“The Power Of Authentic Harmony” Join me and my guest Dr. Pauline Crawford (www.corporateheartinternational.com), CEO of The International University of Entreprenology. Pauline is celebrated for her groundbreaking work in creating Authentic Harmony Cultures and Emerging Leaders who integrate the concept of a Joint Custody World into their strategies for growth enterprises. Advocating for inclusivity and synergy between men and women in leadership and team dynamics, her experience-backed methodology and the Gender Dynamics Intelligence (GDI©) framework, she empowers individuals to navigate relationships and organizational dynamics with emotional intelligence and authenticity. Summary In this engaging conversation, Blaine and Dr. Pauline Crawford explore the concept of a 'joint custody world' where men and women share responsibility for the planet. They discuss the importance of authentic harmony cultures, the value of differences, and how understanding these differences can lead to better collaboration and communication. The conversation emphasizes the need for intergenerational wisdom and the role of vulnerability in fostering connections. Ultimately, they highlight the importance of creating a better future for the next generations. Takeaways We are all interacting with aliens in our daily lives. The concept of joint custody applies to our shared responsibility for the planet. Saying goodbye to equality and embracing harmony is essential for progress. Differences among people are magical and should be celebrated, not feared. Authentic harmony cultures require understanding and appreciating differences. The future of business should focus on the heart and emotional intelligence. Intergenerational wisdom can bridge the gap between different age groups. Vulnerability is key to connecting with others and fostering understanding. Words can have different interpretations, leading to misunderstandings. Creating a better world for our children is a shared responsibility. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
The podcast features a thought-provoking conversation about stepping out of our so-called "comfort zones" and recognizing them for what they truly are—often unhealthy and unfulfilling spaces. Dr. Yox emphasizes that labeling these zones as "comfortable" can lead to self-sabotage, as our minds are wired to seek safety rather than happiness. Through personal anecdotes and insights, they explore strategies for overcoming fear and embracing discomfort as a catalyst for growth. The discussion also highlights the significance of failure as a stepping stone to success, encouraging listeners to redefine their relationship with failure and to learn from their experiences. Ultimately, the episode is a powerful reminder that personal transformation begins with honesty about our circumstances and the courage to take action toward meaningful change.A thought-provoking discussion unfolds in this podcast, centered on moving beyond one's comfort zone to achieve personal and professional growth. The guest, a transformative figure in the field of personal development, shares insights from her book that challenge the traditional notion of comfort. He argues that what many label as their comfort zone is often a space of stagnation and unfulfillment. Through engaging storytelling, she illustrates how embracing discomfort can lead to significant breakthroughs in various aspects of life. The conversation emphasizes the importance of reframing failure as an opportunity for learning rather than a setback, encapsulated in the philosophy of ‘failing fast,' which encourages rapid experimentation and adaptation.Throughout the episode, listeners are invited to reflect on their definitions of failure and success as the guest shares her experiences of overcoming challenges that once seemed insurmountable. The dialogue explores the psychological barriers people create to justify remaining in their comfort zones, urging individuals to confront the discomfort accompanying change. She advocates for a proactive approach to personal growth, highlighting the necessity of taking risks and learning from the outcomes, whether they are successes or failures. The episode culminates in practical advice for listeners seeking to step outside their comfort zones. Dr. Yox encourages a mindset shift, suggesting the real danger lies in inaction and complacency. By recognizing the value in discomfort and reframing one's relationship with failure, individuals can unleash their potential and embark on transformative journeys. This rich conversation provides listeners with actionable strategies for personal development and inspires them to embrace the messiness of growth as an integral part of their life journey.Dr. Axa Yox has a master's degree in physiology, a specialty diploma in Biotechnology from the International University, PhD in microbiology with a focus on genetics.Takeaways: Comfort zones often mask unhappiness; labeling them as comfortable can sabotage our growth. Failure is not the end but a necessary step in learning and growth. Surrounding ourselves with the right people can significantly influence our success and mindset. Understanding and acknowledging our emotions is crucial in breaking unhealthy patterns in life. Our past experiences shape our current actions, often unconsciously repeating learned behaviors. Words carry power; changing our vocabulary can shift our mindset and self-perception.

