In this powerful episode of the Preacher Boys Podcast, I sit down with Beth White, a survivor of a harrowing marriage defined by abuse, gaslighting, and spiritual manipulation. Beth courageously opens up about her ex-husband Justin White's shocking transformation after an ayahuasca trip, where he claimed he was no longer alive but instead inhabited by higher beings.Beth says that, at times, Justin said he was God; other times, he denied God's existence entirely. He alternated between claiming to be Jesus, an angel of light, or something else altogether. This dangerous delusion culminated in a horrifying act: Justin drugged Beth and their young children in an attempt to bring them into his twisted spiritual visions.Today, Justin calls himself "Justin Love" and claims to be a spiritual healer.Beth shares the dark truth about their marriage and the abuse she endured in this gripping conversation. Her bravery in recounting these events sheds light on the devastating impact of spiritual abuse and manipulation. This episode also revisits prior coverage of Fellowship Baptist Church in Michigan, including interviews with victims and former members, shedding light on a disturbing culture of abuse, cover-ups, and silencing.✖️✖️✖️✖️✖️✖️Support the Show: Patreon.com/PreacherBoys✖️✖️✖️If you or someone you know has experienced abuse, visit courage365.org/need-help✖️✖️✖️CONNECT WITH THE SHOW:preacherboyspodcast.comhttps://www.youtube.com/@PreacherBoyshttps://www.facebook.com/preacherboysdoc/https://twitter.com/preacherboysdochttps://www.instagram.com/preacherboyspodhttps://www.tiktok.com/@preacherboyspodTo connect with a community that shares the Preacher Boys Podcast's mission to expose abuse in the IFB, join the OFFICIAL Preacher Boys Facebook Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1403898676438188/✖️✖️✖️The content presented in this video is for informational and educational purposes only. On this episode of Roger The Wild Child Show: Nashville, we are joined by country music singer/songwriter Justin Biltonen (bassist for 3 Doors Down)!JUSTIN BILTONEN Justin Biltonen is a Country Artist and Singer Songwriter from Arden, North Carolina. Growing up in the heyday of classic 90's Country sparked his passion for music. Like many artists, he started playing guitar and singing in church worship groups in high school, however in 2004, fired by rebellious excitement, he began touring the country playing southern fried Rock n' Roll. During those late night van drives, that wandered endlessly down lonesome highways, he reignited his passion for Country music. It was bands like Drive By Truckers, Waylon and Shooter Jennings, Brooks and Dunn, Shenandoah and countless other Country artists (all conjured from the soundtrack of his youth), that kept him company on those long drives. It was also during this time Justin began frequent trips to Nashville, Tennessee and fell in love with the music and positive atmosphere within the city's music community. Learning the ways of Nashville songwriting began an inspiring journey into the professional music world. In 2013 Justin made the move to Nashville and joined the band 3 Doors Down as the bands bass player and began touring the world in support of numerous chart topping albums. The band's latest release titled “Us And The Night”, which peaked at #2 on the Billboard Rock Charts, was the firstmajor release Justin wrote and performed on.In 2018 encouraged by friends, family and fellow songwriters, Justin debuted two songs under his own name. The first two songs “Use You” and “How A Man's Made” mark a brave chapter in Justin's musical journey. Driven by a creative calling to make music, Justin quickly released a follow up single in October of the same year. His third single titled “She's Got The Highway” was released on digital platforms and for the first time, several terrestrial radio markets. With two more singles set to be released, numerous live appearances at Broadway honky-tonks and beyond and a rapidly growing fanbase, 2019 is shaping up to be a breakout year for the young Country artist. ******Roger the Wild Child Show: Nashville is streamed live every Sunday night 8pm ET/ 5pm PT on Facebook, YouTube and Twitter. Inspired by idols such as John Mayer, Rob Thomas, and John Rzeznik of the Goo Goo Dolls, Joe's sound is influenced by the alternative rock of the late '90s and early 2000s. Growing up in a music household, Joe has always been awed by the ability to create sounds with instruments. “Music is almost like a portal into another dimension. It takes me to another place where I'm not thinking about anything else but the song.” Haydel moved to Nashville in January of 2020 with nothing but a plan and ambition to fully commit to music. As Joe describes it “for me it's music or bust.” A year later, Joe inked his first pub deal with Wide Open Music, landed his first outside cut “Even Now” on artist, Chase Bryant, and his own opening slot on Aaron Lewis' Frayed At Both Ends tour. For Joe, no feeling can describe connecting with another person on a musical level. This is just the beginning for Joe, he is excited for what the future holds and cannot wait to share the new music he's been working on very soon.