With it in place, you'll be able to get at least one influencer in your corner and work with them on future projects. Internal links are a great way to promote your content and help Google understand how your internal pages relate to each other. You can use HelloBar or OptinMonster to create pop-ups, pop-ins, and modal boxes that display information to visitors based on pretty much any criteria you choose. How Content Communities and Social Bookmarking Can Help You Promote Your Content. Both involve users submitting content to a central location, which can be accessed by the public. Each site will have different areas of specialty, different expectations, and most importantly, different forms of etiquette. StumbleUpon allows users to browse the web and bookmark pages that appeal to them. Reddit's "sub-Reddits" are a good place to start if you're looking for niche audiences. The more specific an audience you target, the better. Paid advertising can be used as a way to promote your content. If you're looking for a short-term boost or to "seed" your new content with eyeballs, consider using paid advertising. Inbound marketing relies on the creation of permanent assets and compounding growth. If you're building a landing page for a major piece of content, consider using paid advertising. You could also use paid advertising to direct traffic to a certain page of your site. Google AdWords and Facebook are the two heavy-hitting platforms for your campaign. Facebook Ads have a number of unique advantages over Google Ads Management Services. In an effort to get brands to pay for visibility in newsfeeds, Facebook has shown a pattern of changing its algorithm to reduce the visibility of content posted on brand pages.
1. 2. Foloseste-te de Hello Bar in Gomag Poti sa faci acelasi lucru si pe blog. Mai mult, poti sa folosesti hello bar – in Gomag e foarte simplu sa creezi unul – sau sa iti faci un landing page, sa il setezi ca homepage, la fel cum faci in campaniile de Black Friday, unde afisezi acelasi mesaj. Fa ceva diferit.

#Landingpages are an #essential part of any #organization's efforts to #grow and #develop as a #business. In this video, I'll cover #landingpagetools that can help you #build the best #landingpage possible. 1. #CARRD #Carrd is an immensely popular and versatile #landingpagebuilder that's fast and easy to use-- it requires no account for set up, all you have to do is start #building a #page. It offers a multitude of #themes to get started, #imageblocks for #text and #links, proper #formattingtools, and more. It's not the most in-depth or #customizabletools out there, but it is one of the easiest. It's free, easy to use, and effective. What else do you need? 2. #LEADPAGES #Leadpages is an in-depth, hands-on #websitebuilder that allows the #creation of great looking #landingpages, consistent #leadgeneration, and more. It's been widely adopted by many #bloggers and #smallbusinesses. Now, it's not free- it has several different pricing plans to help you #adapt to your #organization's #financial abilities. The first plan is basic, being just the #landingpagecreator, allowing mobile-friendly site #templates, #leadnotifications, pop-up and alert bar creation, and more. Higher tiers allow the #creation of entire #websites with #features such as #onlinesales, #AB split #testing and opt-in #textcampaigns. 3. #HELLOBAR #HelloBar is a little alert bar along the top of your #website, providing #notifications, #alerts, important information, or even privacy notes. The bar itself is used in too many #websites to count, being an immensely common way of portraying important #information or even #promotions where everyone can see. #HelloBar is a tool used for #creating these bars for your #websites, allowing for a high number of #subscribers and #popups, as well as #targetingfeatures and in-depth #designfeatures. These things increase as you go up the tiers. You could use this bar as a link to your #landingpage, a quick way to get back to the page that gives a #consumer everything they need. This allows a way to #garner #traffic in a constructive way, without cluttering up your #website. You can also use this bar to offer product or service promotions, such as sales or limited-time deals. Neil Patel is the Co-Founder of Neil Patel Digital, New York Times Bestselling author, Wall Street Journal's choice for top web influencer, Top 10 marketer by Forbes, Top 100 entrepreneur by United Nations, and creator of one of the 100 most brilliant companies by Entrepreneur Magazine. He is also the founder of Crazy Egg and Hello Bar.Neil is an entrepreneur at heart and his present successes are a credit to all the work he puts into ensuring his business ventures turn out well. Born in London, England, Neil's family moved to Orange County at a young age. Growing up in California, he was surrounded by entrepreneurs who influenced him greatly and fortified his mental drive to be successful. Inspired by the Monster.com business model, Neil created his first website, Advice Monkey, at the