For families who've had loved ones killed by someone driving under the influence of drugs/alcohol it gives them a guarantee -- that the driver will be in prison for a minimum of 5 years..so they don't need to keep fighting to keep the offender behind bars if they get a light sentence. Glendon Mitchell, Grandfather of Eli Mitchell joins on the show to speak with Dave and Debbie about the proposal.
What the what! The two Monday night games -- Titans/Dolphins and Packers/Giants -- were absolutely crazy, and certainly swung a whole bunch of fantasy playoff races. We'll dig into those games and talk about implications going forward, and then also discuss the rest of the Sunday Week 14 film with an eye toward building great lineups for the fantasy playoffs. Today on NFL Total Access The Podcast I am joined by two special guests, Steve Smith Sr and Michael Robinson, as we continue to break down Super Wild Card Weekend. We'll start with why we should be focusing on the 49ers' Brandon Aiyuk and Eli Mitchell, who are the keys to a 49ers run. We'll also take a closer look at 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan, who is both underrated and overrated all at the same time. Does Geno Smith needs to throw a perfect game for the Seahawks to have a chance and is the Jags and Chargers game the 4-5 matchup we should be talking about not the Bucs and Cowboys? We'll also take a closer look at the Bengals success and the mystery man who deserves so much credit for it, but most of us don't even know who it is. Finally, we'll end the episode with some bold predictions for the Super Wild Card Weekend, where Mike and Steve will provide their thoughts on who they think will win and why. Tune in to episode 4 of "Gridiron Forecast," as host Nick Rizzo and guest Nick Carlson discuss the possible even split between Christian McCaffery and Eli Mitchell, Justin Fields' recent performance, and much more!
Host Carl Lewis and NFL punter James Godlonton go through their best bets for Week 11 in the NFL including Carl's parlay. Tennessee Titans at Green Bay Packers The Packers hammered Tennessee 40-14 the last time they met at Lambeau Field on Dec. 27, 2020. Aaron Rodgers and Christian Watson connected for three TDs in Week 10, which kept their NFC playoff hopes alive. Tennessee's offense has struggled, but Derrick Henry should feast against a Packers' defense that allows 140.6 rushing yards per game. Tennessee wins on a walk-off field goal by Randy Bullock. Chicago Bears at Atlanta Falcons Justin Fields, who has 325 rushing yards the last two weeks, is drawing comparisons to Michael Vick. Will Fields, a Kennesaw, Ga., native, put on a show against Vick's former team? Atlanta had a long week to bounce back from a Thursday Night Football loss against the Panthers. These are two of the three worst passing offenses in the NFL. Fields' play-making on the run will make the difference. Carolina Panthers at Baltimore Ravens The Ravens had a bye week, and that should help against the Panthers. Baltimore is 2-2 at home, and all of those games have been decided by four points or less. The Ravens are 27th in pass offense; one spot ahead of the Panthers. Will Lamar Jackson or P.J. Walker finds a rhythm through the air? The Panthers are 0-4 S/U on the road. Trust the home team. Cleveland Browns at Buffalo Bills The Browns still have two games before Deshaun Watson returns from an 11-game suspension, and they are going to be brutal. Buffalo is coming off a loss, and Josh Allen will bounce back against a Cleveland defense that was torched by Miami for 39 points and 491 yards in Week 10. The Browns won the last meeting 19-16 in Allen's second season in 2019. The Bills turn the tables. Washington Commanders at Houston Texans The Commanders are on the fringe of the playoff picture, and they have won two road games this season. Houston does not have much outside a solid rookie season from running back Dameon Pierce (772 yards, 3 TDs). The Texans are 0-4 ATS when they are an underdog of less than seven points. Philadelphia Eagles at Indianapolis Colts If Colts interim coach Jeff Saturday knocks the Eagles off, then will he be voted Coach of the Year? Jonathan Taylor resurfaced with 147 yards and a TD in Week 10, and that's the recipe Saturday is going to ride with Philadelphia coming off a short week. It will work into the second half, but the Eagles get back on track after Monday's loss to Washington. Jalen Hurts hits A.J. Brown with the game-winning touchdown in the final minute. New York Jets at New England Patriots These teams met in Week 8, and the Patriots won 22-17 on the strength of five field goals by Nick Folk. The Jets had a bye week to enjoy the victory against Buffalo. Zach Wilson had a season-low 48.8% completion percentage in the first meeting against the Patriots. What will Wilson learn from that experience on the road against a Bill