Fitness Marketing Mastery
What Do You Consider in How Much Do You Charge (series) Part 3

Fitness Marketing Mastery

How much do you charge? How much are you? My first question is, How did you interpret that question?  Because you could think I'm going to dive into how to set your fees… and I am. You might have had this question come up with a client and wonder, how do I answer that question. I'm going to answer that too.  You also could be asked this about something you've never even considered, like …  How much would you charge for a presentation ? What are your speaking fees?  How much would you charge to create a series of videos for our membership? Or organization or to provide the movement breaks at our corporate event?  If you haven't thought about your response to any of these questions, or you really wonder how to set your fee structure when you're starting or want to raise your rates, then this is for you.    I'm going to cover each of these in a little series because the two most popular workshops I've hosted in my career:  Offer Creation lab  Coaching Hotties: The HOW-TO for menopause fitness coaches & trainers  And within minutes, when I conduct a Business Better audit with our new Menopause Fitness Specialists, a couple things become clear. Many of us do not know where our biggest profit comes from.  We are not creating products and setting fees in a way that puts us in a profitable position. So let's change that. You no longer need to believe that because you're in a service-oriented business, or that you love it, that you can't also make a profit and have a life you love.  That stops now, don't you think? Stay tuned for the How Much Do You Charge series.   Collaboration Opportunities Impacting How Much Do You Charge  They may say, “How much would you charge for creating a series of beginner videos for our site that we have access to.” They give you a description of what it is that they want.  What's your answer to that?  Listen to How Much Do You Charge Episode 3 to know what to do on collaboration opportunities!   Licensing and Use You're giving them the rights to use your materials on their site, giving you credit.  There is no licensing necessarily. They don't have to come back in 2 years to renew their license. You're just allowing them to use it.    Exclusivity You might say, “Would you prefer exclusivity? I'm creating these programs and videos exclusively for you.”  Mentioning “I won't be using the programs and videos on my site. These will be exclusive and no one else will use them. No one else will have the opportunity. No one else will see them except on your side.”  That's going to be a much higher price. Considering the time to design, create, shoot, edit, is greater.   Limited Licensing Agreement Or you allow them a licensing fee to use for X period of time.  They have to either renew it or have to discontinue use after the agreed period.    In any of these, when you're creating a brand, make sure that there's some kind of legal binding agreement, so it is written.  You should provide Clauses and Agreements that must be very clear on the details and both parties must sign. This now becomes a more expensive project. How much will it cost you to hire a lawyer for the documents? How much time will the process take? Or find a lawyer who can give you some templated formats, created and customized for you.   Value of Your Time and Effort in How Much Do You Charge If you're designing these programs, take the time to shoot and edit these videos. Consider the value of your time. If your time is worth $500 an hour, just an example, you also have to think, are there additional costs? If your team needs you to be doing something else entirely, you need to consider a contractor.  Consider the cost and time in doing the project yourself. Factor in the cost that would be incurred by you being away from your usual work. Or if you could create a product that would be making you passive income, then the cost of you doing this product or project may be extremely high.    So, there you have it. How much do you charge? From consumers, from collaborators, from corporations and businesses. I hope you now have an answer to those questions. I look forward to hearing your response to this. If you've listened, if this was helpful, and or if you've been in an instance where this has come up for you, share with me. So we'll provide you with an opportunity to see a sample of how you respond.   