The boys are back and fresh off the long holiday weekend ready to talk about what everyone wants to know: what goes on the Thanksgiving plate? Josh and Dante recap their holiday weekends as Josh traveled back home to Baltimore, and was boots on the ground for the Ravens vs. Eagles game, and Dante had himself the most Italian Thanksgiving we've ever heard of. As they mentioned last week, Thanksgiving is undoubtedly the most elite holiday of the year, and this year was once again kick started by the Dons capturing their second consecutive Turkey Bowl Trophy. Moving on to the professional game, the Ravens dropped their 5th game of the season this week to the Eagles, losing by a final score of 24-19. This was not a perfect game on a number of fronts, but the worst showing of all this week was, unfortunately, Justin Tucker. The boys are firmly pushing the panic button and asking “what is going on with Justin Tucker?” after 13 consecutive weeks of not being able to put the ball through the uprights. In addition to Tucker, another issue hindering the Ravens' success this week was the offensive line, and specifically, the play of Patrick Mekari and Daniel Faalele. At this point deep into the season, Dante explains why the blame should fall on someone other than those two individuals. The Ravens outgained the Eagles in all facets of the game, which makes this one even harder to swallow. Dante and Josh take a look at what caused this one to go awry. If there was one silver lining, however, in this contest, it was the fact that the defense has strung together three straight games of really good ball. It was not perfect, but ultimately, one of the boys gives their take on why they believe the defensive effort was enough to get the job done. As the Ravens head into the bye week, they're faced with a number of questions: what will the line look like following the bye, how will they get over the liability that is Justin Tucker missing kicks and flipping the opponents starting points, and what the hell is going on with Diontae Johnson? With some extra time this week, the boys dive into the college football landscape on the heels of an AWESOME rivalry week. This year's rivalry week did not disappoint as we had Michigan upsetting Ohio State in Columbus, NC State beating UNC in Chapel Hill, and just about every fight imaginable. Josh gives his take on why college football is the greatest sport in America. The boys wrap up the show with some music talk, tease a potential guest for the coming weeks, and send y'all into the best weekend of your lives. Thank you all for coming back and rocking with us. We love each and every one of you. Cheers!
Much of the Ravens' early struggles could be explained by the team's reliance on unproven players, such as guard Daniel Faalele and Trenton Simpson. But some of the team's veterans, including kicker Justin Tucker and tight end Mark Andrews, aren't living up to expectations either. What's going on with Baltimore's stars? Co-hosts Paul Mancano and Jonas Shaffer discuss the return of edge rusher Yannick Ngakoue (1:30) some concerning signs from some of the team's key players (7:10). Then they preview Sunday's game against the undefeated Buffalo Bills (26:55).
The boys are back this week and FINALLY have something good to talk about. For the first time since January, the Ravens are back in the win column, but not without giving us a good scare first. The Ravens went into Dallas and beat the Cowboys 28-25 led by a vintage King Derrick Henry performance. The boys discuss why they still struggle to close out games late, and why Todd Monken and John Harbaugh are over complicating the game. Kyle Van Noy broke a bone in his face and somehow got better. Kyle Hamilton reminded us all that he still is a bad, bad man. Daniel Faalele and Patrick Mekari heard the noise and delivered an improved performance. Finally, Lamar Jackson is cementing himself as a vocal leader of this team and it is exactly what we need. The Orioles enter Tuesday's series with the Yankees with the potential to clinch a playoff spot, and are finally getting healthy… watch out! The Ravens are home again this week on SNF with the undefeated Bills coming to town. The boys take a look at what they'll need to do to give Buffalo their first loss of the season. There's a lot of good college football matchups happening this week, including one at which we will have boots on the ground, for the boys to break down. Josh talks about what he's heard from Lost Lands, Dante gives his best bets, and we send yall into another great weekend. Don't forget to use code “Dante” at Huega House, and code “Wave15” at Captain Coffee for 15% off all orders. We love you all. Cheers!
Coach Evans from Sip2Tally Films joins the show to give his thoughts on Baltimore's first win of the season. Daniel Faalele performed better a right guard but good enough to continue starting? It was great to see Derrick Henry have a big game. The Ravens' problems are apparent to those who watched the team's first two games. But are their issues fixable at this point in the season? Columnist Kyle Goon joins co-hosts Paul Mancano and Jonas Shaffer to discuss why head coach John Harbaugh is not on the hot seat (3:24), Daniel Faalele's spot at right guard (9:20), the offense's identity (19:43) and more. Then, Kyle, Paul and Jonas preview the Ravens' Week 3 game against the Cowboys (24:33).