******Roger the Wild Child Show: Nashville is streamed live every Sunday night 8pm ET/ 5pm PT on Facebook, YouTube and Twitter. On this episode of Roger The Wild Child Show: Nashville, we are joined by singer/songwriter David Gideon and country music artist, Andrea Vasquez! Also, Callum Kerr returns as we discuss the weekly recap of Fox's new hit series, Monarch!DAVID GIDEONDavid Gideon is the kind of larger-than-life character you'd read about in a Jack Kerouac novel: adventure seeking, well traveled, and a little bit wild, with stories to tell and songs to sing.He mixes autobiography, tall tales, and old-school country twang on Lonesome Desert Strum. Recorded in Nashville and largely written in the American southwest, it's an album that establishes Gideon as one of the genre's unsung heroes. There are honky-tonk barn burners, campfire ballads, southern slow dances, and rootsy rave-ups, all glued together by a frontman who's every bit as colorful as the songs he writes.Born to artistic parents, Gideon grew up on the move, bouncing between Austin, Key West, and rural Tennessee during his early years. He spent his summers on the Farm — an infamous hippie commune, located more than an hour's drive from Nashville — where he was given his first access to a drum set. Originally trained in jazz and worldbeat percussion, he broadened his skillset to include guitar and songwriting, too. He eventually headed west, where he performed hundreds of shows, worked as a DJ in clubs, logged multiple years as a ranch hand in Northern California, and eventually settled in Billy the Kid's hometown — the rugged, remote town of Silver City, New Mexico — where he wrote many of the songs that would later fill Lonesome Desert Strum. ANDREA VASQUEZPowerhouse vocals and unstoppable attitude combine in the petite package that is Andrea Vasquez. The California native has blended her love of modern country and Latin-American roots to create a refreshing sound within the genre. Inspired by the likes of Carrie Underwood, Shania Twain, and The Chicks, Andrea has been crafting her unique sound since she was little. Born in L.A. to an extremely musical family, she started playing violin, piano and guitar at a young age which inspired her to also begin writing her own songs. A move back to California would become the catalyst to pursuing music. After finishing school, Andrea packed up for Nashville to realize her dream of a career in country music. In Nashville, she released her first single Sugar Coat It which surpassed 113k streams on Spotify and took Andrea on her first radio tour. From there, Andrea released serval other singles including Runnin' Wild, Bed You Made, Used To and Made Me Cry, which achieved major success on curated Spotify and Apple Music playlists, received praise from CMT by adding her music videos to their online playlist rotation and received praise from critically-acclaimed outlets including The Morning Hangover. With her undeniable stage presence and songs that match mainstream major quality, Andrea is establishing herself within country music as one to watch.******Roger the Wild Child Show: Nashville is streamed live every Sunday night 8pm ET/ 5pm PT on Facebook, YouTube and Twitter. Valdez has stated the record is “…deep and personal but a fun and wild ride”. While Saints And Sinners covers new territory across an already broad but expanding musical landscape, the sound is unmistakably, undeniably Ken Valdez. Being no stranger to the road, Valdez is back on tour including dates with the iconic ZZ Top and prestigious festivals like the Bayfront Blues Festival to name a few. There is no question, Ken Valdez is back! The outlaw rides again!BREI CARTER Emerging crossover country and southern pop recording artist Brei Carter is proof that sometimes faith, patience and time pays off. Growing up in Monroe, Louisiana with a solid, southern upbringing, Brei's family raised her on several authentic southern staples: the Bible, Lone Star Missionary Baptist Church's choir, Charley Pride, Loretta Lynn, Aretha Franklin, and no shortage of familial love and devotion. However, before she became the dynamic and vivacious country singer she is today, Brei was busy earning a Bachelors in Business from University of Louisiana in Monroe, a Masters in International Relations from Webster