age of 16 after saving up money from working at an amusement park. He paid several marketing firms to assist with growing the business but ended up getting ripped off. Out of frustration and with no money left, he had no choice but to learn marketing. Hence, he went to college before the age of 18 to learn digital marketing to fit his “do-it-yourself style”. Today his mission is to help companies grow their businesses using innovative marketing strategies. His client list includes brands like Amazon, Google, NBC, and Viacom.Listen in as they discuss:Neil's journey into real estate and the achievements he enjoys today.Creating excellent content for digital marketing. The importance of SEO in digital marketing. How to convert your small or medium-sized company into a brand that delivers the best ROI. How to manipulate your SEO to ensure you rank well on internet searches.Understanding your target audience and where you make the most money, then create content that takes advantage of this.Learning the importance of updating your digital content to maximize traffic flow to specific sites. Spending time to understand what methods and digital marketing platforms work best for your company. And, more!Real estate is one of the only investments where you always make money if you fast forward.~Neil PatelTIP OF THE WEEKMark: My tip of the week is the best because my tip is a tip to keep us giving every single day, just go to neilpatel.com, and it's going to solve literally all your marketing problems.Scott: Go get the book Hustle on Amazon, learn how to Hustle: The Power to Charge Your Life with Money, Meaning, and Momentum by Neil Patel.Neil: I want you guys to do one thing, everyone has competition, go look at your competition—you can either Google for them and you can see what they're doing with their website and study it— or you can use tools like Ubersuggest, or you can use paid tools like Moss. Input competitor URLs in there and login where data falls. They will tell you how much traffic they're getting, what keywords they're ranking for, it will give you an idea of their marketing strategy and I think that's a great place to start because there's so much potential in Real Estate. Especially in Real Estate Marketing Online. There are so many businesses like yours that do really well, but you're not as big as Zillow, yet you're still doing well and that's okay. Most of us, 99.9% of us aren't as big as Zillow, but yet, there are still opportunities for us. What's cool about this is, if you look at what your competition is doing it will give you a leg-up because all of these marketing changes that we talked about today give a small guy an opportunity to compete with a big guy, without having to spend tons of money.Isn't it time to create passive income so you can work where you want, when you want, and with whomever you want?

Sponsor Before I jump into this episode, I wanted to take a second to thank my sponsors at Bean Bundle, Canada's newest coffee subscription. Before I geared up for this interview I used my french press using beans they sent me from one of the dopest roasters from across the country. Bean Bundle makes it so easy for people like me who drink tonnes of coffee every single day but love to try beans from different roasters. The process is pretty simple...you just visit beanbundle.com , choose how much coffee you want on a monthly basis, medium or dark roast and they ship you different beans from the latest roasters on a monthly basis. Best part is if you live in Canada they ship to you absolutely free and if you sign up using the code BUNDLE10 you'll save 10% your subscription. Now pour yourself a cup of coffee and enjoy this week's episode.
In the world of digital marketing, traffic gets a lot of attention. Small business owners understand that without visitors to your site, it's unlikely you're going to be able to grow or sustain their businesses. I'd argue that the focus on traffic isn't helpful unless it's paired with a focus on conversion. After all, you might be able to attract thousands of visitors a month – but if none of those people are buying from you, what's the point? You're paying for traffic without getting any real return on your investment. With that in mind, here are some of the most useful tools I know to help you boost your conversion rate and turn your traffic into revenue. Content Research Tools A high conversion rate starts with great content. If you're not sure what content gets the most traction, then these tools can help you find out. BuzzSumo – BuzzSumo is one of the best tools I know for figuring out what kind of content to post. You can entire a keyword and get a display with links to the most linked and shared content related to your search term. You can then dig in to explore what makes the content shareable. You can get a free trial. After that, the plans start at $99 per month. That might seem like a lot, but there's no minimum subscription period. Similar Web – Which sites are most like yours – and where is their