Send us a texthe conversation moves through a fast, chaotic blend of social commentary, sexual humor, political cynicism, and personal reflection. It begins with discussion about the resurgence of collectible items and how AI and capitalism may force people back into simpler, more human activities. That leads into a critique of money, crypto, billionaires, and the concept that nearly everything in modern society is essentially fake. The dialogue expands into global politics—sanctions, coups, oil interests, and the U.S. acting as an unchecked global power. From there, the tone shifts into absurd humor about farming, insemination, and how people who fist cows often hold conservative anti-LGBT views. The conversation spirals into kink culture: leather scenes, pups, masks, fetishes, and why certain communities exist. This includes uncomfortable, explicit questions about fisting, bodily functions, sexual progression, and why some people enjoy extreme acts. The discussion then swerves to everyday life: talking to dogs like children, dogs' pack behavior, the contrast with aloof cats, and the bizarre reality of pets living indoors. Food prices, inflation, and the shrinking size of groceries become a point of frustration. The conversation returns to personal growth, aging, creative phases, past podcast eras, and how both hosts have changed since earlier episodes. Nostalgia for past creative periods emerges, along with recognition of personal evolution.Interwoven is a thread about filmmaking: the beginning of a documentary project, motivations behind solo travel, the meta-process of documenting the making of a documentary, and how it ties to self-reflection. The dialogue continues into aging, nightlife shifting into quiet routines, and the strange dissonance between adult responsibilities and the outrageous conversations they still have.Overall, the transcript jumps from existential dread to explicit gay sexual comedy, from geopolitical collapse to pet parenting, from leather festivals to the price of soup—all narrated with unfiltered honesty, sarcasm, and vulgar humor.Support the showAs always you can write us at nowellpodcast@gmail.com or call us at (614) 721-5336 and tell us your Not Wells of the week InstagramTwitterBobby's Only FansHelp us continue to grow and create amazing content, like a live tour or just help fund some new headphones when needed.

Send us a textThis Not Well episode is chaotic, funny, and wildly inappropriate in true Bobby-and-Jim fashion. It bounces from self-deprecating body talk and aging jokes to dark humor about ancestry, suicide, and religion—before spiraling into AI obsession, first-class flight hacks, uncut dick curiosity, fungal infections, and political outrage. The second half dives into everything from dementia couples and priest trauma to SNAP benefits, U.S. corruption, and gay community hypocrisy, closing with drunk theater reviews and existential crises. It's part therapy session, part stand-up set, and entirely unfiltered.Support the showAs always you can write us at nowellpodcast@gmail.com or call us at (614) 721-5336 and tell us your Not Wells of the week InstagramTwitterBobby's Only FansHelp us continue to grow and create amazing content, like a live tour or just help fund some new headphones when needed. This week on Killers, Cults & Queens, Cheryl and Nikki revisit one of the BBC's most infamous moments — Ghostwatch. Broadcast on Halloween night in 1992, the show appeared to be a live investigation into a haunted house… but what viewers didn't know was that it was entirely scripted. The result? Panic, confusion, and a scandal that would see the show banned for over a decade.Join us as we unpick how Ghostwatch blurred the lines between fact and fiction, why it terrified an entire nation, and how it paved the way for the modern horror genre. From Michael Parkinson's chilling final moments to the real-life consequences for viewers, this is the story of the hoax that went too far.Expect spooky nostalgia as we explore the show that made Britain believe in the supernatural — if only for one terrifying night.

Padma Lakshmi is unquestionably a woman of taste. As a host of the beloved food-competition series “Top Chef” and the star of the culinary docuseries “Taste the Nation,” she's spent nearly two decades artfully conveying—and critiquing—flavors and aromas for an audience. Before that, she was a fashion writer and model, cultivating her own sense of what's worth wearing and seeing. And she isn't done evolving: she's recently begun performing standup comedy, an art form with a notoriously steep learning curve. In a live taping at The New Yorker Festival, Vinson Cunningham, Naomi Fry, and Alexandra Schwartz talk with Lakshmi about the difference between discernment and pickiness, how travel has expanded her taste, and her approach to rendering judgement on TV. “I see my job as helping,” Lakshmi says. “I see my job as being the person in the kitchen who's saying, ‘Does this need a little salt?' ”Read, watch, and listen with the critics:“Top Chef” (2006—)“Taste the Nation” (2020-23)“RuPaul's Drag Race” (2009—)“American Idol” (2002—)“Project Runway” (2004—)“Padma's All American,” by Padma Lakshmi“Padma Lakshmi Walks Into a Bar,” by Helen Rosner (The New Yorker)“Art in the Age of Artificial Intelligence” (The New Yorker)Dijon's “Baby”“Frankenstein” (2025)New episodes drop every Thursday. Shantay, we all stay, when Connie Chen joins us to talk about her love of drag and drag queens. In this week's chilling episode, Cheryl and Nikki dive into one of Britain's most infamous paranormal cases — The Enfield Haunting. In 1977, a seemingly ordinary council house in Enfield, North London, became the centre of a supernatural storm. Furniture flew, toys hurled themselves across rooms, and a family of four were tormented by a mischievous — and sometimes malicious — poltergeist. But was this the work of the paranormal, or something far more human?Join Cheryl and Nikki as they unpick the chaos that gripped the nation — from the terrified Hodgson family to the investigators from the Society for Psychical Research who risked their reputations chasing ghosts. Along the way, they'll separate fact from fiction, uncover how The Conjuring 2 turned this haunting into Hollywood legend, and ask the ultimate question: was Enfield really haunted, or just the perfect media storm?Expect eerie happenings, questionable recordings, and a few very British ghosts of Christmas past…

Before a song is released, a record is produced, or a chorus is written, the musicians that write them think. A lot. They live. A lot. And they feel. A LOT. Hosted by award-winning interviewer Sofia Loporcaro, Before the Chorus explores the genuine human experiences behind the music. Sofia's deep knowledge of music and personal journey with mental health help her connect with artists on a meaningful level. This is a space where fans connect with artists, and listeners from all walks of life feel seen through the stories that shape the music we love. About the host: Sofia Loporcaro is an award-winning interviewer and radio host who's spent over 8 years helping musicians share their stories. She's hosted shows for Amazing Radio, and Transmission Roundhouse. Now on Before the Chorus, she's had the chance to host guests like Glass Animals, Feist, Madison Cunningham, Mick Jenkins, & Ru Paul's Drag Race winner Shea Couleé. Learn more about your ad choices.
