Orion Minerals Ltd (ASX: ORN, JSE:ORN) managing director and CEO Errol Smart joins Proactive's Tylah Tully to discuss progress on feasibility studies for the Prieska Copper-Zinc Mine (PCZM) and Okiep Copper Project (OCP) in South Africa's Northern Cape. This comes as the company appointed Nick Fouche as PCZM project director and LMMS Consultants for optimisation work. Fouche, a seasoned mining executive with experience in developing significant mining projects, previously led Palabora Mining Company's growth. His role at Orion focuses on optimising PCZM's design and scheduling. Australian-based LMMS Consultants, experienced in international and South African projects, will assist in refining the PCZM feasibility study, aiming to improve mine scheduling and design through expert guidance. Key LMMS consultants Joe Luxford and Doug Syme have been instrumental in similar South African projects, contributing experience in the local operational landscape. A recent internal review of PCZM identified potential enhancements through optimisation with the ongoing work set for completion this quarter. The optimised feasibility study is now expected in early 2025. Smart emphasised the importance of optimising the mine design to enhance ore recovery and financial returns. Concurrently, the feasibility study for OCP's Flat Mines Project remains on schedule for review in November 2024, with delivery by year-end. #ProactiveInvestors #OrionMinerals #ASX #JSE #MiningUpdates, #CopperZincMining, #PrieskaProject, #OkiepProject, #FeasibilityStudy, #NorthernCapeMining, #NickFouche, #LMMSConsultants, #SouthAfricanMining, #MineOptimisation, #CopperMining, #ZincMining, #ProjectDevelopment, #ErrolSmart, #MiningIndustry, #Engineering, #MiningConsultants, #ResourceOptimisation, #LongTermMining

There are a lot of us that don't do SW full-time. A lot of us do SW on the side or are moonlighting at night time after our 9-5s, which is totally okay. I bring on adult creator, model, speaker, and entrepreneur, Addis Fouche, onto the show to discuss how she left her career in advertising for a full-time career in the adult industry. We chat about balancing vanilla work with sex work, the right timing to transition to full-time sex work, public speaking, and advocacy. Addis shares her background growing up in Brooklyn and attending boarding school, her experiences as a sugar baby and adult content creator, and her involvement in grassroots organizations supporting sex workers. The conversation highlights the importance of humanizing sex workers and breaking down stereotypes and the challenges of balancing multiple careers and income streams. She emphasizes the importance of trial and error, setting short-term and long-term goals, and having a consistent income stream. Addis also shares her strategies for time management, self-care, and maintaining privacy while showcasing her personality online. She highlights the significance of rest, financial planning, and investing in professional help. Addis emphasizes the need for sex workers to be seen as multifaceted individuals and challenges the stigma surrounding their work.

Terry Fouche, lead pastor of Mercy Town Church in Pasadena share with us that relationships are so often where the “rubber meets the road” in our hearing and doing. We can have lofty ideals of being faithful people, but then it has to be lived out in the context of life with other people. God’s wisdom speaks directly to many of our key relationships. – Proverbs Reading Plan: https://www.bible.com/reading-plans/3055-the-wisdom-of-proverbs – Anthem Church is a church for the city of Ventura helping people find their way back to God. Można spróbować ją porównać do Jacka Kaczmarskiego, Pawła Jasienicy (autora książki “Rozważania o wojnie domowej”) czy Jerzego Andrzejewskiego (autora książki “Popiół i diament”). Ktoś musi grzęznąć w szlamie i popiele, sprężynach kanap, drzazgach szkła i krwawych szmatach. I mniej niż mało. Nawet złamało zakaz i rozrzuciło papiery. Co więcej jest do zrobienia. Spać i czekać. Niech no on tylko wróci, niech no się pokaże. Jesteś - a więc musisz minąć. Kiepsko przygotowana do zaszczytu życia, narzucone mi tempo akcji znoszę z trudem. Improwizuję, choć brzydzę się improwizacją. Potykam się co krok o nieznajomość rzeczy. Mój sposób bycia zatrąca zaściankiem. Moje instynkty to amatorszczyzna. Gotharda. Musimy zmylić straże na pustyni Thor, przebić się kanałami do Śródmieścia, znaleźć dojście do króla Haralda Osełki i czekać na upadek ministra Fouche. Dopiero w Acapulco zaczniemy wszystko od nowa. Wyczerpał się nam zapas opatrunków, zapałek, argumentów, tłuków pięściowych i wody. Nie mamy ciężarówek i poparcia Mingów. Tym chudym koniem nie przepłacimy szeryfa. Żadnych, jak dotąd, wieści o porwanych w jasyr. Brakuje nam cieplejszej jaskini na mrozy i kogoś, kto by znał język harari. Nadchodzi pora rozpalenia ogni. Zawezwijmy depeszą babcię z Zabierzowa. Porozwiązujmy węzły na rzemieniach jurty. Oby połóg był lekki i dziecko rosło nam zdrowo. Niech będzie czasem szczęśliwe i przeskakuje przepaście. This is part 3 of my French Revolution episodes celebrating the Stanley Loomis book Paris In The Terror. Have you ever wondered how people with differing political opinions would hate each other enough to have each other's heads chopped off by the guillotine? The answer to that can be found in this episode about the end of the road for that shifty dirty bastard Robespierre. Robespierre was a mediocre provincial lawyer who came to Paris and became one of the darkest forces in the drama that was the French Revolution. The enlightenment period was when field workers started to wake up and ask themselves "Why do those rich assholes get to live in the castle and wear fine clothes while we do all of the hard work?" This led to the French Revolution where king Louis XVI and his family all got their heads chopped off, then the citizens found out they loved chopping heads off so much they started cutting everyone's head off who may have disagreed with them. Robespierre out maneuvered Danton to become dictator for one year but there was a man named Fouche lurking in the shadows out maneuvering Robespierre. In this episode you will learn about The Festival Of Reason that turned into a drunken orgy in the most famous churches in Paris. Then with astounding magnitude you will marvel at the blunder that turned out to be the end for Robespierre. Get your smelly French cheeses ready, slice your baguette at an angle and pour yourself a glass of Pierre for this amazing ride that is the blood bath of heads falling into baskets otherwise known as the French Revolution. Just remember that it was all done for the good of the people, as is this podcast. Ashna and I now present to you, your brain food for the day. Is a lack of a God the basis for a religion? This week we tackle that very question over drinks with Meag! We get into everything from the myths of atheism, the history of it, and the various tenents. What is, actually, the difference between a philosophy and a religion? Can one have religion without God? And how much of *this* particular philosophy is misunderstood, and how much does it have in common with other forms of spirituality? Books &c Mentioned this episode were... the Thomas Jefferson version of the BibleRichard Dawkins' "The God Delusion"Joseph Campbell's "Godesses: Mysteries of the Feminine Divine"the infamous Stephen Fry interview where he lambasts GodPierre Chodelos de Laclos' "Dangerous Liaisons" NOTE: The Drunk Host must be corrected by the Sober Editor, becuse Robespierre was, in fact, an impassioned advocate of the Cult of the Supreme Being (Culte de l'Être Suprême), while the Cult of Reason (Culte de la Raison) was a rival state religion pushed by the like of Fouche and Herbert.