traffic coming from? If you want to know the answers to both questions, you should try Similar Web. Similar Web will tell you which of your keywords is generating the most traffic and give you ideas about where to post and share your content online to increase conversions. They offer a free plan and a paid plan, which is based on volume. You can contact them for pricing. Land-Book – One of the keys to a high conversion rate is a great landing page – but how do you know if your landing page is getting the job done? I recommend Land-Book.Land-Book is a free collection of some of the web's most successful and effective landing pages. It's a great resource if you're not sure where to start with your landing page. Really Good Emails – Do you want to improve the conversion rate of your emails? Really Good Emails does for marketing emails what Land-Book does for landing pages. Browse their huge, free collection of effective marketing emails and use them for inspiration. This is an especially helpful resource if you're new to writing emails and want to up your game. Tools to Capture Leads The next category is a series of tools that will help you capture leads once you've enticed a visitor to your website. HubSpot is a free lead-capturing tool. Its primary feature is an exit intent popup, which is proven to be one of the best-known ways to capture leads. What I really like about HubSpot is that it combines lead capturing with detailed metrics to help you understand the user experience on your website –which can, in turn, help you to increase conversions. Sumo is a suite of tools that you can use to create action-triggered popups that include a Welcome Mat popup, a scroll-triggered popup, and a Smart Bar to help you attract more email subscribers.Their free version is probably enough for most small businesses, but if you want even more analytical tools, you should consider their premium option, which comes in at $49 per month. HelloBar is another tool you can use to capture leads. They have a free plan with limited options that you can use to display a popup opt-in form to every 10th visitor on your site.Their paid plans range from $29 to $49 per month and offer an array of additional features that can help you transform your website into a lead-generating machine. Heat Mapping & Mouse Tracking Tools A visitor's behavior on your site can provide a lot of information about why your conversion rate isn't as high as you want it to be. Here are some tools that can give you the data you need. Clicky offers free and paid plans that will give you detailed information about how long visitors stay on your si...
Welcome to this week's Friday jam session. I'm so happy you're here. This is always one of my week's highlights, and I love spending time with some awesome people and answering some great questions. If you'd like to join in on the fun each week head over to takeactioncrew.com, it's totally free, and we get together every Friday at 10 am Eastern, where I answer your questions about your business. Today we're going to be talking all about how to use your Pinterest traffic to build out your email list. Now it's time to sit, back, relax, and lets officially kick off this week's jam session! Can You Drive Pinterest Traffic to Build Your Email List Yes, it's definitely possible to build out your email list using Pinterest traffic. However, it's important to make sure that you're creating the right type of content that targets the right people you want to bring to your website. Today I'm going to answer this question in detail and go over what it looks like with a few examples. Let's dive right into Pinterest and learn how to make it happen! When you create a piece of content to put on Pinterest or your website, you always want to make sure that it's specific to the person who is visiting your site or searching for topics related to that content. The Power of a Good Lead Magnet When you're ready to create a lead magnet to help drive traffic to your website and encourage people to sign up for your mailing list, always make sure that it's relevant and fulfills a need for someone visiting your website. Think about what type of problem they might be facing if they click on your Pin on Pinterest and go to your site. What type of content can you create to help solve that problem? The goal of using Pinterest is to create assets that people can save to their own boards to reference later and share with others. When someone clicks on the pin, it takes them a specific webpage on your site related to the topic described on the pin. When someone gets to your site from Pinterest, a pop-up, or signup where they can get a freebie that will help them solve their problem is a great way to capture their interest. You're giving them something of value, and in exchange, they're giving you their email address. This makes them feel like it's a good trade instead of just asking them to sign up for an email list without giving them anything upfront. Note: Always make sure to confirm that a visitor wants to