked and have since binged many of their episodes. Lauren and Ryanne, the hosts of the show, create a comfortable and relatable space for listeners to dive into important topics while also feeling like they're chatting with a friend. They tackle heavy subjects with ease and provide educational content that is both insightful and practical.
One of the best aspects of this podcast is the diversity in their guests. It's refreshing to hear from so many different people who share their experiences with mental health and what has helped them along their journey. This variety allows for a broader perspective on the topic and normalizes mental health discussions, which is incredibly important in breaking down stigmas. The hosts' choice of guests keeps the content fresh, cutting-edge, and always thought-provoking.
Being a fellow therapist myself, I truly appreciate how Dope Sh*t My Therapist Says provides a space for creativity, curiosity, and openness when discussing overall mental wellness. Lauren and Ryanne bring unique points of view to each topic they cover, making it engaging for both professionals in the field and those who are simply interested in learning more about their own mental well-being. The podcast leaves you with little nuggets of wisdom that you can apply to your everyday life, making it not only informative but also practical.
While it's hard to find any major faults with this podcast, one minor aspect that could be improved upon is consistency in releasing new episodes. As someone who eagerly awaits each new release, there have been moments where I've wished for more regular updates. However, given that Lauren and Ryanne are therapists themselves and also have other commitments, I understand that time constraints may play a role in this aspect.
In conclusion, Dope Sh*t My Therapist Says is an exceptional podcast that I am grateful to have found. The hosts have created a safe space to discuss real-life issues and tackle topics that we often shy away from. Their professionalism, honesty, and relatability make for an engaging listening experience that leaves you feeling understood and supported. This podcast has been a light during some dark times and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for informative and empowering content related to mental health and wellness.