University, and a Doctorate in Theology from New Foundation Theological Seminary. She is also a proud Veteran of the U.S. Army, where she served as an enlisted soldier and as an officer. Having moved to Nashville soon thereafter, Brei has quickly established herself in the songwriters community as a smooth and sometimes edgy songstress who melds country, soul and southern pop into one fused style. Her first single at country radio “Gave Him A Girl” was immediately recognized as “cute and catchy” by country music journalist and historian Robert K. Oermann in his weekly DISClaimer review column for Music Row Magazine, where it eventually charted up to #71. With a growing catalog of new music, including her debut album 'Brand New Country,' slated for a September 16 release, this young singer-songwriter is a welcome addition to the emerging new styles of the country music community.******Roger the Wild Child Show: Nashville is streamed live every Sunday night 8pm ET/ 5pm PT on Facebook, YouTube and Twitter. On this episode of Roger the Wild Child Show: Nashville, we are joined by actor, Callum Kerr, of the new series on Fox "Monarch" and Nashville recording artist, KC Johns!CALLUM KERRCallum Kerr is an actor/musician originally from Edinburgh, Scotland. After moving to Texas at 17, Callum has been splitting his time between Austin and London until recently, when he moved to Nashville. You can see Callum in the upcoming country music series Monarch (Fox), where he'll play country music singer Wade Stellings. Callum is also currently working on releasing music here in Nashville.KC JOHNSWith powerhouse pipes that take you on a whiskey-soaked jaunt to your favorite honky-tonk in the absolute best way possible, KC Johns' music is as infectious and dynamic as she is. Think Miranda Lambert meets Sheryl Crow with a touch of Brandi Carlisle, and you've got an artist with a voice all her own, tied tight around songs that make you feel like you've known her forever. With deep roots in the Blues capital of the world, KC grew up in Memphis, where she was baptized in soul and fell hard for the stage, the spotlight, and songs that make the world go 'round.Having discovered her stage legs young, KC jumped feet-first into this business called music, performing everywhere from Dollywood, where she was featured in Dolly Parton's “Christmas Coat of Many Colors,” to cruise ships around the world. After performing in ports throughout the Atlantic, the Caribbean, and everywhere in between, she made her way up the mainstream music ladder, opening for artists like Luke Bryan, Chris Young, Randy Houser, and Trailer Choir.2022 was the continuation of her page-turner of a story, starting with the January release of a new single and video, “Confused,” co-written with Timme Angsten and Tim Baumgartner and produced by GRAMMY-nominated producer and songwriter Billy Smiley (WhiteHeart, Johnny Cash, and Petra). “Confused” follows her popular 2021 single release, “Whiskey Break,” which was featured in a nationally distributed documentary about the legendary venue, the Gorge, where nearly every major touring artist has played for the last 50 years. “Confused” made its way on to radio playlists in a growing list of markets across the country, cracked Nashville's Music Row charts and climbed well over 100 spots up the respected rungs of the influential industry ranking.2022 has already seen the digital release of KC's 2021 full album, Thunder, recorded at the legendary Sound Kitchen in Franklin, Tennessee. The digital release features three songs previously released only on the vinyl version of Thunder plus KC's brand-new recording of “Desperado,” best known for being recorded by legends Linda Ronstadt and the Eagles. The collection is a result of an artist who knows who she is, what she wants to say, and the best way to say it.KC Johns' new single release, “FAMOUS,” touches the heart of why she sings. For KC, this song immediately brought her fans to mind. This wasn't a song about romance for KC. It's about the passionate faces in the audience every night. It is an anthem to the people who show up, support, download, listen and love KC and her music. The song is KC's message to them – “You make me feel famous!”