OVERVIEWThe idea of culture, which has its roots in Genesis 1:26-27, is discussed in this text along with how it affects human cognitive behaviour. It appears that in order to overcome self-limiting ideas and submit to God's will, it emphasises cognitive abilities including judgement, concept formulation, and metacognition. Cognitive science is used to analyse the cultural influence. Additionally, social cognitive skills are essential. We have to be aware of the need of promoting humility, remembering God's commands for this earthly journey, and evaluating one's ability to follow His laws especially when“Ideas That Provoking Thought Are Culture," ©2024 ISBN978-976-97385-3-9Dr. William Anderson Gittens,D.D.Author, Doctor of Divinity, Cultural Theorist, Licensed Cultural Practitioner, and Media Arts SpecialistWORKS CITED1 Corinthians 2:12-14 - Bible.comBible Gatewaybusyblessedwomen.com/the-story-of-nicodemus/christianpure.com/learn/prosperity-sin-to-be-rich-gods-view/Dr.William Anderson Gittens D.D.Author, Cultural Theoretician, License Cultural Practitioner, Media Arts Specialist and CEO Devgro Media Arts Services Publishing®2015https://bible.org/seriespage/psalm-73-suffering-righteous-and-success-sinnershttps://courses.lumenlearning.com/.../chapter/authors-languagehttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nathan_(prophet)https://founders.org/studies/hannah-faith-that-prays/https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/abs/10.1177/0081246320957489?journalCode=sapchttps://journals.sagepub.com/doi/full/10.1177/09593543221136103https://link.springer.com/article/10.3758/s13415-013-0205-3https://link.springer.com/chapter/10.1007/978-94-007-2312-2_4https://mindfulness-alliance.org/2018/09/09/mindfulness-practice-in-3d-dedication-diligence-devotion/https://neurolaunch.com/difference-between-cognition-and-intelligence/https://shenviapologetics.comhttps://sproutmentor.com/human-reasoning-versus-inspiration-by-the-holy-spirit-the-book-of-job/https://teachforjesus.com/how-god-helped-hannah-and-how-he-can-help-you/https://textbooks.whatcom.edu › duttoncmst101https://thefaithspace.com/lessons-from-hannah-in-the-bible/https://thinkaboutsuchthings.com/lessons-from-hannah-in-the-bible/https:Support the showPodcast 188 Recognition Ceremony Dr.William Anderson Gittens D.D.©2024 Letter Dr. Ronal E.Frzier, Th.dCommittee Dr. of Divinity Faculty Chair Master s International University Chair Masters International University of Divity Rmarks Dr. William Anderson GittensD.D.& Mrs. Magnola Gittens Mr. Karl King Mr. Andrew Platizky Mr. Shurlnad Mayers Bishop Carl Dixon & Pastor Angela Dixon Abundant Grace & Truth Congregation Scripture Br. Angela welcomes trauma expert Peter Levine PHD, who shares his profound insights on somatic experiencing and the nature of trauma. Peter reflects on his personal journey with trauma, emphasising that it is not an incurable brain disorder but rather a response to overwhelming experiences that can be healed. The conversation also looks into how trauma is stored in the body and the importance of discharging that energy to regain equilibrium. MAIN TAKEAWAYS Trauma is defined as an overwhelming experience that can leave individuals feeling stuck in distressing sensations and emotions. It is not an incurable brain disorder but rather a natural response of the body trying to protect itself from overwhelming fear and helplessness. The mind can often move on from trauma faster than the body, which may continue to hold onto the traumatic experience. This is reflected in the concept that "the body keeps the score," indicating that unresolved trauma can manifest physically and emotionally. To heal from trauma, it is essential to create new, positive embodied experiences that contradict the feelings of fear and helplessness associated with the trauma. This process involves finding moments of safety, love, and support to help discharge the trauma. Continuous exposure to traumatic events through media can re-trigger trauma, especially in children. It is crucial to limit this exposure to prevent the feeling of constant threat and to foster a sense of safety. BEST MOMENTS "The simplest definition is, you know, something happens and we're just overwhelmed. And we stay overwhelmed." "Trauma is something that happens in the body, but in order to heal trauma, we have to have new experience in our bodies." "When we've had trauma and we want to be able to discharge that, often what happens is a new situation arises that is maybe symbolic or looks to be similar." Talking points: trauma This was an honor. The word trauma gets thrown around a lot these days, so it's important to get back to basics and really sink into what's going on and why. After all, this is humanity we're talking about, and we're nothing if not complex. Peter is a legend in therapy circles for his groundbreaking work in somatic education and trauma work, so we dug into many of the different (and unusual) things something like trauma brings to the table. Both Peter and I encourage you to listen WITH someone! (00:00:00) - Peter's definition of trauma and how it affects the body (00:07:27) - Peter demonstrates a somatic exercise to help release trauma (00:13:14) - Do men and women experience and handle trauma differently? (00:21:40) - On how trauma needs witnessing to heal, and Peter's experience with active imagination (00:34:14) - Navigating the almost mystical side of healing (00:39:45) - Why the tiger? (00:43:27) - How can men work in a healthy way with anger, and how betrayal can impact how someone expresses themselves (00:49:08) - The main tool to help process trauma Peter A Levine, Ph.D., is the developer of Somatic Experiencing®, a naturalistic and neurobiological approach to healing trauma, which he has developed over the past 50 years. He holds a doctorate in Biophysics from UC Berkeley and a doctorate in Psychology from International University. In An Autobiography of Trauma: A Healing Journey (Park Street Press, 2024), renowned developer of Somatic Experiencing Peter A. Levine shares his personal journey to heal his own severe childhood trauma offering profound insights into the evolution of his innovative trauma healing method. Casting himself