Other Episodes You Might Like:  Part 1 - Key Factors That Determine How Much Do You Charge Part 2 - Include Quality in How Much Do You Charge for a Potential Customer   Resources:  Join The Menopause Fitness Fix to know what you need before you workout again! Great time on the Podcast with Justin, your everyday humble down to earth Rock Star! Love this guy... Justin Biltonen blurs the lines between ‘what you see is what you get' and ‘still waters run deep.' Southern born and bred, Biltonen is a product of broken-in boots and 90s bests.Baptized by an adoration for country, rock, punk and hardcore, Justin went from singing in hometown worship groups to traveling the nation playing southern-fried rock n' roll. Fueled by uncompromising passion and a gypsy soul, Biltonen became a self proclaimed highway-runner. It was on those endless, late night drives that he conjured up the soundtrack from his youth-- a mixtape filled with Drive By Truckers, Waylon and Shooter Jennings, Brooks and Dunn, Shenandoah and countless others, which ultimately reignited his love of country music. Not long after, Justin proved that all roads really do lead to Nashville, TN. Immersing himself in Music City's one of a kind songwriting community, Biltonen continued to refine his craft and establish himself as a force within the industry. Eventually, Justin Biltonen became a name to know as the bassist for alt-rock tastemakers 3 Doors Down. Touring globally as a member of one of the genre's most timeless bands, Justin was able to support numerous chart topping albums, including Us And The Night, which peaked at #2 on Billboard's Rock Chart. A career changing moment for Justin Biltonen, Us And The Night was the first major release he both wrote and played on in-studio. Having earned the courage and credentials, Justin began indulging his longtime love of country music and officially announced his solo project with the singles “Use You” and “How A Man's Made.” Biltonen marked his terrestrial radio debut with the follow-up single “She's Got the Highway”, which he credits with solidifying his stance as a member of the country music community. From playing bars and basements to global tours and the Presidential Inauguration, the North Carolina native owes his success to nothing more than his sincere, unwavering respect for music.“Whether I'm doing my own thing or touring with the band, thriving through the ups and downs in the name of the music is always going to matter more than anything else.” Humbled by his own experience, Justin is currently celebrating the release of his single “Forever Tonight” as well as “Someday Cowgirl” and “Working Thang” Having already achieved career milestones across streaming platforms and country radio alike, “Heartache Rodeo” has been featured in the film “Shelter In Solitude” as well as upcoming documentaries. .

On this episode of Roger The Wild Child Show: Nashville, we are joined by country music singer/songwriter Justin Biltonen (bassist for 3 Doors Down)!JUSTIN BILTONEN Justin Biltonen is a Country Artist and Singer Songwriter from Arden, North Carolina. Growing up in the heyday of classic 90's Country sparked his passion for music. Like many artists, he started playing guitar and singing in church worship groups in high school, however in 2004, fired by rebellious excitement, he began touring the country playing southern fried Rock n' Roll. During those late night van drives, that wandered endlessly down lonesome highways, he reignited his passion for Country music. It was bands like Drive By Truckers, Waylon and Shooter Jennings, Brooks and Dunn, Shenandoah and countless other Country artists (all conjured from the soundtrack of his youth), that kept him company on those long drives. It was also during this time Justin began frequent trips to Nashville, Tennessee and fell in love with the music and positive atmosphere within the city's music community. Learning the ways of Nashville songwriting began an inspiring journey into the professional music world. In 2013 Justin made the move to Nashville and joined the band 3 Doors Down as the bands bass player and began touring the world in support of numerous chart topping albums. The band's latest release titled “Us And The Night”, which peaked at #2 on the Billboard Rock Charts, was the firstmajor release Justin wrote and performed on.In 2018 encouraged by friends, family and fellow songwriters, Justin debuted two songs under his own name. The first two songs “Use You” and “How A Man's Made” mark a brave chapter in Justin's musical journey. Driven by a creative calling to make music, Justin quickly released a follow up single in October of the same year. His third single titled “She's Got The Highway” was released on digital platforms and for the first time, several terrestrial radio markets. With two more singles set to be released, numerous live appearances at Broadway honky-tonks and beyond and a rapidly growing fanbase, 2019 is shaping up to be a breakout year for the young Country artist. ******Roger the Wild Child Show: Nashville is streamed live every Sunday night 8pm ET/ 5pm PT on Facebook, YouTube and Twitter. (Bilingual) このメッセージではキャサリン牧師が神様がそのように今も癒してくれるのかについて以下の3つのポイントから話します。 