Belichick defense? Los Angeles Rams at New Orleans Saints The Rams have lost three straight games, a stretch in which they have averaged 14.7 points per game. Now, Cooper Kupp might be out with an ankle injury. The Saints have averaged 11.5 points in back-to-back losses, and they have lost four of five. When two bad teams meet, anything can happen. This is a coin-flip game. Detroit Lions at New York Giants The Lions have a chance for a rare three-game win streak, and their offense looks better when Amon-Ra St. Brown is healthy. New York is 3-1 S/U in home games this season, and all four have been decided by eight points or less. The Giants keep it moving in the right direction in a thriller. The Lions still can't stop the run, and Saquon Barkley will have a huge game. Las Vegas Raiders at Denver Broncos It's the Josh McDaniels bowl in a battle of the most disappointing teams of 2022. Denver has the top scoring defense in the NFL, and yet the offense has been miserable. The Raiders have won the last five in this rivalry, but the Broncos flip the script. Dallas Cowboys at Minnesota Vikings The Cowboys are favored against Minnesota, which continues to produce close-game victories. Kirk Cousins is 2-8 lifetime against Dallas, and that includes a 1-2 mark with Minnesota. Still, the strong running game with Dalvin Cook and connection with Justin Jefferson has gone a long way this season. All that said, the fact Dallas is favored makes us think Dak Prescott will bounce back on the road. Cincinnati Bengals at Pittsburgh Steelers The Steelers beat the Bengals 23-20 and are a different team with T.J. Watt on the field. The Bengals, however, are coming off a bye week. Joe Burrow will not throw four interceptions this time, and the running game behind Joe Mixon will be a difference maker. Cincinnati picks up its first AFC North victory of the season. Kansas City Chiefs at Los Angeles Chargers Sunday, 8:20 p.m., NBC The Chiefs have scored 40-plus points in three of their four road games, and they have a chance to win a ninth straight game at the Chargers' home field. Patrick Mahomes II maintains the hot hand, and the Chiefs continue to look like the team to beat in the AFC. San Francisco 49ers (-7.5) at Arizona Cardinals The 49ers are rounding into shape as a playoff contender, and the tag-team backfield of Christian McCaffrey and Eli Mitchell combined for 32 carries for 127 yards against the Chargers in Week 10. San Francisco will continue to grind out wins against Arizona, which might be without Kyler Murray (hamstring) for another week. The Cardinals did sweep this series in 2021, but the 49ers are the better team this time.
The 49ers beat the Chargers 22-16 on Sunday night. Jason and Andrew look at what worked for the 49ers.

Christian McCaffrey traded to the San Francisco 49ers reaction. Why the Carolina Panthers traded him? Will DJ Moore get traded? Are the 49ers Super Bowl contenders? Matt Harmon is joined by Scott Pianowski and Andy Behrens in previewing each of the Week 6 games in the NFL from a fantasy perspective.Find out why Gabe Davis reminds the guys of Stefon Diggs (in Minnesota), why Eno Benjamin could be a league winner, and when is the right time to trade Rondale Moore. The guys also talk a lot about the fantasy value for playmakers that are lacking at the QB position, like Alec Pierce in Indianapolis (sorry, Matt Ryan) and Tyreek Hill in Miami (not sorry, Skylar Thompson).Matt gets to laugh at Scott and Andy, who continue their noble pursuit of a worthwhile Giants WR (Darius Slayton? Wan'Dale Robinson? Nobody?) and gets called out for bragging about having a lot of Jakobi Meyers on his teams. The Packers offense looks broken, but their coaching is good enough that it should be fixed soon. On the other hand, the guys wonder if maybe Zac Taylor is the problem instead of the solution in Cincinnati. There's also debate on whether or not Jeff Wilson will keep the starting RB job with the 49ers once Eli Mitchell returns. Finally, the guys break down the Cowboys-Eagles game on Sunday night and talk about how wrong they were in thinking the Broncos were going to be good as a way to preview their Monday night game against the Chargers.01:25 Bills at Chiefs10:45 Cardinals at Seahawks20:10 Jaguars at Colts28:40 Vikings at Dolphins33:40 Ravens at Giants39:15 Buccaneers at Steelers46:15 Jets at Packers51:15 Bengals at Saints58:30 Patriots at Browns63:35 49ers at Falcons67:15 Panthers at Rams70:00 Cowboys at Eagles73:55 Broncos at ChargersCheck out all the episodes of the Yahoo Fantasy Football Forecast and the rest of the Yahoo Sports podcast family at https://apple.co/3zEuTQj or at Yahoo Sports PodcastsSee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

The guys spend hour two talking about the Raiders loss, whether Derek Carr is a franchise quarterback, Eli Mitchell being out the next couple months and much more.
