Inside the fascinating world of apitherapy, I sat down with Kate Hinkens, bee venom therapist, educator, and the founder of Stinglab, to learn how she healed a debilitating condition with Bee Venom Therapy (BVT) and to explore bee venom's (apitoxin) healing properties as part of the body's regenerative cycle. People who have struggled with chronic illness can be so misunderstood, especially with Lyme disease that's like a “silent” illness. In this conversation, I'm going to share the mic with Brooke Geahan of the Heal Hive where she talks about bee venom therapy in curing Lyme disease and other chronic infections. Brooke contracted Lyme disease that had infiltrated her immune system and the use of antibiotics wasn't helpful at all. For three years, she tried to find a way through, and that included losing her job and her home. She basically went from being a fully independent woman who had a lot of dreams ahead of her to literally losing everything. Every protocol she tried just made her sicker and more bankrupt in every way – emotionally, financially, and spiritually. After a nurse who dealt with the same disease helped her out, she was able to walk within a week. Brooke dove into the science of bee venom, specifically, the actual mechanics of it and its health benefits, which eventually led to the creation of Heal Hive. In this episode, you will hear: Cultures where the bee venom therapy started and why it's not as popular in the U.S. How the bee venom works Best practices to prepare your body for the bee venom Why it's imperative to understand what's going on in people's systems Dealing with the trauma of chronic illness Other health benefits of bee venom therapy Creating a positive community of members Subscribe and Review Have you subscribed to our podcast? Today we have Jamie on the show! I reached out to Jamie and asked her if she'd be willing to talk about her story. I've been following along with her as she's been dealing with a chronic illness known as Lyme disease. You may have heard of it. It's been sort of an epidemic in our country for a long time. I have so many friends growing up being from New York and being in upstate New York that have suffered from Lyme. Jamie has been doing something called bee venom therapy (BVT) to help her with this. I was so fascinated by her story that I wanted her to come on and share. Outside of that, she's got a lot of synchronicities and a lot of magic that has occurred in her life. You'll hear her share about her own spiritual journey; how she went from being in toxic relationships to meeting the love of her life and the synchronicities around that and the karmic lessons that she'd learned from that. And then about this chronic illness that she has been going through and how she has been navigating the health system to help support herself through alternative medicine and finding what's been really helping her and working. So she is an inspiration to many and I am very excited to share this episode with you all! This conversation with Adriana Furey was exactly how I knew it would be... INSPIRING! Her story is incredible. Adriana was diagnosed with a chronic disease, and after Western medicine's solutions didn't work (they actually impacted her negatively) she pursued more natural healing modalities like Ayurveda medicine, which led her to find Bee Venom Therapy. She now has her own beehive and spreads the ancient wisdom of this healing practice, and has stepped into a role of service where she is able to help others overcome their limitations and step into their own power. I am so grateful she sat down and gave us a deeper view into her journey. Adriana is a true embodiment of perseverance and shows that when things may seem hopeless, there is always a way to become the master of your life. 1 year down, 2 to go! listen in to hear about all of the ups and downs this last year has brought me
Includes Bee Breath Practice. This week on DENtalks we are so excited to welcome Brooke Geahan to talk to us about bee venom therapy! If you’ve never heard of BVT, here’s your chance to hear all about it from the founder of The Heal Hive, the very first online bee venom therapy education platform. If you or someone you know suffers from an autoimmune disease or other chronic illness and has been unsuccessful with many medical and holistic treatments, you’ll definitely be interested in this episode! Brooke takes us through her journey of being diagnosed with Lyme disease and the many treatments she took to try and cure herself. It wasn’t until she had exhausted all her options and run out of money that a nurse told her about how she used bee venom to cure herself of Lyme. With the encouragement of her father, Brooke started the process and within one month of treatments, she was already seeing results, and within a year, she was almost fully recovered. But the healing didn’t stop there - we also talk about the emotional toll of having chronic illness and how a necessary part of the healing process comes from addressing the trauma of living with chronic pain. Brooke tells us how she had to change both