receive the freebies and include the word "yes" to make sure they know what they are agreeing to. Avoid Generic Opt-In Forms Honestly, no one wants to sign up to be on a mailing list without incentive. If you just ask someone to sign up for your list without anything in return, they won't know what to expect, and chances are they won't sign up. They want a specific piece of content that will quickly help them solve a problem quickly. Consider creating a lead magnet that piques a person's interest and encourages them to signup for your mailing list to get the piece of content. An opt-in form is a great way to show visitors what they are getting. Make it well worth their time and give them something they can actually use. Avoid making people have to go through extra steps to give you their information. Keep in mind, the more barriers you create, the less likely they will stick around long enough to sign up. Like I mentioned earlier, always make sure the opt-in is tailored for your specific audience. The problem you're helping to solve on Pinterest should be similar to the content you're offering on your website. Note: Never ask for a person's last name. For an opt-in form, you just need a person's email address and first name. Think Outside the Box I recommend avoiding using the words subscribe to your opt-in forms. Instead, just say something like "get your free guide" and include a similar phrase such as "yes I want my free guide" at the bottom of the form. Make sure it's easy to read, simple, and the fonts and colors aren't overwhelming and detract from the content you're offering to visitors. If you're driving traffic to your site, you should always have either an opt-in form on your sidebar or header (using Hello Bar plugin), a pop-up, or embed the opt-in within the content. Drive visitors directly to your blog instead of an opt-in form so they can have access to all the resources you have to offer. A Final Note From Scott I hope you found this Friday, Jam session to be helpful! You can definitely build an email list on Pinterest, but it shouldn't be your main focus. Instead, I recommend always driving visitors to your blog instead of directly to an opt-in form so they can have access to all the other resources that you have to offer. As a reminder, if you ever want to attend one of our live Friday jam sessions, head over to takeactioncrew.com to join us. We'd love to have you. Thank you for listening. I enjoyed having you here! Remember, I'm here for you, I believe in you, and I'm rooting for you! Now it's time for you to take action and go rock your brand! Takeaways From This Episode 1. Can You Drive Pinterest Traffic to Build Your Email List (1:35) 2. The Power of a Good Lead Magnet (4:45) 3. Avoid Generic Opt-In Forms (13:45) 4. Think Outside the Box (17:10) Quote: Drive visitors directly to your blog instead of an opt-in form so they can have access to all the resources you have to offer. Or When you're ready to create a lead magnet to help drive traffic to your website and encourage people to sign up for your mailing list, always make sure that it's relevant and fulfills a need for someone visiting your website

Digital marketing is changing at an increasing pace. What generated leads for your business 6 months ago, might not even be relevant today. What content worked on Facebook last week, might be barely getting seen today. While as a business owner, you shouldn't necessarily be doing everything when it comes to marketing, you also can't have your head in the sand. If your team aren't up to date with the latest marketing strategies you're probably wasting a substantial amount of time and money. One of the people at the forefront of all things digital, is Neil Patel, co-founder of Crazy Egg, Hello Bar and KISSmetrics, so I was incredibly happy to chat to him on my podcast recently. Neil's blog alone ammasses an impressive 1 million visitors each month, The Wall St Journal listed him as one of the top 10 most influential people on the web. What I absolutely love about Neil is that he gets straight to the point. No small talk or fluff in this episode just pure marketing gold that you and your team can implement into your business, and see results. Here's a quick run down of what you'll learn from this episode: 3 little know, yet highly effective, growth marketing tactics that the world's most effective businesses use to generate traffic and sales The one piece of marketing advice from experts you and your team should stop following immediately How involved you as a leader should be in marketing, and when you need to let your team take the lead 3 budget-wasting marketing mistakes business owners make (and what you should be doing instead)
In today's episode, we're talking to Neil Patel, the co-founder of Crazy Egg, Hello Bar, and KISSmetrics. Neil is a prolific digital marketer by anyone he's ever worked with - and throughout his career, he's helped companies like Amazon, NBC, GM, and Viacom grow their revenue through his digital marketing consulting.