Sho Alli and Matt Marchese take a look back at some of the Week 1 results, and dive into the guys you should be targeting on the waiver wire this week. How much stock should you put in the Washington Commanders offence when it comes to Curtis Samuel, Jahan Dotson, Logan Thomas, or Carson Wentz? Is it worth it to bid on Gerald Everett or Robert Tonyan if you're streaming tight ends? Plus, a discussion on Jeff Wilson Jr. and how much of your FAAB budget should be used with Eli Mitchell injured. The views and opinions expressed in this podcast are those of the hosts and guests and do not necessarily reflect the position of Rogers Sports & Media or any affiliates.
Host Carl Lewis is joined by experienced NFL punter James Godlonton for Week 1 of the NFL. Which home underdogs are going to come through in Week 1 of the NFL season? That's the big question knowing that 10 home teams are underdogs, starting with the defending Super Bowl champion in the Thursday Night Football opener. The Bills, a popular pick to win Super Bowl LVII, are slight favourites against the Rams in what should be a thrilling quarterback duel between Josh Allen and Matthew Stafford. Which home underdogs are interesting? The Vikings could be a trendy pick against the Packers in a battle of NFC North teams. The Lions, this year's Hard Knocks superstars, are trying to start the season off with a victory against the Eagles. Those are a few we have an eye on. NFL picks, predictions for Week 1 Buffalo Bills (-2.5) at Los Angeles Rams The defending Super Bowl champion is 14-3 S/U in the NFL Kickoff Game. The Bills are “all-in” on a Super Bowl run, but the Rams are still more than talented enough to make a run at a repeat. The Rams are at home, and Matthew Stafford shakes off any doubts about a hangover season with a game-winning TD drive, complete with a TD pass to Cooper Kupp. Take the home underdog. Pick: Rams 28, Bills 24 San Francisco 49ers (-7) at Chicago Bears Let the Trey Lance era begin. Lance settles in behind a strong running game led by Eli Mitchell with Deebo Samuel mixed in against the Bears' run defense, which will improve under new coach Matt Eberflus. Justin Fields has trouble against the 49ers' pass rush, led by fellow former Buckeye Nick Bosa. Still a chance for a back-door cover here. Pick: 49ers 24, Bears 17 New Orleans Saints (-5.5) at Atlanta Falcons Jameis Winston and Marcus Mariota, the top two picks in the 2015 NFL Draft, are together again. It's a new era for the Saints with Dennis Allen as head coach, too. The Saints have won the last four at Atlanta by an average of seven points per game. We're tempted to pull the upset here, but it's tough to go against that trend. Pick: Saints 24, Falcons 23 Pittsburgh Steelers at Cincinnati Bengals (-6.5) The Bengals have a chance to beat the rival Steelers for the fourth straight time; something that hasn't happened since a six-game streak from 1988-90. That's when Cincinnati was the better team with Boomer Esiason. Guess what? The Bengals are the better team with Joe Burrow. Pick: Bengals 30, Steelers 20 Philadelphia Eagles (-4) at Detroit Lions Sunday, 1 p.m, FOX The Lions haven't won their opener since 2017, but the opportunity for Dan Campbell to get the second season off on the right foot is there. Philadelphia was 6-1 S/U as a favorite last season, and they made some solid additions on defense. Jalen Hurts and A.J. Brown combines for a strong connection early, and the Eagles escape Ford Field with a victory. Pick: Eagles 29, Lions 26 New England Patriots at Miami Dolphins (-3) It's the battle of the Alabama QBs. Tua Tagovailoa has a pair of speedy receivers in Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, and the Patriots enter their second year with Mac Jones. The Patriots have lost four of their last five in Miami, and there is a lot of uncertainty around the offense. That's why this is the upset nobody sees coming in Week 1. Well, Bill Belichick does. Pick: Patriots 24, Dolphins 20 Baltimore Ravens (-7) at New York Jets The Joe