The boys are back and there's nothing to be happy about this week except Captain Coffee (code Wave15) and Huega House (code Dante). The Ravens lose their home opener, just the fourth time this has happened under coach John Harbaugh, and fall to 0-2 on the season. Obviously Dante and Josh are not happy about this and are asking the important questions that everyone wants answers to. Dante wants to start with the head coach, and specifically regarding the league-leading ten 7+ point blown 4th quarter leads in the last two seasons. Dante wants to know why John Harbaugh-led teams cannot close out games, why he seems to be the common denominator, and ultimately why Mike Tomlin was right about this organization. Aside from the head coaching inadequacies, the offensive line has proven to be a MAJOR issue for this team, especially the right side. Daniel Faalele and Patrick Mekari have given up insurmountable pressures and sacks that are ultimately losing games for the Ravens -- but for some reason, John Harbaugh will not make a change this week. The boys take a look at the play calling and why that is an added issue to the laundry list of those this team is facing. Ultimately, the Ravens do not have an identity on offense, and if they do, they don't know what it is yet. Derrick Henry and Mark Andrews have been criminally underutilized and the boys want to know why. Dante has one solution: PLAY ACTION. Lastly… should we be concerned about Justin Tucker? On the defensive side of the ball, there were several bright spots up front including Kyle Van Noy and Odafe Oweh, who both had 2+ sacks in Sunday's loss. Ultimately, this loss leads to the first 0-2 start for the Ravens since 2015, and they face an uphill battle to make the playoffs. Moving on to this week's matchup, the Ravens head to Dallas to take on the 1-1 Cowboys. Josh and Dante keep it simple with their keys to victory this week, and Dante explains why now more than ever, the blueprint is simple but critical. The boys take a look at the College Football slate this week and talk about their favorite matchups. They wrap up with some music talk as Dante recounts his experience with Noah Kahan this weekend, Josh talks about Lost Lands this upcoming week, and song recommendations of course. We love you all so much and are so thankful for each and every one of you. Cheers!

Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen, the two most accomplished quarterbacks in the 2018 draft class, square off, and Wilcox says Jackson will always have a chip on his shoulder after being the fifth QB taken in that draft. The Ravens passing defense ranks No. 32 in the league through three games, and the Bills passing offense ranks No. 1. How do the Ravens try to go about slowing down Stefon Diggs and that offense? Wilcox has some ideas. The Ravens also have to deal with a tenacious Bills pass rush led by Von Miller and Greg Rousseau, and might have to do it with rookie Daniel Faalele at left tackle. Wilcox has some keys to a game that many people think could be an AFC title game preview.

1. Buzz suggests the Giants are one of the two teams in the top-10 that are most likely to trade back. GM Joe Schoen wants to pull off a similar trade the division-rival Eagles just made with the Saints and get an additional 2023 first-round pick. However, the feeling around the NFL is that there isn't a player in this draft worth spending such capital to trade up for, which means that such a haul is unlikely for the Giants. That said, should the Giants accept an offer that includes say an extra second AND extra third next year? 2. In recent weeks, it has become easier to decipher what the Commanders intend to do compared to most teams. First, they give up A LOT to trade for Carson Wentz. And Ron Rivera, who rarely attends Pro Days unless they have players his team is VERY high on, was spotted at the Ohio State Pro Day watching Garrett Wilson and Chris Olave. Based on those tealeaves, would it be somewhat of a surprise if a WR is not the pick for Washington at 11? 3. It's been two weeks since Eagles GM Howie Roseman shook up the draft with that aforementioned blockbuster trade of draft capital with the Saints. And given Roseman's trademark for always being willing to wheel and deal his way both up and down the board, he may not be done. Do you think it's more likely he spends one of his two remaining firsts and one of his two thirds to trade up on draft day, or do you think it's more likely he trades back from one of those two firsts? 4. Looking at the Cowboys roster needs and their pre-draft activity, I think the pick at 24 overall will either be an interior offensive lineman to replace Connor Williams, a WR to help replace Amari Cooper or a defensive end to replace Randy Gregory. Do you see the Cowboys going in any other directions with that pick? 5. Giants 3-Round Mock -(5): Kayvon Thibodeaux -(7): Sauce Gardner -(36): Devin Lloyd -(67): Daniel Faalele -(81): Darian Kinnard 6. Commanders 3-Round Mock -(11): Drake London -(47): Breece Hall 7. The Minnesota Gophers will send two of the more intruiging athletes in college football to the 2022 NFL Draft. While both Boye Mafe and Daniel Faalele have either the pure size or remarkable measurables to make it into the first round of the draft, but questions about how they'll develop into a pro system and the few lacking skills are getting in the way of having coaches go all in on them at the pro level. What is it that makes these players such pure athletes, and what are the things the critics say Faalele and Mafe have to do to excel at the next level. On today's show, I wanted to muse about the 3-4 defense and how it evolved, which reminds me of the super specific evolutionary envrionment of the Galapagos Islands. Welcome to a new episode of Land-Grant Holy Land's I-70 podcast. On this show we talk all things Big Ten football and basketball. After every week of action, we will get you caught up on all the conference's games and look ahead at the matchups, storylines, and players that you should be paying attention to in the next week. My name is Jordan Williams, and I am joined by my co-host Dante Morgan. In this episode we get sidetracked and start talking about the NFL and the likelihood that Russell Wilson or Aaron Rodgers gets traded. Is Jameis Winston the best free agent quarterback and what will happen with Deshaun Watson? After getting on track, we get into the NFL Combine and which Big Ten players will show out in the combine? We get into which wide receiver will have the best career. Can Aidan Hutchinson reach Bosa or Watt brother status? Plus, will Daniel Faalele be a bust? In our first venture into Men's basketball, we update the current rankings in the Big Ten where Wisconsin is leading a close competition for the Big Ten regular season championship. Jordan wants to know why Illinois isn't historically in the conversation with Duke, North Carolina, and Kansas. Despite all the talent in Chicago they have never capitalized to raise their profile. A Big Ten school hasn't won the national championship since 2000, will that change in 2022? Dante doesn't think so. In their weekly pit stops Jordan advocates for the benefits of multi-sport athletes. High school students should not specialize in a singular sport there are way more advantages to playing multiple sports and being a well-rounded athlete. Dante talks about Michigan hiring Denard Robinson to their staff and the benefits of hiring former players as brand ambassadors.