In this message Ps Catherine talks about how God can heal today in these 3 points: (John 16:7 ESV) Nevertheless, I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you. (John 14:12-16) “I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father. (13) You can ask for anything in my name, and I will do it, so that the Son can bring glory to the Father. (14) Yes, ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it! (15) “If you love me, obey my commandments. (16) And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate,[b] who will never leave you. Two Answers to Encourage You: あなたを励ますための2つの答え 1. Yes God Heals Today and He Wants to Heal You 今日も神様は癒す神様であり、あなたを癒したいと願っている 2. God Wants to Use You to See Healing Come to Others 他の人が癒しを体験できるように神様はあなたを用いたい (Acts 3:1-10 NIV) One day Peter and John were going up to the temple at the time of prayer—at three in the afternoon. (2) Now a man who was lame from birth was being carried to the temple gate called Beautiful, where he was put every day to beg from those going into the temple courts. (3) When he saw Peter and John about to enter, he asked them for money. (4) Peter looked straight at him, as did John. Then Peter said, “Look at us!” (5) So the man gave them his attention, expecting to get something from them. (6) Then Peter said, “Silver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk.” (7) Taking him by the right hand, he helped him up, and instantly the man's feet and ankles became strong. (8) He jumped to his feet and began to walk. Then he went with them into the temple courts, walking and jumping, and praising God. (9) When all the people saw him walking and praising God, (10) they recognized him as the same man who used to sit begging at the temple gate called Beautiful, and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him. See the Opportunity 機会を見つける Realize the Treasure You have to Give 人に与えることができる自分にある宝に気付く God heals 神様は癒してくれる

As you might already know, mindfulness is a way to be in the present and only the present. You focus on what you are doing or thinking at this moment, without worrying about the future or dwelling on the past. Mindfulness can be used for so many things, from helping you to lose weight, to re-gaining your focus on important work projects. It is really important for your mental and emotional health, as well as your physical health. One specific method of being more mindful is through meditation. The two things combine to allow you to be a happier, more fulfilled and more balanced person. Here are some things to know about mindfulness meditation.   What is Mindfulness Meditation? First of all, it can help to learn a little more about what mindfulness meditation is and how it can help you. The following information is going to give you more insight into what meditating in a mindful way means and of course the different ways it can help you.   You now know that mindfulness is a way of being, thinking, and living in the moment. If you are eating a meal, you are focused only on what you are eating, including the textures, flavors, and sensations. You aren't watching TV or thinking about your budget meeting. You only focus on your meal. This practice can also be used with meditation. Mindfulness is not easy to pick up right away, especially during a busy day when your negative thoughts and stressful situations creep up in your mind constantly. This is why you should start by also practicing meditation.   How to Start Meditating Instead of trying to stress yourself out with both mindfulness and meditation at the same time, start slow. Just start with basic meditating. Find yourself a quiet space where you can really focus on the meditation. This can be anywhere from your bedroom at night before bed to even the shower or when you are going for a walk. If you can do it at home where you can sit comfortably with your eyes closed, that can be helpful.   Start your meditation by focusing on your breathing and only thinking about the breathing. Focus on taking in each breath and letting it out. Think about your lungs, and not about your next meal or all the appointments you have next week. This simple act will help you to retrain your mind to think about just one thing, which is the essence of both meditation and mindfulness.   Using Mindfulness With Meditation Now that you have a good introduction to meditation, you can start using mindfulness. Once you get used to sitting quietly and trying to clear your mind of all those nagging thoughts and only think about your breathing, you can then start with the practice of mindfulness. This is when you are only concerned with the present moment. Once you have the breathing practice down, choose just one thought to focus on. Only one thing happening in this current moment. This is a good introduction into how mindfulness meditation works.   The Benefits of Mindfulness Meditation Before discussing more tips on mindfulness meditation, it helps to know why you should start this practice. There are actually many advantages to mindfulness meditation, from lowering your stress to helping with your mind's focus, memory, and concentration. Mindfulness meditation can also help your physical health, which is something many people are not fully aware of. Take a look at some of these benefits of mindfulness meditation.   Stress Reduction One of the top reasons people like mindfulness meditation is because it helps reduce their stress. When you start meditating and living in the present with mindfulness, you learn how to think about things differently. It isn't going to magically get rid of all those stressful situations and people in your life, but it helps you to deal with them better. You develop a healthy coping mechanism where you understand and appreciate things for what they are, and stop dwelling on how much worse they could be. It truly is remarkable how helpful this is for your overall stress and anxiety.   