Flacco revenge game is here. The Jets quarterback will get a shot at his old team, and New York has a few impressive rookies in Garrett Wilson and Sauce Gardner. Lamar Jackson, however, is in prove-it mode around an offense that has enough playmakers to make a run in the AFC. Baltimore has won nine of the last meetings against the Jets. Pick: Ravens 30, Jets 22 Jacksonville Jaguars at Washington Commanders (-3) Sunday, 1 p.m, FOX The Carson Wentz era begins in Washington, but Jacksonville coach Doug Pederson has some experience against the Commanders from his Philadelphia days. That means a tight game on both sides, and Washington won't have Chase Young in this game. This one could be a field goal at the buzzer, and we'll stick with the home team. Pick: Commanders 24, Jaguars 21 Cleveland Browns at Carolina Panthers (-2.5) Sunday, 1 p.m, CBS The Baker Mayfield Bowl is here. The Browns are relying on Jacoby Brissett through the Deshaun Watson suspension, and the potential headlines if Mayfield beats his former team will be off the charts. Nick Chubb, however, will lead a ground-heavy attack and Myles Garrett comes up with the strip sack in crunch time. Cleveland holds off the potential embarrassment, but not by much. Pick: Browns 22, Panthers 20 Indianapolis Colts (-8) at Houston Texans The Texans open the Lovie Smith era, and it's going to be a rebuild. Dameon Pierce will impress in spots, the Colts – led by veteran quarterback Matt Ryan – flex as a potential Super Bowl contender at their AFC South rival's expense. The Colts are 8-5 as the away favorite under Frank Reich. Pick: Colts 28, Texans 21 New York Giants at Tennessee Titans (-5.5) The Giants open the Brian Daboll era, and the offence needs to be better after averaging 15.2 points per game last season. Saquon Barkley is in a prove-it year, but yards will be tough against the Titans' defence. Tennessee controls the home opener around Ryan Tannehill and a healthy Derrick Henry. Pick: Titans 28, Giants 20 Green Bay Packers (-1.5) at Minnesota Vikings Sunday, 4:25 p.m, FOX This is a tough one to pick. Aaron Rodgers has an unproven group of receivers at U.S. Bank Stadium, which is one of the tougher venues. The Vikings have a new coach in Kevin O'Connell, and Kirk Cousins will be aggressive with Justin Jefferson and Adam Thielen. The Packers are 2-4 in their last six trips to Minnesota. This won't be easy, but we'll trust Rodgers to be better than last year's Week 1 disaster. Pick: Packers 28, Vikings 22 Kansas City Chiefs (-4.5) at Arizona Cardinals Sunday, 4:25 p.m, CBS The Patrick Mahomes-Kliff Kingsbury connection is a narrative, but the focus will shift toward Kyler Murray, who was the headlines for most of the offseason. How will he fare without DeAndre Hopkins? How will Mahomes look without Tyreek Hill? The Chiefs are 12-1 S/U against the NFC teams in the regular season the last three seasons. Perhaps that is why the line has bumped up two points. Pick: Chiefs 33, Cardinals 24 Las Vegas Raiders at Los Angeles Chargers (-3) Sunday, 4:25 p.m, CBS This was a wild game in Week 18 last season, and these are two AFC West contenders. The Raiders have split the last eight road meetings against the Chargers, and new coach Josh McDaniels brings a new element to the rivalry. Look for Derek Carr to stay comfortable with Davante Adams and Darren Waller, but the Raiders have to keep the ground game going late to preserve the victory. The Chargers were 5-4 at home last season. Pick: Raiders 27, Chargers 24 Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-2) at Dallas Cowboys This line dropped a half point toward the Cowboys, who pushed the Buccaneers last year in Week 1 in a 31-29 shootout. Tom Brady returned from retirement, and at 45 years old he will be the focus against Dallas' defense led by Micah Parsons. This game could play out a lot like the last one, but we're not done betting on Brady in the clutch yet. Pick: Buccaneers 31, Cowboys 27 Denver Broncos (-6.5) at Seattle Seahawks Monday, 8:15 p.m., ESPN/ABC Russell Wilson won't have to wait long to face his former team. The Broncos have a talented, young team, too, and the Seahawks have a tenuous quarterback situation at best. Seattle ranked 31st in pass defense last season. Wilson will cap Week 1 with a memorable MNF performance. Pick: Broncos 30, Seahawks 20

