Today, let's discuss the impact of social media, especially on our youth during the COVID-19 pandemic. Cyberbullying, misinformation, and dangerous influences are prevalent, and harmful content impacts our children's well-being. Parents must monitor their children's online activities. Teachers face challenges too, with bullying and misinformation affecting their work. As parents, educators, and influencers, we must take responsibility and create a safe and positive online environment for our youth. Arizona-Phoenix native Perry Czopp traveled to Costa Rica to compete with the coffee he had come to know in its birthplace. It turned out that he fell in love not only with coffee, but also with the region, the people within the community and subsequently also with his future wife, Marianela. You can learn about what preceded the establishment of their joint export company Selva Coffee, what the coffee exporter is dealing with, taking care of the connection between the farmer and the roaster, about the fact that Perry is convinced that the next step in coffee processing will be the focus of farmers on dry milling in the new podcast. "Sorry for the sound, the microphone went out of service. Podcasts recorded in a studio are safe because a professional studio takes care of them, but I got away with it here. Perhaps the information load will outweigh the distracting sound. Thank you for your understanding, Jarda.” Sdílejte náš podcast na sociálních sítích, označte Candycane coffee, nebo nám napište recenzi na apple podcast app a my v příštím díle vylosujeme jednoho šťastlivce a tomu darujeme kávu nebo něco z našeho merche dle preferencí. In recent years, smartphones, tablets and social media have allowed missionaries and members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to reach “unto the uttermost parts of the earth.” (D&C 58:64). Even in the midst of a global pandemic, the restored gospel of Jesus Christ spans “every nation, kindred, tongue, and people.” (Alma 37:4) This episode of the Church News podcast features Elder Brent H. Nielson of the Presidency of the Seventy. Beginning in 2014, Elder Nielson was assigned to assist with the Church's missionary efforts, serving as the executive director of the Missionary Department from 2015 to 2020. Elder Nielson recalls the miracles he has observed as the Church began to transition from traditional missionary efforts to using technology to reach millions more people. Also featured in this podcast is Scott Taylor of the Church News staff, the former president of the Arizona Phoenix mission, who implemented some of these early changes in that mission. The Church News Podcast is a weekly podcast that invites listeners to make a journey of connection with members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints across the globe. Host Sarah Jane Weaver, reporter and editor for The Church News for a quarter-century, shares a unique view of the stories, events, and most important people who form this international faith. With each episode, listeners are asked to embark on a journey to learn from one another and ponder, “What do I know now?” because of the experience. Produced by KellieAnn Halvorsen. Homelessness in Arizona is something most of us see on the streets of our cities and communities everyday. Yes we see it, but very few of us actually understand it. Who are the homeless?Everybody has a story. How do they end up on the street? Is the challenge getting better or worse? What resources and services do we have available in the City of Phoenix to assist?Should you personally play a role in assisting the less fortunate while keeping your streets safe and clean? What is that role and what are some ways you can assist in an empathetic and compassionate way? Most importantly, IS THERE HOPE?This week Amy Schwabenlender, Executive Director at the Human Services Campus (a robust campus with almost 2 dozen services and 15 partners to assist the homeless in getting back on their feet) in downtown Phoenix joins the show to answer these questions and to give us optimism that homelessness can be defeated here in Arizona with a little focus and attention from all of us.Important Links discussed during the PodcastWebsite: https://hsc-az.org/Make a donation: https://hsc-az.org/donate/Downloadable "You Matter" Card: https://hsc-az.org/you-matter/It's time to Podcast!

Legislative: Hearing on Save Oak Flat Act Subcommittee for Indigenous Peoples of the United StatesDate: Tuesday, April 13, 2021 Time: 01:00 PM Presiding: The Honorable Teresa Leger Fernández, Chair On Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. (EDT), the Subcommittee for Indigenous Peoples of the United States (SCIP) will host a virtual, fully remote legislative hearing on the following tribal-related legislation: H.R. 1884 (Rep. Raúl Grijalva), To repeal section 3003 of the Carl Levin and Howard P. "Buck" McKeon National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2015, and for other purposes. Oak Flat, or Chi'chil Bildagoteel, is of significant cultural importance and considered sacred by many tribal communities in Arizona, including the San Carlos Apache Tribe, which has resisted a years-long effort by Resolution Copper – owned by international mining conglomerates BHP and Rio Tinto – to mine the region. The issue was recently featured on The Today Show and has received intensive news coverage in recent weeks. On March 1, the Biden administration withdrew an environmental impact statement, published in the waning hours of the Trump administration, that would have finalized a land swap between Tonto National Forest and Resolution Copper, after which the mine would have moved forward. The San Carlos Apache and many other tribes across the country strongly support Grijalva's bill. Maricopa County in Arizona (Phoenix and suburban areas) has a greater population than 25 states and is the fastest growing county in the nation. So, the lesser known political offices in the county, have a larger than expected impact on the populations they serve. In this episode, we give some exposure to two offices and the experienced and innovative Democrats running to serve Maricopa County residents. One office is the Maricopa County Assessor. The assessor applies an evaluation to all properties -- private, commercial, non-profit and public for the purpose of taxation. Aaron Conner has over 26 years experience in the IT and mortgage industry where he dealt with property appraisers and assessors for decades. Aaron will bring his technology experience to upgrade an office lacking in customers service advancements. The other is Maricopa County Superintendent of Schools. That office is charged with replacing district school board vacancies, handling administrative functions for smaller school districts and running schools for foster-home and homeless children, and another for juveniles in the justice system. Jeanne Casteen, a mother with school-age children, a Master's degree in education and decades of teaching experience is running for that office. Casteen was motivated to run for this office to achieve funding, teacher retention and administrative goals outside the walls of her classrooms. The success of each of these down-ballot candidates will be essential in establishing a Blue voter base in the upcoming elections for other county, legislative, state-wide, Congressional and Presidential races in Arizona. Please subscribe to and like Turning Arizona Blue where you get podcasts; leave a review at our Facebook page Turning Arizona Blue; follow us on Twitter @TurningAZ; and email us at turningazblue@gmail.com. One can't help but wonder if the President understands that getting through this pandemic will not be a quick sprint. On Thursday, the Trump Administration announced guidelines for states to begin reopening the economy, with a goal to begin by May 1. On Friday, the President personally encouraged protesters in Michigan, Minnesota, and Virginia, to "liberate" their states from onerous social-distancing guidelines imposed by their Democratic governors. On Saturday, protesters from other states joined the fray. Social distancing seems to be flattening the curve but we haven’t yet turned a corner. The U.S. averaged 30,000 new cases of Covid-19 during the five days leading up to Friday, April 17. Yet, there’s a good chance the Trump Administration will encourage a partial reopening before we’ve significantly increased testing or set up the infrastructure needed to trace the contacts of the infected.

Which city taught me integrity and also put me on the correct path to become a hypnotherapist? Also I answer these questions: What is the best city to show you that you are and deserve real love? What city is guaranteed to ruin your life and break up your marriage? What city might be a portal directly to hell itself? What city will force you to stay while simultaneously pummeling you if you do not belong to Her? Why are Karmic Cities necessary at times and are they worth it? What can they teach you?