Improved Memory If you struggle with memory issues, this might be more to do with how much you are trying to keep track of in your mind. Memory issues are often linked to negative thoughts and overthinking. When you start the bad habit of overthinking, it tends to lead to over-analyzing things as well. This is only going to make everything more stressful and frustrating for you. If you can start mindfulness meditation, you will notice that you are focusing on one thing at a time, so your memory starts to improve as well.   Better Focus and Concentration Other cognitive functions can also be improved with meditation, including your focus and concentration. Once again, you are changing the way you think about things, developing positive attitudes like acceptance, appreciation and gratitude, patience, and nonjudgment. This in turn allows you to focus on one thing at a time, whatever is happening in the present, instead of trying to think about too many things at a time. With proper mindfulness and meditation, you are learning how to adapt to everything around you, let go of the negative emotions, and appreciate all of the positivity in your life. It is very fulfilling and improves your overall focus in the long run. This can help with work, school, and anything else you are trying to achieve.   Lower Blood Pressure As far as physical benefits, the first is lowering your blood pressure. This comes from a lot of the mental and emotional benefits, therefore lowering your blood pressure. Things like stress, anxiety, and lack of focus can overwhelm your mind, and actually have a negative effect on your body. When you start meditating and using mindfulness in your daily life, you will feel less stressed and overwhelmed, which can then cause your blood pressure to get a rest.   Weight Loss Don't forget about the benefits for eating and weight loss! Mindfulness isn't just done in a meditation session, but throughout the day. By living more in the present, you can also focus on what is good for your body, starting with mindful eating.   This is when you really think about your food choices and indulge in each meal, instead of being distracted and just grabbing any snack without thinking twice about it. Through mindful eating, you learn to notice the signs of actual hunger and not boredom or feeding your emotions. Over time, you will notice that it changes your eating habits and ultimately leads to weight loss.   Future Success Finally, all of these benefits can help you future. You become more successful by being less stressed and more focused on the task at hand. You stop trying to multi-task and become a unitasker, which really does wonders for you. All of these things you learn through mindfulness meditation are going to help you in the future.   How to Start Doing Mindfulness Meditation You have already have a brief introduction into what mindfulness meditation is and how it works, but let's go a little deeper into the practice. You will also learn some helpful method, tips, and tricks that can help you if you are new to meditation.   Where to Meditate As mentioned briefly in the previous section, you need to start by choosing the right place for your meditation. Schedule a time of the day when nobody else is home or when you have few distractions. Wait until the kids are at school or asleep, your significant other is otherwise engaged, and let the dogs outside for a bit. Every little distraction, from a knock on the door to a cell phone ringing is going to break you out of the meditation.   You only need about 15-20 minutes to start with. For now, try to choose a place in the house where you can sit quietly and close your eyes. Eventually, meditation can be anywhere you find it relaxing, from driving to work to going for a walk or hike. However, right now you want to practice with your eyes closed, so choose your bedroom, living room, or even on your patio if it is quiet and peaceful enough.   Sit in your location with your eyes close and in a relaxing position. It should be a position where you will not be fidgeting or moving around constantly. Keep your back straight and hands relaxed.   What to Focus On Once you have gotten into the right position, you can start with your mindfulness meditation. Traditional meditation calls for clearing your mind completely, so that is a good first step. Focus on your breathing first to clear your mind of all distractions, stressful situations, plans, and schedules. Put your to-do list away and watch your negative feelings and thoughts float away.   Once you are only thinking about your breathing, your mind is clear, and you can start the mindfulness portion.   This is when you are focusing on just one thing, one thought, one scenario. You are being mindful about the present, so it can be as simple as thinking about the act of meditation or a scent you smell in the air. What you focus on is not as important as the act of meditation to relax your body and mind.   