2022 NFL Draft will feature a productive RB drafted on Day 3. It is inevitable, every draft does. Names like Pierre Strong, Tyler Allgeier, Brian Robinson Jr. and Dameon Pierce might not receive a ton of early round love, but their upside might be starter level. Josh Norris and Hayden Winks evaluate the RB prospects with highlights and project their future 2022 fantasy football success. We try to find the next Eli Mitchell. Great for the dynasty community.

The recipe to win this game is to finally establish the run early and get a lead. It must happen if the Niners are going to win tomorrow.
We need to slash greenhouse-gas emissions while supporting activities that remove greenhouse gasses from the atmosphere, and carbon markets can both accelerate reductions and ramp up removals. Why, then, is the debate so contentious? For answers, I turned to Eli-Mitchell Larson, a self-proclaimed “Carbon Removal Evangelist” who's helping to build up Carbon Removal Advocacy Europe (CRAE). We had a long and fruitful discussion that I think serves as a sort of reductions and removals 101.

Glenn's actually got a couple of Norm Macdonald stories to tell as we're all reeling. The Ravens have some roster spots to fill. Early in Hour 2, Fox Sports analyst/former USC running back Petros Papadakis checked in before he calls Maryland/Illinois for FS1 Friday. And at the bottom of Hour 2, this week's PressBox Fantasy Football Show with Ken Zalis, covering the Ravens' backfield, Eli Mitchell's rise and what was real and what wasn't (both good and bad) from Week 1 of the Fantasy Football season.

Many corporations, organizations, and governments have made net zero commitments, and most are leaning on voluntary carbon offsetting to achieve these climate goals. But how can we be sure that such carbon offsets demonstrate a real change in the atmosphere? And how can we approach offsetting in a way that gives rise to an actual net zero society? Eli Mitchell-Larson is a climate researcher and PhD candidate at the University of Oxford and the corresponding author of The Oxford Principles for Net Zero Aligned Carbon Offsetting. He also serves as an advisor to Carbon Direct and is helping build a new carbon removal advocacy organization in Europe. On this episode of Reversing Climate Change, Eli joins Ross to walk us through Oxford’s four principles, explaining why the guidelines prioritize decarbonizing first and then negating emissions. Eli describes why he advocates for a shift to carbon removal offsetting and long-lived storage, discussing why he believes nature-based solutions are crucial—but may not be appropriate for carbon markets. Listen in to understand the argument of why companies must support the development of net zero aligned offsetting (and what that might look like) and learn how you can get involved in Eli’s burgeoning advocacy organization that serves as a champion for carbon removal. “CO2 is a cumulative pollutant. Once it's released, it effectively is there forever in circulation. The first flight that our grandparents ever took, the first car that was ever driven, that CO2 is still up there.” In this episode we chat with Eli Mitchell-Larson, a former impact investor and social entrepreneur, currently at the Environmental Change Institute at the University of Oxford where he focuses on carbon capture and storage, standards for credible carbon offsetting, and pathways for decarbonizing fossil fuels. Eli is a Tomorrow's Air Supporter and Science Advisor. In this podcast Eli shares how his travels - from the White House to Antarctica - have inspired him, along with his perspective on the role of carbon offsets in voluntary carbon markets, and why all offsets are not created equal.