While exit pops, lead magnets, page takeovers are not necessarily new, I love the approach that Lindsey and her team at Hello Bar take to improve online conversions. I met Lindsey through a good friend of mine and was immediately impressed with her approach. She's strategic in her use of conversion tools. Many merchants just sort of throw tools together and hope that something works. Anyone who's listened to this podcast for any length of time knows that I'm a huge fan of good data and letting data speak. Lindsey takes a data driven approach to creating better use of conversion tools and lead magnets. Here's a quick look at what we dive into on this call: Why customers actually prefer page takeovers to other exit pops (and the numbers back it up) Headline tips from marketing masters and why your current headlines might suck How Neil Patel gets more conversions on his properties Headline formulas to get more clicks, signups and sales Lead magnet ideas that drive conversion vs. lead magnets that lead to eye rolls. He was left with no choice but to learn marketing, and he eventually got good at it. Neil never planned on doing marketing for other companies until he met his co-founder Mike Kamo. We've all heard people talk about “hustle”, the drive that keeps you going even when you're having to do the nitty gritty work that doesn't thrill you. It's an important part of any entrepreneur's toolbox. My guest this week has a serious amount of hustle and an equal amount of passion for what he's doing. Neil Patel is the co-founder of marketing software programs including KISSmetrics and Crazy Egg, as well as the co-author of a new book, Hustle: The Power to Charge Your Life with Money, Meaning, and Momentum. Neil's talking with me about one of the biggest questions we all face: what exactly is my passion? He's giving me some tips on how to find the things that you're actually excited about and let go of the things you only think you're excited about. We're also digging into working backwards to achieve your goals, what to do with feedback and criticism, and focusing on quality content to drive up traffic. Neil is a highly successful entrepreneur as well as a marketing genius, I'm thrilled he's here to share his expert knowledge--you'll want to take advantage of his advice. Bravery in Business Quote “You're going to make mistakes as an entrepreneur. But if you can avoid making those same mistakes over and over again, you'll increase your chance at succeeding.” - Neil Patel (click to tweet) Cliff Notes The internet is becoming more personalized. Now, it knows your location what you and your friends like and tries to show you information based on that. Neil thinks it's going to become even more extreme in the future and make faster connections in terms of marketing. Co-market with people who already have a good audience for your product. Look for people with established followings that would also be interested in your work, and joint venture with them on a project. It can feel like the middle class is disappearing and like there is no way to success if you weren't born wealthy, but this isn't true. People need to start looking for nontraditional ways to the top, since the traditional methods are no longer working. Work backwards. Think of your goal, and then write down what you need to do to get to that goal. Then, just try to spend 10 minutes on one of the steps. After 10 minutes, evaluate if what you're doing is helping you get closer to the goal or not. You're going to make a lot of mistakes as an entrepreneur. When you realize you've made a mistake, sit down and think about why it happened. Learn from what you did so that you don't make the same mistake over again. When people tell you know, or criticize you after a failure, choose to listen to their feedback. You don't have to follow their advice or internalize the criticisms, but listen to it and evaluate it as you keep pushing forward. If you're not passionate about what you're doing, don't do it. Only do things that you're really passionate about right now, because once you lose the spark, it's really hard to reignite it. Try different things. Sometimes, we don't know what we're actually passionate about. Start something, and if you don't love it, stop it and start something else. What you love now is not always what you thought it would be ten years ago. Focus on quality over quantity. Create the best content, not just a lot of it, and then work on getting people to come to your site. Spend more time marketing than creating content. If your content is really good, it's more likely that clients and visitors to your site will quote and link to it to share the content. This kind of marketing is much more effective than self-promotion. Kristin is giving away 5 copies of his book. “I would say that with passion, the biggest problem that people face is actually not knowing what they're passionate about.” - Neil Patel (click to tweet) Resources HustleGeneration.com NeilPatel.com CrazyEgg.com KissMetrics.com HelloBar.com Listen at: intrepidentrepreneur.net/neil-patel

So first off, you will notice a few things about this episode. We didn't have a super amount of time on the clock so we needed to be efficient. But in the effort of saving time, I completely neglected the first rule of interviewing. Or at least my types of interviews. I asked him questions from the head rather than from the heart. If you have no idea what I mean, once you hear the episode you will understand. Actually, this is probably a good example of what NOT to do with a podcast with a key influencer in the industry, but nonetheless, I want to be transparent and show you. No one is perfect. But actually, listening to it a second time, it's actually pretty valuable information. Neil talks about the 2 channels he would utilize if he was starting over today. Neil also tells us how we can start executing faster and faster Neil breaks down his philosophy with hacking systems and life in general and much