Find a Singular Object It can also help to focus on a single object with your eyes opened or closed. If you want to close your eyes, get an object that is simple to hold in your hand. This can be anything that is small and easy to feel in your hands. You will close your eyes and hold this object, touching its details and curves, focusing on the sensations, shape, and size, and not on any other thoughts that try to creep in. You can also choose a visual object, such as focusing on a painting on the wall or placing an object right in front of you. Look at the colors, textures, and design of that object. What you are doing is training your mind to release all other thoughts and focus on one singular thing.   Be Patient Remember to always be patient. Both mindfulness and meditation will take practice and is not something you are going to pick up right away. People need time to get used to clearing their minds and having a singular focus. You have lived all these years trying to multi-task, do everything at once, think about every little thing that could go wrong, making plans and schedules and to-do lists. It takes time just to relax and be in the moment, so make sure you are patient with yourself.   Incorporate Essential Oils With Meditation As a final note, we want to discuss using essential oils in combination with meditation. This can be really helpful, especially for beginners. You are not only going to focus on the scents to help with mindfulness, but certain scents can actually help you relax even further.   Good Essential Oils to Use You can use any oils you want, but there are some that are good for relaxing and calming the mind. Here is a list of some essential oils to try out, and the reasons why they are so helpful.   Lavender One of the best and most relaxing essential oil scents to start with is lavender. Lavender is perfect for stress relief, lowering anxiety, and helping your mind and body to fully relax. You will feel calm with a scent that isn't too strong or overbearing.   Lemon You can also try lemon, which is especially good when you are doing the mindfulness meditation in the morning or when you want to be a little more alert. This is a fresh scent that also helps with improving your mood, reducing allergies, and improving your respiratory system.   Peppermint Peppermint is a bit of a stronger scent, but you can dilute it even more or put a little less into your oil diffuser. Peppermint is good for oral health, respiratory support, and better focus and concentration. Like lemon, it is also a great mood lifter.   Rose Rose is a light floral scent that will calm and relax your mind, while also helping your body to relax. This is good for beginners, and can easily be mixed with some of the other scents.   Resources: Eckhart Tolle – The Power of Now The Art of Effective Listening Organixx Article: Moving Meditation: A Meditation Practice for Those Who Just Can't Slow Down Organixx Article: 13 Powerful Proven Health Benefits of Meditation Organixx Article: 5 Reasons Behind Emotional Eating (& Tips on How to Eat Mindfully)

Scripture of the Day:    Romans 8:26 “In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. But that does not mean that all speaking in tongues IS prayer! Now, I have to explain that, right? Praise God! It is true, that when we pray in tongues in our own private prayer life, we are praying directly to God. That is true. But some people want to leave it right there. They limit what God can do through them by not allowing the Holy Spirit to use speaking in divers tongues to minister to OTHERS through THEM! For example, speaking in divers tongues is a means, as we have already shared in other sessions, where the Holy Spirit can speak THROUGH YOU, through another believer, in an unknown tongue to you, but it is a KNOWN tongue to the hearer. I gave a couple of examples of that in earlier sessions. Another example was a service a minister I know of told about this happening. He said there was a young Jewish boy who came to their service one night. He was in the Air Force and only had one friend and that was a young man who wanted to invite the Jewish boy to the service, but told him he did not want to offend him. He was Jewish and did not believe Jesus really was the Messiah. But he said, “You're my only friend, I'll go with you.” As the service got going, the pastor started to pray in tongues. There was usually someone who would stand up to interpret, but this night, nobody stood up to give the interpretation. After a minute or so, the pastor continued with the service. Afterwards, as the pastor was greeting people as they were leaving, the Jewish boy shook hands with the Pastor and asked him how he knew he was Jewish? The Pastor responded he did not know he was Jewish and then asked, “Why did you ask me that?” The Jewish boy said the pastor had spoken directly to him, in perfect Hebrew, and had even spoken the Jewish pronunciation of his name, including his middle name. The pastor was shocked!  So was this boys friend!   The pastor asked him what else had been said… The boy responded with, “You told me that Jesus was the true Messiah and that I was to believe in Him.” He then told the pastor that he had to go and think about this more… The next Sunday, that Jewish boy and his friend came back to church and the Jewish boy received Jesus as his Savior! Praise GOD!  Amen!  