******Roger the Wild Child Show: Nashville is streamed live every Sunday night 8pm ET/ 5pm PT on Facebook, YouTube and Twitter. On this episode of Roger the Wild Child Show: Nashville, we are joined by musician, Wes Shipp and singer/songwriter, Noelle Tolland!WES SHIPPWes Shipp was born in Crystal River, Florida on August 3, 1992. Wes started his music career traveling the country and playing on various street corners. After struggling with drug addiction and being homeless for years, Wes decided that it was time to become serious about his music career. Wes was able to get clean from drugs and push forward. In 2019, Wes was discovered outside of a Wal-Mart in Little Rock, Arkansas where he was recorded playing Riley Green's song, “I Wish Grandpas Never Died.” After the individual recorded the video, he proceeded to upload it to Facebook. Overnight the video went viral and received over 400K views. It was then that Wes was noticed by people within the music industry.Wes released his first song in May 2021 called “My Old Man.” Wes wrote this heartfelt song about his dad, who ironically had a heart attack 4 days after it was written, but is thankfully doing well today. The song quickly grabbed the attention of many of his fans and after realizing the impact the song had on people Wes said, “This is only the beginning.”NOELLE TOLANDNashville based singer-songwriter Noelle Toland wants to modernize and personalize old-school country music. While many assume the genre's audience is limited exclusively to the South, Toland, who hails from 2,000-person town North Plains, Oregon is proof that that simply isn't true. “We tailgated, horsed around on farms, and loved the heartbreak behind the stories we grew up listening to," reflects Toland, who identifies wholeheartedly with the genre. By returning to her roots and revisiting the music of her youth, Toland created the unique alchemy that is the 2021 EP “The Sun Will Rise.” The four-song EP, recorded at the famed RCA Studios in Nashville, Tennessee, and produced by the talented Chris Condon, is a blend of 90's country and seductive soul music. It captures the earthiness and electricity of classic country music with staple instruments like pedal steel and contributions from legends like guitarist Steve Cropper, founding member of the Stax Records house band and Booker T. and the M.G.'s. Toland is over the moon to have such inspirational collaborators, whom she grew up listening to, and is grateful for the opportunity to make this 90's country influenced record, which is a tribute to beloved artists like Trisha Yearwood and Faith Hill. “Hopefully this record, which I've long envisioned, inspires people to take chances, be bold, and place bets on themselves,” she explains, “because that is the only thing that has gotten me through the ups and downs.” At a time when the world is in a constant state of fear, Toland's ease when it comes to surfing the wave of life is exactly what others need to hear.*******Roger the Wild Child Show: Nashville is streamed live every Sunday night 8pm ET/ 5pm PT on Facebook, YouTube and Twitter. On this episode of Roger the Wild Child Show, we are joined by singer/songwriters Justin Love and Bailey Marie!JUSTIN LOVEWith his clean, catchy, and country-driven melodies, indie country singer/songwriter Justin Love has a way of crafting the perfect mix of commercially driven sounds with melancholic lyrics, making him an on-the-rise contributor to country music's indie sub-culture.Love grew up as a youth pastor's son, learning to perform beside his family at their hometown church in Waco, Texas. He harmonized on worship songs alongside his sisters when he was as young as 5 years old, but he truly found his calling when he was 11. After earning an associate's degree in commercial music from McLennan Community College in Waco, Texas, Love intended to pursue a four-year degree from the University of North Texas; however, he was persuaded by his professors, who instructed him to go to Nashville.Shortly thereafter, he wrote his first country song, “Baby I Still Do,” and hasn't looked back. As a writer and multi-instrumentalist, Love continues to develop his craft by drawing from the musical influences of Blake Shelton, Keith Urban, Jessie Lee, Dan + Shay, Ryan Hurd.Being a part of country music's indie subculture, Love has successfully learned to thrive and differentiate himself within a melting pot of talent that spans across all genres. “You're trying so hard to not be background noise,” said Love. “You get on stage and you're trying your hardest to captivate an audience, but I've figured out that it's not about impressions – it's about impacts.” His third single “I WANNA” was released on July 16th 2020 and is said to be one of his game changing songs in both his music and his sound. It also won him judges pick in the Global Rising Song contest out of 23 songwriters with an outstanding score 915 of 1,000 points by judges votes. The song was written with his good time friend and phenomenal co-writer Troy Castellano.Despite the chaos of current situations with covid-19, Justin continues to write songs and perform all over Nashville at rounds as well as a few corporate events from time to time. His current single “Went Looking For Me” has already been a gold pick winner