her perspective and many of her lifestyle choices to become the person she is today. We learned so much from Brooke in this episode about bee venom therapy and the science behind it, and we hope you do too! At the end of episode Brooke will lead us in her personal practice - bee breath! Curious what that is? Stay tuned! We're bringing back our DENtalks LIVE events but this time virtually! Brooke Geahan went from running her own company to being bedridden for two years. Today she credits bee venom therapy with saving her life. Brooke's life was turned upside after being diagnosed with late-stage Lyme disease and the co-infections that came along with it. Those infections turned into life-threatening autoimmune diseases she battled alongside cancer. After spending over $150,000 of her life savings on Western medicine to no avail, she turned to bee venom therapy. Within a few weeks of treatment, she knew she found her answer. Today, Brooke has eradicated her Lyme disease and reversed every single reversible autoimmune disease she had. As a result of her journey, she is a big proponent of bee venom therapy and is the founder of The Heal Hive. In this episode, we talk about what bee venom therapy is, its ancient history, what being on the protocol is like, and the benefits that come with it. Enjoy! Joyce Braun is a 43-year-old woman from Ontario, Canada. She was bitten by a tick during a camping trip to a Lyme endemic area in 2015. After the camping trip, she developed severe neck pain. She visited a hospital emergency room and was dismissed by the doctor and accused of seeking drugs. The doctor recommended that she visit a chiropractor for her neck pain. Thereafter her symptoms progressed, and she began to suffer fatigue and chemical sensitivities. In 2018, a series of stressful life events overwhelmed her immune system and she lost the ability to get out of bed. After visiting 5 doctors over 6 years, she was diagnosed with Lyme disease through an IGenix blood test. The IGenix test also showed that she tested positive for a German strain of Lyme disease. The results were surprising because Joyce never traveled to Germany. Today, Joyce is treating with Bee Venom Therapy (BVT) and has seen early positive results. If you would like to know more about Joyce Braun managed her Lyme disease related fatigue and chemical sensitivities using Bee Venom Therapy, then tune in now!

Why You Should Listen: In this episode, you will learn about bee venom therapy and melittin in the treatment of Lyme disease. About My Guest: My guest for this episode is Ellie Lobel. Ellie Lobel graduated from a gifted children’s program at University College Kensington, London with a PhD in Nuclear Physics and a Bachelor’s in Engineering at the tender age of 18. She has contracted for some of the top Fortune 500 corporations. Ellie is a 15-year Lyme disease and Babesia sufferer. She moved to California to live out her last few months of life. In June 2011, Ellie was attacked by a swarm of killer bees which changed everything. Ellie healed herself with bee venom and went on to create the protocol for Bee Venom Therapy for Lyme disease after hundreds of hours of research and much trial and error. She is a true pioneer of BVT for Lyme and got the research at University of New Haven in Connecticut off the ground with Dr. Eva Sapi. Ellie now travels the country teaching and educating about Lyme disease and its many co-infections and Bee venom Therapy. Her Bee Bus Mission has been traveling since March of 2015. She has done this all by donations and has helped hundreds of Lyme sufferers to date. Key Takeaways: - How is bee benom therapy beneficial in Lyme disease? - What is melittin and what does it do in the body? - Does bee venom help with other microbial issues beyond Borrelia? - What did Dr. Eva Sapi's research recently show about BVT? - What is the BVT protocol for Lyme? - What should and should not be used in conjunction with BVT? - Do people have Herxheimer reactions with BVT and how are they mitigated? - Can BVT be used in conjunction with antibiotics? Deb was told by the hospital system her health plan covers that their Infectious Disease doctors do NOT treat Lyme Disease PERIOD. Deb has been active in Eugene and throughout the state of Oregon putting on events to bring greater awareness of Lyme disease. She became interested in Bee Venom Therapy, or Apitherapy and after learning about its many benefits, started practicing on herself with great results. Bee Venom has been used for 6,000 years to treat many conditions, and can kill 1,200 infectious agents, including parasites, bacteria, and viruses. The other cool thing about Bee Venom, especially for Lyme patients is it pokes holes in biofilms, which can give antibiotics, herbs, or your own immune system access to the bacteria. Deb promotes Apitherapy as a cheap and effective therapy for lyme disease, by itself or in conjunction with other therapies. She shares her experience with Bee Venom Therapy on the Facebook page "Apitherapy to treat Lyme & Co-infections Eugene OR” where she answers questions, posts bee articles,