Don't shout me down when I'm preaching good! Praise God! Do not limit what God can do when He wants to use YOU!  If you are unwilling to yield yourself to the Holy Spirit and speak in other tongues, even in private, let alone in public, you limit God! Don't LIMIT GOD with your prayers!  Amen! Don't LIMIT GOD by not being willing to allow HIM to use YOU with supernatural prayer in divers tongues. I want to pray for you right now. I want to pray that you will be willing to allow God to USE YOU by speaking in unknown tongues. Praise God! Let's Pray! Featured Product Ageless Brain Delivers powerful natural compounds scientifically shown to grow new brain cells and BOOST memory power Rejuvenates and re-energizes your brain cells – and helps your brain stay YOUNG as you age Puts an end to brain fog… embarrassing senior moments… forgetfulness… trouble concentrating… and more! Promotes a calm, focused mind and balanced mood Supports healthy inflammation levels Made with organic herbal ingredients sourced from the Amazon rainforest   * * *   What is Mindfulness Meditation? First of all, it can help to learn a little more about what mindfulness meditation is and how it can help you. The following information is going to give you more insight into what meditating in a mindful way means and of course the different ways it can help you. You now know that mindfulness is a way of being, thinking, and living in the moment. If you are eating a meal, you are focused only on what you are eating, including the textures, flavors, and sensations. You aren’t watching TV or thinking about your budget meeting. There are actually many advantages to mindfulness meditation, from lowering your stress to helping with your mind’s focus, memory, and concentration. It isn’t going to magically get rid of all those stressful situations and people in your life, but it helps you to deal with them better. Weight Loss Don’t forget about the benefits for eating and weight loss! Mindfulness isn’t just done in a meditation session, but throughout the day. How to Start Doing Mindfulness Meditation You have already have a brief introduction into what mindfulness meditation is and how it works, but let’s go a little deeper into the practice. You will feel calm with a scent that isn’t too strong or overbearing. * * * Deeper Dive Resources   Eckhart Tolle – The Power of Now https://www.eckharttolle.com/power-of-now-excerpt/   The Art of Effective Listening https://www.forbes.com/sites/womensmedia/2012/11/09/10-steps-to-effective-listening/#ee7333138918   Organixx Article: Moving Meditation: A Meditation Practice for Those Who Just Can’t Slow Down https://organixx.com/moving-meditation/   Organixx Article: 13 Powerful Proven Health Benefits of Meditation https://organixx.com/health-benefits-of-meditation/   Organixx Article: 5 Reasons Behind Emotional Eating (& Tips on How to Eat Mindfully) https://organixx.com/emotional-eating/

### What do we mean when we say Offplay discussions? (00:30) When we say offplay discussions in this episode we mean instances where the players are discussing the events that happened in-play and what to do next but as players and not necessarily as their characters. There are two prevalent approaches to offplay discussions: In some gaming parties it totally OK to stop the action and go over everyone's equipment, spells list and abilities to decide on the best strategy and coordinate. In others, it is frowned upon because the party does not have the time to consult with each other and prepare the tactic. ### Reasons in favor of including offplay discussions (04:10) - Player motivation; some people just like to plan (see [Eran's post on players motivation](https://www.uptofourplayers.com/2017/06/planning-player-motivation-uk-games-expo-review-podcast/)) - Use "You can't talk amongst yourselves now. What do we mean when we say Offplay discussions? (00:30) When we say offplay discussions in this episode we mean instances where the players are discussing the events that happened in-play and what to do next but as players and not necessarily as their characters. There are two prevalent approaches to offplay discussions: In some gaming parties it totally OK to stop the action and go over everyone's equipment, spells list and abilities to decide on the best strategy and coordinate. In others, it is frowned upon because the party does not have the time to consult with each other and prepare the tactic. Reasons in favor of including offplay discussions (04:10) Player motivation; some people just like to plan (see Eran's post on players motivation) Use "You can't talk amongst yourselves now. You! What do you do? Act!"; to create confusion, doubt, and anxiety. Help to remove some of the out of character time that passed in the real world. Simulating experience: the players are portraying an experienced team. Part of the players' discussion makes up the knowledge gap between the players and the characters. Allow players more space to collaborate. Reasons against including offplay discussions (09:10) It can take ages (See our episode on Analysis paralysis) Pushing out of SOD - talking strategy with your friends is necessarily an OOC activity, pushing you out of your character's mindset and the immersion.