as a modern-day Chiron, the wounded healer of Greek mythology, Dr. Levine describes, in graphic detail, the violence of his childhood juxtaposed with specific happy and exuberant memories, which helped him prepare for coming to terms with his horrifying experiences. He shares his inner experience of being guided through Somatic Experiencing (SE) to illuminate and untangle his traumatic wounds and describes the mysterious and unexpected dreams and visions that have guided him through his life's work. Exploring his dream visitations from Albert Einstein in depth, he explains how he came to view Einstein as his personal spirit guide and mentor and how he later discovered his own personal and profound real-life connection to him through his mother. Describing his breakthroughs in developing Somatic Experiencing, the author details how he helped thousands of others before resolving his own trauma years later with the support of his method. He explains how the SE method is derived from his studies of wild animals in their natural environments, neurobiology, and more than 50 years of clinical observations. He describes his education and career as well as his encounters with noteworthy figures such as somaticists Charlotte Selver and Ida Rolf, ethological zoologist Nikolaas Tinbergen, and autism pioneer Mira Rothenberg. Unveiling the inner story of the man who changed the way psychologists, doctors, and healers understand and treat the wounds of trauma and abuse, this autobiography reveals how anyone suffering from trauma has a valuable story to tell. And by telling our stories, we can catalyze the return of hope, dignity, and wholeness. Peter A. My guest this week is Dr. Peter Levine, who is well-known for being the developer of Somatic Experiencing. He's also the author of a new book: An Autobiography of Trauma: A Healing Journey (affiliate link), which we focused on in this very enjoyable and meaningful discussion. Peter shared about how his own wounds from early in life were a big part of what led him into the field of trauma therapy. We explored how the healing continues, even now in Peter's ninth decade. Topics we discussed included: What Peter means when he describes himself as a modern “Chiron” Using our own wounds in life as we're working to help others Getting to trauma memories and healing through embodiment in somatic experiencing The horrific trauma Peter experienced early in his life The dream that led Peter to share this book rather than writing it only for his own healing The significance of dreams for waking life Learning to attend to the promptings of the unconscious mind The relation between somatic experiencing and an approach like cognitive behavioral therapy The role of the vagus nerve in the trauma response and in healing Using the body to encounter our traumas in a healing way Why a union of the body and mind tends to reduce anxiety The disconnection we so often experience between our minds and bodies Peter's reaction to a meditation workshop several decades ago The idea of “living your dying” Connections between death and the divine The promises and pitfalls of psychedelics Peter Levine, PhD, is the renowned developer of Somatic Experiencing. On this episode of the Coaching Studio, my guest is Dr. Frederick Sanders, MCC, the Freedom Architect. Join us as we explore Sanders' journey from a graphic designer to a coaching professional. Sanders shares his transition into coaching after feeling the need for a more impactful career, prompted by a conversation with a friend who was completing a coaching certification. Sanders then went on to complete his doctorate. His doctoral work focuses on performative masculinity among adolescent black American Christian males, exploring the cultic underpinnings and societal pressures of masculinity. The discussion also touches on the broader impacts of societal constructs on identity and behavior, highlighting the importance of self-exploration and the role of coaching in facilitating personal growth and authenticity. We discussed how not only men of color but all people can easily get put in a box of how they are "supposed to be," and together, we unpack the box. Between 1904 and 2008, researchers found that approximately 75% of patients with Werner syndrome (WS) worldwide were of Japanese descent. WS is a rare genetic disorder that causes premature aging and increases the risk of various age-related diseases, such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease and cancer. One of the hallmarks of WS is the loss of subcutaneous fat, which is the layer of fat under the skin that helps regulate body temperature and store energy. Subcutaneous fat loss leads to severe insulin resistance, which means that the body cannot use glucose effectively and has high blood sugar levels. But what causes subcutaneous fat loss in WS? And how does it affect the metabolism and health of WS patients? In a new study, researchers Daisuke Sawada, Hisaya Kato, Hiyori Kaneko, Daisuke Kinoshita, Shinichiro Funayama, Takuya Minamizuka, Atsushi Takasaki, Katsushi Igarashi, Masaya Koshizaka, Aki Takada-Watanabe, Rito Nakamura, Kazuto Aono, Ayano Yamaguchi, Naoya Teramoto, Yukari Maeda, Tomohiro Ohno, Aiko Hayashi, Kana Ide, Shintaro Ide, Mayumi Shoji, Takumi Kitamoto, Yusuke Endo, Hideyuki Ogata, Yoshitaka Kubota, Nobuyuki Mitsukawa, Atsushi Iwama, Yasuo Ouchi, Naoya Takayama, Koji Eto, Katsunori Fujii, Tomozumi Takatani, Tadashi Shiohama, Hiromichi Hamada, Yoshiro Maezawa, and Koutaro Yokote from Chiba University Graduate School of Medicine, Chiba University Hospital, Kazusa DNA Research Institute, The University of Tokyo, Kyoto University, and International University of Welfare and Health School of Medicine aimed to shed light on these questions by investigating the molecular mechanisms of subcutaneous fat dysfunction in WS. On October 3, 2023, their research paper was published in Aging's Volume 15, Issue 19, entitled, “Senescence-associated inflammation and inhibition of adipogenesis in subcutaneous fat in Werner syndrome.” “[...] research on WS is important as it can provide insights into the pathogenesis and development of treatments not only for WS but also for general age-related diseases."
