Thinking Above the Lower Mind with David Hanscom David Hanscom, M.D. is author of, Back in Control: A Surgeon's Roadmap Out of Chronic Pain and Do You Really Need Spine Surgery?: Take Control with a Spine Surgeon's Advice. She has a PhD in philosophy from New York University and taught at Brandeis University before launching her career as an independent writer and researcher. Colm A. Kelleher, Ph.D., is a biochemist with a fifteen-year research career in cell and molecular biology.