more! All the cool stuff you're going to get inside of Clickfunnels because of this month's hack-a-thon. On today's episode Russell talks with a special guest, Steven Esketzis, who is here all the way from Australia for the hack-a-thon. Here are a few fun things you'll here in this episode: What kinds of things are happening with the hack-a-thon. And some cool things that have changed with Clickfunnels. So listen below to find out how Steven feels about the hack-a-thon and the Clickfunnels changes. ---Transcript--- Russell Brunson: Hey everyone, this is Russell Brunson. Steven Esketzis: And this is Steven Esketzis. Russell: And we are here in an exciting Marketing in Your Car. Russell: Hey everyone, so we have been in the middle of a hack-a-thon as you guys know. I've done some podcasts on the way home. I'm here today because one of our newest additions to Click Funnels, we flew him here from Australia and he's been hanging out for his first hack-a-thon. I want to get in his own words what it's been like to be on the inside. Do you want to tell everyone what it's been like? Steven: Yes, it's been pretty crazy. I flew up 32 hours to meet these guys and I don't know what I was getting myself into but I got here in the end I think with four different airplane flights, went through five airports but I got here at midnight. First day was awesome. We're just smashing our work. Russell introduced me to the team. I met Dillon, Winter, Todd, Ryan – absolutely awesome team, finally get to see how Click Funnels has been so successful. It's been awesome to work with everyone, and we've been smashing it. We've been hustling it out till four AM every night and really putting the hard hours in. I think you guys are going to be really pumped to see what's going to come out in the next few weeks. We got some really cool things planned. Russell: Awesome. Talk about day two, what happened because we had a special guest come hang out with us. Steven: Yes, that's right. On day two, we had Mr. Neil Patell join us. I'm sure you guys are familiar with Neil with KISSmetrics and Crazy Egg, and Hello Bar, and I think there are a few other companies he's founded with Quick Sprout and whatnot but oh gosh, I don't know where we're going. Russell: We're off-roading it. Steven: Off-roading in a new car – only Russell would do this. Anyway, Neil came down and he shared some epic, epic takeaways with us from what he's doing in his own companies, how we can grow our company. Yes, he's been killing it on the content marketing side. He just dropped absolutely golden nuggets. Hopefully you guys are going to see the awesome blog posts come and see some of the value that's going to come onto the blog side of things as well. Russell: Yes, it's going to be awesome. Steven joined the team to help us with all the content stuff so we thought we should hire the man Neil Patel to come in and coach us on that so that we could do it right. It was good. I think we were going in a good direction but he helped steer us, “This is the perfect way to do it.” It's been fun to see what you're able to do with this as your baby in the company now, some exciting stuff. The last five minutes before we just jumped in the car, basically Dillon got excited and wanted to launch everything he's been working on for the last year, all in one month. We filmed a video. You guys will probably see it on Facebook or through email or somewhere. We are basically launching pretty much everything, all the rest of the stuff in August. That means first off, there's a brand new UI that's amazing. It looks like a whole new company. It's simpler. It's stripped out, all this kind of stuff. It's awesome, a new homepage, the new site which I spent the whole week building which I think I'm proud of it. Steven: Yes, it's pretty good. Russell: I'm not going to lie. That's kind of cool. Then we've got Backpack is going live so everyone will have the affiliate program inside their accounts here in August. The dream car contest is going live so you can win the Corvette I'm driving in or whatever car you want. Actionetics which I thought was going to be another two months before it's coming out is now happening this month, and we got accounts yesterday. It's nuts. Steven: It's crazy. People are going to be blown away. Russell: Yes, I feel bad for every other auto responder company on planet earth literally. Yes, it's amazing. Imagine editing emails in the Click Funnels email editor. Steven: Oh, I've never seen anything like it. It's actually like – I don't want to swear but it is absolutely amazing. To do something so easily, I personally was telling Russell this earlier, about half an hour ago. I hate emails. I hate making them, I hate sending them but as soon as I logged into this, it was pretty amazing. It felt like I was at home. It felt like I was finally able to just dive deep in and everything was just done for me the way I like it. I think you can't get much better than that. I think you guys are going to have a lot of fun creating emails, the same way that when you first jumped into Click Funnels and you started playing around with funnels, and you were just locked in there for three hours and you didn't come out of your bedroom or you didn't see your kids, or you didn't see your wife and you got yelled at, you would be the same with your email editor. It's going to be a rollercoaster ride. I can't wait to see it come out. Russell: Anyway, you guys are going to love it. We just wanted to give you a quick update because the end of the hack-a-thon is here. It's like two or three or four in the morning, dropping Steven off at the hotel and just wanted to say hey to everybody. He has been listening to Marketing in Your Car since day one, and now he's on officially Marketing in Your Car which is exciting. So I appreciate you guys, thanks for listening. Thank you for being here. Steven: Thank you for listening guys and it's been awesome, thanks Russell. Russell: All right, we'll talk to you guys soon.