and runner up in a few songwriting contests, making him a go-to for co-writing, however he does not take all the credit. “My songs are only as amazing as the people I get to write with”, says Love to let others know it's an amazing team effort when he is in the room with his co-writers. He is currently in production for his next single “FEELS” which should be released in the spring of July of 2022..BAILEY MARIEBailey Marie is a singer, songwriter and actor from North Carolina. Bailey has performed multiple times at the legendary Apollo Theater in NYC as well as many venues across the country. You can recently see her as Marianne on Swagger on Apple TV+ and Ashley Zamperini in the Staircase on HBO max. She spends much of her time writing new songs and traveling back and forth from Nashville. Bailey recently released her original song “Beautifully Broken” and plans to release several more through out the year. Bailey enjoys performing the National Anthem as well for professional sports such as NASCAR, football, baseball, soccer and hockey. Bailey is also apart of the SOS Foundation.

THE ORIGIN OF THIS MUSIC:Created by Gibbs Williams It is hard to believe it has been decades since I graduated from Miami Beach Senior High School. It is even harder to believe that I received an invitation to attend the 65th reunion. Unfortunately, with the covid pandemic still in the air, although vaccinated, I thought it prudent better to pass up this event hoping conditions fare more salutary for the 70th. Although disappointed I would miss the reunion I was struck by a wave of pleasurable nostalgia. Recalling those the best of those glorious days I remember the feelings of the cool Miami Beach breezes enveloping us on our weekly Friday night dances in the patio of our high school. All who attended seemed hypnotized with feelings of a pervasive feeling of at-one-ment in which we collectively bathed in what was then and even now experienced as our own unique mixture of heroin- like- atmosphere. This natural high was experienced by many of us as nothing short of pure unadulterated nostalgia. Nostalgia then and now was like our living in a collective commune protecting us from what probably would have been experienced as overwhelming normal adolescent pain if we had been open to feeling it. I was especially nostalgic remembering my self and four other guys daring to form a small combo good enough to play at all of the school dances. We even played well enough that every New Years Eve a Miami Beach Hotel hired us to perform. Our Small combo consisted of Drums (Marvin Guccion), Bass (John Schaffer), Trombone (Peter Weill), Trumpet (Kenny Kupper) and Piano (Gibbs Williams). Unknowingly we had no knowledge that we were on the cutting edge of what would soon be an explosion of worldwide bands. In is in this memorable context that I wish to share an album of some of those unforgettable songs which best seem to celebrate the richness not only of those glorious days from the 9th to the 12th grade, but all the years that have too quickly passed - as well as the years that are yet to come. It is unfortunate that we never recorded our iconic sounds. The best I can offer with the goal in mind of capturing the sounds we made are my original arrangements made on my Yamaha synthesizer. The songs we played were standards from the forties and fifties. I have titled this compilation Nostalgia. "NOSTALGIA" - 65 th REUNION - MIAMI BEACH HIGH SCHOOL - CLASS of 55Album1 Moon Over Miami , Ebb Tide, Star Dust, It Might As Well Be Spring, Teguilla, The Hucklebuck, Five Foot Two, Somewhere Along the Way, Im In The Mood For Love, Again, Blue Moon, Miami Beach Rhumba, Because of You, Rock Around the Clock, Down By The Riverside, Tammy's In Love, Where Is Your Heart, Don't Blame Me, If I Loved You, I'll Take Manhattan, The Man I Love, A Secret Love, Autumn Leaves, Summer Time, Mona LIsa, Take the A Train, Album 2Perfidia, It's No Sin, It Had To Be You, For Me And My Gal, Thrill Me, You're Just In Love, Yellow Bird, Canadian Sunset, A Taste Of Honey, Too Young, Saint Louis Blues, My Foolish Heart, You Belong To Me, Sleepy Time Gal, Body and Soul, The Nearness Of You, Misty, Sweet Georgia Brown, Blue Skies, Tenderly, Some Enchanted Evening, Bali High, Bewitched, Once Upon A Time, As Time Time Goes By, Aways, Fight Song Of The Miami Beach Hight Marching Band A and B. I know all was not perfect then as we were all struggling to survive adolescence so those days were hardly always serene. Yet, there was, and still is for me and I imagine for many of my class mates, a certain undeniable 'specialness' about our class which for many of us still acts like a permanent magnet pulling us back again and again to re-unite. As for me, if we had been recognized as ground-breaking I am certain our lives at least vocationally would have taken a much different route. However, I can honestly say that I am happy to being a still practicing psychoanalyst in New York City - a happily married husband and father having started our own dynasty of four grandchildren.

