In this episode of The Russell Brunson Show, I take you inside my collection to talk about one of the most influential men in history… Andrew Carnegie. At one time, he was the richest man in the world, and his ideas shaped generations of entrepreneurs and thinkers, including Napoleon Hill. I share some rare books and artifacts from Carnegie, including a signed copy of Around the World and a first edition of The Gospel of Wealth. But more importantly, I unpack the lessons from The Gospel of Wealth, an essay that had the biggest impact on me from Carnegie's work. He believed that dying rich was a disgrace, and that wealth should be used to build opportunities for others, not just handed down. I contrast his philosophy with Ayn Rand's views, and talk about how those ideas play out in business today, especially when it comes to philanthropy, profits, and building something that lasts. Key Highlights: How Andrew Carnegie influenced Napoleon Hill and Think and Grow Rich The core message of The Gospel of Wealth and why it matters today How I realized Ayn Rand's philosophy and Carnegie's approach to giving were actually similar and not contradicting each other Why charity tied to strong offers works better than guilt-driven giving Lessons from Carnegie, Rockefeller, and Vanderbilt on building generational wealth By the end, you'll see why Carnegie's vision for wealth still applies to entrepreneurs today, and how you can use these lessons in your own business and life. And if you want my notes from this essay, you can find them below! http://russellbrunson.com/notes https://sellingonline.com/podcast https://clickfunnels.com/podcast Learn more about your ad choices. Justin Timberlake BioSnap a weekly updated Biography.Justin Timberlake's week has been marked by a notable blend of headline news, candid personal revelations, and high-profile business moves. Just days ago, Electric Castle festival organizers in Romania announced Timberlake as the 2025 headliner, confirming his first-ever performance in the country this July at Banffy Castle near Cluj-Napoca. According to Romania Insider, Timberlake will present a career-spanning set including favorites and selections from his latest album Everything I Thought It Was, emphasizing his continued global popularity and versatile catalogue. On the business front, The Tennessean reports Timberlake's venture as co-developer for an expansive golf project in Nashville. His luxury golf company, The Farm Nashville, just closed a $7.5 million deal, bringing their land holdings to 475 acres. The new Bounty Club golf course, launching later this year, asserts Timberlake's growing profile as an investor and tastemaker in exclusive leisure experiences. Nashville's surge in golf demand underscores how this investment could yield long-term significance for his portfolio. He also maintains stakes in the Twelve Thirty Club with Sam Fox and the Nexus Club New York, co-owned with Tiger Woods, pointing to his enduring commitment to upscale hospitality and wellness spaces. However, Timberlake's personal life has also made waves in recent news. Us Weekly and iHeart report he and wife Jessica Biel are adjusting to a “new normal” as Timberlake navigates his Lyme disease diagnosis, first disclosed earlier in the year. The couple, along with their children Silas and Phineas, are relying on family support and Biel's steadfast presence to manage the singer's health challenges. Timberlake gave fans a glimpse of his post-tour life following the conclusion of his Forget Tomorrow World Tour in July, emphasizing a gentler pace and resilience despite what he's described as “relentlessly debilitating” symptoms. On social media, Timberlake remains in the spotlight for both his enduring hits and recent work. Clips of “SexyBack” and conversations around tracks like “Selfish” and “Technicolor” continue circulating on platforms like YouTube and Threads, highlighting the sustained relevance of his artistry amid current events.Adding a dash of celebrity intrigue, The Richest spotlights Timberlake and Biel's former New York City home on the market for $40 million, inviting fans a rare look into their ultra-luxe living. In sum, Timberlake's week demonstrates his continued evolution—grappling with health, expanding his business empire, and celebrating fresh milestones on the world stage, all while sustaining his connection with fans and family.Get the best deals https://amzn.to/3ODvOtaThis content was created in partnership and with the help of Artificial Intelligence AI

Is the US drifting into Peronism? We trace the playbook, tariffs and import substitution, national champions, censorship-by-intimidation, and a war on independent institutions, and map it onto Trump's America: sacking a Fed governor, menacing J-Powell, firing the head of the Bureau of Labor Statistics, deploying the National Guard, and the Treasury taking a slice of Intel. Along the way, we tell the family story that makes the point better than any chart: two Italian brothers leave Lombardy in 1950, one goes to Argentina (then the world's 7th-richest country), the other to the US. Eighty years later, identical genes, opposite outcomes. Why? Institutions. We uncover why “markets” aren't a moral compass; why an emerging-market test now applies to America; what Turkey teaches about politicos capturing central banks; and how a weaker, politicised dollar would rattle Bretton Woods, push allies away, and turn a stock market priced for perfection into kindling. It's part musical, part macro: from Don't Cry for Me, Argentina to Don't Cry for Me, Oklahoma. We'll explain how it starts, how it ends, and what the rest of us in Europe should do while the richest third-world country in history experiments on the global monetary system. Hosted on Acast. The internet was supposed to set us free. But somewhere along the way, it became a tool for surveillance, extraction, and control. What happened? And is there still time to reclaim the weird, untapped potential of the digital world? This week, Sean is joined by Douglas Rushkoff. He's a media theorist, author of Survival of the Richest and Team Human, and host of the Team Human podcast. They trace the arc of the internet from its utopian beginnings to its corporate capture, and explore what it would take to build something different. Along the way, they talk about the loss of weirdness, the logic of capitalism, the dangers of scale, and the difference between systems thinking and systems feeling. They also reflect on whether it's still possible to use technology to foster a more connected and communal life. Host: Sean Illing (@SeanIlling) Guest: Douglas Rushkoff, media theorist and host of Team Human We'd love to hear from you. Email us at tga@voxmail.com or leave a voicemail at 1-800-214-5749.