Hey old friend!! Carrie St Louis is a rockstar AND an classically trained soprano. Carris is best known for her portrayal of ‘Glinda' in the Broadway and national touring company of Wicked, for her portrayal of ‘Sherrie' in the Broadway and Las Vegas companies of Rock of Ages, and as the closing Lauren in the Tony Award winning Best Musical, Kinky Boots. Dan and Carrie go WAAAAY back to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival back in their high school theater glory days. They've been circling each other for over a decade and then they auditioned together for the Anastasia national tour. Dan pooped his pants before he went into the audition room, but that's a story for another time. This was one of our most hilarious interviews. Along with Carrie being an absolute looney tune, she is insightful, introspective, thoughtful, and we loved chatting with her. After graduating from the Thornton School of Music at USC with a degree in Vocal Arts., she went on to play Amanda Bell in the world premiere of Justin Love at LA’s Celebration Theater, which received an LA Drama Critics Circle Nomination for Best Production. She then moved to Las Vegas to open Rock of Ages at The Venetian Hotel, for which she was awarded Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Musical by Broadway World Las Vegas. Carrie made her Broadway debut as Sherrie in Rock of Ages in 2014. Later that year, she went on the road as Glinda in the national tour of Wicked. In 2016, Carrie returned to Broadway, starring as Glinda at the Gershwin Theater, for which she was nominated for a Broadway.com Audience Choice Award for Best Female Replacement in a long running show. Her sold-out solo cabaret show in LA, Here I Go Again, received a Broadway World nomination for Best Female Cabaret in 2012. Her second solo show, Something Good, played to sold out crowds at New York’s iconic Feinstein’s/54 Below as well as cabaret clubs across the United States. Her third solo show, Always In The Ballpark, Usually In The Wrong Seat, is currently playing at 54 Below. In 2016, Carrie had the honor of performing "For Good" with her Wicked co-star, Jennifer DiNoia, for First Lady Michelle Obama at a United Nations event in New York City. She’s guested in concert with the band Foreigner, and she’s sung the National Anthem for the LA Dodgers, LA Lakers, Chicago Cubs, New York Mets, New York Islanders and the PAC-12 Tournament. In 2017, she starred Off-Broadway as Annette Hargrove in Cruel Intentions: The Musical, based on the cult-classic film, which received an Outer Critics Circle nomination for Best Off-Broadway Musical. In the Spring of 2018, Carrie joined the company of the 2013 Tony winner for Best Musical, Kinky Boots, as Lauren. She was the final Lauren when the show closed in 2019 after six incredible years on Broadway. Carrie has appeared in multiple television shows. She played Becca Mainzer on Elementary (CBS), working alongside Lucy Liu, Jonny Lee Miller, and Jon Michael Hall. She also appeared as Alice on the hit TV show Younger (TVLand) opposite Sutton Foster. This summer, she can be seen on Blindspot (NBC). Carrie just wrapped an indie film titled The Blonde Experiment, which should be released in the coming year. Carrie was set to begin rehearsals for a brand new Off-Broadway show directed by Jeff Calhoun and written by famous author, Jodi Piccoult, called Between The Lines. Set to open at Second Stage Theater this summer, it is currently postponed to Spring 2021 due to Covid-19. Carrie is also a vocal coach who travels often for masterclasses while also maintaining a private studio. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Kirsty Young's castaway is the interior designer, socialite and one-time cowboy, Nicky Haslam. His life defies easy description. In America in the 1960s, he was part of Andy Warhol's circle of friends. He got to know Wallis Simpson and the Duke of Windsor and met Cyd Charisse and President Kennedy; and after all that, he became a cowboy. When he returned to Britain he brought the sleek style of the States with him. When he is designing a room, he says, first he lets the room speak to him, then his client - then he gets the last word on how it should look.[Taken from the original programme material for this archive edition of Desert Island Discs]Favourite track: You're Just In Love from Call Me Madam by Ethel Merman & Dick Haymes Book: A Legacy by Sybille Bedford Luxury: A large 18th-century picture.
